Abstract

SMAN 15 Surabaya uses the website to disseminate information and news about the school to students. As one of the senior high schools that was included in the regional school category in Surabaya, it is important for SMA Negeri 15 Surabaya to provide qualified facilities as a form of quality assurance supervision. Thus, it is necessary to evaluate the quality of website service performance which until now has never been done. This assessment was carried out using the Webqual 4.0 and IPA methods. The results of testing on 107 students of SMA Negeri 15 Surabaya showed that there were 4 attributes with a high priority level of improvement, namely display attractiveness, timeliness, layout and format of information, and how easy it is to attract interest and attention. So that improvements will be focused on improving the appearance of the website and consistency in the delivery of information. Then there are 3 attributes with a low priority level of improvement, namely detailed information, relevance of information, and the ease of students in communicating with teachers. So that improvements are more focused on the content of information. While the other attributes have had good performance to excess so that it is sufficient to maintain the quality of its performance and does not require improvement. Recommendations for improvement given to attributes with high and low priority for improvement refer to research journals related to website interface design and appearance as well as HHS Web Usability Guidelines.

Abstract

To help address the problem of lack of participation of youth in Karang Taruna due to the lack of a system that is able to accommodate all organizational activities carried out by Karang Taruna, the author felt it was necessary to create an organizational management application that could help the performance and internal management in the Karang Taruna named Makna. The design of this Makna application is done using the Prototype Model method because in this method, it can be done the design of an interactive application prototype. as well as in the collection of data is also conducted interview methods and analysis of Business Processes. This research resulted in Unified Modelling Language (UML) design, diagrams and application interface design. After that, in order to ensure the feasibility of the application prototype to be accepted by prospective users, an application interface test with a Usability Testing approach is conducted. Usability Testing test on the design of this Makna application gets enough results to be accepted by prospective users later.

Abstract

Senjani Kitchen is a company engaged in daily catering. In the business process Senjani Kitchen applies a coupon system. So that users are asked to buy a certain number of coupons and can use these coupons to order daily catering. However, the current process is still done manually via WhatsApp, so users must record their own coupon management. In addition, because business processes are still dependent on humans, it causes frequent errors in user orders. So that a new innovation is needed to overcome these problems. One of the innovations that can be done is with a website. In making a website, it takes a design that has a good user experience so that users will be comfortable and satisfied. Human Centered Design (HCD) is a user experience design method that focuses on user needs, so it is suitable for use as a design foundation. The results of the design evaluation that have been carried out using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) get an attraction value of 1.698, a clarity value of 1.786, an efficiency value of 1.655, an accuracy value of 1.631, a stimulation value of 1.464, and a novelty value of 0.786. Where the value of attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, accuracy, and stimulation received the predicate Good, and the recency value received the predicate above average. Thus it can be concluded that the solution design has a good user experience.

Abstract

Sistem Aplikasi Masyarakat Bertanya Terpadu (SAMBAT) Online is one of the electronic services (based on information technology) at the Communication and Information Technology Office of Malang City which still often experiences technical problems rooted in information technology governance issues. Based on the Regulation of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5 of 2018 concerning Guidelines for Evaluation of Electronic-Based Government Systems, which states that the SPBE evaluation is the result of absorption from COBIT, this study tries to assess service governance using the COBIT 5 domain DSS (Deliver) framework. , Service and Support) with a focus area on the DSS03 (Manage Problems) process. This study aims to determine the capability level and gap and provide recommendations. The result of the capability level in the DSS03 process is 1 with a gap of 1. The recommendations given are in the form of a road map using ITIL V3 2011 as a guide.

Abstract

Niagara Rafting is a website developed by Niagara Adventure to display a profile of Niagara Rafting and find out what products and services are offered. Based on the results of interviews with users, it is known that there are problems related to usability aspects, namely learnability and satisfaction. Since the first time the website released, the evaluation carried out by Niagara Rafting was limited to the functionality and did not pay attention to the usability aspect of the user interface to overcome the usability problems that were found. Heuristic evaluation is a method for conducting usability testing properly because it involves an expert who has a deep understanding of usability as an evaluator in this study. Each usability problem found will be given a severity rating from 0 to 4. There are 2 stages of heuristic evaluation, namely early stage heuristic evaluation and late stage heuristic evaluation. The initial heuristic evaluation carried out an assessment of the original object, namely the Niagara Rafting website and found 18 usability problems. Recommendations for improvement are made in the form of a high-fidelity prototype by taking into account the recommendations provided by the evaluators and guidelines. The final heuristic evaluation carried out an assessment of the improvement design resulting in 3 usability problems and there were old usability problems, but the severity rating value was reduced from 4 to 2 and from 2 to 1.

Abstract

Eling is an LMS that contains information on the implementation of learning activities at Filkom. Google Classroom is a Learning Management System (LMS) service product that aims to simplify and organize the learning process, assess assignments and improve communication without having to meet face-to-face. Currently, Filkom UB uses two LMS, namely Google Classroom and Eling for online learning. So far, it is not known what the student's perspective is when using the LMS Google Classroom and Eling. Therefore, the researcher wants to evaluate the user experience from the student's perspective on these two LMS. If the student's perspective is known, it is hoped that the problems encountered by student users with each LMS and the needs of users will be known, which will later provide benefits for improvements to LMS services. The researcher also intends to find out and compare how good the user experience is felt by LMS users. This LMS user experience test uses usability testing. Usability testing is used to identify problems and determine user responses to show how effective and efficient the LMS is to help users achieve their goals. The results of the interviews obtained problems, needs and preferences of respondents in each LMS. The results of testing the effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction can be seen that Google Classroom gets a higher rating on all scenario testing and the results of the SUS questionnaire.

Abstract

PT. Hexindo Adiperkasa Balikpapan Branch is a company engaged in heavy equipment trading industry and provides services to customers. PT. Hexindo Adiperkasa Balikpapan Branch has utilized IT in data communication network to assist daily operational in company. The existence of information technology used in company, besides provide benefits it also cause risk which known as IT incidents to company. Managers must manage every IT incident with effective and efficient in order to prevent any bad impact that could hampered business operations. Based on these problems, researcher evaluate the management of information technology service management at PT. Hexindo Adiperkasa Balikpapan Branch to assess the company's maturity in managing information technology. In accordance with problems as mentioned above, author used the COBIT 5 framework and DSS (Deliver, Service, and Support) domain that focuses on DSS02 (Managing Service Requests and Incidents) and DSS03 (Problem Management) processes. Based on the assessment results, DSS02 is at capability level 0 and DSS03 is at capability level 0. The target capability for DSS02 and DSS03 is at level 1. It is recommended that the target capability which had been achieved are mapped in the roadmap with a span time of 3 years.

Abstract

The Department of Communication and Information Technology of Malang City is a government organization that is engaged in data and information processing for the public or other government agencies, which has implemented the use of IT in its processes. So that they have to carry out IT management/management activities, which after the interview arose the problem of how the current management is preparing to deal with IT developments. Starting from prioritizing which IT management/governance processes should be prepared first. COBIT 2019 has a Design Factor process that main purposes is to find out which processes are crucial for the organization (along with the target level) to focus on. The researcher saw that the Design Factor process was in accordance with the problem at the Department. Then the Design Factor process was carried out to the department with the final result of the focus process being BAI11 with a target of level 3. Then it was evaluated according to COBIT 2019 and the level of BAI11 was 2 (gap of 1 from the target). Then the formulation of recommendations to bridge the gap is carried out with the final result of 4 recommendations.

Abstract

Google Merchandise Store is a business unit owned by Google in form of e-commerce that sells merchandise made by Google like clothing, bag, stationary, and others. As a business process support, Google Merchandise Store did an investment in digital marketing. Google Merchandise store spend some of money in form of investment to digital advertising service provider called Google Ads to get visitors, reach, or conversion from paid search and or display ad networks. Researchers use web traffic report from Google Analytics to analyze its investment feasibility using Alinean ROI Dashboard concept. Alinean ROI Dashboard combine tangible and intangible benefits with risk factor and calculate them using metrics such as ROI, NPV, Payback Period, and other to represent investment feasibility. Based on the analysis result, investment that is conducted by Google Merchandise Store has Risk Adjusted ROI at 110,57%. But after using periodical report that represented as linear diagram, researcher found there is a degradation trend at 19,5% each period so that company should consider investment influencing factors if they decide to continue its investment in digital advertising.

Abstract

Technostress is one of the negative effects experienced by individuals due to the use of technology defined as a disease of modern adaptation caused by the inability to cope with new computer technology healthily. The negative effects of the use of this technology are also felt by employees caused by the use of information technology well and its use is increasing due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Workers who are supposed to come to the office and meet with colleagues are required to convert all their activities through communication software. The use of technology is needed to support work during the current pandemic, but this trend is becoming a new thing for some people. If employees experience technostress, their performance will decrease and employees cannot complete their work well. The Study objectives were to know the factors that can cause technostress in employees and how to reduce technostress from the individual side of the employee. Data collection is done qualitatively to employees of an organization by conducting semi-structured interviews. Data obtained from interview results are analyzed using thematic analysis methods. There are six stages in thematic analysis, including understanding data, data coding, finding themes, reviewing themes, defining and naming themes, and creating analytical results. The results of this study of employees of an organization experienced five technostress factors. The study also discusses how individuals deal with technostress in employees, namely self-efficacy and mindfulness.
