Abstract

This study aims to analyze the socioeconomic and demographic conditions of Indonesian migrant workers in Donomulyo District and identify the factors influencing their decision to migrate. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, the research was conducted in Donomulyo District, Malang Regency, with a population of 722 individuals whose family members work as migrant workers. A sample of 88 respondents was determined using the Slovin formula and proportional random sampling. Data were collected through field observations and interviews, processed using single and cross-tabulations, and analyzed with inferential statistics, specifically the Chi-Square test. The results show that migrant workers in Donomulyo District predominantly have a junior high school education, are married, and support an average of three dependents. Before migration, most were engaged in agriculture, either as laborers or self-employed, earning between IDR 1,500,000 and IDR 2,000,000, with an average land ownership of 0.09-0.2 hectares. Among the variables studied, the most significant factor influencing migration decisions was their previous occupation in agriculture. These findings highlight the socioeconomic challenges faced by rural communities and their influence on migration patterns, providing insights for policymakers in addressing migration-related issues.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine differences in student learning outcomes in Educational Research courses using the ARIAS learning model. The research method is a quasi-experimental method. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. The sample is students from Class 2021 class F as the experimental class and students from Class 2021 class G as the control class. The data collection technique uses tests and non-tests. The instruments are objective tests of the multiple choice type and non-test instruments in the form of questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using the prerequisite normality test and homogeneity test. The results of the t-test carried out using the SPSS program showed that the tcount value was greater than the ttable value, meaning that there was a significant difference in the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and the control class, so it could be concluded that there was a difference in student learning outcomes in the Educational Research course. using the ARIAS learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine effect volleyball small side games (SSG) on body mass index (BMI) and physiological conditions in prepubescent children. The method used The Randomized Pretest-Posttest Group Design with a sample of 20 subjects. Research subjects determined based on inclusion and exclusion criteria and divided into experimental and control groups. Experimental group was given SSG volleyball intervention and control group without treatment. BMI measured by the formula BMI and Blood taken 24 hours before the exercise intervention and 24 hours after the intervention. To determine the physiological condition of the subject, the variables used were blood glucose and hemoglobin. SSG volleyball was carried out for 8 weeks with 3x intervention in 1 week. The results of BMI and serum data were analyzed with SPSS 25 with paired sample t-test and independent t-test. The results of this study from an independent t-test between the experimental group and the control group showed a variable value of BMI with a p-value of 0.016 (P<0.05),blood glucose p-value of 0.000 (P<0.05) and a hemoglobin p-value 0.007 (P<0.05). Results this study can be concluded a significant influence of volleyball SSG intervention on changes body mass index and physiological conditions of prepubertal children.
