Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil penilaian dari teknik pewarnaan tie dye dengan media pelarutan panas dan dingin berdasarkan estetika warna, bentuk, serta motif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelitian eksperimen one shot case study. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan kuisioner tertutup yang diberikan kepada lima orang panelis ahli sebagai subjek penelitian. Dari hasil penilaian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa masih terdapat hasil pewarnaan tie dye menggunakan media pelarutan panas dan dingin yang belum memenuhi kriteria penilaian estetika warna, bentuk, serta motif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk penilaian kelayakan bahan pembelajaran berbentuk modul dengan materi bahan busana pengantin dalam mata kuliah busana wanita 3. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Pre-Experimental dengan desain One-Shot Case Study. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan Kuantitatif Deskriptif. Menggunakan variabel tunggal yaitu variabel bahan ajar modul Busana Wanita 3 Materi Bahan Busana Pengantin. Penelitian ini menggunakan indikator penilaian bahan ajar dengan aspek materi, aspek penyajian, dan kebahasaan, dan berdasarkan 5 karakteristik modul yaitu pembelajaran diri (self-instruction), satu kesatuan (self-contained), berdiri sendiri (stand alone), menyesuaikan diri (adaptive), dan mudah digunakan (user friendly). Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa modul pembelajaran Busana Wanita 3 Materi Bahan Busana Pengantin dengan memperoleh persentase rata-rata 82,5% sebagai bahan ajar modul. Penilaian berdasarkan nilai tertinggi aspek bahan ajar, pada aspek materi dengan persentase 80% karena aspek materi modul Busana Wanita 3 tersusun sistematis sesuai dengan acuan Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS). Aspek media dengan penilaian tertinggi didapatkan pada aspek User Friendly dengan persentase 94% , karena aspek media disusun dengan bahasa yang komunikatif sehingga bagi pengguna mudah dipahami. Penilaian berdasarkan nilai terendah dalam aspek bahan ajar, pada aspek kebahasan dengan persentase 75%. Nilai terendah pada aspek media terdapat pada aspek satu kesatuan (Self Contained), persentase 75%.

Abstract

This study aims to create e-module in men's shirt collar material and to conduct the feasibility evaluation of e-module learning media in men's shirt collar material. The research evaluation was carried out by a panel of material and media experts. The research methodology used pre-experimental (one-shot case study). Research created e-module learning media that combines component such as layout, texts, audio, images, and videos using the Flip PDF Professional application assisted by CorelDRAW and Adobe Premiere Pro. E-module learning media in this men's shirt collar material has been declared very feasible based on aspects of content feasibility, linguistic aspects, presentation aspects, graphic aspects, software engineering aspects, visual communication aspects, stand alone aspects, and adaptive aspects. The results obtained for the assessment of learning media for material aspects are 88.04%, and media aspects are 82.4%, so in general the e-module learning media for men’s shirt collar material has been declared very feasible. So that e-module learning media that the researchers arranged can be used as a learning media and students can study independently.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an assessment of children's jacket products using batik pemalang cloth with grombyang motif with smock technique decoration based on aspects of product quality, design elements and design principles. This research method uses quantitative descriptive. This study produced 5 children's jacket products with smock technique decorations which were assessed by 5 panelists with instrument data collection techniques using mixed questionnaires. The research instrument consisted of 21 statements and 2 questions. This rating is measured using a rating scale. The assessment was carried out using product quality theory according to W. H. Mayall and design element theory and design principles according to Wolfe. Based on the product quality aspect which consists of sub-aspects of maximum results, attractive appearance, and diverse shapes get a score of 90.1%. Furthermore, the aspect of design elements consisting of texture and color sub-aspects received a score of 85.4%. Then the aspect of design principles consisting of the sub-aspects of balance, harmony, and proportion received a score of 93.4%. In the emphasis sub-aspect, overall, the emphasis on the entire design lies in the smock. The product with the highest final assessment result in design 2 obtained a score of 92.3% and the lowest final assessment result in design 3 obtained a score of 88.3%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between employee self- control behavior and the purchase decision of fast fashion products. This research method uses a survey method with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 100 respondents using a purposive sampling technique with questionnaires distributed online. Data analysis technique uses Pearson Correlation. The results of this study indicate that the categorization data on employee self-control behavior variables have high self-control (87%); the purchase decision variable shows that employees have a good fast fashion product purchase decision (100%) with no bad category; and after the Pearson Correlation test was carried out, the data results obtained a correlation coefficient value of 0.274 > 0.05 (H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected) In the result of the Pearson Correlation it was found that there was no relationship between employee self-control behavior and the decision to purchase fast fashion products. The level of correlation in this study is very low because the correlation coefficient is 0.110.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills are important skills that students must possess in order to face the challenges of 21st century learning. However, initial observations show that students' creative thinking skills, especially in mathematics learning, are still relatively low. This study aims to enhance students' creative thinking skills through the implementation of the Synectic’s learning model in Grade VII of SMP Negeri 13 Banda Aceh. The study employs a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The study population consists of all Grade VII students at SMP Negeri 13 Banda Aceh, with a sample of one class, Grade VII-2, randomly selected from five parallel classes. Data were collected through a creative thinking ability test and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The test results showed that the W value was 276 and the critical value was 73, so 276 > 73. This indicates a significant improvement in students' creative thinking abilities after the implementation of the Synectic’s learning model. These findings suggest that the Synectic’s model is effective in stimulating students to think fluently, flexibly, and originally through the use of analogies in the learning process. The implications of this study are that the Synectic’s learning model can be used as an alternative learning strategy capable of fostering the development of students' creative thinking skills at the junior high school level.

Abstract

Diarrhea is an atypical state of the digestive system characterized by a soft or watery texture in bowel movements. Antibiotic-related diarrhea is common in the elderly due to extensive antibiotic use. Probiotics are vital microorganisms that support the intestinal flora and reduce bacterial colonization in the intestinal wall. This study aimed to assess the effectiveness, type, and dose of probiotics for diarrhea in the elderly. A systematic review with meta-analysis was conducted using PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. Seven records with a total of 2,087 participants were included. A quantitative analysis was carried out using Review Manager version 5 software. A meta-analysis was conducted to assess the frequency of diarrhea. The results showed that using probiotics significantly reduced the risk of antibiotic-related diarrhea 0.53 times compared to the placebo administration (OR 0.53; CI 95% 0.29 to 0.98; I2 = 70%). The type of probiotics frequently given was the genera of Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium, and Streptococcus, with consumption durations varying from 3 days to a maximum of 4 weeks. The dose of probiotics ranged from a minimum of 1.0 × 10⁶ CFU to a maximum dose of 2 × 10¹⁰ CFU. To conclude, probiotic administration is more effective than placebo in reducing the risk of antibiotic-related diarrhea in the elderly.

Abstract

The floriculture industries depend on market and consumer preferences which dynamically change. Innovation to create new varieties is one of the solutions. The breeding program enhances genetic variation and new varieties. One of the methods was conventional cross breeding. The research objective was to characterize and select the potential clones in the F1 population of crossing anthurium cv. Midori × Angel. Anthurium Midori as female parent and Anthurium cv. Angel as male parent. The individual selection method was used to select the F1 population of Anthurium cv. Midori × Angel. The observation parameters were spathe length (cm), spadix length and width (cm), total number of leaves, total number of shoots, total number of flowers, inflorescent length (cm), and plant height (cm). There were 26 individual offspring from the crossing Anthurium cv. Midori × Angel. Most of the offspring inherited from both the combination of Midori and Angel. They were greenish white. Green was from Midori and white was from Angel. MA-16 and MA-27 were selected as potential clones to be registered as new varieties. The character of these clones was green spathe inherited from Midori as female parent. Keywords: Clone, Leaf color, Leaf shape, Offspring, Varieties.

Abstract

Fakultas Teknik menyelenggarakan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat di Wilayah binaan fakultas yaitu di Kecamatan Muaragembong, Kabupaten Bekasi. Tujuan dari dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu untuk mendukung kehidupan masyarakat secara mandiri dan berkelanjutan. Masyarakat kecamatan Muaragembong pada kegiatan ini di bina untuk dapat hidup mandiri dalam meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga dengan pelatihan yang diadakan secara rutin setiap tahunnya dengan tema pelatihan yang berbedabeda setiap tahun namun tetap berlanjut. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini menerapkan metode 4D yaitu dengan analisis, design, development, dan implementasi. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan mengimplementasikan setiap bidang program studi yang ada di Fakultas Teknik, salah satu kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan oleh program studi Desain Mode FT UNJ yaitu pelatihan penggunaan kain sebagai busana sustainable fashion dengan teknik draping. Pelatihan ini mengajarkan Masyarakat terutama usia remaja dan ibu-ibu untuk dapat menggunakan pakaian yang dibuat dari modifikasi penggunaan kain ataupun hijab tanpa harus dipotong dan dijahit sehingga Masyarakat dapat mengurangi beban pengeluaran untuk membeli pakaian namun tetap fashionable. Diharapkan pelatihan ini dapat mengurangi pengeluaran dalam pembelian busana secara terus menerus sehingga dapat mendukung program sustainable fashion dengan memanfaatkan kain atau kerudung yang tersedia di rumah.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika tidak hanya sekedar pembelajaran untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berhitung tetapi pembelajaran yang mengembangkan kemampuan berfikir matematika secara logis, sesuai dengan konsep matematika yang sistematis dengan melibatkan lingkungan siswa. Keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan kemampuan komunikasi merupakan dua aspek kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik disamping keterampilan afektif.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis masalah (problem-based learning) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pre-test dan post-test. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 50 siswa SMA. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengadakan pre-test dan post-test serta pemberian angket. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan rubrik berpikir kreatif dan komunikasi matematis, kemudian diolah lebih lanjut dengan uji statistik. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan komunikasi matematis siswa lebih baik daripada pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menunjukkanbahwa strategi pembelajaran memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan kreativitas dan komunikasi matematis siswa.
