Abstract

This research has background that the lack of student learning result in thermal material, it is caused by the learning process that does not maximalize student brain skill and still relies on the teacher. The efforts used to overcome the problem is Brain Based Learning model. This research aims for performing student learning result. The reaserch object consists of 32 students in Grade IV SDN Bojong Salam II with the first data is only 6,30% that fulfills criteria of KKM. The used research method is Class Measure Research (Classroom Action Research or PTK) with research design of Spiral Kemmis and MC.Target model. The design consists of planning, measuring, obeserving, and reflexing. Based on the research that has been performed, student learning result in 3 cycle has increased becoming 90,36%. The capacity of teacher achieves the goal, i.e 90% and student activity achieves 80% from the goal. It can be concluded that implementation Brain Based Learning model can perform student learning result in thermal material in Grade IV SDN Bojong Salam II.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas V di SDN Tegalkalong I,didapatkan hasil yang kurang memuaskan dalam proses dan hasil pembelajaran menulis suratundangan ulang tahun. Untuk mengatasi tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelasmenggunakan rancangan penelitian dari Kemmis dan Taggart. Kinerja guru perencanaansiklus I (81,25%), siklus II (93,75%) dan siklus III (100%). Kinerja guru pelaksanaan siklus I(86,2%), siklus II (93,10%) dan siklus III menjadi (100%). Aktivitas siswa yang mendapatkankriteria baik sekali pada siklus I 14 (58,3%) siswa, siklus II 18 (75%) siswa dan siklus III 21(87,5%) siswa. Hasil belajar data awal 4 siswa (16,6%) yang mencapai KKM 70. Siklus I, siswayang tuntas 12 siswa (50%), siklus II 18 siswa (75%) dan siklus III 21 siswa (87,5%) yang tuntas,sehingga berhasil melebihi target yang ditentukan. Dapat disimpulkan penerapan metodepasangan bernomor dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi menulis suratundangan ulang tahun.

Abstract

This research is motived by the problem of low student learning outcomes on the material influences the motion and shape of objects in class IV SDN Cipameungpeuk Sumedang Subdistrict South Sumedang District. Improvement efforts to overcome these problems by appliying the SAVI approach with Classroom Action Research methods that implemented 3 cycles and each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Each aspect has a significant improvement in each cycle, with teacher performance percentage at 57% initial data, 84% cycle I, 91% cycle II, and 100% cycle III. For percentage of activity ininitial data obtained 0%, cycle I 17%, cycle II 54%, and 92% cycle III.  Thus it can be concluded that the implementation of SAVI approach can improve student learning outcomes on the material style affect the motion and shape of objects

Abstract

This research is based on the idea that instructional media is needed in the classroom learning as a tool to facilitate in conveying the subject that is considered as quite complex. One of the media that can be used in learning is audio-visual media.This study aims to determine the effect of audio-visual media on students' learning results of volcanic nature event of high, medium and low groups. This study used pre-experimental research with one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study is all fifth grade students of SD all Lemahabang subdistrict in Cirebon regency. The sample of this research is the fifth grade students of SDN I Asem and SDN III Lemahabang with all students from both schools grouped into high, medium, and low group based on the results of natural science basic ability test. The research data obtained from the test of students’ learning result of volcanic natural event subject while students' response obtained from questionnaire given after learning and posttest take place. Data analysis has been done shows that: (1) Audio-visual media give positive effect to the improvement of student learning outcomes in high, medium and low group. (2) Learning using audio-visual media does not show a different positive effect on increasing learning outcomes between high, medium and low groups. Abstract

Creative thinking skills direct students to develop ideas and have more than one answer in problem solving. The method of group investigation is a method of learning that requires students to actively ask and express ideas. There is a connection between creative thinking skill and group investigation method, so this research is done to know the influence of group investigation method toward the creative skill of class V student on the material of natural disaster. The research method used is pre-experimental with descriptive one-group pretest-posttest research. The result of research with significance level α = 0,05 indicates that learning by using group investigation can improve the creative thinking skill of high, medium and low group student seen from test result of two difference of average pretest and posttets value of each group got result that is 0,000 . While the average difference test results of three moderate high moderate, and low obtained results 0.054. It can be concluded that there is no difference in the improvement of high, medium and low student group thinking skills.

Abstract

Background of this research is because score the students is not satisfying. In the proces of learning, the teacher is not involve the students on active proces of learning. Based on this condition, Learning Cycle model of learning is applied to be resolve this problem. This is because in Learning Cycle model of learning is centered in the student and make learning to be means. Form this reseach is classroom action research which is done in 3 cycles. Obtaine data in plan a cycle I reach 83,3%, cycle II 93,3%, cycle III 100% so reach the target. In the implementation cycle I reach 85%, cycle II 95%, and cycle III 100% so reach the target. Student activity in cycle I 41%, cycle II 77%, cycle III 100%. The result student completeness of preliminary data from 22 students just 31%, cycle I 40,9%, cycle II 72%, cycle III 91%. Therefor can concluded that implementation model of Learning Cycle can improve students learning outcome.

Abstract

Based on the unsatisfactory result of the study of students of class V SDN Sindang I on the material division of time region in Indonesia is arranged by using the snake laddergame mediaso that the learning more interesting through classroom action research (PTK) with Kemmis and Taggart design consist of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Instruments used, the observation patterns of teacher performance and student activieties, student learning outcomes, field notes, and vision of teacher and students. Complete study result of 29 students at initial data only 10 students (34,5%), then cycle I to 23 students (79,3%), cycle II increased to 25 students (86,2%), in the third cycle reached the target with 27 students (93,1%) complete the achievement of KKM. So, learn by using the snake ladder game media results of learning improvement class V SDN Sindang I on the material division of time region in Indonesia.

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi awal yang dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas IV SDN Gudangkopi II diperoleh permasalahan, yaitu pada proses pembelajaran. Guru menggunakan pendekatan konvensional sehingga siswa tidak termotivasi mengikuti pembelajaran, dan mengakibatkan hasil belajar rendah. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut diterapkan model pembelajaran CTL demi menciptakan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa. Fokus tujuan penelitian, yaitu penerapan CTL pada perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hasil belajar, dan aktivitas. Metode penelitian tindakan kelas digunakan pada penelitian ini, dengan desain penelitian model spiral Kemmis dan Taggart. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Penyesuaian data dilakukan dengan validasi member check, triangulasi, dan expert opinion. Proses penelitian dilakukan tiga siklus karena target tercapai pada siklus III, dengan target 85% aktivitas dan hasil belajar, dan kinerja guru 100%. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian, yaitu kinerja guru mencapai 100%, aktivitas siswa 100%, dan hasil belajar 89%. Hasil perolehan data penelitian membuktikan penerapan model pembelajaran kontekstual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Concept which exsist in natural science learning will easier understood by students if the concept followed by experiments to proved about the concept. Emphasize the Science Process Skill, for maximizing students petential mixed up with discovery learning process. Learning models which support Science Process Skill was discovery model learning. This research method applying was pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttes design. The purpose of this research to checked the improved Science process Skill with applying discovery model learning toward students skill at advanced group, middle-group, and menial group. Population was fifth grade students about Cimalaka Subdistriction Sumedang Regency. Sample is Margamukti Elementaru School. Instruments were KAIPA test, Science Process Skill test, teacher and students activity observation, questionnaire, and interview. Result found that applying discovery model improved students Science Process Skill at advance group, middle-group, and menial group. Had different improved Science Process Skill between advance group, middle group, and medial group.Â
