Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of science learning using problem-based LKPD on the dimensions of focus, reason, and inference thinking abilities, as well as to analyze the relationship between focus, reason, and inference thinking abilities in science learning using problem-based LKPD. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research using a pretest-posttest control group design. The instruments used are a questionnaire and an expert validation sheet. Based on the two-tailed Asymp sig. value, it is 0.000 < 0.05. It can be concluded that the use of problem-based LKPD in science learning significantly affects the dimensions of focus, reasoning, and inference thinking skills. Furthermore, there is a significant relationship in the dimension of focus thinking ability with reasoning using problem-based LKPD in science learning, while for inference thinking ability, there is no significant relationship with focus thinking and reasoning ability.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop, describe the characteristics, logical feasibility, user response and effectiveness of wordwall learning media based on project based learning to improve the description writing skills of grade IV students of 113 Seluma public elementary school. The type of research used is R&D (Rescearch and Development) research with the ADDIE development model. The types of data used are qualitative and quantitative data using instruments in the form of interviews, needs analysis questionnaires, expert validation sheets, and user response questionnaires. The results of the study show that wordwall learning media is able to increase student interaction. Logically, wordwall learning media is feasible to use based on the results of material validation 0.95, linguists 0.83, media/design experts 0.95, which is a high validity category. User responses show a 100% percentage of the attractiveness of wordwall learning media. The effectiveness of wordwall learning media is very high, this is shown by the average N-Gain test of 85.65 or 86% which is included in the effective category. So it can be concluded that the use of wordwall learning media is able to improve the description writing skills of grade IV students of SD Negeri 113 Seluma.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of hand puppet media in learning on the motivation and storytelling skills of class II students at SDIT Darul Ilmi North Bengkulu. This research is a quasi experimental research with a quantitative approach. The data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires and performance or practical tests. The instruments used in this research were questionnaire sheets, skills assessment sheets, and teaching modules/RPP. The data that has been collected is then analyzed quantitatively using the SPSS application. Based on the research results, it was found that the use of hand puppet media in learning Indonesian has a significant effect on aspects of learning motivation. This is shown by the average posttest result of filling out the learning motivation questionnaire in the control class being 151. Meanwhile, the average posttest result in the experimental class is 165. The use of hand puppets in Indonesian language learning also has a significant effect on students' storytelling skills. This is shown by the average posttest of storytelling skills in the control class of 74 and the average posttest in the experimental class of 83. The conclusion of this research is that there is a significant influence of hand puppet media on motivation and storytelling skills. Furthermore, there is a relationship between motivation and storytelling skills using hand puppets.

Abstract

Kegiatan pendampingan bagi guru SD ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan guru tentang media khususnya multimedia pembelajaran IPA, meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam pembuatan multimedia pembelajaran IPA menggunakan Macromedia Flash 8 berbasis discovery learning. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah dengan observasional dan modelling dengan empat fase, yaitu: fase perhatian, fase retensi, fase reproduksi, dan fase motivasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi dan penyebaran angket. Hasil kegiatan pendampingan menunjukkan peningkatan, yakni (1) pemahaman guru tentang media pembelajaran dengan rata-rata sebesar 80,91 menjadi 92,46 pada posttest; (2) pemahaman guru tentang pembuatan multimedia pembelajaran IPA menggunakan Macromedia Flash 8 berbasis discovery learning dengan rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 80,00 pada pretest menjadi 95,36; (3) keterampilan dalam pembuatan multimedia pembelajaran IPA menggunakan Macromedia Flash 8 berbasis discovery learning dengan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 72,62 menjadi 90,25 pada posttest. Simpulan kegiatan ini adalah pendampingan guru SD dalam pembuatan multimedia pembelajaran IPA menggunakan Macromedia Flash 8 dapat meningkatkan pemahaman tentang media pembelajaran serta pemahaman dan keterampilan pembuatan multimedia pembelajaran IPA menggunakan Macromedia Flash 8 berbasis discovery learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a Character-Based Gurita Learning Media to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students. Using the ADDIE development model, the study involved two media experts, two subject matter experts, one fourth-grade teacher, and 20 students from SDN 44 Kota Bengkulu. Data were collected through expert validation sheets and user feasibility questionnaires. (1) The media consists of several components: (a) octopus head, (b) octopus body, (c) octopus arms, and (d) a support pole. (2) The media received high feasibility ratings from both media experts (score of 86) and content experts (score of 67), categorized as very feasible. (3) Teacher responses also rated it highly, with scores of 87 and 85, while the average score from student responses was 12.90. (4) A paired samples t-test showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with pretest scores rising from an average of 74.57 to 85.65 in the posttest, yielding a gain score of 0.44 in the moderate category. These results suggest that the Gurpensila media is highly suitable for use as a teaching aid in Pancasila Education, particularly for teaching the practice of Pancasila principles in fourth-grade elementary school.

Abstract

Elementary students' cognitive learning outcomes remain a challenge, particularly in understanding, remembering, and applying taught concepts. Low cognitive achievement is often caused by a lack of student engagement, unappealing teaching methods, and minimal use of interactive and contextual learning media. This study aims to develop and assess the feasibility of Sekujang culture-based comic media and determine its effectiveness in enhancing students' cognitive learning outcomes in Bahasa Indonesia learning. Using the R&D method with the ADDIE model, this study found that the comic media met the "very feasible" criteria based on expert assessments. The material validation scores increased from 37 and 39 in stage 1 to 55 and 58 in stage 2, while the design validation scores improved from 35 to 53 and 55. The effectiveness test using a paired t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000, indicating a significant improvement in students' cognitive learning outcomes. The experimental class achieved a gain score of 0.3756 (moderate), while the control class only reached 0.1686 (low). These findings suggest that the Sekujang culture-based comic media is an effective and engaging learning tool for Bahasa Indonesia instruction in elementary schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop, describe the level of feasibility, find out the user's response and find out the effectiveness of the Development Of Kepahiang Folk Story Teaching Materials “Origins Of Lubuk Lebar” Based On Picture Stories In Indonesian Language Learning For Strengthening Literacy Of Class IV Students At SDN 09 Kepahiang. The type of research used is research and development (Research and development). The research model in the development of teaching materials is the ADDIE model. The type of data used is quantitative and qualitative data using instruments in the form of interviews, needs analysis questionnaires, questions, expert validation sheets and user response questionnaires. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the teaching materials that have been developed are suitable for use as teaching materials in class IV Indonesian content. The results of expert validation were 0.95 from material expert validation and 0.94 from design expert validation, and 0.96 from linguist validation. The user response was very good because the results of the class IV teacher questionnaire analysis showed a percentage of 95% with very good criteria. As for the response from students, it obtained a percentage of 95.4% with very good criteria. The teaching materials developed are effective for increasing the literacy literacy of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 09 Kepahiang. This is based on the results of obtaining an average value of 80.5 with a completeness presentation of 83%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop, describe the level of feasibility, find out the user's response and find out the effectiveness of the caricature-based local folklore "Sosokan Taba" to improve learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SDN 03 Kepahiang". The type of research used is research and development   (Research   and   development).   The   research   model   in   the development of teaching materials is the ADDIE model. The type of data used is quantitative  and  qualitative  data  using  instruments in  the  form of  interviews, needs  analysis  questionnaires,  questions,  expert  validation  sheets  and  user response questionnaires. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the teaching materials that have been developed are suitable for use as teaching materials in class IV Indonesian content. The results of expert validation were 0.93 from material expert validation and 0.94 from design expert validation, and 0.95 from linguist validation. The user response was very good because the results of the class IV teacher questionnaire analysis showed a percentage of 94% with very good criteria. Meanwhile, the responses from students obtained a percentage of 94% with very good criteria. The teaching materials developed are effective for improving  the  learning  outcomes  of  fourth  grade  students  at  SD  Negeri  03 Kepahiang. This is based on the results of the average value of the experimental class that uses cartoon-based teaching materials to obtain a value of 75.08 while the control class obtains a value of 72.5 so that there is a significant difference between the control class and the experimental class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning Indonesian assisted by focusky media on the motivation and learning outcomes of fifth grade students at elementary school09 Kepahiang. This type of research is a quantitative research with quasi-experimental methods. The population in this study were fifth grade students at elementary school 09 Kepahiang. The research instrument was a learning motivation questionnaire sheet and learning achievement test questions. The data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis. Processing and analysis of the data carried out included determining the score of descriptive analysis questions, analysis of prerequisite tests, and inferential analysis. The results showed that the results of the learning motivation hypothesis test showed that the value of tcount using Equal Variations Assumed = 3.033 and the value of Sig. (2-tailed) has a value of 0.004 and the ttable distribution value is 2.011. So that tcount> ttable (3.033 > 2.011) and Sig.(2-tailed) 0.004 <0.05. The results of the hypothesis test show that the value of tcount using Equal Variances Assumed = 2.859 and the value of Sig. (2-tailed) has a value of 0.006 and the ttable distribution value is 2.011. So that tcount> ttable (2.859 > 2.011) and Sig.(2-tailed) 0.006 <0.05. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of Indonesian language learning assisted by focusky media on the motivation and learning outcomes of fifth grade students at elementary school09 Kepahiang.
