The aims of this study were to find language impairment of autism in Life, Animated film. The autistic child in this film is the second son of Suskind Family This study the writer uses descriptive analysis techniques. The data of this study are the conversation of Life, Animated film. Data analysis techniques used in this study is transcription, classification and analysis. Data source was Life, Animated Film. This study only focused on language impairment. The result of this study shows that Owen language impairments are Owen was confused or needed a help if he have to answer but he was forgotten. His articulation sometimes can be fast or slow, especially when Owen talked with Emily, he articulated slower than usual. He often use word “great” because his vocabularies are low, he confused to understand other people, he was echolalia, his articulation is delay and he like something scripted, but he did not confuse in using pronoun and grammatical. The purpose of this research is to know the character and characterization of Forrest Gump as main character in the movie by analyzing the evidence from the dialogues and his actions in the movie. To know what the character and characterization of Forrest, the writer used the method descriptive-qualitative. The writer employs himself to collect the data by reading script, watching the movie and classifying them. The writer focused the dialogues of the movie, and then followed by classifying and analyzing the character and characterization through the big five personality theory The writer found that The Character in the movie are Forrest as Protagonist Character and Forrest as mayor Character. The Forrest character in the movie viewed the Big Five personality, Forrest have all the type of the character such as Openness, Contentiousness, Extraversion or Introversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism, but the dominate of Forrest character is Agreeableness. Forrest have high agreeableness, he have the character flexible, trusting, cooperative, forgiving, empathic, soft-hearted, tolerant. Keywords: Character, big five personality

Cross-language influence in third language acquisition (TLA) relates to the influence of the first (L1) and second (L2) language on the third language acquisition (L3). This study focuses on the lexical transfers that occur in the acquisition of the Indonesian language as L3. The lexical transfer consists of (1) lexical transfers non-adapted; (2) lexical transfer adapted; and (3) semantic lexical transfers. The subject of this study were BIPA students. The Source of data in this research is the conversation between the researcher and the subject of research and production of the sentence by picture by research subject. Results of the study are lexical transfer non-adapted occurs in lexical transfers into L1 and L2. lexical transfers adapted are made by reconciling my form in English with basic words in the Indonesian language; -nya form in the Indonesian language with the basic form in L1/L2; me- and di- form in the Indonesian language paired with the basic form in L1/L2; and the use of a phrase consisting of a combination of words in Indonesian and L1/L2. Semantic lexical transfers are made by the Indonesian language as L3 by using their forms that are inconsistent with their meaning and using word choices that are inconsistent with the context. This study can provide benefits to Indonesian language teachers for foreign speakers (BIPA) in determining learning strategies that are following the language history of BIPA students. Besides, this research is also useful for researchers or academics who study multilingualism in determining the role of the first and second language in third language acquisition.

This article aims to promote Adobe Connect Pro on online learning as a discussion platform in an online class. Digitalization in higher education using digital learning platforms such as adobe connect pro is currently broadly used as educational media. In the research context, Adobe Connect Pro is utilized as a discussion platform in the online class. Digital learning Platform enables providers to deliver academic programs via digital learning platforms, facilitating communication and enabling knowledge preservation, selection, and distribution. Using a qualitative study, this article investigates how Adobe Connect Pro allows teacher trainers to collaborate by offering a forum for real-time reflection and debate on student-teacher video performance, which is a natural extension of a forum. The result of the observation shows that Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro’s online discussion forum promotes students’ learning interests and accommodates a variety of learners, including those with special needs who may find it challenging to be physically present in the traditional classroom all of the time or to keep up with the other students. It promotes inclusive learning by allowing anyone to learn at their own pace and schedule and freely participate in platform discussions. In conclusion, discussion forums using Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro have immense potential to push students to learn.

ABSTRACTIn this study, the language that is utilized for communication is analyzed. In particular, the mood system is used in this study to examine Joe Biden's speech on the COVID-19 vaccination from the SFL perspective. To put it another way, this study examines the interpersonal meaning of speech, which can be used to investigate the speaker's attitude and evaluation of what is said in the speech. Through an in-depth examination of the mood system, this study attempts to explain the meaning of Joe Biden's speech in terms of interpersonal meaning. Although the majority of this study is qualitative, some descriptive quantification will be used to help it better understand the trends in the speaker's interpersonal meaning to help it better answer the research objectives. To assess the research data, it employs the Hallidayan theory of Systemic Functional Grammar (SFG). The information was obtained from publicly available websites. The researcher uncovered 81 pieces of data in Joe Biden's speech. The actual data is produced by a mood system that is divided between 75 declarative data and 6 imperative data. Analysis revealed that Joe Biden primarily used declarative. Declarative was utilized by Joe Biden throughout his speech to convey information to the audience. The majority of the material being supplied relates to immunization programs. Jokowi wants the audience to receive the COVID-19 vaccination program. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru SMP Mambaul Ulum adalah kurangnya penggunaan media interkatif dalam proses belajar mengajar. Hal tersebut dikarenakan masih minimnya pemahaman mereka tentang perlunya penggunaan media dalam pengajaran. Padahal dalam proses belajar mengajar, sangat penting untuk menggunakan media agar siswa lebih terpacu dalam belajar dan dapat meningkatkan semangat belajar. Hal inilah yang mendasari program kemitraan stimulus Pelatihan Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Pada Guru SMP Mambaul Ulum Lamongan dirancang agar dapat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. PKMS ini akan dilakukan menjadi tiga tahapan pelaksanaan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan dan tahap pasca kegiatan. Adanya PKMS ini dapat memberikan gambaran pada guru SMP Mambaul Ulum dalam menghasilkan media pembelajaran sehingga proses belajar mengajar lebih berkualitas.

Teknologi pada bidang Pendidikan mengalami perkembangan yang pesat. Salah satu contohnya adalah Microsoft sway. Kesuksesan dan keberhasilan proses belajar pembelajaran tidak hanya ditentukan oleh pendidik namun juga sarana pembelajaran. Namun, tidak semua pengajar sudah menggunakannya. Beberapa alasan seperti masih belum pahamnya konsep e-learning, bagaimana penggunaan dan penerapannya menjadi sebuah permasalahan sendiri bagi pengajar. Alasan tersebut juga dialami oleh guru di MA Maarif 9 Mayong, Karangbinangun. Hal tersebutlah yang mendasari program kemitraan stimulus Pelatihan dan Penerapan Microsoft Sway Bagi Guru MA Maarif 9 Karangbinangun Lamongan dirancang agar dapat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. PKMS ini akan dilakukan menjadi tiga tahapan pelaksanaan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan dan tahap pasca kegiatan. Harapannya dengan adanya PKMS ini maka dapat memberikan gambaran pada guru MA Maarif 9 Karangbinangun Lamongan dalam memahami manfaat dan penerapan e-learning berbasis Microsoft Sway sebagai media pembelajaran yang atraktif dan menarik minat belajar dan tingkat pemahaman siswa dapat meningkat.

Tujuan dalam pengabdian ini yakni pentingnya penanganan kerusakan lingkungan yang marak terjadi akhir-akhir ini. Salah satu caranya dengan membangun dan menguatkan kompetensi sikap peduli lingkungan yang dapat ditempuh melalui melalui sastra ekokritik dalam pembelajaran yakni penulisan kreatif fiksi. Dalam hal ini, penulisan kreatif dipandang sebagai sebuah media pembelajaran yang cukup efektif untuk dapat menyampaikan nilai-nilai tersebut. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan pembelajaran penulisan kreatif berwawasan lingkungan dalam bidang mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris perlu untuk dilaksanakan pengabdian di Desa Deket Kulon Lamongan. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini selain untuk menambah kemampuan dalam penulisan kreatif fiksi juga sebagai usaha untuk penanganan lingkungan kerusakan lingkungan. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini yakni melalui pemberian materi dan pelatihan mengaplikasikan sastra ekokritik dalam bentuk penulisan kreatif fiksi serta mempublikasikannya pada media sosial. Pelatihan menulis ini juga diwujudkan dalam games berfokus sastra dan lingkungan, serta kritik terhadap kondisi lingkungan, sangat diperlukan untuk mengasah kekritisan dan kreativitas para siswa dalam dunia literasi.

The lack of vocabulary mastery often becomes an obstacle in writing, whereas vocabulary determines how skilled a person is in language. It is also supported by qualified grammatical skills so that the writing is directed and by existing rules, producing readable and coherent writing content. This study aims to describe pupils' essay writing skills and the link between grammar competence and vocabulary mastery. The study is ex post facto. The sample in this study is 104. The research data were obtained through three instruments: an essay text, a grammar mastery test, and a vocabulary mastery test. The data analysis technique used is product-moment correlation and multiple regression. Mastery of vocabulary and grammar together has a considerable impact on English Education students' essay writing skills; grammar competence considerably impacts English Education students' essay writing abilities; and vocabulary knowledge substantially impacts English Education students' essay writing abilities. It implies that mastery of vocabulary and grammar significantly impacts students' essay-writing abilities at Universitas Islam Lamongan.
