Abstract

Abstract: Basua Coffee is a culinary business facing challenges in managing sales and inventory, which are still done manually. This results in data discrepancies between recorded stock levels and actual conditions, delays in sales reporting, and potential transaction recording errors. The purpose of this study is to design and build a web-based sales and inventory information system that can improve operational efficiency and data accuracy at Basua Coffee. The research method used is a software engineering method with a waterfall approach, including the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. System analysis was carried out using UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling, while system testing was carried out using the black box testing method. The results of this study indicate that the designed information system is able to automatically record sales transactions, monitor inventory in real-time, and produce accurate sales and stock reports. Thus, this system can assist management in making faster and more accurate decisions.Keyword: basua coffe; inventory; information system; sales. Abstract : Basua Coffee merupakan sebuah usaha kuliner yang menghadapi tantangan dalam mengelola penjualan dan inventaris yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Hal ini menyebabkan terjadinya ketidaksesuaian data antara tingkat stok yang tercatat dengan kondisi aktual, keterlambatan pelaporan penjualan, dan potensi kesalahan pencatatan transaksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang dan membangun sistem informasi penjualan dan inventaris berbasis web yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan akurasi data di Basua Coffee. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode rekayasa perangkat lunak dengan pendekatan waterfall, meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis sistem dilakukan dengan pemodelan UML (Unified Modeling Language), sedangkan pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan metode pengujian black box. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi yang dirancang mampu mencatat transaksi penjualan secara otomatis, memantau inventaris secara real-time, dan menghasilkan laporan penjualan dan stok yang akurat. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dapat membantu manajemen dalam mengambil keputusan yang lebih cepat dan akurat.Keywords: basua coffe; inventaris; penjualan; sistem informasi.

Abstract

PKM ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan penggunaan Gamma AI bagi guru SMK Swasta Al Aziz, dan menyelenggarakan workshop bagi guru untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar dan media pembelajaran interaktif dengan memanfaatkan Gamma AI. Sasaran kegiatan adalah 30 orang guru SMK Swasta Al Aziz Kabupaten Labuhanbatu yang dipilih berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan di lapangan. Program dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Sosialisasi dilakukan untuk menjelaskan tujuan, manfaat, serta mengukur kemampuan awal guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi berbasis kecerdasan buatan. Hasil pre-assessment menunjukkan bahwa 80% guru belum pernah menggunakan Gamma AI. Tahap inti berupa pelatihan dan workshop dilaksanakan dengan metode partisipatif dan praktik langsung. Guru dibimbing membuat akun, mengenal fitur utama, serta menghasilkan bahan ajar digital sesuai bidang mata pelajaran masing-masing. Produk yang dihasilkan beragam, mulai dari presentasi matematika hingga materi kejuruan bisnis daring. Evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan guru, ditandai dengan rata-rata skor pre-test 45 yang meningkat menjadi 82 pada post-test. Selain itu, 26 dari 30 produk presentasi masuk kategori baik, sedangkan sisanya cukup baik. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga menumbuhkan kepercayaan diri guru dalam berinovasi serta mendorong kolaborasi antar peserta. Hasil PKM menunjukkan bahwa Gamma AI dapat menjadi solusi praktis dalam pembuatan bahan ajar digital, sekaligus mendukung transformasi pendidikan di era industri 4.0. Ke depan, kegiatan serupa perlu diperluas ke sekolah lain untuk memperkuat ekosistem literasi digital di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu.

Abstract

The main problem often faced by barbershop businesses is the manual booking process, such as through phone calls or direct visits. This leads to long queues, scheduling errors, and inefficiency in customer data management. This study aims to design and develop a web-based barbershop booking information system that facilitates customers in making reservations and assists barbershop staff in managing service schedules effectively. The software development method used is the Waterfall model, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The analysis technique used is PIECES, aimed at identifying weaknesses in the old system and formulating the needs of the new system. The result of this study is a web-based booking information system that provides features such as user registration, service and barber selection based on time, schedule management, and automatic notifications. Black Box testing showed that all system functions work as expected. The system successfully reduced queues by up to 70% during a three-day operational simulation and improved service efficiency at the barbershop.

Abstract

Improving critical thinking skills is one of the main goals of 21st century education, especially at the elementary school level. This ability is important to help students analyze problems, find solutions, and make decisions logically. However, initial observations showed that fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Jatimulyo still had difficulty in developing this ability, especially in mathematics subjects that require an understanding of abstract concepts. Therefore, innovation in learning models is needed to support the improvement of students' critical thinking skills. One approach that can be used is a problem-based learning model that involves teaching aids, such as a geoboard. A geoboard is a simple but effective teaching aid that can help students understand geometric concepts through exploration and visualization activities. The use of this tool is expected to not only increase students' interest in learning but also hone their critical thinking skills in an interactive and fun way. This study was conducted to examine the effectiveness of this approach in improving students' critical thinking skills.
