Abstract

Business Model Canvas (BMC) is a method used as business management strategy. This second stage of community service is developing BMC model on channeling elements techniques for communicating, interacting, and meeting between sellers and buyers. The purpose of  this community service is the application of technology in digital product marketing called digital marketing. The approach used in digital marketing uses Instagram, based on national surveys and surveys environment at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia has not been optimal. This digital marketing implementation method includes three stages, preparation, implementation and evaluation of activities. Preparation is carried out information on needs, methods of community service activities and socializing activities with business practitioners. The covid-19 pandemic that has occurred does not mean that it cannot carry out productive activities, but technological developments, the implementation of community service is synchronously or online via Zoom apps which is attended by students, academia and business enthusiast. The results of community service with the Instagram digital marketing are carried through questionnaires to explore satisfaction and relevance needs Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Kampus Cibiru that they can provide motivation to develop brand awareness of products or services and increase the number of entrepreneurs among students. Bisnis Model Canvas (BMC) merupakan sebuah metode yang digunakan sebagai strategi pengelolaan usaha. Pengabadian kepada masyarakat tahap kedua ini mengembangkan model BMC pada element channeling berupa teknik berkomunikasi, berinterakasi, dan bertemunya antara penjual dan pembeli. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini  ialah penerapan teknologi pada pemasaran produk secara digital atau dikenal dengan istilah digital marketing. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada digital markting menggunakan Instagram, hal ini disebabkan berdasarkan survei nasional dan survei di lingkungan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia belum optimal penggunaanya. Metode pelaksanaan digital marketing ini meliputi tiga tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi kegiatan. Persiapan dilakukan dengan cara menggali informasi kebutuhan, metode kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan sosialisasi kegiatan dengan praktisi bisnis. Pandemic covid-19 yang sampai saat ini terjadi bukan berarti tidak dapat melakukan kegiatan produktif namun berkat adanya perkembangan teknolgi maka pelaksanaan pengebadian kepada masyarakat dilakukan secara synchronous atau tatap maya melalui Zoom yang dihadiri oleh mahasiswa, peserta didik dan penggiat usaha. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan tema digital marketing Instagram dilakukan melalui kuesioner untuk menggali kepuasan dan relevasi dengan kebutuhan mahasiswa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia di Kampus Cibiru sehingga dapat memberikan motivasi untuk mengembangkan brand awareness produk atau jasa serta menambah jumlah wirausaha di kalangan mahasiswa.

Abstract

The massive drug trafficking in Indonesia has threatened the resilience of society, especially the younger generation. Indeed, the government through the National Narcotics Agency has intensified various efforts to educate the community to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs in line with the increasing number of drug trafficking among the younger generation. The implementation of anti-drug counseling activities faces some obstacles such as the limited counseling personnel, time, and cost. Supporting the anti-drug movement becomes the obligation of all parties, especially academics to optimize the counseling website media in cooperation with related NGOs and to provide training on the use of the website as a personal counseling media that can be used anywhere and anytime.

Abstract

Pemerataan pendidikan merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang ada di Indonesia. Akses terhadap pendidikan yang berkualitas belum sepenuhnya dirasakan oleh masyarakat yang tidak mampu. Selain menjadi tanggung jawab pemerintah, hal ini juga merupakan tanggung setiap warga negara indonesia. Sebagai wujud kesadaran masyarakat, kini sudah banyak berdiri berbagai bentuk relawan mengajar (voluntary teaching) berupa yayasan maupun komunitas sosial yang bergelut dalam bidang pendidikan seperti Indonesia Mengajar, Akademi berbagi, Mataharikecil Indonesia, dan masih banyak lagi.  Berdasarkan observasi dilapangan bahwa tidak semua relawan berlatar belakang bidang pendidikan. Tidak terbiasanya relawan dalam mendidik memberi pengaruh langsung terhadap kualitas pengajaran yang diberikan kepada peserta didik, karena para relawan pengajar tidak memahami keilmuan dalam menyusun pembelajaran yang sistematis, mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi. Hal ini dapat berdampak langsung terhadap kualitas pengajaran yang diberikan kepada siswa. Oleh karena itu diperlukan adanya program  pelatihan bagi para relawan pengajar dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi web EDGIV untuk mendukung kegiatan mengajar yang terstruktur dan sistematis yang dapat diakses di mana pun dan dari perangkat apa pun. Pelatihan dilakukan kepada relawan mengajar (voluntary teaching) dari komunitas Mataharikecil di Kota Bandung. Didapat hasil bahwa relawan pengajar mendapat hasil manfaat dari aplikasi berbasis web EDGIV sebagai sarana pendukung dalam sistem belajar mengajar.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 marked by using information and communication technology as a tool that can improve the quality of human activities. This phenomenon is also applied to efficiency of various sectors of human activities are education sector, e-commerce, health, industry, transportation and other sectors. The implementation of technology in the education through android-based learning media can create interactive and interest for students and in the industrial sector used as a marketing tool that can reach market than conventional methods. Augmented Reality (AR) is an interactive technology combines objects in the real world and virtual as visually and real time which generates information. The author implements AR in universities on computing school, especially computer hardware. Hardware characters have different structures, different functional tasks and costs. Through an AR technology called kenal hardware, hopefully the learning interaction process will be more interactive, efficient and cost-effective. The evaluation used to validate the system using a blackbox model by developers and users with four instruments includes functional requirements (91.84%), ease of use (63.27%), errors (24.49%) and interfaces (42.86%). The results of the evaluation indicate that kenal hardware can be used in learning activities to introduce computer hardware

Abstract

Diabetes is a deadly and chronic disease. It characterized by an increase in blood sugar. Many complications occur if diabetes does not treat and identified. The common identification process by visits to diagnostic centers and consulting physician. It makes bored patients. Machine learning approach can solve the problem of diabetic identification. However, the unbalanced range of diabetes variable values ​​affects the quality of machine learning results. This study predicts the likelihood of diabetes in diabetic patients from 768 Indian women, using three machine learning classification algorithms and Z-Score normalization method. The machine learning algorithms used are Decision Tree, Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Naive Bayes. Experiments were run on the Pima Indians Diabetes Database (PIDD). Dataset retrieved from the UCI Machine Learning Repository. The performance of the three algorithms was evaluated using accuracy, precision, F1, and recall based on confusion matrix. SVM algorithm is an algorithm that has the highest performance that both algorithm the Naive Bayes and Decision Tre algorithms, the accuracy and F1 is 80.73% and 76%. The Z-Score method has positively contribution to increasing the accuracy of the classification model. Furthermore, this study also managed to get a higher accuracy than previous studies.

Abstract

Blood supplies and stocks are urgently needed. Regular donations from healthy volunteers are the only way to keep up with the blood supply. This research aims to develop and evaluate a machine-learning algorithm to predict whether a volunteer will donate or not. The machine learning algorithms are Naïve Bayes, Logistic Regression, and Support Vector Machine (SVM). This study also applies the process of normalizing data with a Z-score to standardize the dataset scale. The dataset is sourced from the Hsin-Chu City Blood Transfusion Service, Taiwan, and stored in the UCI repository. The evaluation methods are accuracy, precision, recall, and F-1 score. The research results with the Naïve Bayes algorithm were 89.90%, Logistic Regression 82.59%, and SVM 94.79%. The normalization process using the Z-Score method contributes positively to improving the performance of the classification model. Based on this performance, it provides predictive results for volunteers who will return to donate blood to offer blood reserves to those in need.

Abstract

In light of the swift advancement of technology, individuals are compelled to see current technological innovations as a means to enhance and maximize the overall standard of living. One potential approach to societal advancement involves achieving a harmonious equilibrium between technology and social life. Nevertheless, it is important to acknowledge that not all strata of society possess the capacity to effectively adjust to these transformations. In light of this, it is imperative to implement pedagogical strategies and instructional approaches. The instructional and educational activities were conducted at Ar-Rohman Orphanage in Bandung, serving as a means to facilitate community adaptation. This particular exercise is comprised of three distinct stages. The initial phase involves the compilation of the teaching syllabus required for the teaching and training procedures. Subsequently, the second phase encompasses the implementation of teaching and training activities, along with the assessment of participants' comprehension. Finally, the third phase entails the execution of a concluding evaluation. The pupils of Ar-Rohman Orphanage engage in community service activities that involve teaching and training. These activities enable them to effectively manage the integration of technology into their social lives, namely through fostering the development of problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

The younger generation is particularly susceptible to the dangers of drug abuse due to the potential long-term consequences associated with narcotics use. Consequently, they often find themselves in the crosshairs of drug trafficking syndicates seeking financial gain. In response to this issue, the government, working in conjunction with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), has introduced the Program for Prevention, Eradication, Abuse, and Illicit Trafficking of Drug Precursors (P4GNPN) as a strategic measure to combat drug trafficking. Aligned with the broader anti-narcotics movement in Indonesia, our implementation team has launched a training program aimed at harnessing the power of interactive systems to serve as an educational tool on drug-related matters. The primary recipients of this program are teachers who are active members of the Indonesian Teachers Association (PGRI) in Pangandaran Regency. The fundamental objective of employing this interactive system is to empower users with the capability to access drug information and counseling interactively and on a personal basis, regardless of their location or the time of day. The participants have been thoroughly trained in the proper use and effective utilization of this interactive system. According to the feedback obtained through the evaluation process, participants have expressed a clear understanding of the material, and the training has significantly boosted their motivation to carry out anti-drug movements. With the introduction of this community service initiative, we aspire to lend support to the government's and society's collective efforts in addressing the pressing issue of drug abuse among the younger generation.

Abstract

Vocational High Schools (SMK) are a part of formal education that aims to produce productive, work-ready graduates in accordance with 21st-century needs. However, the existing conditions are not in line with industry demands that require graduate competencies aligned with technological advancements. This community service program aims to enhance SMK students' skills in creating 3D animations, a technology that plays an important role in metaverse content creation. The program implementation method is an action research method consisting of introduction, training, and mentoring stages. Based on the evaluation results, the pre-test scores ranged from 24–54, and the post-test scores ranged from 46–94. This shows a 57.45% increase in skill abilities, with an average N-gain score of 0.66 (medium criteria), meaning that 3D visual training for facing industry in the metaverse era for SMK students is effectively used to improve abilities.

Abstract

Perguruan Tinggi (PT) dalam meningkatkan pelayanan kepada sivitas akademika ialah dengan menerapkan dan menyediakan fasilitas pelayanan berbasis teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK). Salah satu jenis pelayanan pada departement akademik dan kemahasiswaan ialah pelayanan administrasi permohonan observasi dan penelitian dilakukan menggunakan spereadsheet serta ditulis pada buku agenda. Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Kampus Cibiru memiliki jumlah mahasiswa yang bertambah tiap tahunnya. Hal ini menimbulkan permintaan pelayanan bertambah sehingga menjadi kurang efisien karena memerlukan waktu proses permintaan yang relatif lama. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan prototipe sistem informasi yang merupakan tahapan pada metode waterfall untuk menganalisa kebutuhan pengguna. Prototipe diperlukan sebelum perangkat lunak sistem informasi dibangun dengan tujuan pembuatan perangkat lunak terstruktur dan tepat waktu. Implementasi metode yang digunakan menggunakan metode tersebut dilakukan pengujian dan validasi terhadap sistem yang telah berjalan menggunakan instrument aplikasi, analisa data, proses permohonan, penyimpanan data serta dokumentasi memberikan hasil SIMA efektif dan efisien dalam memantu tugas pokok dan fungsi akmawa.Kata Kunci: Akademik, Perancangan Sistem Informasi, Sistem Informasi, Waterfall.
