Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is aimed to describe the influence cooperative model type think pair share concerning description essay writing skills of student class XI SMA Negeri 1 Padang Panjang. The research method of this study is experiment method with quasi experiment. The results of this study there was significant influence cooperative model type think pair share concerning description essay writing skills of student class XI SMA Negeri 1 Padang Panjang at significant level 95% with degrees of freedom  (n1+n2)-2, namely ttable <tarithmetic (1,70<5,43). Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted because the results of the hypothesis test prove that value of ttable was smaller than tarithmetic. Kata kunci: pengaruh, kooperatif, think pair share, teks eksplanasi.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the influence model the effect of problem based learning (PBL) the skills of essay writing texposition text class VII SMP Negeri 5 Bukittinggi. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. The results of this research are three: (1) essay writing skills exposition text before using problem based learning (PBL) model of class VII SMP Negeri 5 Bukittinggi are in qualifying Nearly Enough (HC) with an average value of 54,34, (2) essay writing skills exposition text after using problem based learning (PBL) model of class VII SMP Negeri 5 Bukittinggi are in qualification More than Enough (HC) with an average value of 68,92, and (3) exposition text essay writing skills class VII SMP Negeri 5 Bukittinggi after using the model of problem based learning (PBL) high than before using the model of problem based learning (PBL). Kata kunci : pengaruh, model problem based learning (PBL), teks eksposisi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article is written to determine the research aimed to analyze the students skill of writing description text in VII (seventh) grade of SMP Negeri 12 Padang before and after implementation of the CTM technique and to analyze the effect CTM technique toward the skill of writing description text in VII (seventh) grade of SMP Negeri 12 Padang. The data of this research are the test score of writing description text skill before and using CTM technique of the students in class VII SMP Negeri 12 Padang. The data was being analyzed with the percentage formula, the arithmetic mean formula and the t-test. The instrument of the research is performance test, that is test to write description text before and after using CTM technique. There are two findings of this research. First, the skill of students in the VII (seventh) grade of SMP Negeri 12 Padang of writing description text before using the CTM technique with qualification C (Cukup) with average 58,5. Second, the  skill  of  students in  the  VII  (seventh) grade  SMP  Negeri  12  Padang  of  writing description text after using the CTM technique with qualification B (Baik) with average 82,19. Third, according to the t-test, alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted in the significance percentage 95% and the degrees of freedom (df) = n-1 because of the taritmatic> ttable, which is 10,71 > 1,70.Kata kunci: Pengaruh, copy the master, menulis teks deskripsi

Abstract

The aim of the research is to be describe these following two things. First, to describe the structure of story text written by seventh grade students in Junior High School Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. Second, to describe the text of the fantasy story of students’ works. The method that is used is descriptive method. This research was done in Junior High School Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. the data of the research are fantasy story texts collected in many sources such as the documents of 20 fantasy text stories written by the students. Instrument of this research is the writer herself. The data was analyzed by describing the data, than analyzing and discussing them towards the theory. The result of the research is, first, there are three generic structures of fantasy story, they are, orientation, complication, and resolution in the works of the students in Junior High School Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. the second result is there are 273 accuracies of the sentence use and EBI, there are 341 inaccuracies, and 7282 diction accuracy (selected word), and 62 diction inaccuracy (selected word) in the students’ writings. Based on this research, it can be concluded that, the students are able to use the generic structures correctly. It is proved by 20 texts that have been analyzed, and there are 18 texts that use all generic structures correctly. Then, the students are more skillful in using diction (selected word) in their writing than sentences and EBI. Kata kunci: struktur teks, kebahasaan teks, teks cerita fantasi

Abstract

This research aims to describe the influence model of discovery learning the skills of writing text exposition class X SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. The results of this research are three: (1) writing text skills exposition before using discovery learning model of class X SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang are in qualifying Nearly Enough (HC) with an average value of 66,62, (2) writing text skills exposition after using discovery learning model of class X SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang are in qualification More than Enough (HC) with an average value of 78,83, and (3) exposition writing text skills class X SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang after using the model of discovery learning better than before using the model of discovery learning. Kata Kunci: pengaruh, model discovery, teks eksposisi

Abstract

 This study has three objectives as follows. (1) Describe the skills of writing fabel text class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Payakumbuh before using bassed learning problem model. (2) Describe the skills of writing fabel text class VII students SMP Negeri 4 Payakumbuh after using the model problem bassed learning. (3) To describe the influence of problem based learning model on the skill of writing fabel  text of class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Payakumbuh. Next Model Problem Based Learning abbreviated as PBL. This research type is quantitative research with experiment method. The design of this study using a group of subjects students class VII SMP Negeri 4 Payakumbuh registered in 2016-2017 which amounted to 329 people. The sample of this research is the students of grade VII.1 SMP Negeri 4 Payakumbuh which determined by using purposive sampling technique with certain consideration. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe article was written to describe the reading comprehension skills of exposition text with the skills of writing exposition students class X SMAN 1 Payakumbuh. The type of this stuudy is quantitative research by using descriptive method. The research design used is correlational. Population in this study is students of grade X SMAN 1 Payakumbuh registered in the academic year 2017/2018 amounted to 396 students. Sample were taken using proportional random sampling. Based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that correlation between reading skill with writing skill of exposition text student class X SMAN 1 Payakumbuh with convidence 95% with degree of freedom n-1; t-count> t-table (8,37)> (1.67 ). Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is three, namely, first, describing the writing skills of the fable text of class VII students of SMP Negeri 8 Padang before using based on CIRC models. Second, describe the writing skills of the fable text of grade VII students at SMP Negeri 8 Padang after using based on CIRC models. Third, describing the effect of based on CIRC models on the writing skills of the fable text in grade VII students at SMP Negeri 8 Padang. There are two data of this study, namely the score of the results of the test writing skills in the fable text of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 8 before and after using the based on CIRC models. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded three things, namely first, the writing skills of the fable text of class VII SMP Negeri 8 Padang before using the based CIRC models in the Enough qualifications (C) with an average value of 64,38. Second, the report writing skills of the fable results of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Padang after using the based on the CIRC models in the Good qualifications (B) with an average value of 83,60. Third, there is a significant effect in the use of based on the CIRC models on the report writing skills of the fable text results of class VII students at SMP Negeri 8 Padang because of the tcount> ttable (7.63 > 1.70). Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition, Fabel

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of implementation PBL learning model toward writing slogan and poster skill eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 30 Padang. This research is quantitative research with quasi experiment method and used the one group pretest-postest design. The research population and sample was the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 30Padang in the academic year 2017/2018. The samplingtechnique usedispurposive sampling, the obtainable based on the sampling technique are VIII .2 class as sample of this research. The result of this research is there was a significant effect of the implementation of PBL learning model toward writing a report of observation skill eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 30 Padang by freedom degree (n1 + n2)-2 with significants rate 95% and tobservationisbiggerthanttabel thatis9,78>1,70. It means, PBL learning model was effective use in writing slogan and posterskill eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 30 Padang. Observe the benefit and effectiveness of PBL learning model, it proved that PBL learning model can use as reference and developing of inovation toward writing slogan and poster skill. Kata kunci: keterampilan menulis, model problem based learning, slogan dan poster
