Abstract

The mathematical literacy of students at SMP Negeri 26 Semarang is not yet optimal. This research aims to determine learning mastery, average student mathematical literacy, the influence of learning motivation on mathematical literacy, and describe students' mathematical literacy in terms of learning motivation in class using a project based learning model assisted by live worksheets. This research used a mixed-method explanatory sequential design. The quantitative method in this research used a true experimental design with a posttest-only control group design involving two groups as an experimental group and a control group.The population of this study was class VIII of SMP Negeri 26 Semarang. The sample for this research was class VIII-G as the experimental class and class VIII-E as the control class taken using simple random sampling techniques. The subjects of this research consisted of 2 students in each category of high, medium and low learning motivation who were selected using purposive sampling technique. The results of this research show that: (1) students' mathematical literacy in Project Based Learning with Liveworksheet assistance has reached the actual completion limit; (2) the average mathematical literacy of students in Project Based Learning assisted by Liveworksheets is better than the average mathematical literacy of students in Problem Based Learning; (3) There is an influence of learning motivation on students' mathematical literacy with a percentage of 42.8%; (4) Subjects with high learning motivation have high mathematical literacy abilities because they tend to be able to fulfill the three indicators well. Subjects with moderate learning motivation have moderate mathematical literacy abilities, because there are still indicators that have not been met properly. Subjects with low learning motivation have low mathematical literacy abilities, because they do not fulfill the three indicators well.

Abstract

Penelitian memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana lingkungan, stres di tempat kerja dan kompetensi dalam memengaruhi kinerja pada PT Hevea MK I Palembang. Studi ini menggunakan 77 sampel. Analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda, dengan uji F, t serta uji diterminasi. Dari hasil uji hipotesis memperlihatkan bahwa secara bersama-sama Lingkungan, Stres dan Kompetensi memiliki pengaruh positif pada Kinerja Karyawan. Hasil analisis uji F bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, mengartikan adanya pengaruh pada lingkungan, stres dan kompetensi signifikan pada kinerja karyawan. Hasil analisis uji t, nilai t hitung untuk lingkungan kerja ada pengaruh signifikan Lingkungan terhadap Kinerja, Nilai t hitung untuk stres juga terdapat pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, Nilai t hitung untuk kompetensi menghasilkan bahwa pengaruh signifikan Kompetensi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil Kofesien determinasi mampu berkontribusi terhadap pengaruh yang terjadi pada kinerja karyawan, dengan sebesar 85,0%. Kata Kunci: Kinerja, Lingkungan, Stres Karja, Kompetensi

Abstract

Youth Organization Guyub Rukun, which is only 4 years old, is still minimal in participating in contributing to the implementation of the neighborhood program. This community service activity aims to strengthen the Neighborhood Mangunsari literacy environment, especially with Mathematics and Science literacy which is part of the Community Reading Park management carried out by Youth Organization Guyub Rukun. Through the empowerment of Youth Organization Guyub Rukun, it is hoped that it can strengthen the literacy of residents of RT 02 RW 04 Mangunsari. The program is implemented with the principle of empowerment, as well as a collaborative-participatory approach. The methods of activities that have been carried out are training, ToT (Training of Trainers), simulation, and practice with assistance. The results showed an increase in knowledge, skills, and positive attitudes of the target partners in the management of Community Reading Park and it facilitating Mathematics and Science literacy activities for children in RT 02 RW 04 Mangunsari, Gunungpati Semarang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' critical thinking skills through the Google Sites Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, both from the aspect of classical completeness and its superiority compared to conventional models, as well as the effect of learning motivation on critical thinking skills. Research also describes students' critical thinking skills based on the level of learning motivation. The method used is a mixture with sequential explanatory design, where the quantitative approach uses the post-test only control group design. The research population is all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 26 Semarang, with samples of class VIII A as an experimental and VIII B group as a control group. Research instruments in the form of a test of mathematical critical thinking skills, learning motivation questionnaires, and interviews, with data analysis using IBM SPSS 22. The results show that the PBL model assisted by Google Sites reaches classical completeness and is more effective than conventional models. Learning motivation has an influence of 38.5% on critical thinking skills. Further analysis shows that students with high motivation meet all indicators of critical thinking abilities, students with motivation are superior to indicators of interpretation, analysis, and evaluation, while students with low motivation are only superior to indicators of interpretation and analysis. This finding confirms that the PBL model assisted by Google Sites is effective in improving the ability of students' mathematical critical thinking, with learning motivation as one of the main supporting factors.

Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) play a strategic role in strengthening economic independence and optimizing local village potential. However, in various regions, including Cokro Village, Tulung District, Klaten Regency, several BUMDes have experienced institutional stagnation, resulting in the suboptimal functioning of their organizations. One such example is BUMDes Tirta Kencana, which had been inactive due to weak organizational structure and management. This community service activity aimed to reactivate the BUMDes through an institutional strengthening strategy based on reorganization and organizational structure arrangement. The implementation methods included problem identification, community socialization and forums, managerial training, reorganization deliberations, development of institutional documents, also mentoring and evaluation. The activity was carried out using a participatory-collaborative approach that actively involved the community in every stage. The results showed an increase in community awareness of the importance of village institutions, the formation of a new and more functional organizational structure, the preparation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and annual work plans, as well as an improvement in the managerial capacity of the administrators, as reflected in the increase in average understanding scores from 56.3 to 80.1 (an increase of 42%). These findings confirm that a participatory-collaborative approach is effective in reactivating inactive BUMDes while building community commitment to program sustainability.

Abstract

Enhancing Students' Mathematical Literacy through Ethnomathematics-Integrated Problem-Based Learning: A Study on Learning. This study addresses the issue of low mathematical literacy among junior high school students, particularly in relation to their learning independence. Objective: This study aims to (1) examine the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with an ethnomathematics approach in improving students’ mathematical literacy, (2) analyze the relationship between mathematical literacy and learning independence, and (3) analyze their literacy levels based on the degree of learning independence. This combination is important to investigate because it not only contextualizes mathematics within students’ cultural practices but also strengthens their learning independence, both of which are essential for the sustainable improvement of mathematical literacy. Method: A mixed-methods approach was employed using a sequential explanatory design. Quantitative analysis was conducted through a true experimental design with a posttest-only control group, while qualitative analysis was based on test results and interviews with students. Findings: The findings indicate that students in the experimental class using the ethnomathematics-based PBL model achieved higher mathematical literacy compared to those in the control class, which only used a Discovery Learning (DL) model. Additionally, learning independence has a positive effect on mathematical literacy. Students with high learning independence showed better fulfillment of literacy indicators, while those with medium and low learning independence showed varied levels of achievement in mathematical literacy. Conclusion: This study concludes that (1) the ethnomathematics-based PBL model is effective in improving mathematical literacy, (2) there is a relationship between mathematical literacy and learning independence, and (3) students with high, medium, and low learning independence have varying mathematical literacy. These findings highlight the importance of implementing a culturally integrated PBL model to enhance both cognitive and affective learning outcomes, while also emphasizing learning independence as an internal factor in supporting mathematical literacy development. Keywords: mathematical literacy, learning independence, PBL, ethnomathematics.

Abstract

Kendaraan adalah salah satu sarana utama pengangkutan, perpindahan atau pergerakan namun dalam pengoperasiannya menimbulkan seperti suara mesin yang keluar melalui knalpot maupun klakson menjadi sumber kebisingan. Kebisingan lalu lintas menjadi salah satu dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan dari pertumbuhan jumlah kendaraan bermotor. Tujuan dilakukanpenelitian untuk mengetahui tingkatan kebisingan lalu lintas di Desa Bergas Kidul. Metode pengukuran dilakukan secara langsung dilapangan menggunakan alat sound level meter dengan mengikuti lampiran II KEP No.48/MENLH/11/1996 tentang baku mutu tingkat kebisingan hingga didapat nilai kebisingan siang hari. Penelitian dilakukan di dua titik pengukuran yaituJl. Raya Semarang-Surakarta dan Jl. Raya Ungaran-Bandungan pada hari kerja dan weekend. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan titik pengamatan 1 yang bertempat di Jl. Semarang-Surakarta memiliki tingkat kebisingan tertinggi terjadi pada sore hari pada pukul 16:00 WIB 79.8 dB sedangkan titik 2 di Jl. Ungaran-Bandungan menunjukkan hasil pengukuran tertinggi pada sore hari yaitu pukul 16:00 WIB sebesar 78.5 dB. Pada weekend titik 1 tingkat kebisingan tertinggi terjadi pada pukul 09:00 WIB sebesar 83.9 dB sedangkan titik 2 menunjukkan tingkat kebisingan tertinggi justru terjadi saat malam hari pada pukul 20:00 WIB sebesar 78.1 dB.Kebisingan lalu lintas berasal dari suara yang dihasilkan dari kendaraan bermotor, terutama dari mesin kendaraan, knalpot, serta akibat interaksi antara roda dengan jalan. Kebisingan lalu lintas dapat menyebabkan dampak kesehatan dan psikologis. Dampak kesehatan cenderung muncul akibat pajanan senyawa-senyawa kimia dalam jumlah besar ke tubuh manusia.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan menu bantuan tahu kreasi daun kelor yang disusun melalui program DASHAT (Dapur Sehat Atasi Stunting), sebagai langkah penanganan stunting di Desa Ngemplak Kabupaten Karanganyar. Metode pengabdian ini adalah pendampingan secara detail menu bantuan tahu kreasi daun kelor serta mengecek dampaknya terhadap pertumbuhan anak-anak yang mengalami stunting. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen terkait program DASHAT. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa menu bantuan tahu kreasi daun kelor memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan kualitas gizi dan pertumbuhan anak-anak stunting. Konsumsi menu ini secara rutin dapat membantu mengatasi masalah gizi dan mendukung pemulihan kondisi stunting. Implikasi dari pengabdian ini adalah pentingnya pendekatan nutrisi berbasis lokal dalam penanganan stunting serta peran mahasiswa dan program DASHAT dalam memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap masyarakat pedesaan. Diharapkan hasil pengabdian ini dapat membuka jalan bagi implementasi lebih lanjut dari strategi serupa dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanggulangan stunting di daerah lain

Abstract

Abstrak. Permasalahan sosial pada remaja sekarang ini adalah pernikahan dini yang mana pernikahan dini ini marak terjadi di negara yang masih dalam berkembang seperti halnya di Indonesia. Hal ini ditunjukan dari hasil data yang diperoleh oleh UNICEF. Idealnya di dalam perkawinan sempurna terjadi pada usia 21 tahun. Faktor penyebab pernikahan dini pada masyarakat didasarkan antara lain rendahnya tingkat pendidikan. Berdasarkan berbagai penelitian, hubungan sosial remaja menjadi lebih fleksibel, tanggung jawab orang tua untuk mengasuh dan mengontrol hubungan anak menjadi berkurang, dan kehamilan di luar nikah berujung pada pernikahan dini. Dengan adanya sosialisasi ini remaja Desa Talun diharapkan paham mengenai dampak dari bahayanya pernikahan dini dan upaya pencegahan stunting agar nantinya tidak terburu-buru dalam melangsungkan pernikahan dini dan nantinya mereka dapat mengamalkan informasi ini pada teman-teman lainnya dalam upaya pencegahan stunting di Indonesia. Sosialisasi pernikahan dini dalam upaya pencegahan stunting ini diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan bagi para remaja Desa Talun. Maka dari itu dengan terkait maraknya pernikahan dini di Desa Talun ini perlunya ada pembinaan lebih lanjut dalam hal edukasi pernikahan dini dan juga masalah kesehatan yang berdampak nantinya.Abstract. Social problems in adolescents today are early marriages where early marriage is rife in developing countries such as Indonesia. This is shown from the results of data obtained by UNICEF. Ideally, a perfect marriage occurs at the age of 21. Factors causing early marriage in society are based on, among others, low levels of education. Based on various studies, adolescent social relationships become more flexible, parental responsibility to nurture and control children's relationships is reduced, and pregnancies out of wedlock lead to early marriage. With this socialization, Talun Village teenagers are expected to understand the impact of the dangers of early marriage and stunting prevention efforts so that later they will not rush into holding early marriages and later they can practice this information to other friends in efforts to prevent stunting in Indonesia. The socialization of early marriage in an effort to prevent stunting is expected to increase knowledge for the teenagers of Talun Village. Therefore, with the rise of early marriage in Talun Village, there is a need for further guidance in terms of early marriage education and also health problems that have an impact later.Keywords : Early Marriage; Stunting Prevention; Socialization

Abstract

Mathematical literacy and self-concept have become crucial topics in 21st century learning. So that learning innovation and the use of technology need to be carried out to support students' abilities to face the challenges of globalization. The purpose of this study is to describe students' mathematical literacy in terms of self-concept. This study uses a sequential explanatory design. The population in this study was class VIII of one of the junior high schools in Semarang Regency in the 2022/2023 academic year. Subjects in this study were selected using a purposive sampling method based on high, medium and low self-concept categories. Collecting data through test techniques, questionnaire techniques, interviews, and observation. The results showed that the mathematical literacy of students with high self-concept categories was better than students with moderate and low self-concept categories. Students with high self-concept are able to fulfill all indicators of mathematical literacy well; students with moderate self-concepts are able to master the three indicators of literacy but are still unable to apply mathematical concepts, facts, and procedures and represent answers in real-world contexts; students with low self-concept are only able to identify and represent problems mathematically while other indicators have not been fulfilled properly.
