Abstract

Abstract Technology in various fields continues to develop, especially in the world of education. Vocational education in terms of practice, requires concrete innovation to face the real world of work. In this period of technological development, skills in data processing and data Visualization are needed. With these skills, vocational school students can improve their employability and contribute to the success of business and industry. To complement and foster these skills, training in data processing and data visualization using the Python programming language was held. This training was held online through the LMS and offline at SMK PKP 1 Ciracas. This training was attended by SMK students with good enthusiasm as evidenced by the feedback given. And not a few students who want further training. Abstrak Teknologi dalam berbagai bidang terus mengalami perkembangan terutama dalam dunia pendidikan. Pendidikan kejuruan dalam hal praktik, membutuhkan inovasi secara nyata untuk menghadapi dunia pekerjaan yang sesungguhnya. Dalam masa perkembangan teknologi ini diperlukan keterampilan dalam pengolahan data dan visualisasi data. Dengan keterampilan tersebut siswa sekolah kejuruan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kerja mereka serta dapat berkontribusi pada keberhasilan bisnis dan industri. Untuk melengkapi serta menumbuhkan keterampilan tersebut, maka diadakan pelatihan mengolah data serta memvisualisasi data menggunakan Bahasa Pemrograman Python. Pelatihan ini diadakan secara daring melalui LMS dan secara luring yang bertempat di SMK PKP 1 Ciracas. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh siswa SMK dengan antusias yang baik dengan dibuktikan dengan feedback yang diberikan. Serta tak sedikit siswa yang ingin pelatihan secara lanjut.

Abstract

Abstrak Penggunaan game edukasi sebagai media pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan motivasi, keterlibatan, serta interaksi siswa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan game edukasi dapat menciptakan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan sehingga siswa merasa tidak terlalu terbebani dan lebih santai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang produk game edukasi pada materi gerak parabola. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development atau R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat dalam bidang pendidikan khususnya bagi guru Fisika sebagai inovasi penerapan game edukasi dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan peneliti, dengan mengumpulkan data melalui kuesioner kepada 31 orang siswa, menunjukkan bahwa siswa pernah memaikan game edukasi, sebanyak 74,2% siswa bosan mengerjakan soal latihan menggunakan buku, sebanyak 96,8% siswa tertarik untuk memainkan game sebagai media untuk mengerjakan soal latihan, sebanyak 100% siswa menganggap bahwa materi gerak parabola cocok untuk dibuatkan game sebagai media latihan, sebanyak 100% siswa setuju untuk dibuatkan pengembangan game edukasi sebagai media latihan pada materi gerak parabola. Kata-kata kunci: tuliskan kata-kata kunci tidak lebih dari satu baris. Abstract The use of educational games as learning media can increase student motivation, involvement, and interaction. Using an educational game approach can create fun learning so that students feel less burdened and more relaxed. This study aims to design educational game products on parabolic motion material. This research uses research and development (Research and Development or R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The results of this study are expected to be useful in the field of education, especially for Physics teachers as an innovation in the application of educational games in learning. Based on the results of a preliminary study conducted by researchers, by collecting data through questionnaires to 31 students, it shows that students have played educational games, as many as 74.2% of students are bored of doing practice questions using books, as many as 96.8% of students are interested in playing games. as a medium for working on practice questions, as many as 100% of students assumed that the parabolic motion material was suitable for making games as a training medium, as many as 100% of students agreed to develop educational games as a training medium on the parabolic motion material. Abstract

Abstrak Fisika merupakan ilmu pengetahuan yang mengkaji sifat, fenomena alam dan gejala-gejalanya sehingga lebih memerlukan pemahaman konsep pada proses penemuan dan penyajian data matematis, salah satunya adalah pada materi Gelombang. Tes diagnostik five-tier merupakan salah satu tes yang dapat digunakan untuk mendiagnosis pemahaman siswa. Dengan menggunakan teknologi komputer dan internet, guru dapat membuat tes diagnostik secara online. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan perangkat five-tier diagnostic test online yang layak digunakan sebagai media untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat pemahaman siswa pada materi gelombang di SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Produk yang dihasilkan merupakan media evaluasi pembelajaran berupa perangkat five-tier diagnostic test online materi gelombang mekanik, gelombang bunyi, dan gelombang cahaya yang dapat digunakan dengan bantuan komputer ataupun smartphone. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil uji validitas yang dilakukan pada butir soal sebesar 0,52 yang termasuk dalam kategori validitas sedang. Kata-kata kunci: pemahaman konsep, tes diagnostik, gelombang. Abstract Physics is a science that examines the nature, natural phenomena and their symptoms so that it requires more conceptual understanding in the process of discovering and presenting mathematical data, one of which is the material Waves. The five-tier diagnostic test is one of the tests that can be used to diagnose student understanding. By using computer and internet technology, teachers can make diagnostic tests online. The purpose of this research is to produce a five-tier online diagnostic test that is suitable for use as a medium to identify the level of students' understanding of wave material in high school. The method used in this research is research and development (Research and Development). The resulting product is a learning evaluation media in the form of a five-tier diagnostic test online on mechanical waves, sound waves, and light waves that can be used with the help of a computer or smartphone. The results of the research show the results of the validity test conducted on the items of 0.52 which are included in the category of moderate validity. Abstract

Textbook as the main medium of learning are required to meet the needs of the 21st century. Textbook must facilitate the formation of 21st century skills. The necessary skills are Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity. This article describes the results of research on the development of a physics textbook at kinematic concept with augmented reality technology-based media. The physics textbook of this research is aimed at practicing the 21st century skills of high school students. The research method used is research and development with a Dick and Carey approach. A physics textbook at kinematic concept has been produced with stages to practice in 21st century skills. The components presented are: video based on augmented reality technology, data tables, graphs, pictures, mathematical analysis, verbal analysis for each subtopic presented. Learning is based on four pillars of education, namely: learning to know, learning to do, learning to be, and learning how to live together. The stages in the structure of the book being developed are concept maps, preliminary knowledge tests, theory by providing competency tests in each sub-chapter, summary, reflection, chapter competency tests, and learning activities that contain 4C components in practicing 21st century skills keterampilan. The results of this research and development textbook physics at kinematic concept have been validated by physics material experts, learning experts and textbook media experts. The expert gives a very decent assessment for all aspects that are assessed.

Abstract

Abstract The integration of e-learning in the educational sector plays a pivotal role in enhancing learning effectiveness, particularly in the subject of static fluids. This study aims to create a blended learning-based e-learning design to help students better understand static fluid concepts. The research utilizes a research and development approach following the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation) and incorporates Moodle's activity analytics feature to monitor student engagement and learning progress. The developed design includes key elements such as interactive learning materials, collaborative activities through discussion forums, quizzes for assessment, and the use of activity analytics to track progress. This approach is expected to support the development of more adaptive features to accommodate students' individual learning needs. Abstrak Integrasi e-learning dalam dunia pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran, terutama pada materi fluida statis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang e-learning berbasis blended learning guna meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep fluida statis. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan berbasis model ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation) dengan memanfaatkan fitur activity analytics bawaan Moodle untuk memantau aktivitas dan kemajuan belajar siswa. Desain yang dikembangkan mencakup komponen utama seperti materi pembelajaran interaktif, aktivitas kolaboratif melalui forum diskusi, kuis untuk evaluasi, serta pemanfaatan fitur activity analytics dalam memantau progres belajar. Pendekatan ini diharapkan dapat mendorong pengembangan fitur yang lebih adaptif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan belajar individu siswa.

Abstract

This training emphasizes the implementation of the Project Based Learning model and Wiggle Bot as learning tools to enhance teacher engagement as training participants with knowledge about the STEM approach in modern education. In this training session, the teachers worked in groups to design and create a Wiggle Bot, which will then be integrated into the curriculum. After successfully making the Wiggle Bot, the teachers identified the STEM components present in it. This aims to enable teachers to create various STEM projects that align with the learning and concepts of the material taught in class, thereby capturing the students' attention and indirectly engaging them actively in classroom learning. The active involvement of teachers as participants indicates positive feedback from this training. This training not only enhances teachers' skills but also deepens their understanding of STEM concepts and approaches.

Abstract

STEM education is critical in current teaching because it combines science, technology, engineering, and mathematics into a unified learning experience. STEM education focuses on educating students for the changing profession by developing critical thinking and problem-solving abilities while also addressing gender inequalities in STEM disciplines. Robotics, an important component of STEM education, provides hands-on learning experiences that pique students' curiosity and practical application of STEM principles. To overcome the scarcity of talented individuals in STEM industries, educators must get STEM and robotics training. This publication describes a STEM-Robotics training program meant to help science instructors incorporate robotics into their teaching techniques. The program seeks to improve instructors' robotics education skills, create new teaching techniques, bridge theory and practice, and improve student engagement and learning results. By combining hands-on robotics activities into the curriculum, the program hopes to foster dynamic learning settings that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving abilities. This book describes the STEM-Robotics training program's rationale, organization, aims, and expected impact, emphasizing its importance in educating students for future employment in technology, engineering, and other STEM-related disciplines.

Abstract

This training on developing STEM-based teaching modules aims to equip science teachers with the knowledge and tools needed to create teaching materials, such as modules, that will be used in classroom learning. The development of modules is not only relevant to the curriculum but also capable of integrating STEM concepts. This STEM-based teaching module can enhance critical thinking skills and foster students' creativity to face the challenges of the 21st century. The method in this training session began with the presentation of material on STEM education, guidelines for module development, explanations of examples and types of teaching modules, and provided teachers with the opportunity to collaborate or discuss with the facilitators. Because the module that has been developed is expected to integrate STEM concepts into learning materials both in the classroom and during independent study.  Thus, in this training, it is hoped that it can have a positive impact on both teachers and students so that it can be implemented effectively in the classroom with a more interactive and innovative approach, thereby increasing students' interest in learning and enhancing their ability to solve complex problems.

Abstract

This article discusses a capacity-building initiative designed to empower science educators through a systematic training program that emphasises the development of STEM-oriented teaching modules. The program emphasised the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) into lesson plans to enhance students' problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking abilities. The module's primary components included problem conceptualisation, inquiry planning, experiment execution or engineering design, data analysis, and reflection. Educators were instructed to establish learning objectives aligned with STEM principles, develop authentic assessment instruments, and employ interdisciplinary approaches in their instruction. The training outcomes indicated that educators were more proficient in designing pertinent and engaging learning experiences. This initiative illustrates the significance of equipping educators with the necessary resources to effectively instruct STEM courses in alignment with the requirements of 21st-century learners.

Abstract

Abstract Doing questions is an important part of the learning process. Presenting practice questions accompanied by games is expected to provide fun learning conditions. This research focused on modifying the Snake and Ladder game as a question-training medium. The modified Snake and Ladder game will spawn questions when a player’s pawns touch the ladder’s feet or the snake’s tail. The player’s answer to the questions will put the player’s pawns closer or further towards the end square. This game is designed to have a positive impact on student learning motivation. Abstrak Latihan mengerjakan soal merupakan bagian yang penting dalam proses belajar mengajar. Menyajikan latihan soal disertai dengan permainan diharapkan dapat memberikan kondisi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada modifikasi permainan Ular Tangga sebagai media latihan soal. Modifikasi Ular Tangga akan memunculkan soal saat pion pemain menyentuh kaki tangga atau ekor ular. Jawaban pemain terhadap soal akan mendekatkan atau menjauhkan pion pemain dari kotak terakhir. Permainan ini dirancang untuk memberikan berdampak positif pada motivasi belajar siswa.
