Abstract

Pantai Karimunjawa di Jepara merupakan pemandangan alam yang indah dengan keindahan terumbu karang dan ekosistem laut yang menggugah decak kagum. Terumbu karang dan biota laut yang tumbuh subur di dalamnya merupakan salah satu aset paling berharga dalam ekosistem laut. Namun, pesona ini semakin terkikis oleh ancaman buatan manusia. Di tengah kondisi kerusakan lingkungan laut yang semakin mengkhawatirkan, perlindungan ekosistem ini merupakan kebutuhan mendesak dan merupakan titik awal untuk memahami lebih dalam perlindungan lingkungan laut melalui lensa kesadaran ekologi pesisir Karimunjawa. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi urgensi dan kebaruan konsep konservasi laut melalui lensa kesadaran ekologi di Pantai Karimunjawa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupakan analisis literatur ilmiah mengenai berbagai permasalahan ekologi terumbu karang di Karimunjawa. Didorong melalui lensa kesadaran lingkungan, program pendidikan lingkungan hidup di Karimunjawa meliputi kurikulum sekolah, lokakarya, dan kegiatan pembelajaran di luar ruangan yang meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap lingkungan sekitar siswa. Lensa kesadaran ekologi mendorong masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam program konservasi seperti program penanaman terumbu karang, pemantauan lingkungan dan kegiatan lainnya. Abstract

Musholla dan tempat wudhu merupakan fasilitas penting yang harus ada disetiap tempat umum suatu negara yang mayoritas penduduknya muslim, salah satunya di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi kelengkapan, kebersihan, dan kepuasan pengguna fasilitas wudhu di musholla XYZ menggunakan Six sigma. Metodologi Six sigma yang digunakan adalah DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analysis, Improve, Control) karena fasilitas sudah ada dan cocok digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang diberikan kepada 30 responden. Kuesioner dirancang untuk mendapatkan informasi dan tanggapan dari responden terkait topik penelitian atau evaluasi yang sedang dilakukan. Berdasarkan hasil kuisioner didapatkan bahwa perlu adanya perbaikan pada tempat wudhu dan penambahan toilet sekitar musholla untuk memberikan kenyamanan para pengguna.

Abstract

Education in the 21st century demands very rapid development of knowledge and technology, so that 4C skills are needed, namely creative thinking skills, critical thinking and problem solving, communicating, and collaborating to face global challenges. Creative thinking skills as a very important skill for students in the era of global competition because the level of complexity of problems in all aspects of modern life is also getting higher. Learning with ethnoscience can be implemented in the PjBL learning model by incorporating the culture that develops in society into learning. Flipped Classroom is carried out by students by studying at home through books or videos that have been integrated with the culture of society. This study aims to determine the effect of the ethnoscience-based PjBL learning model with a flipped classroom on creative thinking skills. This research is a literature study using secondary data sources in the form of books and scientific journal articles. Data was collected using publish or perish applications and analyzed one by one manually. The results show that the application of project-based models and ethnoscience with flipped classrooms influences creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Pancasila education in universities has an important role in shaping the character of students with strong ethics and morals. Through understanding and applying the values of Pancasila, students are expected to develop a strong character, responsibility, and integrity. The purpose of the study is to gain a deep understanding of the role of Pancasila education in the formation of student character as well as efforts to build strong ethics and morals. This research is qualitative research through literature study. Literature collection is done by collecting relevant sources such as scientific journals, books, articles, and other related documents. The main source in this research is scientific articles from research published through the Google Scholar website. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of data analysis show that Pancasila education is needed as a basic foundation to form ethics and morals, which are tough, where activities in the university environment include habits that can encourage students to behave according to what is contained in Pancasila values

Abstract

This study aims to determine the challenges and strategies in implementing Physical Education, Sports and Health learning in elementary schools. The research method used in this article is the literature review method. Data collection techniques with the literature review method used are articles published through Google Scholar. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed using descriptive analysis, starting from data collection, needs analysis, formulation of the subject matter to be studied, to conclusion making. The results of the analysis show that training for PJOK teachers to improve their qualifications and competencies in teaching and motivate students is also very important. Increasing the allocation of PJOK time in the elementary school curriculum can provide greater opportunities for students to participate in physical activity. Support from parents and the community should be increased through socialization programs and cooperation with local communities. In addition, the use of digital technology in PJOK learning can increase student motivation and help them master gross motor skills. The implementation of a creative, innovative, and fun PJOK program is also needed to attract students and instill sportsmanship values such as honesty, cooperation, and unyielding spirit

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan petani pada sistem budidaya akuaponik melalui program PPK Ormawa di Desa Temanggal, Magelang serta mengembangkan peluang ekonomi Desa Temanggal melalui sistem akuaponik berbasis IoT. Observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa lahan pertanian di desa temanggal belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal serta 79% masyarakat bermatapencaharian sebagai petani. Sehingga masyarakat perlu dikenalkan dengan program pertanian berkelanjutan yang modern. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sosialisasi kepada pada kelompok tani. Garis besar sosialisasi menjelaskan bahwa budidaya akuaponik yang dilengkapi dengan aplikasi Water Quality Smart Control dapat diterapkan untuk memaksimalkan kualitas air sehingga ikan dan tanaman dapat memperoleh nutrisi dan lingkungan yang sesuai. Data diperoleh melalui pengisian kuesioner oleh petani dan diolah menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman masyarakat tentang budidaya akuaponik dan teknologi pertanian masih berada pada kategori cukup. Perlu adanya pembekalan, penyuluhan, dan pelatihan lebih lanjut yang didukung oleh kelompok tani sebagai perwakilan masyarakat serta pemerintahan setempat untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat sehingga lahan pertanian dan kegiatan pertanian dapat dioptimalkan demi memperoleh hasil yang maksimal.

Abstract

This article aims to develop innovative ideas in Social Studies (IPS) learning in primary schools through a literature study that examines various research findings and current learning practices. This study was motivated by the continued strong use of conventional methods, low digital literacy, and limited use of technology in the classroom. The method used is content analysis of various relevant sources to identify trends and alternative learning strategies. The results of the study show that the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model, the integration of local values and wisdom, and the use of digital media can increase learning motivation, social literacy, and 21st-century skills of primary school students. This study emphasises the importance of improving teachers' pedagogical competencies, developing a more contextual curriculum, and strengthening students' social character as implications of learning innovations that are in line with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum

Abstract

The 21st century requires students to have problem-solving skills as the ability to solve problems from previous activities to obtain new, more meaningful knowledge. PISA results in 2022 show Indonesia's science skills are low, especially in solving problems. The low problem solving ability is also experienced by SMPN 3 Mertoyudan students as evidenced by the analysis of ASAS 2023 results and interview results. The purpose of the research is to develop Case Based Learning-based e-modules that are valid, effective and practical to improve the KPM of junior high school students. This research method uses the Research and Development method with the ADDIE development model. The results of the research on the validity of the e-module showed an average assessment of 4.43 very valid with a feasibility percentage of 88.5% in the very feasible category. The effectiveness of e-modules based on the results of the t-test obtained sig 0.000, namely there is a significant difference and the magnitude of the increase in pretest and posttest results is high with a value of 0.70 in the N-Gain test. The practicality of e-modules is in the feasible category with a percentage of 81%. The conclusion of this study is that e-modules based on Case Based Learning are valid, effective and practical in improving problem solving skills. Suggestions from this study are expected to develop better e-modules with more complete, detailed material and clarity of instructions on e-modules.

Abstract

Scientific literacy is a crucial skill for students to understand scientific phenomena and make informed decisions based on evidence. However, many Indonesian students still struggle with these skills, indicating unresolved issues in the classroom implementation of scientific literacy. This study aims to address this issue by examining the effectiveness of the SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review) learning model in improving junior high school students' scientific literacy skills compared to the Discovery Learning learning model. The research design was a quasi-experimental design with a control group, and a pretest and posttest were administered. This study involved 60 eight-grade students at SMPN 1 Mertoyudan. The experimental group consisted of 30 students who received instruction using the SQ3R method, while the control group consisted of 30 students who used the Discovery Learning method. Scientific literacy skills were measured using 13 questions, which were tested for validity and reliability (α=0.935) based on the PISA 2025 science competency framework. Pretest and posttest data were analyzed using N-Gain scores and independent sample t-tests. The study showed that the SQ3R group demonstrated greater improvement in scientific literacy skills than the Discovery Learning group. The experimental group’s average score jumped from 38 on the pretest to 83 on the posttest, with an N-Gain of 0.72, which is considered high. Meanwhile, the control group’s score rose from 36 to 70, with an N-Gain of 0.52, which is considered moderate. An independent-samples t-test confirmed a significant difference between the two groups (p < 0.001). This study shows that the SQ3R learning model is superior to Discovery Learning in improving students’ scientific thinking, reading comprehension, and critical evaluation of information, essential components of scientific literacy. The structured SQ3R approach encourages active student participation and a regular observation process, making it an effective strategy for improving scientific literacy at the junior high school level.    Keywords: scientific literacy, junior high school, SQ3R, science competency, reading strategy.
