Abstract

Effective educators are essential to foster a quality generation, so their competencies must continue to be developed. There are special education programs for those who want to become educators at the higher education level. Where students who show extraordinary academic achievement are identified as prospective future educators, this study intends to examine the impact of the Field Study Program for students of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Master program on learning capacity to achieve mastery of the course. This study uses a qualitative methodology, namely descriptive research design. This study's participants were postgraduate students taking the PAI Master program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The results of this study indicate that field study has a significant way to improve student's learning abilities. The method includes observation, implementation, and assessment of the learning process to provide adequate assistance. This practice allows them to demonstrate their teaching talents as prospective educators.

Abstract

This study uses a library research method, which includes analysis of scientific literature, books, and historical documents. Information is collected from relevant and credible works, including historical relics in the region. This study aims to describe the historical spread of Islam in Southeast Asia, explain the factors that influenced Islamization, and identify its impact on local communities' social, cultural, and political life. The study results show that Islam entered Southeast Asia through the role of Muslim traders from Arabia, Persia, and India who sailed through maritime trade routes. Sufis played an essential role in introducing Islam with a humanistic, moderate, and adaptive da'wah approach, which was adapted to local culture. Traces of Islamization can be seen in relics such as ancient tombs, classical Islamic books, and the tradition of Islamic boarding school education in Indonesia. Islam also developed rapidly in large kingdoms such as Samudra Pasai, Aceh Darussalam, Demak, and Mataram. Islamization in Southeast Asia lasted centuries, significantly transforming various aspects of people's lives. The region's social, cultural, and political systems are influenced by Islamic values, which introduced the principles of equality and justice amidst the previously dominant Hindu-Buddhist caste system. Educational legacies such as Islamic boarding schools have contributed significantly to spreading Islamic teachings and developing a generation of Muslim intellectuals who remain relevant today. Islam in Southeast Asia is also characterized by religious moderation, allowing Islamic teachings to coexist with local traditions and other religions. The region is now home to the largest Muslim populations in the world, with Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei Darussalam as examples of countries that have successfully integrated Islamic teachings into modern life.

Abstract

The concept of khidmah has expanded in Pesantren, seeing that today's Kiai have various social positions, such as political Kiai, business Kiai, academic Kiai, and so on. This study aims to describe the actualization of the concept of khidmah santri towards Kiai in Pesantren. This study used a qualitative method with the concept of khidmah in Pesantren as the research object. Data were collected from key informants such as clerics, ustadz, santri, and Pesantren administrators who were selected by purposive sampling, using documentation study, observation, and interview methods. The findings of this research indicate that there has been a transformation of the concept of khidmah in Islamic boarding schools which can be actualized in several concepts. 1) the concept of khidmah towards special Kiai (teaching Kiai) by becoming abdi ndalem, badal, and chauffeurs of the Kiai. 2) the concept of khidmah towards business clerics in an employee-like manner. 3) the concept of khidmah towards academic Kiai by becoming badal Kiai. 4) the concept of service to the political Kiai by serving as a Kiai Pesantren staff member and personal assistant to the Kiai.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of Abraham Maslow and Carl Rogers' humanistic theory in the context of bullying and its implications for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The problem raised is the high prevalence of bullying, including in the world of education. The problem of bullying among students has become a global issue that has received serious attention. This study uses a library research method. Data were collected through the process of selection, searching, presenting, and analyzing library materials. The purpose of this study is to analyze bullying from the perspective of the development of Abraham Maslow and Carl Rogers' Humanistic theory and its implications. The results of the study indicate that the development of Abraham Maslow and Carl Rogers' humanistic theory regarding bullying has positive implications for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Bullying from the perspective of the development of the theories of the two figures, we can better understand how important it is to fulfill basic human needs and form healthy interpersonal relationships in overcoming and preventing bullying behavior. Bullying is not only a detrimental social behavior, but also a manifestation of an individual's inability to fulfill their basic psychological needs, both as victims and perpetrators. By creating a safe environment, developing empathy, building a positive identity, and involving all parties in the school, bullying can be minimized, and students can grow into better individuals with noble character.

Abstract

Character education is an education that forms morals from within a person to have a good personality. In the formation of character education can be formed through a pragmatism approach. Where, in the pragmatism approach has the principle that real knowledge can be useful is useful for individuals. The purpose of this study is to find out Character Education in schools, find out Character Education in the pragmatism approach, and find out character education in learning. The research method used is a literature study. By collecting some relevant literature in the form of articles and online books. The results obtained that character education in schools has an important role in shaping students. The formation of Character Education through pragmatism is obtained by students through learning experiences at school which are not much different from learning experiences in life. Pragmatism in learning can be seen from the application of learning used which is practical and meaningful for everyday life.

Abstract

Pemikiran fikih pola mazhab yang diikuti NU pada dekade 1990-an hingga sekarang mengalami perkembangan yang cukup dinamis. Kedinamisan ini sebagai buah dari munculnya pandangan-pandangan kritis dari para ulama (intelektual) NU, terutama berkenaan dengan sikap penerimaan mereka terhadap alturâts al-qadîm berupa kitab-kitab fikih mazhab. Di antaranya adalah  perlunya kontekstualisasi kitab fikih mazhab yang dimunculkan oleh Sahal Mahfudh, pengembangan metodologi fiqhnya (istinbat hukum yang ditempuh), dan perluasan cakupan tentang al-kutub al-mu’tabarah yang menjadi sumber/rujukan keputusan hukum, sehingga wacana pemikiran fikih NU semakin dinamis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Inbreeding from a Psychological perspective and a Review from an Islamic Perspective. This research uses a research method, namely a qualitative approach with library research with data sources based on literature studies. Sources used in this research are books and journals, and other references. The results of this study indicate that in blood marriage, namely marriage between a woman and a man who still has a very close blood relationship. Allah SWT forbids marrying women with whom there is a mahram relationship, both because of lineage, and breastfeeding. The prohibition is permanent, until whenever and in any situation. The novelty of this research in inbreeding has a negative impact on mental health and family relationships and increases the risk of genetic disorders that can lead to a decrease in the quality of the resulting offspring. The implications of this study can serve as a reference for policy makers, mental health practitioners and the community to address the phenomenon of inbreeding.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the approach to divorce psychology in Islamic studies by looking at divorce law, causes of divorce, and solutions to the consequences of problems that occur during divorce. This research uses a type of qualitative research with library research. The approach is an inductive approach. Data analysis with the Miles and Huberman method is data reduction, data presentation, verification. The results showed the psychological approach of divorce in Islamic studies that became the cause of divorce, namely (1) divorce talaq from husbands there are talaq raj'i talaq, bain talaq, Sunni talaq, bid'i talaq, and taklik talak. (2) Divorce from the claims of Fasakh, Taqlik, Shiqaq, and Khuluk's wives. The causes of divorce according to the psychological approach antalain: Pressure of family economic needs, infidelity, differences in principles, ideology or religion, family interference, and domestic violence (domestic violence). The psychological impact of children due to divorce is that they often have bad emotions that lead to very high levels of anger, temperamental personalities, quickly agitated due to uncontrolled emotions. Children whose fathers and mothers divorced showed symptoms of physical stress, had increased levels of fear and anxiety. They shut themselves off and become alone. Difficulty building relationships with others, inability to adapt to authoritative people, behavioral problems at school, bad behavior, drinking, theft, smoking, and can even fall into drugs due to the divorce of both parents. The implementation of solutions for children victims of divorce then includes Islamic therapy that must be done, namely doing prayers, reading the Qur'an, dhikr and praying. Prevention and handling of divorce, premarital education, family counseling, good communication.

Abstract

This study aims to examine hadith as a source of Islamic law, its role and significance. This study uses a library research type. The data analysis technique used in this study is the content analysis method, which is a technique used to identify each word, sentence in a text or series of texts, concepts, or themes. Researchers use data sources from books and analyze components related to the formulation of the problem. The results of this study explain that hadith is everything that comes from the Prophet Muhammad, both the words, actions, or approvals of the Prophet Muhammad, which are prescribed to humans. Hadith also has an important role as the second source of law and a guide to life for Muslims, after the Qur'an. Not only that, some important aspects of hadith in the lives of Muslims include providing explanations and details of the Qur'an, as a guide to morals and ethics, can strengthen a person's faith, and can build social harmony. Therefore, understanding hadith is very important for Muslims to build a life that is in harmony with Islamic teachings and create a harmonious and civilized society.

Abstract

Religion and culture are two entities which always interact to each other. Interaction between religion and culture can manifest in cohesiveness of religion into community culture in the form of plural society behavior as an expression of religious society. In addition, a culture of society can integrate into the practices of religious values that manifested in the spirit of religious society. Further, it is called as religious traditions or religious experiences based culture. The Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) is a Muslim community which upholds local tradition values. Its movement is based on three principles: Islamic values, Indonesian culture and community benefit. The implementation of these principles required the understanding of local wisdom as the heart of the community. As long as the local tradition goes with the principles, it can accomodate the model of cultural development of NU. Therefore, the religious practices of nahdliyyin (members of the NU) reflect the nuance of Islamic culture. Agama dan budaya adalah dua entitas yang selalu berinteraksi satu sama lain. Interaksi antara agama dan budaya dapat bermanifestasi dalam kekompakan agama ke dalam budaya masyarakat dalam bentuk perilaku masyarakat majemuk sebagai ungkapan masyarakat religius. Selain itu, budaya masyarakat dapat mengintegrasikan ke dalam praktik nilai-nilai agama yang terwujud dalam semangat masyarakat beragama. Selanjutnya, ini disebut sebagai tradisi keagamaan atau budaya berbasis pengalaman religius. Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) adalah komunitas Muslim yang menjunjung tinggi nilai tradisi lokal. Pergerakannya didasarkan pada tiga prinsip: nilai Islam, budaya Indonesia dan manfaat masyarakat. Penerapan prinsip-prinsip ini mewajibkan pemahaman kearifan lokal sebagai jantung masyarakat. Selama tradisi lokal berjalan dengan prinsip, ia bisa mengakomodasi model perkembangan budaya NU. Oleh karena itu, praktik keagamaan nahdliyyin (anggota NU) mencerminkan nuansa budaya Islam.
