Abstract

Padang City is a large city with an area of 694.96 km² and a population of 941,639 in 2018. The waste generated in 2018 amounted to 1,313,342.7 m³ (Padang City Environmental Agency, 2018). Landfills produce a type of liquid known as leachate. Leachate is a hazardous liquid generated from the decomposition of both organic and inorganic waste at the Final Disposal Site (TPA) of waste. This liquid contains high concentrations of organic, inorganic materials, and heavy metals that have the potential to contaminate groundwater, rivers, and surface water. This study aims to analyze the quality of leachate based on the Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) parameters as the main indicators of organic pollution. Samples were taken from the outlet pond of the Air Dingin TPA in Padang City, then brought to and tested at the Andalas University Water Laboratory. The results showed a COD value of 450.4 mg/L and a BOD value of 250 mg/L. These values far exceed the quality standards established in the Minister of Environment Regulation No. 59 of 2016 concerning Wastewater Quality Standards. This study indicates that leachate requires further management before being released into the environment.

Abstract

Kesantunan berbahasa dalam pendidikan merupakan elemen kunci dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang efektif dan harmonis. Dalam pembelajaran tata rias yang bersifat praktis dan melibatkan interaksi langsung, kesantunan berbahasa berperan penting dalam menjaga hubungan baik antara pengajar dan siswa, serta memengaruhi hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi berbagai strategi kesantunan berbahasa yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran tata rias, serta mengevaluasi dampaknya terhadap motivasi dan pencapaian belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung di kelas tata rias serta wawancara dengan pengajar dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kesantunan berbahasa berkontribusi positif terhadap suasana kelas dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Media is one component that is the key to success in the teaching and learning process to achieve learning objectives. In the 21st century, it is often identified with the development of industry 4.0, where technological sophistication is advancing so that it can become a threat to the disappearance of local culture. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of wayang golek learning media in its role for learning achievement and active learning of students in the exemplary material of the Prophet Ibrahim a.s and Prophet Ismail a.s in the subject of Islamic Religious Education. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) using the Four-D (4D) model. The study population was students of SD at Bintan with the selected sample being class III SDN 001 Teluk Bintan. Collecting data through observation sheets, media and instrument validation, learning achievement questions and learning activity observation sheets. The results of the media trial, the value of learning achievement is seen from its completeness through the KKM and the value of student activity through observation during learning. Based on the trial, it was found that 75% of the students were complete in learning with scores above the KKM and the students seemed to be very active in participating in learning with the wayang golek media.

Abstract

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) merupakan bentuk disorientasi seksual yang angka kejadiannya terus meningkat termasuk di Indonesia. Data Center Intelligence Agency (CIA) pada 2015, populasi LGBT di Indonesia merupakan ke- 5 terbesar di dunia. Hal ini perlu diantisipasi dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan generasi muda khususnya remaja terhadap bahaya Lesbie, Gay, Biseksual dan Transgender (LGBT) sehingga dapat menekan perkembangan perilaku menyimpang tersebut yang tidak sesuai dengan norma agama dan norma kesusilaan yang terdapat di masyarakat. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada siswa tentang buruknya akibat perilaku menyimpang dari Lesbian, Gay, Biseksual, Transgender (LGBT) dan bagaimana pencegahannya di lingkungan keluarga maupun masyarakat. Edukasi ini dilaksanakan di SMA Budi Luhur Pekanbaru dan diikuti oleh siswa kelas 12 SMA Budi Luhur yang berlokasi di Kelurahan Lembah Sari RW. 04, RT. 01, Kecamatan Rumbai Timur, Kota Pekanbaru, Provinsi Riau. Edukasi imi merupakan salah satu wujud pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Universitas Abdurrab sebagai salah satu kegiatan dalam Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) kelompok 8. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah dengan penyuluhan dan sosialisasi pada siswa kelas 12. Program ini merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Universitas Abdurrab sebagai salah satu kegiatan pada Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) kelompok 8. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan penyuluhan dan sosialisasi kepada siswa kelas 12. Hasil edukasi menunjukkan bahwa setelah dilakukan penyuluhan dan tanya jawab, seluruh siswa mampu memahami dan menjelaskan tentang orientasi seksual yaitu LGBT dan bahaya perilaku LGBT.

Abstract

Electric Steam Power Plant (ESPP) in Teluk Sirih located on the seafront will certainly have an impact on changes in environmental factors such as physical, chemical and biological, one of which will be affected is phytoplankton. The research objective was to study the community structure of phytoplankton in the waters affected by the hot water of the ESPP of Teluk Sirih which was carried out in August 2023 with four sample stations namely Outfall, Inlet, Jetty and the middle of the sea as controls. The results of the study showed that the community structure of phytoplankton in the waters around the PLTU of Teluk Sirih was not significantly affected by hot water. This is illustrated by the diversity results which are classified as well H' ranging from 1.710-2.156. Evenest Index (E) 0.562-0.761 and Dominance Index (C) 0.188-0.295. The E and C values show that the phytoplankton are evenly distributed and no species dominates the ESPP of Teluk Sirih. The physics and chemistry of water are all above the quality standards of Ministry of Environment No. 51. 2004 as temperature ranges from 29-320C, pH 7-8, brightness >3m, Salinity 31,4-32,2 mg/L. Dissolved oxygen 5 mg/L, Carbon dioxide 48-62 mg/L, BOD5 4-5 mg/L, Nitrates 0.02-0.031 mg/L and orthophosphate 0.014-0.018.Keywords: Hot water, Phytoplankton, ESPP of Teluk Sirih, Community Structure and Physical Chemical Factors

Abstract

Abstract Latrines are places where excrement is disposed of to prevent environmental pollution and the spread of disease. Data from the Surulangun Health Center in 2022, shows that Kerta Dewa Village ranks first in open defecation by 54%. The aim of the study was to determine the factors associated with owning healthy latrines in Kerta Dewa Village, North Musi Rawas Regency. Quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study was 89 respondents taken by proportional stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed using the chi-square statistical test. This study found that respondents who did not have healthy latrines were 74.2% and there was a relationship between knowledge (0.000), attitude (0.000), income (0.004), clean water facilities (0.000), role of health workers (0.001) with ownership of healthy latrines in Kerta Dewa Village, North Musi Rawas Regency. Knowledge, attitudes, income, clean water facilities, the role of health workers have a significant relationship with ownership of healthy latrines in Kerta Dewa Village. It is recommended that health workers and the village government optimize the community-based total sanitation program so that the number of healthy latrine owners increases. Abstract

This study was conducted to investigate how Audit Quality, Profitability, Leverage, Information Asymmetry, and Tax Planning influence Earnings Management. It also aims to understand how Firm Size moderates or affects the impact and form of the connection among the variables that are independent and dependent. The methodological framework applied is causal comparative with a quantitative approach. Financial reports of firms within the Basic materials that are listed between 2021 and 2023 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange provided the data for this scrutiny. Employing a purposive sampling technique to select the research sample, resulting in 84 firms which satisfied the research requirements, yielding 252 observations. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to evaluate the first hypothesis, while the absolute difference test methodology was used to examine the second. The findings revealed that Audit Quality, Profitability, and Information Asymmetry did not have a major impact on Earnings Management. However, Leverage and Tax Planning had a negative impact on Earnings Management. The results also indicated that Firm Size significantly moderated the connection between Tax Planning and Earnings Management. However, Firm Size was not proven to moderate the connection among Audit Quality, Profitability, Leverage, and Information Asymmetry with Earnings Management.

Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman dan meningkatnya tuntutan hidup, banyak individu yang mengalami stres, kecemasan, dan ketidakseimbangan emosional. Hal ini disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor seperti tekanan kerja, masalah pribadi, dan perubahan sosial yang cepat. Program Day of Mindfulness di Vihara Tri Wira Bhakti, Kabupaten Way Kanan, dengan 24 peserta. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan keseimbangan diri melalui latihan mindfulness. Pengukuran keberhasilan dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Peningkatan ini mengindikasikan efektivitas program dalam membantu peserta mengenali dan mencapai keseimbangan diri. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya mindfulness dalam meningkatkan kesehatan mental dan emosional peserta.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of the study was to know and analyze the accountability of the Deepfake Porn-based Crime with this goal, the problems discussed are: 1) How is the accountability of Deepfake Porn-based AI in laws and regulations? 2) How is the urgency of legal updates against DeepFake Porn AI crime? With the formulation of the problem. The results showed that: 1) Criminal liability against the perpetrators of Deepfake Porn's crime was subject to punishment of Law, and the Pornography Law due to the void of legal norms that regulate the Deepfake Porn based AI 2) Criminal policy updates against Deepfake Porn Crime AI Very Important Porn Given the absence of regulations that regulate this digital problem with specific, effective and efficient recommendations given: 1) Indonesia must start modernize the rules so that they do not miss the development of technology, resulting in emptiness of law. 2) It is important for reformulation of rules regarding Porn Deepfake which there are no regulations yet in order to more optimally provide legal certainty in law enforcement to perpetrators of criminal acts and more effective protection for victims. ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui dan menganalisis pertanggungjawaban tindak pidana deepfake porn berbasis AI. Dengan Tujuan tersebut maka masalah yang dibahas adalah: 1) Bagaimana pertanggungjawaban tindak pidana deepfake porn berbasis AI dalam peraturan perundang-undangan? 2)Bagaimana urgensi pembaruan hukum terhadap tindak pidana deepfake porn AI? Dengan perumusan masalah tersebut maka metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan (statue approach), pendekatan konseptual (conceptual approach) dan pendekatan kasus (case approach. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Pertanggungjawaban pidana terhadap pelaku tindak pidana deepfake porn terdapat kekaburan norma hukum yang mengatur tentang deepfake porn berbasis AI 2) pembaruan kebijakan pidana terhadap tindak pidana deepfake porn berbasis AI sangat penting mengingat tidak adanya regulasi yang mengatur dengan spesifik. Rekomendasi diberikan: 1) Indonesia harus mulai memodernisasi aturan sehingga tidak ketinggalan dengan perkembangan teknologi, sehingga menghasilkan kekaburan hukum. 2) Penting untuk reformulasi aturan mengenai deepfake porn yang belum ada regulasinya agar lebih optimal memberikan kepastian hukum dalam penegakan hukum kepada pelaku tindak pidana serta perlindungan kepada korban yang lebih efektif.
