Abstract

This paper aims to study how the leadership of an organization manages the process of change in its environment. The challenges faced are various changes both from within and outside the organization in a very fast, chaotic and turbulent, which has become the 'new' normal. The method of writing this paper is done through a study of various literatures. The COVID19 pandemic has various impacts on people's lives, especially business organizations or companies, which has caused many changes in the world of VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity). Every organization must be able to identify it because every problem requires a fast and precise response. Abstract

This study aims to see the budget allocation for the Covid-19 Handling Program and National Economic Recovery (PC-PEN), based on realizing the PC-PEN Program budget in 2020 and the challenges in 2021. The research method in this study is to use a qualitative approach through a review of the literature with the primary source coming from the Ministry of Finance, especially from the Warta Fiskal published by the Fiscal Policy Agency of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as other supporting sources. From data through literature, social protection programs and support for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) show significant budget absorption development. While the health management program, sectoral support from ministries/agencies and local governments, and business incentives, the absorption is still low. The Government must pay attention to the implementation and effectiveness of the PC-PEN Program, including maintaining the most subordinate economic groups' consumption and giving priority to the distribution of stimulus funds to the sectors most affected by this pandemic. Abstract

MSMEs spread throughout Indonesia are expected to be one of the main drivers in the national economic recovery (PEN) due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to evaluate the programs that have been carried out and the budget used in the PEN Program specifically for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in 2020 and look at the program in 2021. The research method used is a qualitative method by reviewing the literature related to research objectives. The PEN scheme for MSMEs is in the form of a debt restructuring program, postponement of debt installation payments for six months; Subsidizing installation interest of 6% and tax subsidy of 0%; MSME actors can also apply for loans with low-interest rates of only 3%; and productive presidential assistance for MSMEs (BPUM) that have not been in contact with banks, amounting to Rp. 2.4 million, which is allocated to 12 million business actors. Abstract

In operations other than war, it is stated that the TNI also has to assist regional governments. Together with the local government, the TNI has collaborated to carry out development in various fields jointly. The TNI has a Bhakti TNI program, namely TNI Manunggal Building Villages (TMMD), as the involvement of the TNI as a state tool to support the development and implementation of regional government without neglecting vigilance and National Defense and Security. This paper aims to look at the strategic management of the TMMD program. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative literature study. It will review it from the rationale SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) to strategic policies and evaluations from the TNI Manunggal Village Development implementation.Keywords: TNI, Unity, Village Building, Strategic Management

Abstract

In this paper, “a structural mathematical model is made that explains how the variables of economic growth, defence budget, and investment simultaneously interact with one another. The simultaneous equation developed in this study consists of four structural equations: the relationship between defence spending with economic growth, relations with investment, relations with education, and the endogeneity of military expenditures. This equation, there is indicated a simultaneous system of four endogenous variables. The economic growth equation is used as an identity equation, and the defence budget in which there are traditional threat variables defined as autonomous to see the effect of crossing over on economic growth, investment and education budget.Keywords: Structural Mathematical Model, Simultaneous Equations, Economic growth, Economic Defense, Traditional Threats

Abstract

Geopolitical events, such as the Russia-Ukraine conflict, have a significant impact on global commodity, financial, and capital markets. This conflict creates uncertainty that can influence investor sentiment, stock prices, trade activities, and the broader economy. The study employs a qualitative approach to examine the impact of the Russia-Ukraine conflict on the global economy. The research findings reveal an increase in global commodity prices, financial market fluctuations, and capital market volatility, with varying effects across different sectors. Additionally, the conflict affects the Indonesian economy, particularly concerning oil imports and the exchange rate of the rupiah. With the growing geopolitical uncertainty, a better understanding of its impact becomes crucial for making informed decisions in the global market. This research provides value in identifying risks and opportunities and assists stakeholders in making sound decisions amid emerging geopolitical risks.Keywords: Russia-Ukraine War, Global Economy, Geopolitical Ris
