Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive e-module for English Structure course to support digital learning in the English Study Program, Universitas Riau, Indonesia. The research used a Research and Development (R&D) approach and applied the ADDIE model consisting of five stages; analyse, design, development, implement and evaluate. The products developed were animated videos and interactive quizzes integrated into an electronic module using the Flipbook maker application. The e-module consists of three chapters with several sections in each chapter: video based explanation, text based description, example, interactive quizzes, and chapter summary. The results of the validations of media expert and material expert of the animated videos are 3.55 (very valid) while the interactive quizzes got an average score of 3.85 (very valid). Then, for the validations of the e-module, it go an average score of 3.96 (very valid) and 3.23 (valid) from the material expert and the media expert, respectively. On the whole, the average score of the validations is 3.60 (very valid). The e-module has been implemented to a group of students (n=20). The students’ responses show that the e-module has a very good category (3.75 for the attractiveness aspect and 3.61 for the convenience aspect). Therefore, it can be concluded that the e-module has a very good quality, both in terms of its materials and media, and is eligible to be utilized as a digital learning resource for Pre-Intermediate Structure course in the English department of Universitas Riau, Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan bertujuan untuk mengetahui Perbandingan Kualitas Air Fisika dan Kimia di Danau Regei Kecamatan Bukit Batu dan Danau Tundai Kecamatan Sebangau Kota Palangka Raya, dengan pengukuran parameter fisika seperti: suhu, kecerahan, kedalaman, TDS (Total Dissolved Solid), TSS (Total Suspended Solid), warna dan parameter kimia seperti: pH (Derajat Keasaman), DO (Oksigen Terlarut), nitrat (NO3), fosfat (PO4), BOD (Biologycal Oxygen Demand), COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di dua Danau, yaitu Danau Regei Kecamatan Bukit Batu dan Danau Tundai Kecamatan Sebangau, Kota Palangka Raya, Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah dan dilakukan pada bulan Juli-Agustus 2022. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis sidik ragam ( ANOVA ) satu arah. Bila hasil analisis berpengaruh dilanjutkan denga uji BNJ 5% untuk melihat perbedaan kualitas air Danau Regei dan Danau Tundai. Hasil Anova menunjukkan F hitung < F tabel, maka H0 (diterima) dan H1 (ditolak) yang berarti tidak terdapat perbedaan kualitas air Danau Regei dan Danau Tundai. Nilai kualitas air yang diperoleh masih kategori cukup baik untuk kehidupan organisme dan biota perairan.Menurut standar baku mutu air PP No.22 Tahun 2021 kualitas air Danau Regei dan Danau Tundai telah memenuhi standar baku mutu yang ditetapkan.

Abstract

Facts show that nowadays agricultural land tends to be narrower than residential land, both in urban and rural areas. This is what causes the lack of available land that can be used for farming activities, one of which is to produce vegetables or plants that are even easy to grow. One solution that can be done to overcome the urgency of the lack of land availability is urban farming. Urban Farming Verticulture technique is an agricultural and plantation activity carried out using only a small area of ​​land. And it is considered more effective and efficient. Therefore, ongoing educational activities are needed for the community about the benefits of urban farming using verticulture techniques through outreach methods and community assistance. The location of community service activities is carried out at Buana Green Housing, RT 60 RW 12, Soklat Village, Subang Regency. This service activity will take place from July 2023 to November 2023. We hope that by optimizing the urban farming extension and service methods, the housing community will be able to carry out minimalist farming and plantation activities to produce quality vegetables or plants, even though they only rely on a small amount of land in the area. residential yard or terrace. The results obtained from implementing this activity are increasing knowledge and implementation of velticultural cultivation in the Buana Green Housing community RT 60 RW 12 Soklat Subdistrict, Subang Regency.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop an interactive e-module based on multimodal text for the Intermediate English Structure course in supporting digital learning at Universitas Riau, Indonesia. The research followed a systematic Research and Development (R&D) approach and applied the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model, which integrated the initial research techniques with final evaluation methods to ensure the effectiveness of the e-module. This study utilized purposive sampling techniques which involved 42 students and experts in media and materials. The development started with a thorough analysis of students’ needs, obtaining a score of 3.05 which indicated high necessity. The subsequent step involved designing the desired product, which is an interactive e-module containing multimodal texts, that is, various types of texts which include written texts, images, animated videos and interactive quizzes. The e-module consists of six units; each containing sections such as video-based explanation, text-based descriptions, illustrative examples, interactive quizzes, and chapter summaries. Validation of the e-module was carried out by material and media experts, resulting in scores of 3.73 (indicating very valid) and 3.77 (indicating very valid) respectively. Then, when tested to students, the results revealed a 'clarity of language use in the learning material' indicator is 3.57 (indicating very good), while the 'ease of use' indicator stands at 3.60 (indicating very good). Thus, these results suggest that the developed e-module exhibits excellent quality and is well-suited to serve as a digital learning resource for the Intermediate Structure course in the English department at Universitas Riau, Indonesia. Furthermore, this e-module also has the potential to transform how students learn. With combination of different types of content, the researchers have created a tool that can set a new standard for digital learning at Universitas Riau and beyond.

Abstract

Pijatan bayi merupakan sarana untuk mengungkapkan kasih sayang dan mengoptimalkan tumbuh kembang bayi. Meskipun banyak literatur yang menyebutkan manfaat pijat bayi, namun tidak semua orang tua memiliki pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan yang memadai tentang pijat bayi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektifitas pendidikan kesehatan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan ibu tentang pijat bayi di Poskesdes Talang Persatuan pada bulan Januari 2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental dengan design One Group with Pretest-Posttest. Sampel penelitian bayi berusia 0-6 bulan berjumlah 30 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan dalam dua tahap, sebelum dan setelah intervensi pendidikan kesehatan dengan menggunakan tiga instrumen yaitu pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan ibu tentang pijat bayi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Uji Paired Sample T-test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan ibu dalam pijat bayi setelah diberikan intervensi pendidikan kesehatan pada nilai posttest dengan rata-rata tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 31,71% sehingga disimpulkan bahwa intervensi pendidikan kesehatan efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan ibu dalam pijat bayi di Poskesdes Talang Persatuan.

Abstract

The emergence of technology in the era of globalization has changed all areas of life, including education. Education will experience changes following current developments so as not to be left behind. One step in dealing with technological developments is to update the curriculum. Curriculum changes that often change from time to time have an impact on the way learning takes place in schools. The curriculum provides guidance for teachers to design learning activities that are in accordance with the needs and demands of the times. Curriculum changes are made to update or improve the quality of education. By updating lesson materials or adding the latest content that is relevant to the current era. The role of a teacher is needed in implementing the current curriculum, namely the independent curriculum. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of teachers in implementing the independent curriculum in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature review study, namely collecting data from journals or articles that are relevant to the topic. The results of this study are that teachers play an important role in implementing the independent curriculum in learning that provides various benefits to students and improves the quality of education

Abstract

Improving critical thinking skills is one of the main goals of 21st century education, especially at the elementary school level. This ability is important to help students analyze problems, find solutions, and make decisions logically. However, initial observations showed that fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Jatimulyo still had difficulty in developing this ability, especially in mathematics subjects that require an understanding of abstract concepts. Therefore, innovation in learning models is needed to support the improvement of students' critical thinking skills. One approach that can be used is a problem-based learning model that involves teaching aids, such as a geoboard. A geoboard is a simple but effective teaching aid that can help students understand geometric concepts through exploration and visualization activities. The use of this tool is expected to not only increase students' interest in learning but also hone their critical thinking skills in an interactive and fun way. This study was conducted to examine the effectiveness of this approach in improving students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Tujuan pendidikan anak usia dini adalah mempersiapkan anak untuk menempuh jenjang pendidikan berikutnya. Penelitian ini meneliti peran kecerdasan buatan (AI) sebagai media pembelajaran dalam pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD), yang memiliki signifikansi dalam membangun dasar perkembangan anak secara menyeluruh. sesuai perkembangan pesat pada aspek fisik, kognitif, sosial-emosional, bahasa, serta moral anak, studi ini meneliti pemanfaatan kecerdasan sintesis (AI) buat membangun lingkungan belajar yg adaptif, interaktif, serta responsif terhadap kebutuhan individual anak. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode analisis naratif dengan pendekatan kualitatif terhadap berbagai artikel ilmiah, serta melibatkan pandangan asal pengajar, orang tua, serta anak-anak di lingkungan pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa AI efektif dalam menyediakan pembelajaran personal, yang memungkinkan pengaturan tingkat kesulitan dan konten sesuai kebutuhan anak, mendukung keterampilan sosial dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Media seperti Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) dalam proses pembelajaran mencakup berbagai bentuk yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menyampaikan informasi atau materi ajar, serta berperan dalam merangsang pemikiran, perasaan, perhatian, dan kompetensi siswa dalam rangka mendukung proses pembelajaran yang dipandu oleh pengajar. Dengan demikian, penggunaan animasi atau media lainnya sebagai sarana pembelajaran dapat memberikan manfaat dalam cara pengajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru.

Abstract

Keterampilan dasar dalam memahami ajaran agama Islam yang perlu dikuasai siswa salah satunya yaitu kemampuan dalam membaca dan menulis quran. Pembelajaran yang mendorong siswa menguasai kemampuan Baca Tulis Quran perlu diupayakan dengan baik. Tujuan Penelitian untuk meningkat motivasi belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media audio visual pada mata pelajaran Baca Tulis Qur’an (BTQ) di Kelas VII SMP Ummul Quran An Nuur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas, dilakukan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh observer saat kegiatan tindakan berlangsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa meningkat dengan digunakannya media audio visual, siswa lebih banyak terlibat dan berinteraksi dalam pembelajaran dan memudahkan dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan penelitian ini maka mengajar baca tulis quran dengan berbantuan media audio visual akan dapat mempermudah siswa menguasai pembelajaran dan meningkatkan motivasi dalam belajar.

Abstract

Kapasitas sumber daya manusia aparatur desa menjadi faktor kunci dalam mewujudkan tata kelola pemerintahan desa yang efektif dan akuntabel. Namun, masih banyak aparatur desa yang belum memiliki pemahaman memadai mengenai manajemen SDM berbasis kompetensi. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas aparatur Desa Tanjung Siram melalui pelatihan manajemen SDM berbasis kompetensi. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tiga tahapan utama, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Sosialisasi dilakukan untuk membangun pemahaman awal dan komitmen bersama, pelatihan difokuskan pada penguatan konsep kompetensi, penyusunan indikator kinerja, dan perencanaan program kerja desa berbasis kebutuhan dan potensi lokal, sementara evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test, post-test, observasi, dan refleksi partisipatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta terhadap pentingnya kompetensi dalam mendukung kinerja organisasi desa. Aparatur desa berhasil menyusun draft pedoman penilaian kinerja, serta merancang program kerja yang lebih sistematis dan berbasis pada pemetaan potensi SDM. Selain itu, pendekatan partisipatif dalam pelatihan mendorong keterlibatan aktif peserta, yang berdampak pada peningkatan rasa kepemilikan terhadap hasil kegiatan. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan manajemen SDM berbasis kompetensi dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam memperkuat kapasitas dan tata kelola pemerintahan desa. Ke depan, model pelatihan ini dapat direplikasi di desa lain sebagai upaya pembangunan kelembagaan yang berkelanjutan.
