Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan para supervisor dalam melakukan supervisi akademik untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru di SMP Muhammadiyah Kasihan Bantul. Sasaran pengabdian ini adalah pengawas, kepala sekolah dan guru senior yang sudah berwenang menjadi supervisor sebanyak 20 orang. Metode Pengabdian dilakukan dengan berbagai tahapan. Tahap pertama, metode ceramah untuk mengubah mindset guru dan kepala sekolah dengan materi seven habit. Tahap kedua, metode bimbingan teknis dengan strategi konstekstual yakni mengkaitkan teori dan praktik supervisi akademik menggunakan aplikasi supervisi akademik berbasis andrioid (software ASA). Tahap ketiga, metode praktik terbimbing, meliputi teknik meng-install software ASA pada smartphone, mendampingi teknis penggunaan software ASA, melatih cara mengolah data dan menafsirkan data. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan para supervisor dalam penggunaan software ASA sebesar 80% (kategori tinggi) terjadi juga peningkatan kinerja guru setelah dilakukan supervisi akademik sebesar 78% (kategori tinggi). Dengan demikian, kegiatan bimbingan teknis pemanfaatan software ASA ini dikatagorikan berhasil dengan baik karena mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta supervisor secara menyeluruh, baik penguasaan teori maupun praktik.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang ditemukan di Dusun Brajan Tamantirto Kasihan Bantul, antara lain: adanya potensi bahan alami berupa aneka ragam tumbuhan yang belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik, kurangnya ketrampilan ibu ibu aktivis aisyiyah dalam mengelola potensi alam desa untuk meningkatkan penghasilan, dan belum membudayanya batik yang ramah lingkungan di kalangan ibu ibu aktivis aisyiyah. Tujuan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini yaitu: (1) memberikan solusi berupa pemanfaatan potensi bahan alam yang dimiliki dusun Brajan, dan (2) meningkatkan keterampilan aktivis aisyiyah dalam menciptakan batik yang alami. (3) menambah sumber ekonomi keluarga. Kontribusi Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini yaitu Melalui pelatihan pembuatan ecoprint dengan memanfaatkan bahan alami yang ada di lingkungan Dusun Brajan Tamantirto Kasihan, maka dapat memberikan manfaat langsung terhadap kehidupan aktivis aisyiyah dan masyarakat Brajan di bidang sosial dan ekonomi melalui ketrampilan batik ecoprint serta dapat meningkatkan kualitas sumberdaya melalui pemberdayaan ibu-ibu aktivis Aisyiyah Ranting Tamantirto Tengah yang meliputi Sembilan Kelompok Majlis Taklim di Dusun Brajan Tamantirto Kasihan. Hasil Pelatihan ecoprint ini (1) dapat meningkatkan kesadaran aktivis Aisyiyah untuk memanfaatkan potensi desa untuk meningkatkan kesehjahteraan keluarga. (2) dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan dalam membuat batik yang berasal dari bahan alam. (3) dapat menambah pendapatan keluarga.

Abstract

This research is aimed to describe the school image management during the era of the Covid-19 pandemic in Budi Mulia Dua Junior High School Yogyakarta. This type of research belongs to qualitative research. The subjects of this research were the headmaster, teacher, employees, and student representatives, parents, and local authorities. The data collecting techniques applied were interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques were data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests were applied to test the data validity. The research was conducted through four stages. The first stage was preparing activities based on field situations and conditions, referring to the vision and mission, designing methods and techniques, and equipping facilities and infrastructure. The second stage was the organization dividing the work team based on the teachers’ and employees’ abilities. The third stage was the implementing principal, leading, mobilizing, and motivating teachers and employees to carry out the tasks according to the plan by minding the health protocols. Program activities that used online media used the website, Instagram, Zoom meeting, Google classroom, Youtube, Tik Tok, and WhatsApp Groups. The fourth stage was the supervision utilizing holding evaluation meetings to obtain data of the report results of the report, followed by revisions.

Abstract

This research aims to find the concept of child education in the story of the single true mother in the Qur'an. The study uses library studies with subjective hermeneutic approaches. The results of the study were found: first, the current status of single mother hakiki and single mother majazi. Second, the relevance of children's education in the story of single mothers follows the stage of the psychology of child development. It is starting from the prenatal phase, covering the child's spiritual and physical education. In the postnatal period, it includes education, supervision and responsible children. Child education in a single mother is done holistically, not partially and not mechanically

Abstract

Lingkungan keluarga dan sosial mempengaruhi karakter anak-anak. Nilai-nilai religiusitas sangat dibutuhkan oleh anak-anak. Karenanya, artikel ini membahas sebuah penelitian mengenai strategi keluarga muslim dalam penguatan religiusitas anak pada masyarakat multi agama gunungkidul, untuk mengkaji bagaimana keberhasilan keluarga muslim dalam penguatan religiusitas anak, untuk menemukan faktor penghambat dan strategi mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian fenomenologis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah keluarga muslim yang mempunyai anak usia 6-12 tahun. Selain itu, berdasarkan karakteristik latar belakang pendidikan agama orang tua, pekerjaan, dan ketokohan dalam masyarakat kuwangen lor. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teori dari Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan.  Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah 1. Strategi keluarga muslim dalam penguatan religiusitas anak: Keteladanan dalam penguatan aqidah, pembiasaan dalam ibadah, pemberian nasehat, pengawasan terhadap pergaulan anak, keteladanan dalam berperilaku, serta penerapan hadiah dan hukuman yang mendidik. 2. Keberhasilan keluarga muslim dalam penguatan religiusitas anak yaitu terdapat tiga tingkatan. Kategori sangat baik terdapat pada aspek pengetahuan agama, praktik agama dan konsekuensi karena menggunakan empat strategi yaitu keteladanan, nasehat, pembiasaan, hadiah dan hukuman mendidik. Kategori baik terdapat pada aspek keyakinan, karena menggunakan tiga strategi yaitu keteladanan, pembiasaan dan nasehat. Kategori cukup terdapat pada aspek penghayatan karena menggunakan dua strategi yaitu nasehat dan keteladanan.3. Faktor penghambat yaitu kurangnya ilmu pengetahuan, pemahaman agama, pola pengasuhan anak oleh orang tua, penggunaan HP dan televisi yg berlebihan serta pergaulan teman sebaya. Strategi mengatasi hambatan yaitu membuat jadwal kesepakatan antara orang tua dengan anak, memberikan hadiah dan hukuman yang mendidik, dan memberikan fasilitas penunjang untuk penguatan religiusitas anak.

Abstract

With the emergence of various conflicts due to differences in religious views, it is necessary to prevent and increase awareness of the importance of religious moderation in society through studying the values of tolerance in Al Munir's Tafsir. This study aims to examine the content of tolerance values in QS. al-Kāfirūn in Tafsir al-Munῑr to strengthen the attitude of religious moderation. This type of research was library research with a qualitative approach. The primary source was from the book Tafsir al-Munῑr by Wahbah Az-Zuḥaili, and the secondary sources were relevant to this research. The documentation collected data. Then the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and content analysis. The results showed that al Munir's Tafsir of Tolerance values on QS. Al-Kāfirūn covers aspects of aqidah, shari'ah and morals. The Akidah aspect contains respect for non-Muslim beliefs, but not to the point of justifying them because a Muslim must believe that the only true religion is Islam. The Sharia aspect contains worship and muamalah. The Worship aspect has given the freedom to non-Muslims to worship according to their beliefs. The Muamalah aspect includes orders to be fair to non-Muslims. The moral element contains the command to speak softly but also applies harshly and firmly when non-Muslims disturb the creed of Muslims. The implication of this research for the community is that a correct understanding of tolerance will increase the attitude of religious moderation in society so that religious harmony can be realized.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan gadget dan peran pola asuh orang tua terhadap akhlak pelajar di SMP Muhammadiyah se Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan model korelasional. Sampel 280 siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah se Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknis analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan program bantuan AMOS. Hasil analisis CFA memenuhi kriteria Goodness of Fit yaitu nilai Chi-square 30,312, Sig-Probability 0,175, CMIN/DF 1,263, GFI 0,979, CFI 0,992, TLI 0,985, NFI 0,964, RMSEA 0,031dan RMR 0,124, menunjukkan bahwa model penelitian yang diajukan dinyatakan fit. Hasil penelitian ini yang dianalisis dengan model SEM ditemukan bahwa: Pertama, penggunaan gadget memberikan berpengaruh yang signifikan terhadap akhlak (sig.p 0,001 dan loading factor 0,20). Kedua, variabel pola asuh orang tua juga memberikan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap akhlak (sig.p 0,001 dan loading factor 0,35). Temuan dari penelitian ini bahwa penggunaan gadget peserta didik dan pola asuh orang tua yang baik akan memberikan pengaruh terhadap akhlak.

Abstract

The difficulty experienced by the board members of the Khoirunnisa Taklim Council in managing the elderly TPA is the low motivation and ability to read Al-Quran in elderly women. They complained that the Iqro method used was considered too serious and monotonous so that the mothers had difficulty and lack of enthusiasm in learning to read the Koran. Thus, this service program aims to introduce the Ummi method and the 10-hour learning method of reading Al-Quran for elderly TPA teachers. This service program method is carried out in four stages, namely planning, implementation, technical assistance, and evaluation of service success. The results of this service program show that; (1) Workshops on the Qur'anic learning method using the Ummi method and the 10-hour method have been able to improve the insight and skills of elderly TPA teachers; (2) The 10-hour Quran reading learning method is more desirable than the UMMI method because it is free and easy to implement. Meanwhile, Ummi's method was considered too procedural and expensive to follow; (3) The 10-hour learning method for reading the Koran is proven to be effective in increasing the motivation of elderly mothers in learning to read the Koran because the material is easily accessible, shared, and practical. The implication of this service for the community is that in learning Al-Quran, it must prioritize the elements of fun, convenience, and according to the age of the students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in emotional and social intelligence assessment between public and private school students using Android-based PKES (Penilaian Kecerdasan Emosional-Sosial or Social-Emotional Intelligence Assessment) application in strengthening student character during the pandemic. This survey study with a quantitative approach was analyzed using a comparative model. The subjects were 120 parents and students of public and private elementary schools in Yogyakarta chosen by purposive sampling. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and Likert scale tests with the PKES application and analyzed by t-test. It reveals that state elementary school students' emotional and social intelligence emphasizes the psychomotor aspect or good behavior with the habituation method. Meanwhile, private elementary school students emphasize the cognitive aspect of character knowledge through the lecture method. The affective aspect of social-emotional intelligence in public and private elementary schools is still low. Students have not been trained to feel the good character impact with various methods, so good behavior will not last until they are old because it has not been embedded in their hearts. Different tests with t-test obtained 0.3780.05, so the difference is insignificant. The emotional and social intelligence of public and private elementary school children during the pandemic is not much different. Because students study at home during the pandemic, their character is more influenced by parents than teachers. It implies that parents and teachers should more often train students to feel happy doing good deeds, so good character is embedded in the heart and lasts for a long time.
