The purpose of this study consists of three things as follows. First, describe the skill of reading comprehension of drama script of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Padang. Second, describe the skill of writing drama script of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Padang. Third, analyze the skill of reading comprehension of drama script with skill of writing script of drama of student of class VIII SMP Negeri 13 Padang. Based on the results of data analysis concluded three things as follows. First, the skill of reading comprehension of play script of class VIII drama of SMP Negeri 13 Padang is in Good qualification (B) with average count 80,65. Second, the skill of writing the script of the drama of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Padang is in Good qualification (B) with average count 81,67. Third, based on t-test results, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted at 95% confidence level and degrees of freedom (dk) = n-2 because tcount> ttable (6.54> 1.70).Kata Kunci:Â korelasi, keterampilan membaca pemahaman naskah drama, menulisÂ naskah drama.

ABSTRACTÂ This article was to (1) describe the level of reading comprehension skills of the text exposition of the eight grade students of SMP Negeri 34 Padang (2) to describe the skill level of writing the exposition text of the eight grade students of SMP Negeri 34 Padang; and (3) to describe the correlational of reading comprehension skills of the exposition text skill of writing text exposition of student of class VIII of SMP Negeri 34 Padang. Theories used in this research are skill, reading comprehension of exposition text, writing skill of exposition, correlation skill reading comprehension text exposition to skill of writing text exposition of student class VIII SMP Negeri 34 Â Padang.This research type is quantitative research by using descriptive method. An escriptive method with correlation approach. The population in this study is the students of class VIII of Â SMPÂ 34 Padang registered in the academic year 2017/2018 which amounted to 268 students. The sample of this study amounted to 40 students. The sampling of this research was done by propotional random sampling technique. The data of this research is score of skill reading comprehension result in the form of objective test and score of skill writing skill in the form of performance test of class VIII student of Â SMP Negeri 34 Padang. Based on the research result. Â ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this study describe (1) the ability of readingÂ news comprehension class X SMK Negeri 2 Painan, (2) the ability to writeÂ news class X students of SMK Negeri 2 Painan, (3) the relationship of reading news comprehension skills with the ability to write an news SMK Negeri 2 class X Painan. The data in this study were collected by using objective test and a performance test. The findings of the study (1) the ability of reading news comprehension class X students ofÂ SMK Negeri 2 Painan are in more than enough qualification (71,09), (2) the ability to write news class X students of SMK Negeri 2 Painan are more than enough to qualify (73,61), (3) there is a significant relationship between reading news comprehension skills with the ability to write news class X SMK Negeri 2 Painan.Â Kata kunci : membaca pemahaman berita, menulis berita

The purpose of this study is to (1) desciribe the skill of writing the news berfore using cooperative learning model tipe think pair share, (2) desciribe the skill of writing the news after using cooperative learning model tipe think pair share, (3) describe effect between using of cooperative learning model type think pair share on the skill of writing to the news of class VIII SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. The result of this study is the influence of cooperative learning model type think pair share to news writing skill. The purpose of this study is to describe the value of character education in the novel Tentang Kamu by Tere Liye. This research data is in the form of words, phrases, sentences, and discourse that displays events and figures that indicate the values of character education contained in Tere Liye's novel Tentang Kamu. The source of this research data is Tere Liye's novel Tentang Kamu. Data are collected by reading and understanding, inventorying, interpreting, classifying and summarizing data relating to the character education values in Tere Liye's novel Tentang Kamu and based on apresiasif reading. The research findings are the value of character education found in the novel Tentang Kamu by Tere Liye as much as 155 data.Â Kata Kunci: nilai, pendidikan, karakter, implikasi

ABSTRACTÂ This research aims to describe and analyze the contribution of interest in reading prose fiction to the skill of writing short stories in class XI students of SMA Negeri Sungai Geringging Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. This type of research is quantitative with correlation design. The population of this research is the students of grade XI of SMA Negeri Sungai Geringging which is registered in academic year 2018/2019. There are two research variables, namely the interest in reading prose fiction (independent variables) and short story writing skills (dependent variables). The data was collected by giving performance test of short story writing skill and reading proxies reading fictional interest. ABSTRACTÂ This article was written to discuss the results of research on the skills to the text story moral/fable with writing skills the text story moral/fable the students class VIII SMP Negeri 5 Pariaman. The research was a score of the results of the skills to the text story moral/fable and a score of results of the writing skills the text of story moral/fable. The data obtained through two types of test, which isthe objective of a multiple choice as much as 40 bullets to measure the level of skills to the text story moral/fable and work performance for the skills writing the strory text moral/fable. This type of this study is quantitative. The method used is the method of descriptive with the design of merely correlational. The result of this research, there were three, that is (1) skills to te text story moral/fable the student class VIII in elementary school 5 Pariaman on qualifications (80,93), (2) the skill of writing the text story moral/fable the stuents class VIII in elementary school 5 Pariaman, located in the qualifying well (80,79), and (3) by the skills to the text story moral/fable to contribute with writing skills the text story moral/fable the students class VIII in elementary school 5 Pariaman as much as 54,61% in other words to te text story moral/fable it takes skill to text story moral/fable.Â Kata kunci : kontribusi, keterampilan menyimak, keterampilan menulis

ABSTRACTÂ Â This research is aimed to describe the influence of cooperative model Make A Match type concerning pantun writing skills of student class VII SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman. The research method of this study is experiment method with quasi experiment. The result of this study is there was significant influence of cooperative model Make A Match type concerning pantun writing skills of student class VII SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman at significant level 95% with degrees of freedomÂ (n1+n2)-2, namely ttable <tarithmetic (1,67<1,89). Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted because the results of the hypothesis test prove that value of ttable was smaller than tarithmetic.Â Kata Kunci: pengaruh, kooperatif, Make A Match, pantunÂ
