Abstract

This study focuses on the level of patient satisfaction at the Rumbai Maternity Clinic. Quality of service is the main key that influences patient trust and satisfaction with this health facility. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analyze patient satisfaction with the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method using fuzzy logic. This study will identify service attributes that are considered important by patients and evaluate the extent to which patient expectations have been met at the clinic. Attributes studied include cleanliness of facilities, courtesy of medical staff, availability of medicines, quality of medical services, information conveyed to patients, and others. The (IPA) method will help measure the level of importance and performance of each service attribute based on patient perceptions. Fuzzy logic is used to overcome the complexity and subjectivity of assessing patient satisfaction. The results of this study are expected to provide a comprehensive picture of patient perceptions and satisfaction at the Rumbai Maternity Clinic. Clinical management can use the results of this study to identify service improvement priorities and increase patient satisfaction. The scientific contribution of this research lies in combining the IPA method and fuzzy logic in the analysis of patient satisfaction. Thus, this research has the potential to help improve the quality of health services at the Rumbai Maternity Clinic and can be applied as a guide for developing similar methods in other health facilities.

Abstract

Diabetic retinopathy is a serious complication of diabetes that can lead to blindness if not detected and treated early. Automated detection of diabetic retinopathy requires effective feature extraction techniques to enhance diagnostic accuracy. This study aims to develop a method for detecting diabetic retinopathy by utilizing Local Binary Pattern (LBP) combined with wavelet transform, and then classifying the extracted features using Support Vector Machine (SVM). The approach includes feature extraction from retinal images using LBP and wavelet transform. The extracted features are subsequently classified with SVM to evaluate performance in detecting diabetic retinopathy. Analysis results show that the dominant feature is found in the fifth row with a value of 0.57006, indicating the effectiveness of the LBP method in feature extraction. The developed model demonstrates high performance with an accuracy of 95.59%, precision of 96%, recall of 97.96%, and F1-score of 96.97%. The combination of feature extraction methods with SVM proves to be effective and reliable in detecting diabetic retinopathy, offering low error rates and high accuracy, thus potentially serving as a valuable tool in clinical diagnosis

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dan konsentrasi optimum ekstrak daun mangga (Mangifera indica L.) yang memiliki senyawa fenol yang berfungsi sebagai bioherbisida yang dapat menghambat pertumbuhan gulma Babandotan (Ageratum conyzoides). Penelitian ini dilakukan di rumah kaca STIPAP dari bulan April hingga Mei 2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah Desain Acak Lengkap Non-Faktorial. Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi gulma, panjang akar gulma, bobot basah gulma, dan bobot kering gulma. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa senyawa alelokimia ekstrak daun mangga 60% merupakan konsentrasi yang efektif dan merupakan bioherbisida alternatif dalam mengendalikan pertumbuhan gulma. Kata kunci : Bioherbisida, Mortalitas, Gulma Babandotan, Alelopati

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian batang adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyakit busuk terhadap populasi tanaman kelapa sawit. Penelitian dilakukan di Afdeling V Kebun Sei Baleh PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk sejak Juli-September 2020. Desain deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data sekunder. Data yang diperoleh adalah data inventarisasi tanaman kelapa sawit yang terserang Ganoderma pada tahun 2015-2019. Faktor yang diperhatikan adalah informasi dasar mengenai perkebunan, penurunan populasi/kepadatan tanaman per hektar (SPH), rekapitulasi inventarisasi pohon, dan memutuskan untuk menjaga populasi tanaman. Kesimpulannya, serangan penyakit busuk batang merugikan populasi tanaman kelapa sawit di Perkebunan Afdeling V Sei Baleh PT. Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk. Intensitas serangan Ganoderma ditentukan oleh beberapa faktor seperti kurang memadainya lahan budidaya, curah hujan yang tinggi, dan umur tanaman. Upaya perusahaan untuk mempertahankan jumlah tegakan utama melibatkan penimbunan.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi, khususnya internet, membawa dampak signifikan dengan memungkinkan penyebaran berita hoaks. Literasi digital menjadi penting, terutama bagi siswa aktif dalam internet dan media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ceramah, kuesioner, dan penjelasan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital siswa dalam mengenali dan mencegah penyebaran berita palsu. Studi literatur menyoroti dampak negatif berita hoaks, terutama terkait isu SARA dan politik, di media sosial seperti Twitter dan Instagram. Masalah utama literasi digital di sekolah adalah kurangnya pengetahuan tentang program literasi digital. Pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan landasan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terhadap penyebaran berita hoaks di era digital. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 69.78%, membuktikan bahwa pendekatan interaktif dan penerapan literasi digital dapat memberikan manfaat positif.

Abstract

Coffee as one of Indonesia's plantation commodities that has very good development potential, considering that coffee consumption in Indonesia is still very high. Currently, the problem that occurs in Simalungun Regency is the conventional drying technology which is at risk of inconsistency in quality and taste so it needs to be fixed and given a solution. The partner team is the Mitra Sejati Jaya Cooperative, where community service activities are carried out in the Sait Buttu area, Pematang Sidamanik District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra which is one of the locations for planting Arabica coffee. The purpose of this activity is to create intelligent IT-based appropriate tools and technologies, namely the ARDUINO UNO Smart Sweetener as a solution to the problems of partners and coffee processing community groups, then improve coffee farmers in supporting improvements in the quality of Arabica coffee taste through efficient, portable, and environmentally friendly smart drying technology. The solution that can be provided is in the form of community service activities carried out by a team of lecturers and students from the Institut Teknologi Sawit Indonesia (ITSI) in the form of extension methods, socialization and education related to the technical innovation of the tool called the ARDUINO UNO Smart Sweetener. This community service activity was carried out for ±60 days consisting of the preparation stage consisting of a survey of completeness and preparation, assembly and finishing and pre-test, socialization and education and implementation of community service activities by ITSI lecturers and students. The activity was attended by people who are members of the Coffee Farmers, the Mitra Sejati Jaya cooperative partner team, local residents, lecturers from ITSI and supported by ITSI students. The results of this community service activity were able to educate the community in the Innovation of Mechanical Coffee Dryers.ABSTRAKKopi sebagai salah satu komoditas Perkebunan Indonesia yang memiliki potensi pengembangan masih sangat baik, mengingat konsumsi kopi di Indonesia masih sangat tinggi. Saat ini, permasalahan yang terjadi di Kabupaten Simalungun ialah teknologi pengeringan yang masih konvensional yang beresiko terhadap inkonsistensi mutu dan cita rasa sehingga perlu dibenahi dan diberi solusi. Tim mitra adalah Koperasi Mitra Sejati Jaya, dimana kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan di daerah Sait Buttu, Kecamatan Pematang Sidamanik, Kabupaten Simalungun, Sumatera Utara yang merupakan salah satu lokasi penanaman kopi arabika. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini dapat menciptakan alat dan teknologi tepat guna yang cerdas berbasis IT yaitu Pemanis Pintar ARDUINO UNO sebagai solusi atas permasalahan mitra dan kelompok masyarakat pengolah kopi, kemudian meningkatkan petani kopi dalam mendukung perbaikan mutu cita rasa kopi arabika melalui teknologi pengeringan pintar yang efisien, portable, dan ramah lingkungan. Solusi yang dapat diberikan yaitu berupa kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh tim dosen dan mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Sawit Indonesia (ITSI) berupa metode penyuluhan, sosialisasi dan edukasi terkait teknis inovasi alat yang disebut Pemanis Pintar ARDUINO UNO. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan selama ±60 hari yang terdiri dari tahap persiapan yang terdiri atas survei kelengkapan dan preparasi, perakitan dan finishing serta pra uji, sosialisasi dan edukasi serta pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh dosen serta mahasiswa ITSI. Kegiatan dihadiri oleh orang yang tergabung dalam Petani Kopi, Tim mitra koperasi Mitra Sejati Jaya, warga setempat, dosen dari ITSI serta didukung oleh mahasiswa ITSI. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mampu mengedukasi masyarakat dalam Inovasi Alat Pengering Mekanis Kopi.

Abstract

Many individuals are interested in starting a workshop. By responding to each customer's desires, the workshop company may continue to develop, and so the data mining technique can address this challenge. The FP-Growth algorithm is one of the methods that may be used to determine the stock availability of automotive spare components such as engine oil, spark plugs, oil filters, ac filters, batteries, tires, and so on. This research is divided into four stages: problem identification, data gathering, data processing, and data testing. Based on the results of the testing, AK (Battery), OM (Engine Oil), and BS (Spark plug) received support values of 33% and 80%, respectively. Furthermore, the BN (Ban) and KR (Kampas Bram) values were found with 33% support and 80% confidence. Furthermore, we obtain AK (Battery) and OM (Engine Oil) with 33% support and 80% confidence, and BN (Tires) and OM (Engine Oil) with 33% support and 80% confidence. OM (Engineering Oil), AK (Battery), and BS (Battery Storage) are the abbreviations for the terms OM (Engineering Oil), AK (Battery), and BS (Battery (Spark plug)).

Abstract

Ultisol soil is soil with soil acidity problems, little organic material and low macro nutrients, so it has a big impact on the productivity of oil palm plants. Organic matter is one of the limiting factors and plays a very important role in nutrient delivery and as a nutrient buffer. This research was carried out at PT. Langkat Nusantara Kepong Kebun Tanjung Beringin Langkat Regency in Division 2 Immature Crops (TBM) and Mature Crops ™. From December 2023 to February 5 2024. This research aims to be able to determine the soil organic matter content in the Immature Plants (TBM) and Mature Plants ™ phases in ultisol soil in the oil palm plantations of PT. Langkat Nusantara Kepong Kebun Tanjung Beringin. This research used quantitative descriptive methods and a completely randomized design. Research Results: The organic C content of Tanjung Beringin gardens is relatively low. The C-organic content in the TBM area has a significant difference compared to the TM area. The N content of Tanjung Beringin garden soil is classified as very low and there is no significant difference between the TBM and TM areas. Keywords: ultisol soil, organic matter, palm oil, TBM, TM

Abstract

The growing number of Internet of Things devices has led to an increased risk of complex and diverse cyberattacks. However, a significant challenge in this domain is the imbalanced class distribution in most Internet of Things datasets, cautilizing classification algorithms to be biased towards the majority class, hindering effective threat detection. This study addresses this issue by leveraging the Random Forest algorithm optimised by the Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique. This research aims to develop an effective model for detecting cyberattacks in Internet of Things environments by resolving class imbalance issues inside of the CIC-IoT2023 dataset. The methodology involves several stages, comprising data preprocessing and applying Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique for data balancing. The balanced dataset was then used to train a Random Forest model, by its performance evaluated utilizing accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and Cohen's Kappa metrics. The results demonstrate the model's effectiveness, achieving an accuracy of 99.01%, an F1-score of 98.96%, and a Cohen's Kappa of 98.92%. This marks a notable improvement in performance, particularly in detecting minority classes, compared to the model trained devoid of Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique, that struggled to identify several less common attack types. The outcomes suggest that combining Random Forest by Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique can significantly enhance the development of intrusion detection systems by improving detection accuracy for all 33 attack types and reducing the risks associated by undetected threats. In conclusion, this study advances Internet of Things cybersecurity by presenting an effective and efficient method for addressing data imbalance in attack detection. Future research should focus on evaluating the model's robustness utilizing more complex datasets and enhancing its performance for real-time deployment on resource-constrained Internet of Things Devices.
