Abstract

The development of the era where everything is instantaneous and fast as it is today must be supported by the development of increasingly sophisticated information technology. One of the functions of this technological development is to obtain accurate and fast information. But in fact, there are still companies / organizations that have not used computer technology as a work aid, such as the Bromo Rajawali Convection which still uses the manual method of writing employee data, namely data storage still using books. Therefore, the design of an employee data management information system is carried out that can help companies control the production data of each tailor employee. The method used in this research is the Waterfall method. It is called a waterfall because the steps that are passed must wait for the completion of the previous stage and run sequentially, for example the design stage must wait for the completion of the previous stage, namely the requirements stage [1]. The Waterfall method consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and Maintenance. The purpose of this study is to design an information system that can make it easier for companies to write down employee production data accurately. From the design results, there are two factors that support the running of the system, namely administration and production data, the input form available on the system that has been designed, namely the login input form and the employee data input form, while the output form contains complete data related to employee personal data and employee production data. With the creation of a management information system in writing data on employee production, the Rajawali Bromo Convection can accelerate the search for more accurate data in the future, and applications made later by the company can be used properly as one of the employee production data systems

Abstract

Purpose: Frequent damage to the mill roll machine at the mill station and the absence of special attention to scheduling repairs, this research is expected to make scheduled maintenance intervals and maintenance strategies for mill roll machines at the mill station to reduce downtime and anticipate sudden downtime on the machine. Design/methodology/approach: This study uses the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method approach to create the most efficient maintenance program by eliminating unnecessary maintenance activities, reducing overhaul frequency, minimizing downtime, minimizing the risk of sudden failure, focusing maintenance on critical components, and improving component reliability. Findings: The results of this study show that there are two strategies used in mill roll machine maintenance, namely preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance. Research limitations/implications: This study focuses on critical components that often experience damage to the mill roll machine, namely standard milk check, feeder roll, scrapper, and chute components, and does not consider the cost aspect. Practical implications: The results of this study provide input to the company's interval time scheduling and machine maintenance strategy. Originality/value: This research was conducted in the production department of the milling station at PT Perkebunan Nusantara XIV Camming Sugar Factory in Bone Regency, where the production results include white crystal sugar, blotong, and molasses. Research to analyze machine reliability, minimize downtime and propose maintenance schedules and SOPs for maintaining production machinery at Camming Sugar Factory.

Abstract

Based on the problem formulation in this research, the goal that can be formulated in this research is to be able to distribute products using optimal distribution routes and minimize transportation costs at PT. Unilever Indonesia Makassar Depot. This research uses the Nearest Neighbor method approach to determine the shortest route so that the distribution path can be done optimally. Optimal means the amount of goods sent, delivery time, and the distance required is right, in this case there are many routes. Based on calculations carried out in completing the CVRP using the Nearest Neighbor method, the total distance traveled was 1,940.2 km. Meanwhile, the company's current total mileage is 2,348 km. This shows that the Nearest Neighbor method is effective in determining the distribution route for Sariwangi Tea at PT. Unilever Indonesia Makassar Depot.  This research focuses on the distribution of goods from the company's depot (warehouse) to its customers. Delivery of goods involves services provided by the company within a predetermined time period to a number of customers using certain vehicles where the depot location can be at one or more locations. The results of this research provide input for future deliveries. It is hoped that companies can use new distribution routes using the Nearest Neighbor method, so that delivery costs can be controlled by using shorter or closest delivery routes and the costs are optimal. PT Unilever Indonesia is a subsidiary of Unilever which was founded in 1933. Having produced many well-known products, PT Unilever Indonesia is one of the large companies that contributes to meeting various community needs. As a company operating in the distribution sector, determining delivery routes is very important to consider time efficiency and minimize transportation costs.

Abstract

Appropriate Technology (AT) is widely applied in the agricultural sector to improve post-harvest productivity, including the use of corn shellers. However, many existing corn shellers have not fully considered usability and ergonomic aspects, which may lead to inefficiency, errors, and increased cognitive and physical workload for users. This study aims to evaluate the usability of a corn sheller and identify physiological parameters that indicate usability levels. An experimental method was employed involving two groups of participants, namely novice users and experienced users. Usability evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS), user performance indicators (task completion rate, task completion time, and error rate), and physiological measurements in the form of body temperature changes before and after task execution. The results showed that experienced users achieved a higher average SUS score (88.50, excellent usability) compared to novice users (58.50, marginal usability). Experienced users completed tasks faster, achieved a 100% task completion rate, and made fewer errors. Novice users required longer completion times, showed higher error rates, and experienced greater increases in body temperature. The findings indicate that usability is strongly influenced by user experience and cognitive factors. Body temperature changes can be used as an objective physiological indicator of usability and workload. Improvements in system learnability and user guidance are recommended to enhance usability for novice users.

Abstract

The disconnection in the transmission of maritime knowledge to partners in Southern Thailand poses a serious challenge to the preservation of cultural identity. The activity partner, Madrasah Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Addalawiyah in Pattani, faces obstacles in contextualizing its revelation based curriculum with modern technological advancements. This community service program aims to bridge this gap through an ethno techno religious approach. The implementation employs the Participatory Action Learning (PAL) method, which integrates the philosophy of Phinisi shipbuilding, Critical Path Method (CPM) project management, and the interpretation of Kauniyah verses. Therefore, a structured process of introducing Bugis-Makassar culture through sharing sessions using storytelling and discussion methods is necessary. The results of the activity indicate that: (1) internalizing the values of Siri’ na Pacce in ship construction can awaken students’ collective memory of their ancestral heritage; (2) the application of the PERT/CPM method in shipbuilding simulations provides a concrete understanding of time management aligned with Q.S. Al-‘Asr; and (3) the emergence of a new paradigm in which shipbuilding technology is understood as a tangible manifestation of the teachings of the Qur’an. This program recommends an integrative education model that positions local wisdom as the entry point for science learning in faith-based educational institutions
