Abstract

There are various factors that become obstacles to the development of renewable energy technology, which are the low knowledge of renewable energy and the low level 21st century skills of people. Therefore, it is very necessary to design a learning that is able to increase knowledge about renewable energy and improve 21st century skills simultaneously. This study aimed to design programs of environmental physics lectures about OWC as a renewable energy source. This research was a developmental research with stages of analysis, design, and development. The products in this study were a test instruments to measure creative thinking skills, OWC converters prototype and project-based lecture programs implementation plans that are oriented towards providing creative thinking skills through a combination of lectures in the classroom, laboratory, and marine environment. All products were validated by 5 experts. In addition beside validation of experts, the creative thinking test instrument was tested on 17 students who had taken environmental physics lectures, while the prototype was tested by a marine engineering laboratory at a university in Bandung. Experts’ validity data were analyzed using content validity ratio, while the test instrument data were calculated for reliability, validity, discrimination and difficulty levels. Based on the results of expert validation, all products are feasible to be implemented. Based on the test results that the prototype developed functions well, while for the test instrument of 10 questions developed only 8 questions were eligible to be used. All of product that produced can be used as a reference and reference for lecturers or teachers who develop learning about renewable energy as well as equip students with creative thinking skills.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop an e-book for physics teachers based on multimode representation and Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK)Thus, it was expected to improve pedagogical, professional, and ICT literacy competencies have been carried out. This research employed Educational Research and Development (R&D) by Borg and Gall, but the steps were limited only to the initial product revision. The instrument used was a questionnaire to evaluate the quality and understanding of the e-book. This study involved five expert validators in pedagogy, IT, and physics content. After the e-book draft was validated and revised, it was tested on a limited basis to 16 in-service physics teachers and eight pre-service teachers. The development eligibility of the e-book for physics teachers was seen from the results of the quality and readability tests of the content. The results of the expert validation regarding the quality of the developed e-book are in the excellent category with an average percentage of 88%. The test results show that the average percentage of physics teachers’ e-book understanding is 80.3%. The test results conclude that the multimode and TPACK-based e-books developed for high school physics teachers are feasible to apply. However, it should be tested more extensively before being used further in the learning process.

Abstract

Communication in science is multimodal (verbal and visual). Representation skills are one of the communication skills in science. A physics teacher is required to have representation skills so that the students more easily to acsess the concept that they have to lean and the teacher  communicate physics concepts more easily to his students. This study examines the representation skills of preservice physics teacher. Three aspects of representation skills, that examined are: 1) the skill of making a single mode representation, 2) the skills of translation between representation modes and 3) multi-representation skills. The instrument used to measure representation skills has been validated and used to measure representation skills of preservice physics teacher in Listrik-Magnet courses. The results showed that the preservive physics student have difficulty in making all of the aspect of representation. It is occured because there has never been learning related to representation or assessment skills that specifically test their representation skills

Abstract

Senyawa kompleks dari kadmium nitrat dan dppp belum pernah dilaporkan. Tujuan penelitian adalah mensintesis senyawa kompleks dari kadmium nitrat dan dppp dengan stoikiometri 1 : 1 serta menentukan strukturnya sesuai hasil karakterisasi. Senyawa kompleks hasil sintesis berupa kristal tidak berwarna, berbentuk balok, dan melebur pada suhu 272-275 oC. Hasil pengukuran DHL dan uji kualitatif ion nitrat menunjukkan bahwa kompleks merupakan senyawa molekuler. Analisis EDX memberikan rumus empiris yaitu C27H26CdN2O6P2. Struktur yang diterima yaitu kompleks monomer [Cd(ONO2)2(dppp)] dengan geometri tetrahedral terdistorsi di sekitar atom pusatnya dan energi bebas per ikatan sebesar -47,5 kJ/mol.

Abstract

Bactrocera dorsalis is a very harmful pest for fruit and vegetable. Chemicalcontrol of these pests has raised another problem. The use of surian leaf extractcan be a good and environmentally friendly alternative control. This study aims to determine the effect of the administration of vegetable pesticides from suren leaf extract in the control of B. dorsalis on red chili. This research had been carried out at Siliwangi University and BBPOPT, Karawang in July to August 2019. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with six replications. The concentration of suren leaf extract were : 0%, 0.025%, 0.05%, and 0.1%. The results showed that chili fruit extracts with the highest 0.1% consistently could reduce the number of larvae and the number of fruit attacked. The maincompounds contained in the surian leaf extract include 9,12-Octadecadienoic acid (Z, Z) -, phytol, acetate, phenol, 2-methyl-5- (1,2,2-trimethylcyclopentyl) -, (S) -, Cedren-13-ol, 8-, and 3,7,11,15-Tetramethyl-2-. These compounds were thought to be strong compounds that play a role in suppressing the number of larvae and the number of fruit attacked.

Abstract

Oyster mushroom growing media generally in the form of sawdust. The sawdust contains high levels of cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin so that the C/N ratio is high. Mixing with manure and composting are one way to improve the quality of compost. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of oyster mushroom waste combined with fermentation time on lettuce growth. The research method used a randomized block design with treatment namely A=oyster mushroom media waste 100% fermented 20 days, B=oyster mushroom waste 100% fermented 25 days C=75% oyster mushroom waste+25% goat manure fermented 20 days, D=75% oyster mushroom waste+25% goat manure fermented 25 days, E=50% oyster mushroom waste+50% goat manure fermented 20 days, F=50% oyster mushroom waste+50% goat manure fermented 25 days, G=25% oyster mushroom waste+75% goat manure fermented 20 days, H=25% oyster mushroom waste+75% goat manure fermented 25 days each treatment was repeated four times. Parameter observed were leaf area, number of leaves, net assimilation rate, root and wet weight ratio per plant. The results showed that a combination of compost consisting of 25% mushroom waste+75% goat manure both fermented 20 days and 25 days had a good influence on leaf area, leaf number, root fission ratio and weight of wet stover per lettuce plant. Keywords: Compost, Fermentation, Lettuce, Organic fertilizer

Abstract

The selection of the best Teachers on an ongoing basis is very important to determine active and accomplished teachers, as well as for evaluation materials and improving the quality of teachers. In the selection of the best teachers in SMK XYZ still manually and do not use standard reference criteria, resulting in a standard reference in providing an unclear assessment. In addition, in the absence of a standard ranking method or calculation the results are inconsistent. To make judgments that are consistent and objective, they must use reference criteria and methods for standard alternative ranking. Researchers in data collection through observation, interviews, documentation, literature studies and questionnaires. Researchers use the Exponential Comparison Method (MPE) for alternative calculation or ranking algorithms. Based on the results of the measurement of the level of Accuracy with the confusion metrix technique on the selection of the best teacher, a level of accuracy of 100% is obtained and based on the results of testing of the system that has been created using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model, a value of 91.76% is obtained. , so that the system that has been built is feasible to use. The system created can support speeding up in making decisions, can reduce human error and be objective with reference to criteria and standard weights.

Abstract

LGBT phenomenon into a "hot issue" in the international and national levels. LGBT phenomenon in Indonesia would result in the pros and cons of the community. Various groups of people, mainly from religious groups opposed to the existence of the phenomenon. On the other hand, there are also groups that support the LGBT community in Indonesia, the main actors and human rights activists (Human Rights). Most LGBT people found contrary to the noble values of Pancasila, but on the other hand assumes that actors LGBT community is not sexual deviation, and shall have the rights and equality. It is thus necessary to do a study to determine the response of the people of Indonesia respond to the phenomenon of LGBT specifically in this case the younger generation, as well as to determine whether or not the phenomenon of LGBT contrary to the basic values of Pancasila as the State Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of self efficacy, tolerance of risk, freedom in work, need for achievement, and readiness to desire instrumentation Gunadarma University students to be entrepreneurs. Type of data used is the primary data. The research method used was survey by an inductive analysis approach to look ways  that  generally used  in  examining the  factors  that  influence the  willingness  of students to become entrepreneurs. Methods of collecting data is using a questionnaire with 100 people as respondents. The sampling technique used was simple random technique (Random Sampling Method). Data were processed and analyzed using SPSS application assistance. Analysis tools used in this study is to test the validity, reliability, multiple regression liniear, pearson correlation, and independent sample t test. These results indicate that the variable of self success, Freedom in Works, and the Necessity of achievement which is a dominant variable in influencing the desire of Semarang University Students to become an entrepreneur.

Abstract

Kendaraan roda dua sangat mendominasi mode angkutan di JABODETABEK, dalam satu hari di perkirakan lebih dari 1 juta sepeda motor hilir mudik di daerah JABODETABEK. Dari hari ke hari peningkatan jumlah kendaraan roda dua sangat signifikan sekali, di karenakan mode angkutan ini terbilang sangat murah dan memiliki fleksibelitas yang tinggi. Seiring peningkatan jumlah sepeda motor tersebut, keperluan onderdil dan perawatan serta perbaikan kendaraan roda dua juga ikut meningkat. Salah satu layanan perbaikan kendaraan roda dua yang sangat di butuhkan adalah pengepresan.Baik pengepresan full body, segitiga, velg bahkan pengepressan cakram disk sepeda motor sangat di perlukan oleh masyarakat. Dengan kondisi jalan dan jumlah kendaraan yang tidak sebanding dengan kemampuan daya tampung jalan serta factor human error kecelakaan sepeda motor turut meningkat pula. Sering kali bengkel pengepresan sepeda motor kebanjiran order, sehingga membuat teknisi kerepotan dan kelelahan karena harus benar-benar melihat dengan teliti media yang akan di press tersebut, yang berakibat menurunnya kualitas hasil pengepresan.Untuk membantu mengatasi hal ini, dibuatlah alat yang dapat membantu proses pekerjaan pengepresan tersebut.
