Abstract

Filamentous alga sering ditemukan pada thallus rumput laut yang berkaitan dengan pertumbuhan dan kehidupan rumput laut. Keberadaan filamentous alga merupakan salah satu sumber yang mengakibatkan budidaya rumput laut mengalami penurunan kualitas dikarenakan alga filamen dan alga budidaya memiliki kesamaan dalam hal mencukupi kebutuhan nutrisi untuk tetap bertahan hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kepadatan filamentous alga dan preferensi perekatan filamentous alga pada thallus K.alvarezii dan dinding jaring horinet. Penentuan lokasi penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling atau penentuan secara sengaja. Pengambilan sampel filamentous alga pada thallus rumput laut dan horinet dilakukan dengan rentang waktu 7 hari selama 35 hari, setiap pengamatan sampel diambil sebanyak 5 thallus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis filamentous alga yang ditemukan diantaranya 2 jenis kelas Chlorophyta yaitu Chaetomorpha crassa dan Ulva intestinalis dan 3 jenis kelas Rhodophyta yaitu Neosiphonia saviateri, Neosiphonia apiculate dan Bachelotia antilarium. Kepadatan filamentous alga ditemukan tertinggi pada jaring horinet kelas Chlorophyta yaitu jenis Chaetomorpha crassa sebesar 6,37 ind/cm2. Uji statistik diperoleh tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kepadatan epifit pada thallus K. alvarezii dan alat horinet dengan nilai signifikan yang diperoleh 0,653. Hasil analisis korelasi person menunjukkan bahwa nilai kepadatan pada thallus K. alvarezii dan jaring horinet mempunyai hubungan yang kuat terhadap nitrat, fosfat, dan arus.

Abstract

The Banda Sea is one of the most fertile and potential waters in the field of fisheries and the largest fishing area in Indonesia.  This study aims to analyze the CPUE and MSY of indian scad from 2016-2022 (last 7 years). The value of Catch per Unit Effort (CPUE) fluctuated from 2016-2022. The highest purse seine equivalent CPUE value in 2018 was 4,562 kg/trip and the lowest in 2021 was 2,573 kg/trip. Based on the Schaefer model, the optimum fishing effort value is 3,382 trips per year and the maximum sustainable catch value is 7,936,016 kg per year. From this value, it indicates that the indian scad landed at PPS Kendari is underfished because it has not reached its sustainable potential

Abstract

Skipjack tuna is one of the large pelagic fish landed at the Kendari Ocean Fisheries Port (PPS Kendari). The objective of this research is to analyze the Catch per Unit Effort (CPUE) and Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY) of skipjack tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis) landed at PPS Kendari. The study was conducted in November-December 2023 at PPS Kendari. Data obtained from PPS Kendari for the years 2016-2022 include the catch of landed skipjack tuna, types of fishing gear used, and the quantity of catch for each type of gear. The research method employed is the surplus production Scheafer method. Fishing gear used to catch skipjack tuna landed at PPS Kendari includes gillnets, hand lines, pole and line, purse seines, boat seine, lift net, and others. The standard fishing gear used is the pole and line. The analysis of CPUE values for landed skipjack tuna at PPS Kendari tends to fluctuate, with the highest CPUE occurring in 2020 at 3,670 kg/trip and the lowest CPUE occurring in 2018 at 1,578 kg/trip. Based on the MSY analysis, the optimal fishing effort is determined to be 2126 trips per year, with an optimal catch quantity of 6,130,516 kg per year. The utilization of skipjack tuna at PPS Kendari has not reached the level of overfishing. It can be concluded that the fishing effort for skipjack tuna has not exceeded the limits of sustainable stocks in the Banda Sea, allowing for an increase in fishing effort to achieve maximum results while still adhering to the calculated MSY limits.

Abstract

The Banda Sea is an Indonesian water body that holds potential for small pelagic fisheries resources. Situated between Sulawesi Island and Maluku, it is part of the Fisheries Management Area Of The Republic Of Indonesia (WPP-NRI 714), Male mackerel (Rastrelliger kanagurta) is one of the fish species with high economic value, greatly favored by the community for consumption. This has led to an increase in its capture rates. Therefore, the research aims to determine the CPUE and MSY of Indian mackerel in the Kendari Ocean Fisheries Port. Data collection was conducted at the Kendari Ocean Fisheries Port from logbooks, and the research lasted from November to December 2023. The results showed that the standard fishing gear used to catch these fish is purse seine. The status of the utilization of the fishery resources is said to be experiencing underfishing. Based on the research results, the maximum sustainable yield (MSY) is 96,386 kg/year, with an optimal fishing effort of 2,300 trips/year (Fox model).

Abstract

Pembinaan perusahaan kepada masyarakat dalam mengembangkan minitech backyard, harus diiringi dengan pembinaan strategi pemasaran salah satunya melalui pembinaan digital marketing untuk memperluas pangsa pasar. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan informasi dan pengetahuan digital marketing dalam memasarkan benus udang vannameii Di Desa Batu Putih  Kecamatan Kolono Timur Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Dalam mendukung efisiensi dan peningkatan pangsa pasar benur udang vannameii yang berbasis internet diharapkan dapat terpublikasi secara global. Diharapkan pula  kedepannya kelompok usaha  dapat menjadi contoh dan dapat membagi pengetahuan dan pengalamannya memasarkan produk secara digital kepada masyarakat di sekitarnya. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan yaitu ceramah singkat atau pengenalan kepada peserta pelatihan dalam memasarkan produk dengan strategi digital marketing sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga, pemutaran vidio contoh iklan dalam memasarkan produk dengan media sosial, praktek cara membuat iklan dalam memasarkan produk dengan menggunakan media social (Instagram, Facebok, Whatshapp, Twiter, Snackvideo, Youtube) serta contoh pemasaran produk melalui media social dengan akunnya masing masing. Kegiatan pembinaan dan pendampingan dilakukan oleh mahasiswa sampai masyarakat peserta pelatihan benar benar mampu melakukan pemasaran dengan menggunakan teknologi dan media sosial yang biasa mereka gunakan sehari hari. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pelatihan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa para nelayan dan keluarganya dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pemasaran digital dari benur udang vannamei  dan meningkatnya inovasi pasar untuk peningkatan pangsa pasar benur udang vannamei di Desa Batu Putih Kecamatan Kolono Timur Kabupaten Konawe Selatan.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the type and purpose of marketing channels, to determine the proportion of vannamei shrimp marketing channels at the Ocean Fisheries Port, Kendari. Research data was obtained through observation, direct interviews, documentation and literature study. The sampling method used was purposive sampling method. The data analysis used was descriptive using a percentage approach to marketing proportion analysis. The results obtained were the type of marketing channel, which is indirect, because it was through the intermediary of branch companies and the head office of PT. Yanagi Histalaraya, while the market objectives were the domestic and export markets. The proportion of distribution volume was greater in the domestic market than in the export market. The proportion of domestic market marketing types was highest in 2016 while the lowest was in 2020 with no distribution at all. The proportion in the export market type was highest in 2017 and lowest one was in 2018 to 2020 with no distribution at all

Abstract

Mackerel tuna (Euthynnus affinis) is a significant fishery commodity in the Banda Sea, part of Fisheries Management Area 714 (WPP 714). This study focused on analyzing the biological characteristics of mackerel tuna, including length-frequency distribution, recruitment patterns, growth parameters, and mortality rates. Research was conducted at the Kendari Ocean Fisheries Port (PPS), with catch data from the Banda Sea provided by PPS Kendari observers. Data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel and software applying Von Bertalanffy's growth model. Fish length increased throughout the year, with the highest frequency observed from April to May and an average length of 50 cm. Recruitment patterns revealed two annual peaks in March and August. The growth constant (K) was 0.632, with a growth index of 1.0. Mortality analysis showed total mortality (Z) at 6.70, natural mortality (M) at 1.24, fishing mortality (F) at 5.46, and an exploitation rate (E) of 0.82. These results suggest that while growth rates remain favorable, mackerel tuna is experiencing overexploitation, highlighting the need for sustainable fisheries management.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi kebijakan inovasi SDM di Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan teori implementasi kebijakan yang mengkaji pelaksanaan  komunikasi, sumber daya, disposisi, dan struktur birokrasi dalam pelaksanaan inovasi SDM  yang ada pada Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan semua variabel yang diteliti mulai komunikasi yang berjalan dengan baik, sumber daya cukup terpenuhi sehingga dapat membantu tercapainya pelaksanaan program dengan baik,  disposisi dapat dilakukan dengan baik, dan struktur birokrasi cukup membantu tercapainya  tujuan yaitu inovasi yang dilakukan dapat memecahkan permasalahan dengan mempercepat proses pelayanan pengolahan limbah B3, tidak ada lagi kesalahan pencatatan penerimaan limbah, dokumen administrasi dilakukan semuanya secara online, dan tersedia dalam aplikasi SIPENGOLAH LIMBAH B3. Kata Kunci: Implementasi kebijakan, Inovasi SDM,  Pengolahan limbah

Abstract

This study aims to determine the type and proportion of marketing channels for flying fish commodities (Decapterus spp). This research was carried out in January-February 2024 at the Samudera Fisheries Port, Puday Village, Abeli District, Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Data collection techniques are conducted through interviews with fishermen marketing actors, commission agents, retailers, inter-regional and industrial traders. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that there are five types of marketing channels. Type I fishermen - commission agents - retailers - consumers, type II fishermen - commission agents - inter-regional traders - consumers, type III fishermen - commission agents - industry - consumers, type IV fishermen - commission agents - consumers PPS, type V fishermen - commission agents – industry - domestic consumers. Local marketing channels consist of types I to IV, while type V is a domestic marketing channel. The proportion of marketing shows that 60% of the total marketing is for the local market, while 40% is for the domestic market. The structure and proportion of the marketing channel of the flyfish can be the basis for the development of a more efficient marketing strategy in the future.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of rice husk waste fermentation for organic fertilizer production in Vaname shrimp cultivation in Konawe Selatan, Southeast Sulawesi. The research evaluates the effectiveness of converting rice husk waste into organic fertilizer through a community-based intervention involving 62 shrimp farming families. The findings demonstrate significant improvements in farmers' knowledge and skills regarding organic fertilizer production, resulting in enhanced soil quality and reduced production costs. The study contributes to sustainable aquaculture practices while addressing environmental concerns associated with traditional farming methods.
