Abstract

This research aims to find out and describe teacher strategies and student challenges in mathematics learning in class V. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The research results obtained in teacher strategies for increasing motivation in learning mathematics in class V are: (1) Ensuring the availability of mathematics learning facilities. (2) Consistency in implementing mathematics learning strategies. (3) There is a special approach in learning mathematics. (4) Active involvement of students in mathematics learning. (5) Creating interesting learning in mathematics learning (6) Applying the storytelling method in mathematics learning. (7) There is a record of grades in mathematics learning in class. And there are 2 challenges for students in learning mathematics in class V as follows: (1) Lack of student interest in learning mathematics. (9) There are internal and external factors in the mathematics learning process at school.

Abstract

Social media is a technology that is often used by people as a means of communication. One of the social media that is often accessed is TikTok. TikTok displays many interesting features, one of which is providing information that is free and can be accessed by anyone and anywhere. Many TikTok users are young and old, even elementary school students. This research aims to explain the results of the analysis of the impact of using TikTok social media on the character development of students at SDN Bugel 4, both positive and negative impacts. This type of research is qualitative using descriptive methods. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The respondents in this research were 10 students. The results of this research show that, 1) Students use TikTok social media more than 8 hours a day, both for entertainment and for learning. 2) The use of TikTok social media by students has positive and negative impacts. The positive impacts include TikTok being a source of entertainment for students after studying, adding new insights, critical thinking, honing creativity, and helping students get the latest information about things they are interested in. On the other hand, negative impacts include students' tendency to follow unfavorable trends, such as using harsh language, verbal bullying, spending excessive time on TikTok, being less social and ignoring their surroundings, and experiencing addictions that interfere with various daily activities.

Abstract

Meningkatnya kasus bullying di Indonesia yang berasal dari berbagai aspek baik itu verbal, dan non verbal seperti fisik, sosial, serta cyberbullying. Kasus bullying memberikan dampak yang cukup signifikan dalam aspek kehidupan, salah satunya pada aspek perkembangan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui bagaimana bentuk-bentuk Bullying di SD Negeri Kelapadua IV, 2) mengetahui bagaimana dampak Bullying pada perkembangan sosial siswa kelas tinggi SD Negeri Kelapadua IV, 3) mengetahui bagaimana peran guru dalam mengatasi dampak Bullying pada perkembangan sosial siswa kelas tinggi SD Negeri Kelapadua IV. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dalam penelitian ini: 1) Bentuk-bentuk perilaku bullying yang terjadi di SD Negeri Kelapadua IV (1. bullying verbal yaitu mengejek, memanggil nama orang tua, menyebut kekurangan fisik, sikap, dan perilaku, menyuraki teman, dan lain-lain. 2. bullying non verbal (fisik) yaitu mencubit, mendorong, memukul, dan lain-lain), 2) Dampak bullying pada perkembangan sosial siswa kelas tinggi SD Negeri Kelapadua IV yaitu korban menjadi pendiam, mengurangi komunikasi, takut berinteraksi dengan pelaku, merasa tersisihkan, dan menjadi pemurung. 3) Peran guru dalam mengatasi dampak bullying pada perkembangan sosial siswa kelas tinggi SD Negeri Kelapadua IV yaitu dengan menasehati siswa, membuat kesepakatan di kelas, pemberian pujian pada korban, pemberian motivasi dan semangat, memindahkan tempat duduk, mengadakan kegiatan kerja kelompok, mengadakan kegiatan belajar sambil bermain, memberikan pengarahan, mengadakan diskusi antara korban dan pelaku.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of classroom management on the learning discipline of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Serdang Wetan. This is a quantitative study using a survey method. The population in this study consists of all 120 fifth-grade students, with a sample size of 89 students. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires (surveys). The information obtained from the respondents using this questionnaire was used to determine the effect of classroom management on learning discipline. This study used a partial test (t-test) to determine the hypothesis. The results obtained based on the partial test (t-test) were 4.529 t-calculated > 1.663 t-table with a significance of 0.00<0.05. These results indicate that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is a partial influence between Classroom Management (X) and Learning Discipline (Y). The results of the R Square test or coefficient of determination show that the partial influence of the classroom management variable on learning discipline is 19.1%. This result indicates that classroom management plays an important role in supporting the formation of learning discipline, although it is not the only determining factor. This study is useful as a consideration for teachers and schools in improving learning discipline through more effective classroom management strategies. The limitation of this study lies in the low percentage of contribution, so further research is expected to add other variables such as motivation, family role, and social environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa kelas V B di MI Ad-Da’wah. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruh manajemen kelas terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas V B. Observasi awal di kelas V B MI Ad-Da’wah mengidentifikasi masalah seperti kurangnya antusiasme siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, siswa kurang fokus dalam proses pembelajaran, dan pengelolaan kelas yang kurang efektif, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian korelasi. Populasi pada penelitian ini menggunakan kelas V A dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 27 orang dan kelas V B dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 27 orang. Jadi, total 54 siswa. Dalam hal ini kelas V B sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Purposive sampling dengan Teknik pengumpulan data kuesioner (angket) untuk variabel pengelolaan kelas dan aktivitas belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian bersasarkan uji parsial (uji-t) diperoleh bahwa signifikansi ɑ 0,001 < 0,05 dengan nilai thitung sebesar 4,718 > nilai ttabel sebesar 2,060 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Koefisien determinasi dengan nilai R Square sebesar 0,471. Maka sebesar 47,1% pengelolaan kelas memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa, sementara 52,9% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the issue of discipline in schools, which is an important part of character education to shape a superior generation of Indonesia. Discipline reflects the process of individual character formation related to values, attitudes, and behaviors that have a positive impact on oneself, the environment, and society. This study aims to determine the role of teachers in improving the discipline of sixth-grade students at SDN Kebon Jeruk 11 Pagi. The method used is qualitative with observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Data analysis was conducted descriptively according to the conditions found without generalization. The results of the study indicate that character education is very important and needs to involve schools and parents, for example through recording discipline discussed in parent forums. Teachers also need to instill discipline through a good teaching style and attitude, and help students recognize themselves.

Abstract

The main problem in literacy faced by SD Pusaka Rakyat 02 is the absence of library space and limited reading books owned by the school. The purpose of this activity is to provide digital library management assistance to strengthen literacy and overcome the absence of physical library space. The methods used in this activity include interviews, observations, discussions, presentations, questions and answers, and simulations. The result of this activity is that the teachers can manage the digital library well and gain experience in literacy, especially digital literacy. In addition, digital libraries can also support the learning process in the classroom, motivate students to read a variety of books, and support literacy activities in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of flipbook media created by elementary school teachers using the Heyzine application as a tool to support interactive learning. Using a qualitative approach and content analysis method, this research examines 10 flipbooks developed by teachers at SD Penggilingan 01 Jakarta. Data were collected through product analysis, interviews with teachers, principals, and students, as well as classroom observations. The findings reveal that most teachers were able to design flipbooks with clear structure, engaging visuals, and interactive features such as navigation buttons, audio, video, and animation. These media enhanced students’ engagement and motivation in learning. However, several limitations were identified, especially in optimizing advanced features like animation and interactive quizzes. This study highlights the importance of continuous digital literacy training for teachers to fully utilize educational technology. The integration of teacher-created digital media like flipbooks represents a promising step toward learner-centered and interactive teaching practices in elementary education.

Abstract

Learning discipline is one of the important factors that can affect student learning outcomes. Several problems were found related to the lack of learning discipline in class V-C SDN Meruya Utara 02 Pagi, causing many students who have not been able to achieve KKTP (Criteria for Achieving Learning Objectives), especially in Indonesian language subjects. Through the application of student learning discipline, it is hoped that it can help students to focus during learning so that students are able to achieve more optimal grades. This study aims to determine how the influence of learning discipline on the learning outcomes of V-C grade students in Indonesian language subjects at SDN Meruya Utara 02 Pagi. The type of research used is quantitative research using the pre-experiment design method with the type of one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study was determined using purposive sampling. Then the research sample was determined to be class V-C as many as 24 students. The calculation results obtained by the learning discipline variable of 0.388 > 0.05 and the variable of Indonesian learning outcomes in the pre-test 0.134 > 0.05 and post-test 0.132 > 0.05. That way it can be said that H0 is accepted, which means that the data is normally distributed. In hypothesis testing, the correlation coefficient value is 0.734 and the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05, which means that there is a correlation between the independent variable (learning discipline) and the independent variable (learning outcomes). Then also the results of the T test using paired sample t-test obtained a p value of 0.000 < 0.05 so this shows that there is a significant influence between the pre-test score and the post-test score of students and there is an influence between learning discipline on Grade V Indonesian learning outcomes at SDN Meruya Utara 02 Pagi.

Abstract

This study aims to explore in depth the efforts made by teachers in overcoming reading comprehension difficulties in grade IV students at SD Negeri Babakan, Tangerang Regency. Given the important role of reading comprehension in academic success, this study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, as well as direct observation during learning and analysis of related documents. The findings of the study indicate that teachers apply various strategies to overcome difficulties in reading comprehension. These strategies include the use of text-based learning methods that are appropriate to the level of students' abilities, the application of interactive techniques such as group discussions, and individual approaches to address specific difficulties faced by each student. In addition, teachers also conduct regular formative evaluations to monitor the development of students' reading comprehension. These findings indicate that an approach that is tailored to the individual needs of students and collaboration with parents can improve the effectiveness of the reading learning process. This study recommends the need for more in-depth training for teachers on innovative and adaptive reading teaching strategies to address various challenges in students' reading comprehension.
