Abstract

Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (DISKOMINFO) is a government agency which provide IT services to local government (in this case Malang City Government). Utilization of IT functions is based on the principles of confidentiality, integrity and availability. The existence of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era requires government authorities to increase the vigilance of managing IT security so that security potential is handled and to improve performance efficiency. Thereby measuring the quality of IT security management to ensure information technology is applied in accordance with organizational strategies. Measurement of IT security capabilities at DISKOMINFO Malang City is done by comparing the conditions of IT security management that have been achieved with the conditions desired by the agency. This study uses a qualitative method based on COBIT 5 guidelines focusing on the APO13 (Manage Security) and DSS05 (Manage Security Services) processes. Data collection is done by observation, use of COBIT 5 assessment sheet instruments, checklist sheets, and direct interviews. Based on the research results, the results obtained in the APO13 (Manage Security) process reached level 1 (Established Process), while the DSS05 (Manage Security Services) process reached level 0 (Incomplete Process). DISKOMINFO Malang City hopes that both processes can reach level 2 (Managed Process). So that there is a gap of one level in the APO13 process and two levels in the DSS05 process. There are 13 recommendations in the APO13 process and 15 recommendations in the DSS05 process. Then the improvement roadmaps are presented to DISKOMINFO Malang City to achieve the target level.

Abstract

E-Kinerja of Kediri Regency is an E-Government information system application that can record and report the performance of Kediri Regency Government employees. Based on interviews with application users, there are several usability issues faced by users. Usability issues can reduce user productivity in using the application. Therefore, an evaluation to find and solve usability issues in a user interface is needed. Heuristic Evaluation is a method of usability evaluation that involves experts as evaluators to assess elements at an interface based on the heuristic usability principle. The heuristic usability principle used by evaluators in this study is nine principles proposed by Monroy. The evaluators assess the severity rating of each usability issues with a scale value of 1-5. The evaluation was carried out in three stages, i.e. the first evaluation, recommendation for improvement (making recommendations, designing a wireframe, and making a high-fidelity prototype design), and the second evaluation. The first evaluation and the second evaluation were conducted by the same three evaluators. The first evaluation provides 23 usability issues while the second evaluation provides two usability issues that consists of two new usability issues and three old usability issues that still exist.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the value that is felt by users that influence the interest in using MyTelkomsel. The population in this research is users of MyTelkomsel in Malang with the sampling using sampling purposive with 100 respondents. The data sampling of this research is done by spreading questionnaires. Data analysis is done using classic assumption test, partial test, and multiple regression analysis to five variables which is, functional values, emotional values, epistemic values, conditional values, and social values. Pearson correlation test was also conducted to determine the closeness of the relationship between these variables with the intention to use variable. Testing is done using SPSS tools. The conclusion from the results of the research conducted showed that functional values variables, emotional values variables, and social values variables have a significant positive influence on the interest in using the MyTelkomsel application with an enough closeness relationship while the epistemic values variable does not significantly influence the interest in using the MyTelkomsel application with the closeness of the relationship low or weak, and conditional values variables also have no significant effect on the interest in using the MyTelkomsel application with a very low or very weak relationship.

Abstract

PermataMobile X is an internet-based electronic banking service provided by PT Bank Permata Tbk (Permata Bank) for customers to access a transaction experience that is simple, fast, and reliable, easy to use and has a very complete transaction feature. Based on an interview with Mr. Bayu Ardhi Koencara as PermataMobile X Project Manager, and observations by researchers, there are still many usability issues in this application. This study was evaluated to measure the level of usability by using the Usability Testng Methid and The Usability Scale System thereby producing recommendations for improvement by measuring aspects of learning ability where the result is 68%. Calculation of these results are included in the category below the average., Aspects of effeciency of 0.01 goals / sec, the error aspect of 0.41. If the calculation results are compared with the standard errors that exist in each task that is 0.70 then the error is classified as below average. Satisfaction uses the System Usabilty Scale questionnaire to find out whether the user is satisfied with the system used which is filled by 20 active users and the results are on average 70.1. Participants of the test involved 5 users domiciled in Jakarta. Interviews were conducted to explore problems from the application so that they could be evaluated. Based on the results of usability testing and interviews found 4 problems. From these problems, recommendations for improvement were obtained according to usability guidelines

Abstract

PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) which is engaged in airport service business and services related to airports in the western part of Indonesia. Currently PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) already has an application that can help run operational activities. However, in its application, the implementation of IT operational management found several problems such as taking too long to access the system, the existence of hardware that has been damaged for about a year. Based on these problems, the use of the COBIT 5 Framework will help to measure the level of capability in the DSS01 (Operational Management) process that has been carried out by the IT Division of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero). The purpose of this study was to determine the evaluation results of the capability level and provide recommendations based on the results of the evaluation. The level of capability in the DSS01 process is at level 1 with a percentage of 72.5%. While the expected level of capability is level 2 so that there is a gap of 1. The recommendations for improvement given consist of 6 recommendations which are mapped into the roadmap.

Abstract

Departement of Communication and Informatics (KOMINFO) Batu City is an public office under the auspices of Government of Batu city which to serve society to provide planning, manage and to coordinate on information technology that needed by citizen. The problem that Agency of Agency of Communication and Informatics (KOMINFO) has are lack of planning on Technology information governance. Capability level is measured to give information about the condition of governance technology information which using APO13 (Manage Security) and process DSS05 (Manage Security Services) this measurement scale from level 0 Incomplete process to level 5 Optimized process and is based on evidence to give detailed information about the condition .Based on this research result the Departement of Communication and Informatics (KOMINFO) Batu City has obtained capability level on APO13 (Manage Security) at third level (level 3) and on DSS05 (Manage Security Services) at first level (level 1). Gap level function is to provide the correct improvement for Departement of Communication and Informatics (KOMINFO) Batu. On APO13 the Gap level had been obtained from targeted level at two levels. On DSS05 the gap level based on gap analysis is by four levels. The recommendation based on this research are to complete documentation plan about technology information policy, provide some standard procedure to every activity in technology information and to control the performance of IT Governance.

Abstract

Kadiri University is a private university in Kediri. Currently, the attendance system at Kadiri University is still using manual system. The manual attendance system has several lakes, with manual system, students can manipulate their absences and there is an opportunity for errors in recapitulation of attendance data. From these problems, the authors provide a solution by designing a mobile presence aplication. With this design, the process of attendace data recapitulation become easier for lecturers, students, and academic staff, and this design also can minimize student absences data manipulation. The design process is carried out with a user experience creation approach using human-centered design methods and elements of user experience. The human-centered design method consisted of four stages of the approach, namely specify the context of use, specify needs, design application, and evaluate the design. The process of measuring the usability prototype used the heuristic evaluation method using ten usability heuristic principles. Based on the results of the evaluation, it is known that there were 18 problems in the prototype, H1 related to Visibility of System Status, H2 related to Match Between System and The Real World, H3 related to User Control and Freedom, H4 related to Consistency and Standards, H5 related to Error Prevention, H6 related to Recognition Rathen than recall, H8 related to Aesthetic and Minimalist, and H9 related to Help users recognize, diagnose, and recover from errors. Problem with the highest average value was the problem with U5-1 code, which was the problem because there was no confirmation window for submit attendance.

Abstract

Oro Oro Dowo Market Malang is one of the traditional markets with various kinds of commodities on sale by traders. Besides sales and purchase transaction services, other operational activities include Market Management services. However, there are problems such as not optimal results of the market retribution because there are traders who have not paid fees according to the nominal provisions in force, implementation of the e-retribution system is constrained by signals, and most of the market management activities are still not utilizing information technology. Therefore, evaluation is needed to find problems and improvements to solve problems. In this study, business processes are modeled by Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN), then business process evaluation with Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method and 5 Why's Analysis and recommendations for business process improvement using streamlining tools in the Business Process Improvement (BPI) method. Improvements were made to activities with the highest RPN value to focus on the urgency of the problem. Furthermore, simulation is carried out between the current business process (as-is) and the recommendation (to-be) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the improvement recommendations. The simulation results on the Market Retribution Withdrawal business process showed an increase in time efficiency of 24.8%. This can occur due to improvements made by changes and additional activities as well as the use of information systems.

Abstract

The more rapid advances in technology encourage people to fulfill their needs and wishes through the internet. In education, one of benefit is that it can make easier for system users to search for various information about education, such as searching for online teachers. One of the websites that can provide services to find quality or online tutors is Superprof.co.id and Zonaprivat.com. Both websites are in the same sector and have functionality and competitors in the same industry. This research aims to get feedback from each user, take measurements and compare the User Experience from the two websites. This research uses Usability Testing and User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) methods. Usability testing or scenario testing will be fulfill on 10 respondents based on 4 parameters, namely task completed, time per completed task, error rate, and number of clicks. The User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) test were distributed to 25 respondents and has 6 measurement scales, including attractiveness, perpicuity, efficiency, dependability, simulation, and novelty. After do testing and filling in the questionnaire, responses and problems encountered by respondents will be obtained when conducting scenario testing. From the tests that have been done, it can be deduce that the Superprof.co.id website gets better test scores than the Zonaprivat.com website.

Abstract

e-Learning is a tools for the learning process which is implemented without having to face to face directly between students and teachers. In e-learning usually contains information related to learning modules, school assignments, test score results and other announcements related to the learning process. E-Learning is usually one of the features on school websites. Based on the results of the author's interviews with several students and teachers, it is difficult to implemented the learning process with many kinds of platforms so they feel confused because the information is not well organized. So students and teachers need a platform that can help the learning process. With e-Learning, all information is clearly organized, so students and teachers can easily implemented the learning process without any reason to miss information. This study aims to design e-Learning on the website of SMAN 13 Surabaya, to meet user needs. In this study, the approach used is the Human Centered Design approach. Human Centered Design is an approach that uses human/ergonomic factors, knowledge and usability techniques. This approach is interactive and aims to develop systems in design that can increase the effectiveness and satisfaction of users. The resulting design is a desktop version of the prototype by testing using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to find out whether the user's needs have been resolved. The results of the test using the UEQ assessment, which have a positive category mean value with all UEQ scales being in the very good category except the Perspicuity scale being in the above average category and the Novelty scale being in the good category.
