Abstract

Majasto village was designated by the government as a Religious Tourism Area through the Sukoharjo Regency Spatial Plan. However, to support this, Majasto Village does not have a good management system and regional planning of village-owned enterprises (Badan Usaha Milik Desa/Bumdes) to encourage its economic acceleration. This program aims to develop a tourism village area plan and optimal financial management for Bumdes. The method used is through mapping both physical and non-physical potentials of the village to obtain detailed information, which is done by conducting a mapping or survey to identify natural and artificial physical potential, as well as socioeconomic and historical aspects to understand the potential and problems through SWOT analysis. The results of this program are in the form of a Tourism Village Master Plan and a Priority Area Plan. The second result is the initiation of financial digitization training through Bumdes Financial Accounting System. This is done to ensure that Bumdes can record transactions and financial reporting properly. The integration of the development of Bumdes business unit based on the Tourism Village Master Plan and the Priority Area Plan (the first stage result) and the Bumdes Profile (the second stage result).

Abstract

According to data from the Center for Diseases Control from 2004-2021, the prevalence of postpartum depression was 11.5% from 27 countries (Rockhill et al, 2017). The incidence of postpartum depression in Asia is quite high and varies between 3.5% to 63.3% (Yusuff ASM et al, 2015). According to the Ministry of Health (2019), it explains that Baby blues syndrome or postpartum stress, is a very mild form of depression which usually occurs in the first 14 days after giving birth and tends to get worse around the third or fourth day after giving birth. Almost all mothers who have just given birth experience baby blues. This study aims to determine the relationship between age and husband's support for pregnant women on the prevention of baby blues in PMB Azimah, Jambi City. This research uses a quantitative type of research with a cross sectional research design. The population in this study was 354 pregnant women who checked for pregnancy from January to March 2023 at PMB Azimah, Jambi City. The sampling technique was simple random sampling technique with a total sample of 35 pregnant women. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test. The research results showed that most of the known ages of pregnant women in PMB Azimah, Jambi City who were at risk were categorized as 20 years 35 years with good knowledge of 4 people (11.4%) and poor knowledge of 28 people (80.0%). Most of the known husband's support for pregnant women in PMB Azimah, Jambi City who are at risk is categorized as negative, with 6 people (17.1%) having good knowledge and 16 people (45.7%) with poor knowledge. The Chi-Square test results obtained a value of p = 0.017 for mother's age, p = 0.039 for husband's support. The conclusion of this research is that there is a relationship between age and husband's support for pregnant women on the prevention of baby blues in PMB Azimah, Jambi City. Abstract

Chaetodon octofasciatus is a species of fish in the Chaetodontidae family, commonly known as an indicator fish in the reef ecosystem as the frequency of its appearance in the wild can interfere with the state of the coral reef ecosystem in the waters. Panjang Island is located in Jepara, Central Java, Indonesia, in which one method of coral reef ecosystem rehabilitation in a a form of Artificial Patch Reef (APR) has been implemented. This study aims to investigate the levels of C. octofasciatus predation on corals in the APR and Natural reef of Panjang Island. We used the LIT (Line Intercept Transect) to measure the density of coral reefs at both locations. The abundance of C. octofasciatus was calculated using the Belt Transect method, while selectivity and bite ratio was observed and counted every 5 minutes. The results shows that C. octofasciatus from natural reefs have the highest predation rate (185 bites/5 min) and mostly eat the coral with lifeform massive while the ones from APR shows 144 bites/5 min and mostly eat the coral with lifeform Acropora branching. This selectivity could be due to the availability of corals in both areas. While massive corals were highly available in the natural reefs, branchich corals esp. Acropora is mostly planted in the APR. A more diverse coral lifeform in the natural reef also showed the type of corals that are less selected by C. octofasciatus such as submassive corals and Acropora tabulate, as well as corals with the foliose life form.

Abstract

Several effects of global warming, particularly coral bleaching, have threatened the symbiotic system of coral reefs. Coral reefs perform a reciprocal system that coincides with coral and their algal symbiont, the environment, and human activities. Nowadays, the system has been threatened by local and global stressors, including global warming.  Understanding the ecological resilience of coral reefs to temperature stress relied heavily on the functional variations between algae symbionts as well as their genotypes. Indonesian coral reefs which play a critical value in supporting the reef fisheries, have been reported to experience bleaching events. However, a few reports were on the symbiont type of Indonesian corals.  This study investigates the Symbiodiniaceae communities of coral hosts of Panjang Island and Karimunjawa Archipelago in Java Sea, and Tulamben Waters, Bali using internal transcribed spacer two (ITS2) amplicon sequencing. In total, 63 sequences out of 119 coral colonies from 16 genera were obtained from Panjang Island, Karimunjawa Archipelago, and Tulamben waters, Bali. All sequences showed approximately 600 bp in the length of the amplified ITS-rDNA region. The BLAST homology analysis of ITS-rDNA region sequences showed that samples matched Cladocopium sp. and Durusdinium sp. with similarities ranging between 96.79-100%. Cladocopium dominated the symbiont type of the Acropora, and Porites, While Durusdinium is the dominant symbiont in the Pavona, Both algal can be found in Pocillopora sp, Montipora sp, Goniastrea sp., and Lobophyllia sp. The occurrence of the two symbiont types suggests that coral species may adopt heat-tolerant Symbiodiniaceae to adapt to the high environmental temperatures.
