Abstract

Pelatihan pembuatan mineral block sebagai suplemen ternak ruminansia di UPTD Pembibitan dan Pakan Ternak Dinas Pertanian Peternakan dan Perkebunan Kab. Majene bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan petugas tentang inovasi pengolahan pakan ruminansia dan transfer teknologi pembuatan mineral blok sebagai pakan suplemen. Metode  yang dilakukan meliputi tahapan Sosialisasi pembuatan mineral block sebagai suplemen ternak ruminansia, selanjutnya tahap diskusi dengan peserta dan pemecahan masalah-masalah yang dihadapi petugas di UPTD Pembibitan dan Pakan Ternak, dan terakhir  demonstrasi pembuatan mineral block. (daur ulang). Hasil kegiatan ini adalah peserta mengetahui pembuatan mineral block sebagai pakan suplemen ternak ruminasia. Pentingnya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat mengenai inovasi dan teknologi pembuatan mineral block sebagai pakan suplemen ternak ruminansia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetuahui korelasi antara ukuran bagian-bagian tubuh dengan berat badan pada kambing lokal. Metode pada penelitian ini yaitu pengambilan sampel dilakukan dalam bentuk survei yang perpedoman pada pengukuran statistik secara vital serta penimbangan berat badan ternak yang dilakukan secara langsung di Lapangan. Adapun dalam penentuan lokasi penelitian menggunakan metode Purposive sampling yang dalam pengambilan data sebagai obyek didasarkan pada kriteria khusus. Jumlah ternak yang digunakan sebanyak 45 ekor kambing lokal jantan yang terdapat di Kec. Sendana. Data di analisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana serta menggunakan analisis korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran tubuh meningkat seiring dengan bertambahnya umur. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada ternak tersebut terjadi pertumbuhan atau proses bertambahnya ukuran yang dapat dihitung secara kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan ukuran pada bagian-bagian tubuh ternak dengan berat badan kambing lokal yang lebih tua. Pada umur 12-24 bulan memiliki rataan yang paling tinggi dari pada kelompok umur lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa berat badan dan ukuran bagian-bagian tubuh ternak kambing lokal meningkat seiring bertambahnya umur dan masing-masing bagian ukuran tubuh ternak yaitu lingkar dada, panjang badan dan tinggi badan memiliki hubungan dengan berat badan ternak.

Abstract

Sausage is a food product obtained from a mixture of fine meat and flour or starch with the addition of seasonings, and food additives that are inserted into the sausage casing. In the preliminary experiment of making sausage, the product was unattractive, yellowish-white, thus making consumer interest decrease. Therefore, to add variants of sausages and increase the nutritional value of sausages, the addition of moringa leaves is one alternative that can be used. Moringa leaves or Moringa oleifera is one type of vegetable that is rich in macro and micronutrients. The implementation method to solve the problem is carried out with an institutional approach, which is a process of continuous guidance and mentoring during the activity. The participants involved in this activity were 60 people consisting of PKK mothers and youth groups in Batulaya Village. The implementation of this assistance is focused on guiding and assisting PKK mothers in terms of applying livestock product processing technology in the form of sausages. Community service activities by conducting counseling followed by training and mentoring for PKK mothers in Batulaya Village, Tinambung District, Polewali Mandar Regency were able to increase their knowledge and ability to make sausages with the addition of moringa. In general, the implementation of this activity provides information to PKK mothers that livestock products, especially sausages, can not only be processed into food ingredients but can also prevent stunting with the innovation of adding moringa leaves so that it becomes a business opportunity to increase the income of PKK members. During the activity, participants actively asked questions related to the process of making processed livestock products, especially the stages of making chicken meat sausage with the addition of moringa leaves, starting the process of grinding meat, mixing spices, inserting in the sleeve, steaming, and packaging.

Abstract

The sales volume in broiler chicken marketing carried out by traders in the market can be influenced by many factors. One of the factors that can influence sales volume is the selling price of chickens, therefore this research aims to analyze the influence of selling prices on sales of broiler chickens in the Majene central market. This research was carried out from June to July 2023 at the Majene Central Market, with 10 broiler chicken traders as respondents.  The data obtained was processed using simple linear regression analysis. The results of the research show that the selling price has a significant effect on the sales volume of broiler chickens in Majene's central market with an influence of 60.2% and 39.8% is influenced by other factors, with the explanation that if the selling price of broiler chickens rises by one thousand rupiah, then the sales volume will decrease as many as 6 individuals. The novelty in this research is that there has been no similar research carried out in the Majene central market, so the results of this research can be a reference for traders in determining prices to maximize profits obtained.

Abstract

Pendidikan yang berkualitas bukan hanya tentang pengajaran akademik, tetapi juga tentang membekali siswa dengan keterampilan dan wawasan yang dapat membuka peluang di masa depan. Salah satu tantangan utama saat ini adalah rendahnya minat siswa dalam melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi dan kurangnya kesadaran tentang pentingnya berwirausaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengekspolorasi pengaruh pengarah dan sosialisasi berbasi sumber daya manusia berbasis SDM terhadap peningkatan minat berkuliah dan berwirausaha di SMAN 8 Kota Serang. Melalui program pengarahan yang melibatkan narasumber yang kompeten, diharapkan siswa dapat memperoleh informasi dan inspirasi yang mendorong mereka untuk melanjutkan pendidikan serta terjun ke dunia wirausaha.

Abstract

Abstrak Ternak di wilayah Kelurahan Lalampanua memiliki performance rendah yang dapat mempengaruhi harga jual dipasaran, padahal bahan pakan lokal ternak ruminansia dalam hal ini hijauan cukup melimpah pada musim penghujan. Ketersediaan bahan tersebut dapat diolah menjadi pakan fermentasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pakan di musim kemarau serta  memperbaiki performance dan produktivitas ternak, ini menjadi peluang menghasilkan pendapatan tambahan untuk membantu perekonomian keluarga dalam mengkomersialkan produk silase ke peternak yang di dominasi oleh peternak ruminansia. Tujuan penagbdian inia dalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada peternak bagaimana cara membuat silase yang baik dengan memanfaatkan baha-bahan yang tersedia di lokasi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan melaksanakan Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu persiapan survei awal, penentuan target mitra, pelaksanaan Focus Group Discussion (FGD), pelaksanaan program kegiatan melalui penyuluhan partisipatif, pelatihan, pembimbingan, pendampingan, monitoring dan evaluasi pada peternak sasaran. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitar berupa permasalahan pengetahuan mengenai teknologi dalam pengolahan pakan fermentasi menjadi suatu produk baru yang pemanfaatannya lebih efesien belum ada, permasalahan ekonomi secara spesifik menjadi perhatian mitra karena efek dari ketersediaan pakan khususnya pakan fermentasi yang belum dikenal dimasyarakat menyebabkan peternak mengalami penurunan pendapatan signifikan akibat rendahnya harga jual ternak. Mitra mengharapkan adanya pelatihan pengolahan produk dan mengaitkannya dengan metode pemasaran usaha sehingga mereka memiliki alternatif meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga. Pelaksanaan pengabdian diikuti oleh 20 orang peternak.. Hasil pengabdian berupa pelatihan pengolahan pakan fermentasi ternak menjadi pakan alternatif serta pembuatan laporan keuangan dan business plan sederhana. Selain itu menghasilkan wirausahawan baru yang dapat memproduksi pakan fermentasi yang berlabel “Silage Cake”. Kata kunci: pakan fermentasi; peformance; silase AbstractLivestock in the Lalampanua Village area has low performance which can affect the selling price in the market, even though local ruminant feed ingredients in this case greens are quite abundant in the rainy season. The availability of these ingredients can be processed into fermented feed to meet feed needs in the dry season and improve livestock performance and productivity, this is an opportunity to generate additional income to help the family economy in commercializing silage products to farmers who are dominated by ruminant farmers. The purpose of this service is to provide knowledge to farmers on how to make good silage by utilizing the materials available on site. The method of implementing community service activities is carried out by implementing the method of implementing activities, namely preparing initial surveys, determining partner targets, implementing Focus Group Discussions (FGD), implementing program activities through participatory counseling, training, guidance, mentoring, monitoring and evaluation of target farmers. The problems faced by partners are in the form of knowledge problems regarding technology in processing fermented feed into a new product whose utilization is more efficient, there is no specific economic problem that is a concern for partners because the effect of the availability of feed, especially fermented feed that is not yet known in the community, causes farmers to experience a significant decrease in income due to the low selling price of livestock. Partners expect product processing training and linking it to business marketing methods so that they have an alternative to increase family income. The implementation of community service was attended by 20 farmers. The results of the community service were training in processing fermented livestock feed into alternative feed and making financial reports and simple business plans. In addition, it produces new entrepreneurs who can produce fermented feed labeled "Silage Cake". Keywords: feed fermented; performance; silage

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the model of farmer satisfaction with the Asuransi Usaha Ternak Sapi (AUTS) program in Polewali Mandar Regency. This research was conducted in Polewali Mandar Regency in April-October 2024. This research model is quantitative descriptive research. The number of respondents in this study was 83 farmers. The data obtained were then processed and analyzed using Path Analysis. The results of the survey of the characteristics of beef cattle farmers in Polewali Mandar Regency include being dominated by men, aged 51-60 years, married, with a high school education level, an average monthly income of less than IDR 1,000,000, 6-10 years of farming, and having 0-5 beef cattle. The technical competence aspect has a significant effect on service quality, while social competence does not have a significant effect on service quality. The satisfaction model developed from technical, social and service quality competency factors has been proven to have a significant influence on the level of farmer satisfaction.. Service quality affects farmer satisfaction as participants in AUTS.
