Abstract

Organizations exist because of the human need for relationships, interaction, communication, and socializing one to another to meet a common goal. Organizational culture becomes an important part that influences the effectiveness of the organization (the term for the fulfillment of the purpose of the organization). This study aims to determine the organizational culture conditions at Prodi Adbis Tel-U by using indicators from the Denison organizational culture model that show involvement, consistency, adaptability and mission. In addition to a theoretical study of the importance of organizational culture, the background for this study is a new formation at Tel-U in which there are Adbis Prodi, in recognition of the organization's culture conditions. Adbis through this research can contribute to gradually building a strong organizational culture where Adbis is aligned with the culture of Tel-U. The research method is a quantitative method with data collection using questionnaires sampling populations of faculty and staff at Prodi Adbis Tel-U with as many as 41 people processed using descriptive statistics. The results showed the overall average of the culture of the organization in the department of the Tel-U Adbis FKB including very low category with the highest score on the mission and the lowest subvariable on involvement.

Abstract

Social media is part of the information communication technology (ICT) which is important in human life currently. Social media is important because it play a role in the fulfillment of human needs, especially when associated with humans that was created as social creatures. As social creatures, humans build organizations to meet their needs to interact, communicate, collaborate and agree on a goal. In organizations, the organizational effectiveness has an important role in fulfilling the organization purposes. The presence of euphoria phenomenon may provide an explanation linkage between euphoria and organizational effectiveness. This study is a descriptive study, which aims to explain how social media is used as a media to convey the euphoria that contributes to the organizational effectiveness based on gangnam style case. The research method used to collect and analyze secondary data from the related literature study with the research journals. This research is expected to be the basis for future research which can be done empirically and contextually in term of social media that convey euphoria and contribute to organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

Konflik keluarga kerja menjadi salah satu yang menarik untuk kajian sumber daya manusia. Terdapat hubungan yang unik antara pekerjaan dan keluarga. Dalam perubahan lingkungan yang cepat berubah di mana kompetisi semakin tinggi diikuti dengan konflik kerja yang meningkat. Faktor yang menyebabkan konflik tergantung pada latar belakang individu dan kebijakan organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif untuk mengetahui kondisi konflik kerja pengemudi travel antar kota PT. XYZ dengan menggunakan kuesioner variabel penelitian menurut Greenhaus, J.H., and Beutell, N.J. dengan kuesioner yang disusun oleh Mawardi. Populasi sebanyak 1250 dan kuesioner yang disebar sesuai jumlah sampel (yang dihitung dengan rumus Slovin) sebanyak 100 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya potensi konflik kerja dan keluarga dalam skala yang relatif kecil.

Abstract

The culinary business increasingly attracting new business investors and also increasing the competition because a lot of competitors are entering the culinary business. Innovation is needed to increase the competitiveness of a business. Currently, 48.9% of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are engaged in the primary sector which focuses on agriculture, fisheries, livestock, and forestry. This emphasizes the important role of MSMEs as a strategic sector in national economic development and distributing development results. The Covid-19 not only impacted large businesses but also the MSME, especially the social restriction policy. Conventionally, MSMEs rely on face-to-face transactions in their transactions but now trading activities are carried out digitally, which has proven to be growing rapidly during the pandemic. However, compared to large businesses MSMEs tend to find it difficult to move from conventional to digital activities. MSMEs need expertise in the development of digital content and the use of an attractive and hygienic toolkit. So, in this community service activity, we propose the development of the MSME Catering and Culinary Standardization Toolkit and the UMKM Food Community as a partner.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini adalah untuk mewujudkan proses Student Centered Learningmahasiswa untuk mata kuliah TO kelas C semester genap tahun ajaran 2015-2016 dengan menggunakan metodequantum learning. Metode quantum learning menggunakan gabungan antara tugas diskusi kelompok denganposisi duduk yang diatur melingkar dan adanya music yang mengiringi. Jawaban dari rumusan masalah adalahmetode quantum learning cukup berperan dalam pelaksanaan student centered learning,meskipun masih perluperbaikan untuk beberapa variabel khususnya prioritas lebih dahulu kepada variabel 2 (kesiapan mahasiswasebelum mengikuti perkuliahan) & 5 (kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menjawab pertanyaan). Pelaksanaanstudent centered learning dapat dilihat dari rata‖ nilai kuis dalam kisaran nilai 70 serta terdapat peningkatannilai UTS ke UAS yang cukup besar (dari 54 ke 86).

Abstract

MSME business should be built based on circular economy (CE)-based business models. The purpose of this article is to presenta review of several articles that have been published in Scopusdiscussing the CE-based business model and MSMEs to findresearch gaps and future research agendas. It used some tools of thetheoretical assay, such as bibliometric analysis, systematic literaturereview, theory, context, and characteristic methodology (TCCM).The paper outlines all findings of analyzed literature about CE’sbusiness model applied by MSME in the Scopus document untilJune 2021. The findings of this study provided more high-qualityevidence about research and practical gaps regarding the CE-basedbusiness model and MSME, which needs more research focuseson market desirability in the future and more understanding ofinternal processes in MSME’s case studies. The implication of thisarticle is to provide a future research agenda based on a collectionof research gaps as a basis for empirical research.JEL Classification: L26, M10, Q56

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research is to know the response of the PT. PJB CSR programs over the perceptions and importance of the community. The method used was quantitative descriptive methods. The sampling of the data is taken based on purposive sampling type of nonprobability sampling. The population are 1228 people and the sample are 135 people, by using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). This research conclude that PT PJB's PLTU Rembang CSR based on the public perception are already in good category and the community have high expectations over the PJB CSR programs. However, there are several aspects which have to be fixed, include provide ambulance car, controlling pollution, processing sewage with 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) treatment, organize empowerment and training program for community, willing to absorb local workforces who are eligible to fulfill the requirements, organize UKM empowerment program.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tanggapan masyarakat terhadap program tanggung jawab sosial (CSR) PT. PJB atas persepsi dan kepentingan masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode non-probability sampling jenis purposive sampling. Jumlah populasi 1228 orang dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 135 orang, yaitu masyarakat ring 1 sekitar PT PJB PLTU Rembang. Pengolahan data menggunakan metode Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Program CSR PT PJB PLTU Rembang berdasarkan persepsi masyarakat sudah berada dalam kategori cukup baik dan masyarakat mempunyai harapan yang tinggi atas program CSR PJB. Namun ada beberapa aspek yang harus diperbaiki, yaitu memberikan bantuan mobil ambulance, melakukan pengendalian polusi, melakukan pengolahan limbah 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle), mengadakan program pemberdayaan dan pelatihan masyarakat, bersedia menyerap tenaga kerja lokal yang memenuhi syarat, serta mengadakan program pemberdayaan UKM.

Abstract

Related to the performance of the homebase lecturers  at the Faculty of Communications and Business, Telkom University, in conduct the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Tertiary Education), research and community service feels lacking. That is why this research is intended to know the performance condition also to see the factors that encourage and the factors that are dominant towards the performance of fixed lecturers at the Faculty of Communications and Business in Telkom University. The method that is used  in this research is descriptive analysis with factor analysis technique. The type of this research is quantitative research. The respondants in this research are the fixed lecturers at the Faculty of Communications and Business in Telkom University. The research data is obtained by distributing questionnaires towards 70 respondants and literature review. Based on the descriptive analysis result, fixed lecturers performance in the "good" category is about 77%. Factor analysis results states that ability factor, organizational structure factor, background factor, and perception factor are the factors that encourage the performance of the fixed lecturers at the Faculty of Communications and Business in Telkom University. The ability factor which is representated by attitude, motivation, expertise, discipline, effectivity, and efficiency factors has the highest value % of variance that is about 34,837%. Organizational structure factor which is representated by resource, leadership, work experience, and work design factor has the value % of variance about 10,588%. Background factor which is representated by initiative and demography factor has the value % of variance about 8,533% while the perception factor has the value % of variance about 7,630%.Keyword:Performance, Factor Analysis, Faculty of Communications and Business in Telkom University, lecturer performance

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the effects of transformative leadership and organizational culture on employee performance in the context of the Indonesian Logistics Bureau. This study filled a research gap, and required repeated tests to assess the impact of transformative leadership and organizational culture on employee performance from different viewpoints. The research tool used was a cross-sectional quantitative study by a questionnaire (survey) of up to 69 respondents for all personnel of the Indonesia Logistics Bureau West Java Regional Division. Multiple linear regression analysis of data processing techniques revealed that the performance of employees was influenced by transformative leadership and organizational culture. The results of this analysis included positive guidance, in particular on the importance of a leader's role in empowering and encouraging workers through active engagement with them, and the presence of positive organization principles boosted organization performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the motivation conditions as well as to look at the factors that contributes that dominant factor and contribute to the motivation permanent lectures on Faculty Communication and Business of Telkom University. The research method is descriptive quantitative. The respondent in this study is permanent lectures on Faculty Communication and Business of Telkom University. Factor in this research totaled ten factors, consisting of quality supervision, existence, company policy, a good working place, relationships with co-workers, promotion, growth, recognition, obligations, and goal. Research data obtained from the dissemination of the questionnaire to 70 respondents and study of literature. Analytical using data techniques is descriptive analysis and analysis of the factors. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, the motivation permanent lectures on the category “good” that amounted to 71%. The results of the analysis of the factors mentioned that promotion factor and goal factor is the factor that formed after the reduction of the ten factors. Promotion factor represented by company policy, recognition, quality supervision, relationships with co-workers, growth, and existence has value loading factor is 0,874. While the goal factor represented by a good working place and obligations has highest value loading factor is 0,924.
