Abstract

This study aims to design and develop an automatic fish feeding system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) that can be applied in former tin mining pits in Bangka Belitung. The system is expected to improve feeding efficiency and reduce dependence on manual labor. The research method includes hardware design using a NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller, a servo motor as the feed dispensing actuator, and an RTC module as the time controller. The system is equipped with a web-based IoT application for remote control and monitoring. Testing was carried out at a fish farming site located in a former mining pond, with observations on feeding schedule accuracy, feed throwing distance, and feed usage efficiency. The results showed that the system achieved 100% accuracy in feed timing based on RTC sensor readings. Feed output during multiple feeder motor rotations was stable, with an error rate of less than 1%. The pellet throwing distance at 90% motor speed reached a maximum of 6.6 meters and a minimum of 2.4 meters.The system can also be controlled remotely via the web, allowing users to schedule feeding times and monitor device status in real time from a smartphone or computer. This system has proven to be effective and feasible for freshwater fish farming in post-mining areas, supporting sustainable aquaculture development.

Abstract

A just energy transition requires not only technological shifts toward clean energy but also social inclusion and fairness in the world of work. Trade unions play a dual role—protecting workers while shaping energy policy and advancing social justice—yet their strategic contributions remain understudied, especially in comparisons between developed and developing countries. This study conducts a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA protocol on 25 peer-reviewed publications (2015–2025). Trade union strategies are interpreted using Kalt’s (2022) typology—oppositional, reactive, affirmative, transformational—and analyzed through six empowerment dimensions: structural, organizational, advocacy/negotiation, socio-cultural, economic, and ideological. Findings show unions in developed countries predominantly adopt affirmative and transformational strategies, engaging in reskilling initiatives, climate negotiations, and institutionalized social dialogue. Conversely, unions in developing countries rely more on oppositional or reactive strategies due to limited institutional capacity and weaker bargaining positions amid rapid transition policies. The study underscores the need for multidimensional empowerment to strengthen unions’ ability to influence policy and safeguard workers during decarbonization. These insights offer practical implications for policymakers and labor organizations committed to equity, sustainability, and socio-ecological justice in energy transitions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas perancangan dan implementasi sistem monitoring kualitas air secara otomatis pada budidaya ikan air tawar berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Sistem dirancang menggunakan Arduino UNO sebagai pengendali utama sensor dan ESP32 sebagai modul komunikasi data ke Firebase Realtime Database. Parameter utama yang dipantau meliputi pH, suhu air, ketinggian air, dan curah hujan menggunakan sensor pH E201C, sensor suhu DS18B20, sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04, serta sensor ombrometer. Data hasil pembacaan ditampilkan pada aplikasi Android Studio untuk kemudahan pemantauan jarak jauh.Sistem memiliki dua mode, yaitu otomatis dan manual. Pada mode otomatis, Arduino mengontrol empat relay untuk mengatur pompa penguras, pompa pengisi air, pengaduk larutan kapur, dan saluran kapur berdasarkan kondisi pH dan tinggi air. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu membaca nilai pH dengan akurasi 98,4%, suhu dengan akurasi 99,1%, dan ketinggian air dengan toleransi ±0,5 cm. Fitur rain suspend membuat sistem berhenti bekerja saat hujan dan aktif kembali setelah hujan berhenti. Sistem ini dinilai efektif, efisien, dan stabil dalam menjaga kualitas air pada budidaya ikan air tawar.

Abstract

Kesehatan manusia sangat bergantung pada fungsi alat vital, meliputi denyut nadi, suhu, dan tekanan darah. Ketiga parameter ini memainkan peran penting dalam menentukan kondisi kesehatan secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini mengembangkan alat pengukuran dan sistem monitoring denyut nadi, suhu, serta tekanan darah yang bersifat portable dan berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang bisa beroperasi secara bersamaan. Alat pengukuran denyut nadi, suhu, dan tekanan darah berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dikontrol menggunakan Arduino Uno R3 ATmega328P dan ESP32, serta dilengkapi dengan tiga sensor, yaitu pulse sensor digunakan untuk mengukur denyut nadi, sensor MLX90614 digunakan untuk mengukur suhu tubuh, dan sensor MPX5700DP digunakan untuk mengukur tekanan darah. Hasil pengukuran ditampilkan secara real-time pada layar LCD TFT 3,5 inci, serta dimonitoring melalui server Blynk dan data disimpan secara offline menggunakan Firebase. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan tingkat akurasi untuk pengukuran denyut nadi sebesar 85,46%, pengukuran suhu sebesar 98,97%, dan pengukuran tekanan darah untuk sistolik sebesar 91,16% dan untuk diastolik sebesar 81,58%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat ukur ini memiliki tingkat keakuratan yang cukup serta menawarkan efisiensi dalam pengukuran karena seluruh parameter dapat diukur secara terintegrasi dalam satu perangkat.
