Abstract

The Feasibility of a Descriptive Text in the Class X Javanese Prigel Learning Book Published by Erlangga AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to analyze the adequacy of a language in the Javanese descriptive text in the Javanese Prigel book whether it is good and worthy to be used as a learning text in the classroom later. This writing discusses the use of a text scope including: (1) Describing the purpose/social function in a descriptive text (2) Describing the stages in a descriptive text (3) Describing a linguistic feature in a descriptive text entitled sego megono . Data collection techniques used are reading and writing techniques and data analysis techniques using qualitative methods and descriptive analysis techniques which include description, classification and analysis. The results of this study are to find out in the descriptive text entitled sego megono whether it is feasible to be included in a study and whether the text already has a social function, stages, and linguistic characteristics in the text. Keywords: language, description, social function text, social stages, linguistic features

Abstract

Adanya begitu banyak tempat, begitu banyak adat, sehingga membuat Mitoni dipraktekkan berbeda-beda di setiap daerah yang berbeda yang melatarbelakangi peneliti dalam mengkaji unsur kebahasaan pada teks tersebut. Masalah ini ditemukan di berbagai daerah. Banyak di antara mereka yang membuat teks deskripsi tidak sesuai materi mengenai unsur kebahasaan dalam teks deskripsi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman siswa dalam memahami teks deskripsi secara keseluruhan dan khususnya unsur kebahasaan pada teks deskripsi. Dengan menerapkan metode penelitian analisis isi, peneliti ini mengumpulkan satu sampel penelitian berupa dokumen. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu dalam satu paragraf ada yang terdiri satu kalimat namun dalam penulisan kalimat sudah benar dan yang mengikuti mengenai struktur kebahasaan teks deskripsi.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to find out the style of language and diction in the Sindhen story by Andjar Any. Cerkak is one of the literary works that is included in the type of prose literary work. The absolute characteristic in literary works is the beauty, authenticity and artistic value in its content and expression. A work cannot be said to be a literary work if one of these elements is not fulfilled. Cerkak is similar to short stories or short stories, because cerkak is an abbreviation of "stories of short stories". In other terms, it is often referred to as a short story. One of the stories that will be studied is the Sindhen script by Andjar Any. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with stylistic studies to analyze the linguistic system in the form of diction and language style in the geguritan. The data used in this study are words, sentences, and quotes on Cerkak Sindhen. In writing the Sindhen story, he uses a variety of languages so that the contents of the story are more interesting to read. The results of this research found Diction and Language Style contained in the Javanese Short Story entitled Sindhen by Andjar Any. The diction found in the cerkak are (1) denotative meaning (2) connotative meaning, (3) synonym, (4) antonym. Meanwhile, the language styles found are (1) comparative language style, (2) affirmation language style, (3) language style and (4) satire language style.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the types of folklore in Blora Regency, (2) discuss the structure of Blora Regency folklore, (3) explain the educational value contained in Blora Regency folklore.In this study using descriptive qualitative. This research provides detailed description and analysis of information. This research uses a single case study strategy which is carried out on one characteristic and one target (subject), namely the folklore of Blora Regency. The analysis technique used is interactive model of analysis.The folklore of Blora Regency is classified as legend, namely in individual legends and legends of the origin of a place. The storyline used in the folklore of Blora Regency is that humans are described as humans who have certain supernatural powers and are of good character. Place settings and social settings are more widely used in Blora Regency folklore and contain a fairly varied mandate. The educational values contained in Blora Regency folklore include the value of moral education, the value of traditional education, religious values, and the value of heroic education.

Abstract

Exposition text is a text that contains information in it with the aim of providing information or knowledge for the reader. Exposition text is non-fiction so that the text must contain things such as factual and verifiable statements as well as real events. useful for readers. In learning activities, for example language subjects, students are introduced to various types of texts with the aim that students are able to distinguish and understand each type of text. As written in this study, in learning Javanese, students are presented with a Javanese news exposition text that contains information about an event in an area. The news text provides detailed information about the occurrence of these events based on the results of interviews conducted by the news writers. In order to be called an exposition text, every text that is included as an expository text must have a certain structure so that the information conveyed is really short, concise, clear and can be understood by the reader. The news text must include 5W+1H questions so that the news can be considered complete and clear. The news text which is the object of this research will be analyzed its structure according to the structure of the exposition text and described through a qualitative descriptive method that describes the analysis of the structure of the text as a whole. The news text is analyzed for the completeness of the structure of the text whether it is in accordance with the structure of the exposition text by understanding the content of the news text that is presented. This research was made as a final project for the Text Study course which aims to make students understand what has been taught during the lecture so that they can apply it in this research.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis teori sosiologi sastra dalam film pendek “Lemantun” karya dari Bagas Bhanuteja. Teori yang digunakan dalam adalah teori struktural dan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Teori struktural dan pendekatan tersebut digunakan dengan cara mengkombinasikan dari beberapa pendapat para ahli sastra mengenai sosiologi sastra. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penyediaan data, yaitu metode  dengan cara observasi dan menyimak, metode yang digunakan dalam tahap analisis data adalah metode kualitatif, sedangkan didalam tahap penyajian hasil analisis data menggunakan metode informal. Untuk menunjang metode-metode tersebut perlu digunakan beberapa teknik, yaitu: teknik pencatatan data, teknik transliterasi data, teknik terjemahan data, teknik deskriptif analitik data, dan deduktif induktif data. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan terdapat 4 aspek kajian sosiologi sastra, diantaranya konteks sosial pengarang. Sastra digunakan sebagai cermin masyarakat, salah satunya genre sastra dan sastra mampu menampilkan keadaan masyarakat dari masa ke masa.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mendiskripsikan fungsi sosial, tahapan-tahapan dan ciri kebahasaan Teks Deskriptif pada bacaan “Pasemone Joged” yang terdapat dalam buku pembelajaran Prigel Basa Jawa kanggo SMA/SMK/MA kelas XI yang diterbitkan oleh Erlangga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode penyediaan data, yaitu metode  dengan cara baca dan catat. Metode yang digunakan dalam tahap analisis data adalah metode kualitatif, sedangkan didalam tahap penyajian hasil analisis data menggunakan metode informal. Untuk menunjang metode-metode tersebut perlu digunakan beberapa teknik, yaitu: teknik pencatatan data, teknik transliterasi data, teknik terjemahan data, teknik deskriptif analitik data, dan deduktif induktif data. Hasil penelitian ini mendeskripsikan fungsi sosial, mendeskripsikan tahapan-tahapan serta mendeskripsikan ciri kebahasaan teks deskriptif dalam teks “Pasemone Joged”  serta menyimpulkan apakah teks yang terdapat dalam Buku Prigel terbitan Erlangga ini layak dan sesuai untuk dijadikan bahan ajar dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Krisis moral di Republik Indonesia saat ini mencapai level yang mengkhawatirkan. Kehidupan seakan lepas dari etika dan karakter. Padahal etika pembentuk karakter atau ajaran budi pekerti tersebut banyak yang ditulis dalam buku-buku ajaran moral. Selain secara konkret ditulis pada buku-buku ajaran budi pekerti, pesan moral tersebut banyak direkam dalam ungkapan-ungkapan Jawa tradisional, antara lain pada paribasan (peribahasa Jawa), bebasan (pepatah Jawa), saloka (seloka Jawa), pepindhan (perumpamaan Jawa), dan isbat (filosofi Jawa). Ungkapan-ungkapan Jawa tradisional selain mengandung nilai karakter, ditulis dengan bahasa indah yang sangat estetis, ada pula yang tidak tertulis, tidak terdapat pada buku-buku sastra.  Ajaran-ajaran yang sekan tenggelam tersebut harus direvitalisasi. Itulah sebabnya studi ini dilakukan. Penggalian data dilakukan secara menyeluruh baik secara media ekspresinya maupun secara wilayah. Data dikumpulkan dari daerah kantong-kantong budaya serta buku-buku yang tersisa dari peninggalan masa lampau. Metode deskriptif analisis selanjutnya diterapkan untuk mengurai, menelaah dan menjelaskan makna data, sehingga didapat hasil akhir berupa deskripsi aspek intrinsik dan ekstrinsik dari ungkapan-ungkapan tradisional Jawa.Secara intrinsik, keindahan yang terkandung di dalamnya bersifat unik seperti purwakanthi (persajakan), sandi asma (nama samaran), sengkalan atau sengkala sastra (perhitungan tahun didasarkan nilai kata), dan lain sebagainya. Secara ekstrinsik, ungkapan-ungkapan Jawa tradisional itu ada yang bersifat positif, langsung sebagai contoh perbuatan baik, dan ada pula yang bersifat negatif, berupa contoh tidak baik atau contoh buruk, jahat, yang harus dicari dahulu makna positifnya. There are no ethic and character anymore although ethic and character building are written in many ancient books. The ethic and character building also can be found at Javanese traditional folklore; paribasan (Javanese proverb), bebasan (Javanese aphorism), saloka (Javanese poem), pepindhan (Javanese parable), dan isbat (Javanese philosophy). Javanese traditional idioms do not only have great values but also written in a beautiful language and they are aesthetically created. This study aims to describe the Javanese traditional idioms. The data were collected based on the media and also the area of expression. They were collected from regions that become center of culture and from the ancient books. The data were analysed descriptively to describe the data and get the intrinsic and extrinsic aspects of the Javanese traditional idiom. In terms of intrinsic elements, the beauty in the idiom is unique, like purwakanthi, sandi asma, and sengkalan. In terms of extrinsic elements, the Javanese idioms have positive character and negative character.Keywords: Javanese idiom, character building

Abstract

Naratif Kematian Irawan menurut tradisi pedalangan Yogyakarta telah mengalami “pergeseran” dari induknya: Mahabharata Sansekerta. Menurut tradisi pedalangan Yogyakarta Irawan mati sebelum perang baratayuda dimulai. Naratif kematian Irawan seperti itu, tidak dijumpai dalam Mahabharata Sansekerta maupun kitab-kitab Jawa Kuna.Pergeseran letak naratif kematian Irawan dalam tradisi pedalangan Yogyakarta tersebut, tampaknya bukan hal yang tanpa alasan, karena lakon yang memuat naratif tersebut termasuk Lakon Baratayuda, yaitu lakon yang dikeramatkan dan sangat ketat diwariskan. Untuk memahami kasus ini dilakukan pengkajian tokoh seperti yang pernah dilakukan oleh Alf Hiltebeitel yang berhasil menembus makna Mahabharata melalui pendekatan epik, mite, dan ritual.Peristiwa kematian Irawan dalam tradisi pedalangan Yogyakarta erat kaitannnya dengan Baratayuda. Terbunuhnya Irawan rupanya menyarankan ke arah upacara korban pada tataran ritual. Naratif kematian Irawan tersebut rupanya mengacu pada pemujaan kepada Durga pembunuh Mahisasura. Dengan terlaksananya korban Irawan, maka Pandawa pun memperoleh jaminan kemenangan dalam Baratayuda.Kata kunci: kematian Irawan; tradisi pedalangan Yogyakarta; pendekatan epik, mite dan ritual AbstractThe death of Irawan narrative in the tradition of Yogyakarta puppetry has undergone a "shift" of the origin text: Sanskrit Mahabharata. According to the tradition of Yogyakarta puppetry Irawan die before the Baratayuda war began. Irawan death narrative as such, is not found in the Sanskrit Mahabharata and the books of the Old Javanese.Shifting the narrative the death of Irawan in Yogyakarta puppetry tradition, it seems is not without reason, because the lakon that contains the narrative included Baratayuda lakon, that lakon is sacred and very tight inherited. To understand this case do figures study such ever undertaken by Alf Hiltebeitel who was penetrates the meaning of the Mahabharata through epic, myth, and ritual approach.Irawan death scene in the traditions of Yogyakarta puppetry connected closely with Baratayuda. The kill of Irawan apparently suggested direction sacrifice at the level of ritual approach. The death of Irawan narrative was apparently referring to the cult of Durga Mahisasura killer. Abstract

Co-curricular activities are activities carried out outside curricular and extracurricular hours. This study aims to find out that co-curricular activities support the deepening of student material. The method used in this study is a qualitative method of experimentation. In this study, data collection used field experiments. As for data management using content analysis. In this study, the author found four co-curricular activities that can support the deepening of student material, namely MOPDB (New Student Orientation Period), GLS (School Literacy Movement), Adiwiyata School, and Study Tour. These activities have been proven to support the deepening of student material inside and outside the student subject matter and foster good character for students.
