Abstract

Masa remaja menjadi salah satu tahapan penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Secara psikologis, remaja masih belum stabil sehingga sering melakukan segala sesuatu dengan dasar coba-coba. Pendidikan seks di kalangan remaja masih sangat tabu untuk dibahas, begitu pula dengan bahaya narkoba. Akibatnya, remaja tidak memiliki informasi yang cukup mengenai kedua hal tersebut. Hal ini kemudian berdampak pada munculnya keinginan remaja untuk mencoba dan dapat membahayakan generasi penerus bangsa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi mengenai seksualitas dan bahaya narkoba, terutama pada remaja. Kegiatan ini kemudian dilakukan dengan member penyuluhan yang disertai dengan diskusi interaktif. Antusiasme peserta dalam kegiatan ini cukup baik, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan-kegiatan serupa masih sangat perlu untuk dilakukan.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning using the Jigsaw method. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were junior high school students. The data for this study were obtained using test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that the Jigsaw method can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 48.71%, the first cycle 62.39% and in the second cycle it increased to 90.96%. Thus, the use of the Jigsaw method can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning

Abstract

Diarrhea is a condition characterized by the frequency of defecation more than three times a day with watery stools, sometimes accompanied by blood or mucus. This research aims to provide adequate knowledge to children about the importance of maintaining personal hygiene and environmental sanitation to avoid health problems such as diarrhea, especially at Nurul Iman TPA on Jalan Dr. Moh. Hatta, West Kendari District, Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi. Implementation of the activity begins with an introduction and explanation of the purpose of the activity. Next, a questionnaire was given in the form of a pre-test (initial test) to measure children's knowledge about diarrhea. After that the material is delivered, followed by a post-test (final test) for evaluation after counseling. The research results showed a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, which indicated a significant change in the level of knowledge between before and after counseling. Thus, the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected, indicating that the knowledge of TPA Nurul Iman students increased significantly after counseling. Diarrhea is often caused by poor hygiene and infections from bacteria, viruses or parasites. Education regarding the importance of personal hygiene, such as washing hands with soap (CTPS), is an effective preventive measure.

Abstract

Environmental pollution in coastal areas, particularly due to the accumulation of solid and liquid waste, is an urgent issue globally and in Indonesia. Low public awareness and inadequate waste management facilities exacerbate this condition, as seen at Batu Gong Beach, South Konawe Regency. Previous studies indicate that plastic and organic waste are poorly managed, compounded by a lack of oversight. The objective of this community service activity is to enhance the understanding and awareness of the local community and visitors to Batu Gong Beach regarding plastic waste management and coastal pollution prevention, as well as to foster synergy among stakeholders for a clean, healthy, and sustainable coastal environment. The method used involved a site survey and fieldwork by 12 students from the Faculty of Public Health, Halu Oleo University, on May 29, 2025. The results showed that most of the waste at Batu Gong Beach originated from visitors and sea-borne debris, leading to ecosystem damage and reduced tourist appeal. Collaboration among the government, community, and visitors is crucial to provide waste facilities, conduct regular clean-ups, and raise environmental awareness to ensure the sustainability of Batu Gong Beach.

Abstract

Teachers in the twenty-first century need to be digitally literate in order to raise the calibre of instruction. According to a scenario analysis conducted at SMAN 1 Sindue Tobata, over 80% of instructors require training in the development of ICT and website-based learning materials since doing so lowers student involvement and the quality of instruction. Teachers were given extensive training to enable them to build and utilise digital learning resources in order to solve this problem. Because of this, over 90% of the trainees were able to develop online and ICT platforms to provide engaging and useful learning materials. As a result, this training not only helps instructors meet their skill demands, but it also greatly enhances the teaching and learning process in the digital age. For the training programme to continue supporting teachers' professional growth in the future, sustainability is crucial. This project, financed by the Directorate of Research, Technology and Community Service (DRTPM), with contract number Manual.164/E5/DT.05.00.2024, is to assist in the enhancement of the quality of instruction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the implementation of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) within a problem-based learning (PBL) approach to enhance students' creativity and learning outcomes in science subjects at SD Inpres Tanamodindi. The research was conducted in Grade V of SD Inpres 1 Tanamodindi Palu, where students exhibit diverse academic abilities. Following the research design proposed by Kemmis and McTaggart (2013) and Zhong, Y. (2024), the study was carried out in two cycles. Data collection methods included observations, interviews, field notes, and learning outcome assessments. The findings reveal that integrating the STEAM approach into the PBL model at SD Inpres Tanamodindi led to an improvement in learning outcomes, rising from 64.65 in the first cycle to 71.77 in the second cycle. Additionally, students' creativity in solving science-related problems improved, progressing from the "sufficient" category in cycle 1 to the "very good" category in cycle 2.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik kelas XI.6 SMA Negeri 6 Palembang menggunakan game mathematics pada Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kolaboratif dengan dua siklus menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang terdiri dari empat tahapan pada setiap siklusnya yaitu rencana, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas XI.6 SMA Negeri 6 Palembang berjumlah 35 orang dan objek penelitian adalah keaktifan belajar peserta didik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, skor rata-rata keaktifan belajar peserta didik dari hasil observasi pada siklus I diperoleh 45,61% terkategori rendah dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 77% terkategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa game mathematics dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik kelas XI.6 SMA Negeri 6 Palembang pada pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter dan literasi merupakan fondasi penting dalam membentuk Generasi Emas Indonesia 2045. Desa Rinding Allo memiliki potensi besar untuk pengembangan kedua aspek ini, sehingga Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Islam Negeri Palopo dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk implementasi tridarma perguruan tinggi. Kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) melalui tahapan inkulturasi, discovery, perencanaan, implementasi, dan refleksi, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan partisipasi aktif mahasiswa. Program ini menunjukkan peningkatan antusiasme dan kedisiplinan siswa, serta berkembangnya nilai karakter seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan kerja sama melalui pembelajaran di sekolah dan TPA. Kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat, seperti pembuatan taman TOGA, tempat sampah terpilah, dan papan literasi sampah terurai, turut meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan dan memperkuat budaya gotong royong. Secara keseluruhan, KKN ini berhasil mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter dan literasi ke dalam aktivitas masyarakat melalui pendekatan berbasis potensi lokal, sehingga mendukung terbentuknya generasi muda yang cerdas, berkarakter, dan peduli lingkungan.

Abstract

The low level of understanding among some pregnant women regarding childbirth preparation remains a challenge in efforts to improve maternal and neonatal preparedness and safety. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of online education delivered through digital posters in improving pregnant women’s knowledge of childbirth preparation in Makassar City. The research employed a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pretest–posttest model, involving 30 pregnant women selected through purposive sampling. The educational intervention consisted of sending digital posters containing childbirth preparation materials via the WhatsApp platform, followed by measurements of participants’ knowledge before and after the intervention using a Google Form questionnaire. The results showed a substantial increase in knowledge after the intervention, with the mean score rising from 62.3 in the pre-test to 82.7 in the post-test. Furthermore, the paired t-test yielded a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that the digital poster–based education had a significant effect on improving pregnant women’s knowledge of childbirth preparation. These findings confirm that digital posters serve as an effective, accessible, and contextually relevant educational medium for pregnant women in urban settings such as Makassar City. The study recommends developing more interactive digital content and conducting further research with control groups and additional variables to strengthen the empirical evidence.
