Abstract

Sri Ismulyaty dan Etty Puji Lestari; The company's goal is to develop a variety of marketing strategies to improve the profitability of the company, so the company's management to focus on efforts to identify the customer, because the philosophy of marketing shows that the profit can be created through the satisfaction perceived by customers. Work motivation is believed to be influential in arousing, directing, and maintaining behavior in the work environment to develop achievement. Several studies have suggested a link between work motivation with employee performance. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of learning orientationof 46 employee performance at the Open University. We used stratified random sampling method. Data used in this study were primary data from the respondents and secondary data. The results showed that there is a positive relationship between learning orientation with employee performance shown by the value of the original sample estimate of 0.854 and a t-statistic of 4,228 is greater than the t-test is 1.96. While the relationship work motivation and performance have negative impact.Keywords : learning orientation, motivation, performance

Abstract

At present, investment is considered important in line with the uncertainty of global economic conditions. The public is required to be creative in financial management. Among them is by investing in Islamic mutual funds. This study aims to analyze the short-term and long-term effects of Bank Indonesia interest rates, exchange rates and inflation on the performance of Islamic mutual funds in Indonesia using the Error Correction Model. The results show that in the short-term and long-term periods simultaneously, all variables (Bank Indonesia interest rates, exchange rates and inflation) significantly influence the performance of Islamic mutual funds in Indonesia. In the short-term period, the exchange rate and inflation partially have a positive and insignificant effect, while Bank Indonesia interest rates have a negative and no significant effect on the performance of Islamic mutual funds. In the long term period, the exchange rate and inflation partially have a positive and significant effect, while Bank Indonesia interest rates have a negative and significant effect on the performance of sharia mutual funds.

Abstract

The National Police Education and Training Institute is a supporting element in the Indonesian National Police whose task is to plan, develop and carry out educational functions in the context of “Creating Tribrata Persons who are moral, professional, modern and superior”. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture and work motivation on employee performance with employee engagement as a mediating variable at the Indonesian National Police Education and Training Institute. The population in this study were all personnel of the National Police Education and Training Center and a sample of 202 people was obtained using the slovin formula. Data was collected using a online questionnaire. The data that has been collected is analyzed by path analysis using PLS. The results of data analysis show that: (1) Organizational culture variable has a direct and significant influence on employee performance, (2) Work motivation variable has a direct and significant influence on employee performance, (3) Organizational culture variable has a direct but not significant effect on employee engagement, (4) Variables of work motivation have a direct and significant influence on employee engagement (5) Variables of organizational culture and work motivation have an indirect influence on employee performance with employee engagement as a mediating variable at the National Police Education and Training Institute (6) Variables of employee engagement have an influence on employee performance

Abstract

Spillover tenaga kerja Propinsi Jawa Tengah tahun 2019 cukup tinggi 60.432 pekerja setelah Propinsi Jawa Timur, yaitu 68.740 pekerja. Spillover tenaga kerja Propinsi Jawa Tengah diduga karena jumlah penduduk yang banyak di Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Faktor pendorong Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) berniat bekerja keluar negeri adalah untuk memperoleh pendapatan yang layak sehingga selisih pendapatan dan biaya hidupnya dapat dikirim keluarganya di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dampak spillover Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan matriks bobot spasial dengan pendekatan Euclidean Distance untuk menghitung Spatial Autoregressive Model (SAR), Spatial Error Model (SAR), dan Spatial Durbin Model (SDM). Simpulan Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut : Spillover tenaga kerja Propinsi Jawa Tengah yang diwujudkan dalam bentuk pekerja Migran Indonesia asal Jawa Tengah kebanyakan berasal dari Kabupaten Cilacap, Kabupaten Kendal, Kabupaten Brebes, Kabupaten Banyumas, Kabupaten Pati, Kabupaten Grobogan, Kabupaten Kebumen, Kabupaten Wonosobo, dan Kabupaten Batang dengan tingkat pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) dengan jenis kelamin wanita kebanyakan bekerja pada negara Negara Hongkong, Negara Taiwan, Negara Malaysia, Negara Singapura, Negara Korea Selatan, Negara Brunai Darussalam, dan Negara Saudi Arabia.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ingin menganalisis pola interaksi spasial dari jumlah jamaah haji dari 29 kabupaten dan 6 kota di Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan matriks bobot spasial Euclidean Distance untuk mengukur Local Moran’ I. Penelitian ini menggunakan data dari tahun 2015 sampai 2019 dari 29 kabupaten dan 6 kota di Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Penggunaan data dilakukan dari tahun 2015 sampai dengan tahun 2019 karena adanya keterbatasan data. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah Hasil penelitian ini diketahui adanya pola interaksi spasial jumlah keberangkatan jamaah haji tahun 2015, dan tahun 2019 dari 29 kabupaten dan 6 kota yang divergen atau menyebar. Hal ini diduga karena adanya jumlah kuota keberangkatan haji dan masa waktu tunggu (delay time) yang lama di kabupaten/kota tertentu sehingga calon jamaah berkeinginan mendaftar di kabupaten/kota lainnya. Jumlah keberangkatan jamaah haji tahun 2019 menurun. Semula tahun 2015 ada ada 31.957 jamaah haji menjadi 30.707 jamaah haji tahun 2019 diduga karena kebanyakan jumlah jamaah berusia lanjut dan beriko tinggi dengan komorbit (penyakit penyerta) yang diderita oleh jamaah haji, sehingga jumlah kuota keberangkatan dikurangi. Kebanyakan jumlah jamaah haji yang berangkat berproprofesi di bidang swasta, dan pegawai negeri sipil.

Abstract

Tenaga kerja sangat berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Propinsi Jawa Tengah melalui produktivitas tenaga kerja. Pandemi covid 19 yang terjadi di Propinsi Jawa Tengah pada awal bulan Maret tahun 2020 menganggu kesehatan tenaga kerja Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Kesehatan tenaga kerja yang terapar covid-19 menurunkan tingkat pertumbuhan Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pola interaksi spasial tenaga kerja lokal Propinsi Jawa Tengah secara global. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel 29 kabupaten dan 6 kota dari tahun 2011 sampai dengan 2020. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Global Moran’ I dengan matriks bobot spasial Euclidean Distance. Simpulan Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut : hasil penelitian empiris nilai koefisien Global Moran’s I negatif pada tenaga kerja dari 2011 sampai dengan 2020 mengidentifikasikan bahwa pola interaksi spasial tenaga kerja Propinsi Jawa Tengah yang divergen atau menyebar dari kabupaten/ kota ke kabupaten/kota. Hal ini diduga karena adanya jarak antar wilayahnya dekat dan waktu jarak tempuhnya yang singkat. Hal ini diduga karena adanya pemberlakuan kebijakan pchysical distancing dan social distancing disertai dengan kebijakan work from home pada tahun 2020,. Hal ini membawa konsekuensi 2,5 persen tenaga kerja mengalami pemutusan hubungan kerja, ada 14,9 persen tenaga kerja bekerja sementara atau dirumahkan, ada 55, 4 persen tenaga kerja yang masih bekerja, tenaga kerja terpaksa tidak bekerja 27,1 persen. tenaga kerja Propinsi Jawa Tengah yang melakukan work from home berdasarkan pendidikan kebanyakan tenaga kerja dengan pendidikan sarjana ada 46,9 persen, diikuti dengan tenaga kerja dengan tingkat pendidikan diploma 37,60 persen, dan tenaga kerja dengan pendidikan SMA atau SMK ada 27,10 persen. Tenaga kerja Propinsi Jawa Tengah yang terdampak covid 19 tahun 2020 adalah sektor penyediaan akomodasi dan trasnportasi ada 82,6 persen, sektor perdagangan besar, perdagangan eceran, reparasi mobil, reparasi sepeda motor 69,2 persen, sektor transportasi dan pergudangan 66,7 persen.

Abstract

The challenges faced by the National Food and Drug Agency in Bengkulu in carrying out the task are large, both internally and externally, in the effort to achieve organizational performance. The demand for bureaucratic reform in the government system in Indonesia requires organizations to make changes in many aspects. The purpose of this study was to analyze whether motivation, organizational commitment and work environment affect performance. This research was conducted on employees of the National Food and Drug Agency in Bengkulu with a population of 63 people. The sample used was 61 people. The independent variables in this study are motivation, organizational commitment and work environment, while the dependent variable is performance. Variable measurements are carried out using a likert scale. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 16 software. The results of the analysis showed that motivation, organizational commitment and work environment simultaneously or together had a significant and positive effect on performance by 49.3% while 50.7% were influenced by other variables. outside of this research model. While partially there is no influence between motivation variables on performance, there is a significant and positive influence of organizational commitment and work environment on the performance of the employees of the National Food and Drug Agency in Bengkulu.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of internal and external factors on the profitability of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia during 2012-2018. The internal factors used in this study are derived from bank-specific factors such as capital adequacy ratio (CAR), efficiency ratio/operation costs on operating income (BOPO), financing to deposit ratio (FDR), and non-performing financing (NPF). The external factor used in this study such as interest rate, inflation, and Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The profitability of Sharia Comercial Banks proxied by Return on Assets (ROA). The Population of this study is 11 Sharia Commercial Banks that publish financial reports during the quarterly period 2012-2018. The novelty of this study such as, comprehensive study of Sharia Banking, using quarterly data, using macroeconomic factors which in previous studies were not discussed in-depth, and using panel data regression analysis. The result of this study indicates that  CAR and GDP have a significant positive effect on ROA. Meanwhile, BOPO, FDR and NPF has significant  negative effect on ROA

Abstract

Giving rewards and punishments is an instrument used to increase employee motivation. However, in its implementation, reward and punishment also have an impact on demotivation. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership, reward, and punishment on employee performance at PT. Telkom Indonesia Witel Bandung. This study uses a quantitative approach, namely through multiple regression analysis. This study used 40 research data obtained from the sampling with the purposive random sampling method. This study also shows that leadership, reward, and punishment significantly affect the performance of the employees of PT. Telkom Indonesia Witel Bandung. Increased leadership, reward, punishment, and leadership, reward, and punishment can be promoted to improve goals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Altman z-score method on financial distress with the independent variables namely WCTA, RETA, EBITTA, MVETL, and STA on the dependent variable, namely Financial Distress. In manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2020. Based on the research results that have been described previously, it can be concluded that:In calculating the Altman z-score method in the research year the company is categorized: Safe : CTRA company for 3 years of research, Gray Area : SQBB company for 5 years research, Financial distress: BTEK and AISA companies for 3 years of research. The ratio of Working Capital to Total Assets (WCTA) has a significant effect on Financial Distress. The ratio of Retained Earnings to Total Assets (RETA) has no significant effect on Financial Distress. The ratio of Earnings Before Interest and Taxes to Total Assets (EBITTA) has a significant effect on Financial Distress. The Market Value of Equity to Total Liability (MVETL) ratio has no significant effect on Financial Distress.Ratio of Sales to Total Assets (STA) has a significant effect on Financial Distress. Recommendations for companies to maintain financial ratios (WCTA, RETA, EBTTA, MVETL, and STA) so that companies avoid bankruptcy and can still strive to create improvements to financial ratios (WCTA, EBITTA, and STA) based on research these ratios have a significant effect to financial distress. For researchers to be able to further develop research similar to financial distress such as bankruptcy risk, as well as analysis of financial ratios that can be expanded to do better. In this case, it is not only the types of food and beverage industry companies, but also other types of industrial companies. Subsequent research can use a period of more than five years so that it is expected to be a useful comparison basis for further research.
