Abstract

Some Arabic teachers complain about their role as Arabic teachers and the ineffectiveness of learning in the classroom. Among the things that can cause are: Teachers don't know the concept of effective and efficient learning, how to streamline learning and organize effective learning. As a result, learning is only done by transfer of knowledge (knowledge transfer) the importance in learning, especially Arabic language teachers, to find out how to make the learning more effective.

Abstract

Abstrak_ Isu pemanasan global semakin menghangat disemua bidang kehidupan. Kondisi lingkungan semakin hari mengalami kerusakan parah yang disebabkan oleh pemanfaatan sumber daya alam terlalu berlebihan. Lahan tanah pun semakin berkurang akibat tingkat pertumbuhan populasi manusia yang semakin meningkat dan cenderung bersifat destruktif terhadap lingkungan sekitar tanpa melihat keberlanjutannya. Maka penting untuk diterapkannya bentuk arsitektur bangunan yang harus berempati, tanggap, dan menyajikan solusi dalam mengurangi dampak lingkungan. Salah satunya ialah mempersatukan bangunan yang hemat energi dan ramah lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui poin-poin penting dalam menerapkan bangunan yang hemat energi dan ramah lingkungan/eco-house dengan melihat dari gaya hidup dan kebiasaan responden/masyarakat, sehingga dapat menemukan kriteria dasar pada perancangan rumah eco-house yang sesuai dengan preferensi masyarakat. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data primer melalui kuesioner daring yang memiliki sifat terbuka (open-ended) dan disebarkan secara bebas (non-random sampling). Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis menggunakan analisis isi yang terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu open-coding, axial coding dan selective coding. Hasil analisis menunjukkan 4 (empat) isu penting terkait preferensi masyarakat dalam penerapan hunian ramah lingkungan yaitu efisiensi energi dan efisiensi biaya, kepedulian lingkungan, kenyamanan, dan kesehatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan harapan yang cukup besar terhadap implementasi yang lebih luas penerapan rumah ramah lingkungan karena preferensi masyarakat sebagian besar menunjukkan kepedulian dan hanya sedikit yang masih memiliki ketidakpedulian terhadap isu tersebut, maka dari itu masih perlu ketegasan untuk mensosialisasikan dan mengkampanyekan Go Green agar semua masyarakat dapat memahami dan mengaplikasikan, karena dampak dari pengaplikasiannya dapat berpengaruh untuk kehidupan kita di masa depan. Kata kunci: Eco-House; Gaya Hidup; Hemat Energi; Isu Prioritas; Preferensi; Ramah Lingkungan. Abstract_ The issue of global warming is getting hotter in all areas of life. Environmental conditions are increasingly experiencing severe damage caused by excessive use of natural resources. Land is also decreasing due to the increasing rate of human population growth and tends to be destructive to the surrounding environment regardless of its sustainability. So it is important to implement a building architectural form that must be empathetic, responsive, and present solutions in reducing environmental impacts. One of them is to unite buildings that are energy efficient and environmentally friendly. The purpose of this research is to find out the important points in implementing an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly building/eco-house by looking at the lifestyle and habits of the respondents/community, so as to find the essential criteria for designing an eco-house that is in accordance with community preferences. The research was conducted qualitatively with the primary data collection method through an online questionnaire which has an open-ended nature and is distributed freely (non-random sampling). The data obtained will be analyzed using content analysis which consists of 3 stages, namely open-coding, axial coding and selective coding. The results of the analysis show 4 (four) important issues related to community preferences in the application of environmentally friendly housing, namely energy efficiency and cost efficiency, environmental care, comfort, and health. The results of the study show that there is considerable hope for a wider implementation of the application of environmentally friendly homes because most of the community's preferences show concern and only a few still have ignorance of the issue, therefore it still needs firmness to socialize and campaign for Go Green so that all people can understand and apply, because the impact of its application can affect our lives in the future. Abstract

The current study analyzes Fruits and Vegetables on Consumption Behavior. This research was conducted using a descriptive quantitative approach method. The results of this research analysis show a high level of awareness among SMA/SMK/MA teenagers regarding the importance of vegetables and fruit in everyday life. Consuming fruit and vegetables can provide benefits for teenagers' health in the future, such as controlling body weight or obesity, as well as preventing the risk of various diseases. Lack of consumption of vegetables and fruit among teenagers causes health problems in the body.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan material baru untuk pengolahan limbah industri, yang merupakan isu penting di tengah meningkatnya pencemaran lingkungan akibat limbah industri yang tidak terkelola dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis berbagai material inovatif yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pengolahan limbah industri, serta menilai efektivitas dan keberlanjutan teknologi yang ada saat ini. Keberhasilan penelitian ini terletak pada penemuan bahwa material baru tidak hanya mampu mengurangi kadar polutan, tetapi juga dapat dihasilkan dari sumber yang berkelanjutan, sehingga mendukung prinsip ekonomi sirkular. Implikasi dari penelitian ini sangat luas, mencakup pengembangan kebijakan dan praktik industri yang lebih baik dalam pengelolaan limbah. Temuan ini dapat digunakan sebagai panduan bagi para pemangku kepentingan, termasuk pembuat kebijakan, peneliti, dan pelaku industri, untuk mengadopsi teknologi baru yang lebih efektif dalam mengurangi dampak lingkungan dari limbah industri. This research focuses on the development of new materials for industrial waste treatment, which is an important issue amidst the increasing environmental pollution caused by poorly managed industrial waste. This research aims to explore and analyze various innovative materials that can be used in the industrial waste treatment process, as well as assess the effectiveness and sustainability of existing technologies. The success of this research lies in the discovery that new materials are not only able to reduce pollutant levels but can also be produced from sustainable sources, thus supporting the principle of a circular economy. The implications of this research are broad, including the development of better industrial policies and practices in waste management. These findings can be used as a guide for stakeholders, including policy makers, researchers, and industry players, to adopt new technologies that are more effective in reducing the environmental impact of industrial waste.

Abstract

The transformations in the design of Catholic church architecture, partly influenced by the Second Vatican Council, have led to notable changes in spatial and lighting conditions. This research endeavors to investigate user preferences concerning lighting and spatial elements in Catholic church buildings. The study adopts a mixed-methods approach, executed in two stages. Data collection involves the utilization of online questionnaires employing a non-random/non-probability sampling method. Subsequent data analysis incorporates principal component analysis, factor analysis, and correlation analysis. Each independent variable is systematically analyzed to discern user preferences. The findings of the study reveal that factors such as color, contrast, visual comfort, lighting hierarchy, visual richness, building age, perceived building shape, verticality, symmetry, and secluded space exert influence on the stimulation of positive and spiritual impressions. The research sheds light on the intricate interplay between architectural elements and user perceptions within the context of Catholic church design, providing valuable insights for further considerations in sustainable and meaningful architectural practices.

Abstract

The Mina Karya Fishery Product Marketers Processing Group (Poklahsar) is a business group in Tambaklorok, Semarang, that processes marine products. It currently faces limitations in product processing and diversification, marketing, and finance. This group has the potential to grow and reach a broader market. PKM activities aim to increase POKLAHSAR 'Mina Karya' capacity to diversify processed mangroves and optimize marketing and financial management capabilities. Activity methods include training, assistance in using appropriate technology related to mangrove-processed diversification, and finance and marketing management skills. The results of PKM activities are an increase in the capacity of Poklahsar Mina Karya in diversifying processed mangrove production and the ability of the results of PKM activities to increase the capacity of Poklahsar Mina Karya in production, marketing, and finance. Spinner machine assistance accelerates the draining process to only 10 minutes and durability for three months. The disc mill flouring machine technology helped diversify products and increase Marketing and finance training, helped partners expand market reach to a national scale, and optimized business management, creating new economic opportunities.

Abstract

Green homes concept implementation is one of strategies to increase energy and water efficiency in residential buildings. Currently, the concept of green homes has been adopted by the public and promoted by the government because of its benefits. Utilization of green home features is known to benefit the environment and occupants. However, as the number of green home users increases, the adoption acceleration of green home features has barriers. Homeowners' perceptions of green home features determine homeowners' attitudes toward utilizing these features. This research aims to identify the hindering factors of green home feature adoption by exploring homeowners’ perceptions. The green home features such as smart lighting and sensor, energy-efficient labeled appliance, photovoltaic panel, water meters, dual-flush toilet, and rainwater harvesting are reviewed. Data was gathered using an online open questionnaire and analyzed using grounded theory method. Result shows green homes features’ adoption barriers consist of technical aspects, product availability, economics, knowledge, regulation, and motivation.

Abstract

Proyek konstruksi merupakan pekerjaan yang unik dan melibatkan berbagai pihak dan tahapan pekerjaan. Keberadaan kontrak pada pekerjaan konstruksi penting untuk dapat membantu mengurai kondisi multitafsir pada setiap tahapan yang dilakukan. Studi ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kontrak pekerjaan konstruksi dengan kinerja proyek. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan dengan metode survei dalam bentuk kuesioner online. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variable laten aspek kontrak yang berpengaruh pada kinerja proyek adalah aspek keuangan, diikuti aspek legal dan aspek teknis. Dari analisis regresi multivariat ditemukan adanya hubungan kausal antara aspek hukum dan aspek teknis yang memberikan kontribusi pengaruh lebih besar terhadap kualitas dan kinerja proyek. Kinerja mutu/ kualitas merupakan kinerja paling terpengaruh oleh berbagai aspek yang dimuat di dalam kontrak, sementara itu, waktu adalah kinerja yang paling terpengaruh oleh aspek keuangan kontrak,

Abstract

Abstract: The need for parking in residential or residential areas in Indonesia causes problems due to the unavailability of sufficient land. Rapid population growth has resulted in the increasing number of private vehicles making the need for parking areas increasing, especially in residential environments. This problem arises not only in the upper economic class, but also in the middle and lower economic class, who have more than one vehicle, especially two-wheeled vehicles. This study aims to identify the pattern of placement of parking spaces in residential homes based on people's preferences. The research data was obtained through an online questionnaire which was processed qualitatively in collaboration with grounded theory which is exploratory. The results showed 3 patterns of placement of vehicle parking spaces in the occupied dwellings. This research is expected to provide an overview for residential designers and the development of residential areas according to community needs.Keyword: housing, parking needs, private vehicles, preferencesAbstrak: Kebutuhan parkir di lingkungan hunian atau rumah tinggal di Indonesia menimbulkan masalah akibat tidak tersedianya lahan yang cukup. Pertumbuhan penduduk yang pesat berakibat pada meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan pribadi membuat kebutuhan lahan parkir semakin meningkat khususnya pada lingkungan rumah tinggal. Permasalahan ini muncul tidak hanya masyarakat golongan ekonomi atas, namun juga muncul pada masyarakat golongan ekonomi menengah dan bawah, yang memiliki kendaraan lebih dari satu unit, terutama kendaraan roda dua. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi pola perletakan tempat parkir di rumah tinggal berdasarkan preferensi masyarakat. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui kuisioner daring yang diolah secara kualitatif dikolaborasikan dengan grounded theory yang bersifat explorasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 3 pola perletakan tempat parkir kendaraan pada hunian yang ditinggali. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran bagi para perancang hunian dan pengembangan kawasan hunian sesuai kebutuhan masyarakat.Kata Kunci: kebutuhan parkir, kendaraan pribadi, preferensi, rumah tinggal

Abstract

Abstract: Environmental problems are caused by climatic conditions and the results of sunlight entering buildings that cannot be controlled. Shading device become part of the building and interact directly with the environment and space in the building. Shading device can be applied to buildings to respond to environmental conditions such as solar radiation. Conditioning solar radiation entering buildings can be reduced to reduce building energy use. The results of this simulation show that the length (P) and angle (S) parameters have a significant positive effect on decreasing the intensity of solar radiation. Elements of the Horizontal Louvers type with a change in the value of the Angle (S) parameter from the basic design results in a decrease in radiation intensity of up to 44.3% when the angle changes to 150 with respect to the horizontal wall. In the Brise-Soleil Semi Façade With Louvers type, changing the value of the Length parameter (P) from the basic design results in a decrease in radiation intensity of up to 40.3% in the shading element with a length of 0.8 meters. On the other hand, changes in the distance parameter (J) of the shading element to the horizontal wall tend to increase the intensity of solar radiation. In the Horizontal Louvers type, the change in the parameter Distance (J) to the wall with a distance of 0.3 meters from the horizontal wall results in an increase in intensity of up to 81.1% when compared to the design basis.Keyword: Shading Device, Solar Radiation, Design Parameters, Vertical HousingAbstrak: Permasalahan lingkungan disebabkan oleh kondisi iklim dan akibat sinar matahari yang masuk ke bangunan yang tidak dapat dikendalikan. Perangkat peneduh menjadi bagian dari bangunan dan berinteraksi langsung dengan lingkungan dan ruang di dalam bangunan. Shading device dapat diterapkan pada bangunan untuk merespon kondisi lingkungan seperti radiasi matahari. Pengkondisian radiasi matahari yang masuk ke gedung dapat dikurangi untuk mengurangi penggunaan energi gedung. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa parameter panjang (P) dan sudut (S) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap penurunan intensitas penyinaran matahari. Elemen tipe Horizontal Louvers dengan perubahan nilai parameter Angle (S) dari desain dasar menghasilkan penurunan intensitas radiasi hingga 44,3% ketika sudut berubah menjadi 150 terhadap dinding horizontal. Pada tipe Brise-Soleil Semi Façade With Louvers, perubahan nilai parameter Length (P) dari basic design menghasilkan penurunan intensitas radiasi hingga 40,3% pada shading element dengan panjang 0,8 meter. Sebaliknya, perubahan parameter jarak (J) elemen peneduh ke dinding horizontal cenderung meningkatkan intensitas penyinaran matahari. Pada tipe Horizontal Louvers, perubahan parameter Jarak (J) ke dinding dengan jarak 0,3 meter dari dinding horizontal menghasilkan peningkatan intensitas hingga 81,1% jika dibandingkan dengan desain dasar.Kata Kunci: Elemen Pembayang, Radiasi Matahari, Parameter Desain, Hunian Vertikal
