Abstract

The development of industry cluster and business network is believed to be able to improve the ability and competitiveness for small and medium enterprises (Industri Kecil dan Menengah/ IKM) because it can cope with IKM limitation to catch the chance of market share which needs high output production, homogenity standard and regular production. The facts in many countries show how the comparative advantages have shifted from natural based economy and low cost of work force to knowledge based economy. Thus, the ability of IKM to create, access and comercialize new knowledge to global market will determine continual competitiveness.

Abstract

Treasury Office Pilot Jambi, Bangko and Muara Bungo require high performance to provide excellent service to stakeholders in the region. Work motivation encourage a person to perform the activity and effect on employee performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of variables of work motivation, leadership styles and disciplines working on employee performance on Treasury Office Pilot Jambi, Bangko, and Muara Bungo. The independent variables are work motivation, leadership styles and disciplines working mean while employee performance as dependent variable. The sampling technique using the census method, where all the population being sampled. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study in line with the study of theory used in this research is to work motivation variables according to Herzberg's theory that that can form a personal motivation to improve performance in achieving the goals of the organization, leadership style variable in line with the theory of Goal Line developed by Robert House where leadership style can help employees to improve their performance. As for the variable labor discipline in line with the opinion of labor discipline Hasibuan which will affect the performance of the employee. The results of the study showed that the variables of work motivation, leadership styles and work discipline has a significant influence on the performance of employees at the Treasury Office Pilot Jambi, Bangko and Muara. KPPN Percontohan Jambi, Bangko dan Muara Bungo memerlukan kinerja yang tinggi untuk memberikan pelayanan yang prima kepada stakeholder di wilayah kerjanya. Kinerja pegawai dipengaruhi oleh motivasi kerja yang merupakan pendorong bagi seseorang untuk melakukan aktivitas dangaya kepemimpinan yaitu cara pemimpin memanfaatkan kekuatan yang tersedia untuk memimpin para pegawainya serta disiplin kerja yang merupakan kesadaran dan kesediaan pegawai menaati semua peraturan yang berlaku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari variabel motivasi kerja, gaya kepemimpinan dan disipilin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada KPPN Percontohan Jambi, Bangko dan Muara Bungo. Variabel yang digunakan adalah motivasi kerja, gaya kepemimpinan dan disiplin kerja sebagai variabel bebas dan kinerja pegawai sebagai variabel terikat. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah dengan menggunakan metode sensus, dimana semua populasi menjadi sampel. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian sejalan dengan kajian teori yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk variabel motivasi kerja sesuai dengan teori Herzberg bahwa motivasi dapat membentuk pribadi yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja dalam pencapaian tujuan organisasi, untuk variabel gaya kepemimpinan sejalan dengan teori Jalur Sasaran yang dikembangkan oleh Robert House dimana gaya kepemimpinan dapat membantu pegawai untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya. Sedangkan untuk variabel disiplin kerja sejalan dengan pendapat Hasibuan dimana disiplin kerja akan berpengaruh pada kinerja pegawai yang bersangkutan. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian bahwa variabel motivasi kerja, gaya kepemimpinan dan disiplin kerja mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada KPPN Percontohan Jambi, Bangko dan Muara Bungo.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is examine the influence of organizational culture, organizational communication, working environment, and motivation on organizational commitment to enhance employee performance. The use of variables is based on the results of previous studies. The study was conducted at BPS-Statistic Provincial in Bengkulu Province with respondents about 200 employees. The analytical method used is the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The purpose of SEM is obtaining the best structural model of the model developed. The result indicates that organizational culture have not positif and significant impact on performance, organizational culture have positive and significant impact on organizational commitment, organizational communication have not significant impact on performance, organizational communication have not significant impact on organizational commitment, motivation have positive effect but not significant to the performance, motivation have positive effect and significant on organizational commitment, working environment have not positif and significant effect on employee performance, and working environment have not signifikan and significant effect on organizational commitment. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh budaya organisasi, komunikasi organisasi, lingkungan kerja, dan motivasi terhadap komitmen organisasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Penggunaan variabel-variabel tersebut berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdahulu. Penelitian dilakukan BPS Provinsi/ Kabupaten/ Kota di Provinsi Bengkulu dengan responden sebanyak 200 pegawai. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis Structural Equation Modeling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja, budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi, komunikasi organisasi tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja, komunikasi organisasi tidak signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi, motivasi berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja, motivasi berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen organisasi, lingkungan kerja tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, lingkungan kerja tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi.

Abstract

This research is conducted to analyze the influence of fundamental factor of company to stock return on coal mining sector which listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in year 2014-2016. Fundamental factors are represented by CR, MP/TA, FA/TA, DER and ROA. The object of this research is the coal mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which submits the financial statements during the period 2014-2016. The sample of this research consists of 11 companies and 33 observations. Statistical methods used in this research is multiple regression analysis.The results of this research indicate that FA/TA and ROA affect stock return on coal mining sector which listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in year 2014-2016, while CR, MP/TA, and DER  do not affect to stock return on coal mining sector which listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in year 2014-2016. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor fundamental perusahaan terhadap return saham pada sektor pertambangan batu bara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2014-2016. Faktor fundamental di wakili oleh CR, MP/TA, FA/TA, DER dan ROA. Obyek penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang termasuk di dalam sektor pertambangan batu bara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia yang menyampaikan laporan keuangan sepanjangperiode tahun 2014-2016. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 11 perusahaandengan jumlah pengamatan sebanyak 33 pengamatan. Metode statistik yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisa regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa FA/TA dan ROAmemberikan pengaruh teradap return saham pada sektor pertambangan batu bara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2014-2016, sedangkan CR, MP/TA dan DER tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap return saham pada sektor pertambangan batu bara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2014-2016.

Abstract

Efficiency is a parameter to measure performance quality of a company or agency, including manufacture industrial. One of tools was used to measure technical efficiency is Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). This article attempts to investigate the existence of difference technical efficiency between sub sector in manufacture industry in Indonesia period 1990-2002 using DEA. This estimation result discovered that the generally performance of manufacture sector industrial in Indonesia growth in spanning perception 1990 and 2002 relative stabilize altought have decrease percentage of efficiency in economic crisis. On the contrary, these conditions do not followed by disparity efficiency growth between sub sectors which exactly experience of negative growth at perception period. The fact sign that policy strategy industrialize during the time not improve yet high level productivity, but on the other hand policy strategy industrialize during the time have enough succeeded to develop equity level between sub sector in manufacture industry

Abstract

Finding a determinant of profitability has become one of the most popular topics in banking research. Previous research has identified many factors that significantly influence bank profitability. There are also many studies that measure the effectiveness of sharia banking globally, but few analyze the profitability issues of sharia banks. This study aims to analyze the impact of factors affecting profitability in Islamic Banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The variables are return on assets as dependent variable and murabahah, musyarakah, mudharabah, branch office, cash office, and Automatic Teller Machine as independent variable. This study found that funding factors such as murabaha, musharaka and conventional and electronic networking factors such as Branch Office, Cash Office, and ATM had positive and significant impact on profitablity of Sharia Bank, while mudharabah had a negative and significant influence on profitablitas Sharia Bank. Sub-Branch Offices also had a negative but insignificant effect on the profitability of Sharia Banks. This result indicated that income on management became the most dominant income in generating profit of sharia banking. However, the management of funds could not work if not supported by Islamic banking channeling tools.

Abstract

Sri Ismulyaty dan Etty Puji Lestari; The company's goal is to develop a variety of marketing strategies to improve the profitability of the company, so the company's management to focus on efforts to identify the customer, because the philosophy of marketing shows that the profit can be created through the satisfaction perceived by customers. Work motivation is believed to be influential in arousing, directing, and maintaining behavior in the work environment to develop achievement. Several studies have suggested a link between work motivation with employee performance. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of learning orientationof 46 employee performance at the Open University. We used stratified random sampling method. Data used in this study were primary data from the respondents and secondary data. The results showed that there is a positive relationship between learning orientation with employee performance shown by the value of the original sample estimate of 0.854 and a t-statistic of 4,228 is greater than the t-test is 1.96. While the relationship work motivation and performance have negative impact.Keywords : learning orientation, motivation, performance
