Abstract

Majas dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia merupakan sebuah objek kajian yang menarik untuk diteliti. Hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya pengetahuan siswa mengenai majas, sehingga memerlukan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat membantu dan memudahkan siswa dalam belajar majas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan Aplikasi 1001 Majas guna membantu dan mempermudah pemahaman mengenai majas pada siswa SMA di Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode persentase deskriptif. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 7 Malang dan MA Al-Irtiqo’ sebagai populasi penelitian. Total terdapat 5 kelas di SMAN 7 Malang dan 2 kelas di MA Al-Irtiqo’, berdasarkan kondisi tersebut maka digunakan teknik simple random sampling untuk menentukan sampel penelitian, sehingga didapatkan siswa kelas X1 dan X3 di SMAN 7 Malang serta Kelas X1 dan X2 di  MA Al-Irtiqo’ sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) penerapan Aplikasi 1001 Majas mampu memudahkan pemahaman mengenai majas dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dan (2) keberadaan Aplikasi 1001 Majas juga dapat berperan sebagai media pembelajaran yang dapat memberikan manfaat yang berguna pada siswa.

Abstract

Wayang orang merupakan kesenian drama klasik yang diadaptasi dari wayang purwa. Adaptasi tersebut termasuk kostum yang digunakan salah satunya adalah ricikan atau aksesoris pada wayang orang yang memiliki fungsi untuk menunjukkan karakter tokoh. Seiring perkembangan zaman, ricikan mengalami perkembangan dalam pengaplikasiaanya.  Penelitian ini akan mendeskripsikan ricikan sebagai representasi karakter dan mendeskripsikan perkembangan ricikan pada pementasan wayang orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode metode deskriptif analitik. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah pengajar teater wayang orang. Data berupa gambar-gambar dan deskripsi lisan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ricikan dapat digunakan sebagai representasi karakter tokoh melalui bentuk atau motif ricikan yang digunakan. Selain itu, pengembangan ricikan dapat ditemukan dari perubahan bahan pembuataannya dan beberapa ricikan digunakan sama rata tanpa memperhatikan karakter yang diperankan.

Abstract

Local wisdom teaches people to live wiser and wiser lives, one of which is manifest in protecting their environment. However, local wisdom that could have been inherited from generation to generation began to be eroded by the flow of modernization and globalization. For this reason, it is very rare to find people who still apply local wisdom as a way of life, including in their efforts to respond to their environment. This has an impact on the increasingly damaged natural environment. For this reason, efforts need to be made to reduce events like this, one of which is by reminding others through novel studies. Thus the need for research with the object of environmental-themed novel studies. This study uses a descriptive comparative method with an ecological approach. The object of the study is a novel entitled Sokola Rimba by Butet Manurung and Sebuah Wilayah yang Tidak Ada di Google Earth by Pandu Hamzah. The purpose of the study is to produce a description of the retention of local wisdom that can anticipate or at least inhibit environmental damage. The results of this study indicate that the community in the novel setting seeks to preserve nature, maintain the harmonization of life with nature through local wisdom that is held firmly. Communities believe in the detrimental effects of natural damage when they forget local wisdom. The local wisdom they hold firm includes knowledge, values, skills, natural resources, decision-making mechanisms, rituals, and local beliefs.

Abstract

Sastra dan psikologi memiliki kekuatan dalam proses kreativitas pengarang merangkai peristiwa dalam cerita. Dalam kajian psikologi sastra, kepribadian tokoh dapat dipahami dalam melalui id, ego, dan superego tokoh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) id tokoh Asih dalam novel Lengking Burung Kasuari, (2) ego tokoh Asih dalam novel Lengking Burung Kasuari, dan (3) superego tokoh Asih dalam novel Lengking Burung Kasuari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori psikologi sastra Sigmund Freud. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini metode deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah sekuen cerita, kutipan satuan cerita berwujud dialog, dan monolog. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan teknik sebagai berikut. (a) membaca, (b) mengidentifikasi data, (c) mengelompokan data sesuai dengan kajian, (d) mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis data. Sumber data penelitian berupa novel Lengking Burung Kasuari Karya Nunuk Y. Kusmiana diterbitkan oleh PT Gramedia Pustaka Utama tahun 2017. Hasil penelitian dapat dikemukakan sebagai berikut. Pertama, bentuk id berupa ketakutan, jantung berdegub kencang, merasa ngeri, sakit hati, dan kecemasan. Kedua, bentuk ego meliputi perilaku menghindar, dan Ketiga bentuk superego berupa nilai kesantunan terhadap orang lain.

This is because the story that the author uses is very close to the lives of teenagers. Character education should not be separated in everyday life, especially during adolescence. Starting from family life, school, to social life. This study aims to describe the values of character education and the creativity of the author in creating the characters found in the novel Antares by Rweinda. The data source in this study is a novel entitled Antares by Rweinda published by Lovable in 2020. The research data is in the form of units of words and sentences that describe the character values of the novel characters. The results of this study are that there are five forms of educational values described in the novel Antares by Rweinda including tolerance, responsibility, honesty, solidarity, and courage. The five values of character education are very exemplary for today's youth. Thus, this novel can be used as an alternative in character learning. The depiction of the value of character education in the novel Antares by Rweinda which is shown through the characters cannot be separated from the creativity of the author. Rweinda as the author of this novel can create characters with various characters that cannot be separated from the environment in which they live. Rweinda who is still a teenager can create teenage characters with characters and problems experienced by the lives of teenagers.

Abstract

In general, the culture of society places women second, while the top hierarchy is occupied by men. This revealed that women were still marginalized. The role of women is not only the main character that must be under the men but also has the same rights struggle without involving gender. Many people still hold a strict patriarchal culture so as to produce gender biased decisions and attitudes that affect women's struggle to achieve equal positions. The existence of these problems can be built by the woman with the culture represented in the Kalamata novel with the role of the woman playing the role of the mastermind. This study aims to describe the overall values of feminism in the involvement of women in cultural aspects. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach to feminism. Source of data is a collection of stories in a novel entitled Kalamata written by Ni Made Purnama Sari. Data analysis included descriptions performed after data collection, data interpretation, and data inference. The results of the study are discussed in the attitudes of women leaders in culture, the influence of women leaders on cultural development, the role of women leaders in education and the problem of women leaders in cultural preservation.

Abstract

Character education is considered to be important since character is functioned as the power of mental and ethics which encourage the nation to realize the national idea and to show the comparative, competitive, and dynamic excellences among other nations. However, the current implementation of character education is not considered to be successful yet. In addition, character education has been widely implemented in schools so far. The research finding about character education in school shows that the implementations of character education in schools are still mainly based on the school condition and tend to be as what it is (without a good planning). Besides, schools also do not have the character education implementation guideline which is based on school condition and the development of students’ psychology. There are some obstacles of the character education implementation in school, which are human resources, facilities, and lack of support from the family and society. The implementation of character education in elementary school has not involved many parties yet and the evaluation is not done continuously. Since the importance of character education implementation to students, especially for elementary school students, it needs model reconstruction which is appropriate and applicable to elementary school students. Role play is one of the activities in elementary school curriculum which is possibly used as a media to transfer the character value. Besides the fact that role play has not widely introduced yet, it is such a pleasing activity. Role play here is role play which has a concept in the model of theater empowerment. Through this theater empowerment, students will have the experience to involve in the society. Besides, students’ characters can also be forged during the practice session of theater. Therefore, character education model based on theater empowerment can be an alternative of character education in elementary school.   Keywords: Character Education, Theater Empowerment, Elementary School Students

Abstract

Pada 12 Oktober 2002, dunia diguncangkan oleh peristiwa serangan teroris yang terjadi di Legian Bali. Dalam peristiwa pengeboman ini 202 orang terbunuh dan 300 orang luka-luka. Peristiwa ini merupakan salah satu aksi terorisme terbesar di Indonesia, bahkan dunia. Meskipun banyak mendapat perhatian dari peneliti, tetapi bagaimana peristiwa kelam ini diingat dalam produk budaya masyarakat belum mendapatkan perhatian. Luka Bom Bali (2017) karya Ni Komang Erviani dan Anak Agung Lea merupakan karya memoar yang berkisah mengenai pengalaman hidup korban tragedi. Karya ini menjadi teks memori yang menggambarkan bagaimana peristiwa ini diingat dalam ingatan kolektif masyarakat Indonesia. Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan representasi pengalaman traumatis dan strategi mengatasi trauma korban tragedi Bom Bali 1 yang tergambarkan dalam memoar Luka Bom Bali. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan psiko-historis. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik simak-catat dan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berbagai dorongan memori pasca-peristiwa pengeboman yang berada dalam alam bawah muncul dalam bentuk simbolis. Simbol-simbol ini menghantui kehidupan korban bahkan setelah 15 tahun peristiwa berlalu. Utnuk mengatasi trauma mental para korban menggunakan strategi memperkuat nilai religiusitasnya dan mengingat keluarga atau orang terdekat. Melalui analisis tersebut, kami berpendapat bahwa Luka Bom Bali merupakan state of memory kepedihan dan perjuangan korban terorisme Bom Bali 1 yang terus berjuang melawan luka fisik dan mental. Bahkan, setelah 15 tahun peristiwa berlalu para korban merasa tidak hadirnya pemerintah di tengah-tengah perjuangan mereka melawan rasa sakit. Para korban mengajak pembaca, khususnya generasi pasca-memori, untuk mengingat peristiwa ini dan belajar untuk memperoleh inspirasi dan pelajaran dari peristiwa yang terjadi. Karya ini mengajak pembaca untuk merasakan kembali trauma yang selama ini tidak tersuarakan dari perspektif korban, khususnya bagi generasi pasca-memori.   On October 12, 2002, the world was shaken by the terrorist attack in Legian Bali. Although it has received much attention from researchers, how this dark event is remembered in the cultural products of the community has not received attention. Luka Bom Bali (Bali Bombing Woundss) (2017) by Ni Komang Erviani and Anak Agung Lea is a memoir that tells about the life experiences of victims of the tragedy. This work becomes a memory text that describes how this event is remembered in the collective memory of the Indonesian people. This article describes the representation of traumatic experiences and strategies for coping with the trauma of the victims of the Bali Bombing tragedy as depicted in the memoirs of the Bali Bombing Woundss. This study uses a psycho-historical approach. The data were collected using the note-taking technique and analyzed using the content analysis technique. The results showed that various post-bombing memory impulses that were in the unconscious appeared in a symbolic form. These symbols haunt the victim's life even after 15 years of the incident. To coping mental trauma, the victims use strategies to strengthen their religious values ​​and remember their families. Through this analysis, we argue that the Luka Bom Bali (Bali Bombing Woundss) is a state of memory of the pain and struggle of the victims who continue to struggle with physical and mental injuries. Even after 15 years of the incident, the victims felt the absence of the government during their struggle against pain. The victims invite readers, especially the post-memory generation, to remember this event and draw inspiration and lessons from the events. This work invites the reader to re-experience the trauma that has been unspoken from the victim's perspective, especially for the post-memory generation.

Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF CONTEXTUAL LEARNING IN TEACHERS OF SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 2 BATU CITY BASED ON SOCIAL ECOLOGY. The problem faced by Batu Muhammadiyah Middle School students is that students have not been able to fully understand learning. They have not been able to understand and apply the learning material in real life. This is because the teacher is oriented to the completion of the material and the values ​​that must be achieved by students, both academic grades and values ​​related to character. The series of activities carried out are (1) input from program participants, (2) activities carried out in the form of training in making contextual learning media based on social ecology, and (3) the results achieved are the soft skills of teachers in developing contextual learning. In addition to soft skills, the teachers of Junior High School Muhammadiyah 2 Batu also have an awareness that fun learning can give students a complete understanding, so this increases student grades. Students also become more skilled in applying the knowledge they obtain to their daily lives.

Abstract

TRAINING OF SCIENTIFIC WRITING FOR TEACHERS OF MTs MUHAMMADIYAH I MALANG AS AN EFFORT TO IMPROVE TEACHER PROFESSIONALITY. The problems of MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Malang teachers in preparing scientific papers include: (1) MTs Muhammadiyah 1 teachers' knowledge to compile scientific papers is still lacking. In fact, it shows that 100% of MTs Muhammadiyah 1 teachers do not yet have the knowledge to compile KTI; (2) the ability of MTs Muhammadiyah 1 teachers in preparing KTI is still low; (3) to increase teacher competence in preparing KTI, training and assistance are needed in the preparation of KTI; (4) the writing process must be carried out by MTs Muhammadiyah 1 teachers to process ideas and design a writing framework in stages and continue to produce products; and (5) the school has never conducted KTI training independently due to limited funding. This activity is carried out through training and mentoring. The form of training carried out is in the form of strengthening (a) understanding knowledge about writing proposals, compiling research reports, and writing scientific articles, (b) this activity is supported by methods of lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and assignments. The mentoring activities are carried out face-to-face which is integrated with training and indirectly through online. The results of the KTI training activities at MTs Muhammadiyah can be argued that (1) teachers' knowledge has increased 70% due to enthusiasm and enthusiasm for participating in the activities; (2) the skills of the teachers in preparing KTI were classified as good because 80% wrote proposals and 20% were articles. (3) the implementation of online assistance in the preparation of KTI still reaches 80%, because online mentoring requires skills to use internet facilities properly.
