This study showed that using a self-administered method, young people reported they got intercourse when they were with boy/girlfriend about 7,9%, and using interview-based questioner method 5,0%. Young people who reported that ever got intercourse in a self-administered method about 8,6%, and using interview-based questioner method 3,3%. The result showed there is different reporting young people’s sexual behavior between self-administered method and interview-based questioner method. Abstract

Pregnancy control and regulation is one of the ways to suppress the population in Indonesia through the family planning (KB) program. However, family planning programs in Indonesia still have problems, one of which is the high number of unmet need for family planning in Indonesia. 5 sub-districts in the City of Binjai showed that the District of Binjai Kota which had the highest number of unmet need for family planning was 18.27%. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Relationship of Education, Number of Children and Acceptance of Family Planning Information with Pregnancy Due to Unmet Need for KB in Pregnant Women in Binjai City Health Center in 2019. The method of this study used a cross sectional sample of 113 pregnant women in December 2018 - August 2019 at the Binjai City Health Center. Data were collected by interview using a questionnaire. Based on the results of the study note that out of 113 pregnant women there were 57 people (50.4%) who became pregnant as a result of Unmet Need KB. Variables related to Pregnancy Due to Unmet Need for KB are the number of children (p = 0.024) and the receipt of KB information (p = 0.001). The results of multiple logistic regression showed that respondents who had 1-2 children and did not receive family planning information had a probability of suffering from pregnancy due to unmet need for birth control by 57.8%. The suggestion for this research is that health workers pay more attention to those who have 1-2 children who are motivated to participate in the family planning program and ask pregnant women to ask health workers before using family planning tools as clearly as possible so that they are expected to be able to reduce the reasons for unmet need for family planning.

This study has six independent variables, specifically: variables of age, number of children, level of education, level of knowledge, partner support, and pregnancy plans with the dependent variable being the choice of contraception at RAC. Data were collected by interview using a questionnaire and then analyzed using the chi-square test with a value of α = 0.05. The results showed that the variable related to the choice of contraceptives in RAC was the couple's support (p=0.001). The cadres are expected to grow the husband's support for their wife to use long-term contraceptives and bring awareness for the husband to participate in using long-term contraceptives, Man Operation Method (MOM) with involvement from public figures, because the husband's support significantly affects the contraception that the respondent will choose.

Abstract

There was a decrease in the maternal mortality rate (MMR) at 390 to 305 out of 100,000 live births but still failed to reach the MDGs target to become SDGs, namely 70 deaths per 100,000 per live birth in 2023. Indonesian data for 2018 based on birth attendants by health workers was 93.1% and non-Nakes 6.7%, there were still 16% who gave birth at home, while in 2022 there were still 3 .65% assisted deliveries by non-health workers.  The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that influence the selection of birth attendants in the Talang Mamak community of Indragiri Hulu regency. This type of research is quantitative with cross sectional design. The population in this study amounted to 45 respondents with the criteria for respondents, namely pregnant women and mothers who have infants. Data analysis using Chi Square and Logistic Regression.  The results showed that of the 45 respondents, 60% of deliveries were assisted by health workers and 40% were assisted by traditional birth attendants.  There was a relationship between knowledge (p-value = 0.000), attitude (p-value = 0.014), beliefs/practices (p-value = 0.005), cost of labor (p-value = 0.028), distance (p-value = 0.028), family support (p-value = 0.011). The factor that plays the most role in the selection of birth attendants is knowledge with a significant value of 0.025, maternal attitude 0.031 and trust / custom 0.043 and family support 0.054. It is recommended to increase the knowledge of the mother by continuing health promotion with cultural and social approaches, as well as instilling a positive attitude towards health workers as birth attendants, so that childbirth is free of complications.
