Abstract

Sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L.) is a widely cultivated crop in Indonesia, valued for its high economic potential and versatility. The Cilembu variety, originating from West Java, has been recognized for its high yield potential. This study aimed to determine the optimal harvest time for Cilembu sweet potatoes grown on PMK soil. Conducted from September 2024 to February 2025, the research employed a completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments (harvest times: 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, and 5 months) and four replications. Variables observed included fresh weight, dry weight, tuber weight, diameter, number of tubers, sugar content, moisture content, and fiber content. Results showed that harvest time significantly affected tuber diameter, tuber weight, and sugar content. The study concluded that harvesting at 4 months yields optimal tuber weight and diameter with standard fiber and moisture content, while the highest sugar content was achieved at 3.5 months. This research contributes to optimizing sweet potato cultivation practices, enhancing yield quality and quantity

Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of deep learning as a pedagogical approach in supporting meaningful learning and realizing the four pillars of UNESCO education in the context of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Using a case study design at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Kudus, this study focuses attention on the integration of meaningful and fun learning principles in classroom learning practices. The data uses interviews, observation and documentation analysis, as well as researchers as the main instruments. The findings in this study show that the deep learning approach is able to encourage active, critical, and reflective student engagement, where learning activities are closely connected to real experiences. This practice contributes significantly to the holistic formation of students' character, particularly within the framework of UNESCO's four pillars: learning do know. Learning to do, learning to be and learning to live together. However, this study also revealed a number of challenges, such as limited teacher readiness, inadequate learning facilities, and the need for continuous professional training to support effective implementation. This research provides valuable insights for educators and policymakers in designing inclusive, transformative, and contextual learning environments in Islamic-based basic education.

Smallholder rubber farmers play a crucial role in maintaining the sustainability of the rubber sector in Indonesia; however, their productivity and management practices remain suboptimal. This study assessed the agronomic practices of 470 smallholder rubber farmers in Sintang District, West Kalimantan, Indonesia, using a descriptive-quantitative approach. Data were collected through structured interviews and analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation to examine relationships among human resource capacity, socio-economic conditions, and agronomic performance. The results indicate that the majority of farmers are in the productive age group, have low to moderate education, and rely on rubber farming as their primary livelihood. However, farmers tend to prioritize routine operational tasks, such as tapping and latex collection, while key agronomic practices that require more technical knowledge and capital—such as fertilization, the use of certified planting materials, and pest and disease control—remain under-implemented. Correlations indicate that education and access to extension services are positively correlated with the adoption of better agronomic practices, including the use of certified seeds, recommended plant spacing, and proper fertilization. Social roles and group participation also show significant relationships with collective agronomic behavior. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening farmer capacity and institutional support to promote productive and sustainable rubber cultivation among smallholder farmers in Sintang District, West Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Abstract

Screening of Ganoderma Antagonistic Fungi from Palmae Roots in Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. Basal stem rot (BSR) disease, caused by the pathogen Ganoderma sp., is the most important disease in palms (Arecaceae, formerly known as Palmae). To date, there is no effective method for controlling Ganoderma. In oil palms, several methods developed can only slow the rate of infection or extend the plant's productive period. Biological control is an alternative method for controlling Ganoderma and is currently under development. However, the development of biological control is hampered by its limited distribution. The most feasible approach is to identify effective indigenous antagonists from the rhizosphere of palms and develop methods for their utilization. This is because the palm family is a group of plants with high species diversity, so it is suspected that they also have a high diversity of rhizosphere fungi. Therefore, it is suspected that there are fungi antagonistic to Ganoderma that can be used as biological control agents against Ganoderma sp. This effort can be done by isolating and screening microorganisms from the rhizosphere of palm plants for their ability to act as antagonists against Ganoderma, and testing their activity in the rhizosphere of palm plants under various combinations of environmental factors thought to support their effectiveness in controlling Ganoderma. Specifically, this research aims to identify Ganoderma antagonists from the rhizosphere of palm plants in West Kalimantan that are effective in controlling BPB disease. The research has been conducted by isolating and testing the ability of fungi from the roots of palm plants in West Kalimantan in controlling Ganoderma sp. The results showed that 50.97% of fungi isolated from palm roots inhibited Ganoderma growth in vitro, with inhibition ranging from 70% to 83%. Given this ability, further testing is needed to determine the effectiveness of these fungi in controlling stem rot disease caused by Ganoderma in palm plants.

Abstract

This study describes the effect of microteaching learning to manage classes of international trainees of Tarbiyah and the Teacher Training Faculty. This quantitative type of research was conducted on 13 students with a non-probability sampling technique, namely a saturated sample, where all members of the population were sampled using a questionnaireand documentation checklist as a research instrument, to obtain data that was processed and analyzed by statistical techniques, both descriptive statistics, and inferential statistics. Through data analysis, it was concluded that the results of testing data on the effect of microteaching learning to manage classes of international trainees were indicated by a low category or a weak relationship of 0.275 and significant at 4.179 with a contribution percentage of 7.6. %, while the remaining 92.4% is influenced by other variables. The ability to manage classes of the international trainee can be applied well through microteaching learning according to existing theories, but because the results have a low/not strong effect, it is necessary to improve or look for other factors that can improve the teaching practice abilities of an international trainee.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji tentang self-citation pada Jurnal Terakreditasi Nasional SINTA UIN Alauddin Makassar. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara: 1) menelusuri jurnal UIN Alauddin di SINTA (Science and Technology Index), 2) melacak jurnal UIN Alauddin yang terakreditasi berdasarkan peringkatnya masing-masing di SINTA (Science and Technology Index), dan 3) menyajikan data jurnal dan artikel setiap jurnal ke dalam Microsoft excel yang bersumber dari database SINTA (Science and Technology Index) dan Google Scholar, kemudian dianalisis dan diinterpretasikkan dengan menunjukkan jumlah persentase dan frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 72.97% jurnal UIN Alauddin yang terakreditasi SINTA terindikasi self-citation. Frekuensi self-citation berkisar antara 1 sampai 14. Jurnal yang memiliki self-citation tertinggi adalah Jurnal JPP, sedangkan Penulis yang melakukan self-citation tertinggi adalah inisial AM. Selain itu ditemukan penulis yang melakukan self-citation tertinggi pada jurnal yang sama adalah inisial SK

Abstract

Ubi jalar (Ipomoea batatas L.) merupakan jenis tanaman pangan umbi-umbian berasal dari Benua Amerika yang kaya nutrisi. Ubi jalar merupakan jenis tanaman merambat penghasil umbi yang memiliki potensi yang besar baik sebagai pangan alternatif dan bahan baku olahan dalam agroindustri. Tujuan dari penelitian melihat peranan pemberian paklobutrazol terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil panen ubi jalar di tanah PMK dan Mencari konsentrasi paklobutrazol terbaik pada tanaman ubi jalar di tanah PMK. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan pertanian, Jalan Refomasi, Gg. Matematika, Blok H, Kec. Pontianak Kota, Kota Pontianak. Yang berlangsung pada bulan Agustus 2024 sampai dengan bulan Desember 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari satu faktor yaitu Paklobutrazol (P) yang terdiri dari 8 taraf perlakuan. Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. sehingga diperoleh 24 satuan percobaan, dimana setiap satuan percobaan terdiri dari 3 unit sampel tanaman, sehingga jumlah keseluruhannya menjadi 72 tanaman. perlakuan yang di maksud adalah sebagai berikut : P0 : 0 ppm, P1 : 150 ppm, P2 : 300 ppm, P3 : 450 ppm, P4 : 600 ppm, P5 : 750 ppm, P6 : 900 ppm, dan P7 : 1050 ppm. Hasil penelelitian menunjukkan Pemberian paklobutrazol pada tanaman ubi jalar berpengaruh tidak nyata pada terhadap jumlah daun, jumlah cabang, panjang sulur 6 MST dan 8 MST, jumlah umbi, diameter umbi, berat umbi, dan panjang umbi. Pemberian paklobutrazol berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang sulur pada 10 MST dan 12 MST tanaman ubi jalar aksesi ARF 08. pemberian paklobutrazol dengan konsentrasi 150 ppm merupakan hasil yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil ubi Jalar aksesi ARF 08.
