Abstract

Quality is the overall set of characteristics of a product or service in satisfying part or all of the needs of consumers. Consumers as product users always compare in choosing or using products so this situation results in the role of quality being increasingly important. The problems faced by PT. ABC is the defect rate that occurs in the production of High Strength Steel Plates, namely in January - September 2017 the defect rate of the High Strength Steel Plates type is 3.28%. This of course greatly affects the efforts of PT. ABC to increase production results or at least reduce the level of defects that occur. The purpose of this research is to find out the factors that cause defects, analyze product defects and analyze the causes for continuous improvement. This can be done using the Kaizen method. This technique uses the basic tools of Seven Tools. The results showed that based on data processing using Seven Tools, it can be seen that the number of defects from the type of defect on the steel plate High Strength Steel Plates during 9 months was wavy defects with a percentage of 26.36%, wrong cut with a percentage of 27.61%, not symmetrical with a percentage of 25.62%, and deep scale with a percentage of 20.39%. The results of the analysis that the cause of wrong cutting defects are caused by human factors that are not careful, lack of concentration, and lack of skill. To overcome this problem, Kaizen or 5S analysis was made. Improvements have been made to the production of High Strength Steel Plates for a period of 9 months, from 3.28% to 2.60% there was a decrease in defects or 0.68%.

Abstract

XYZ Village is an industrial village that produces woven fabrics. Failure in the production process is something that must be traced to the cause so that it can be used as a basis for improving product quality. Total Quality Management (TQM) is an approach to running a business that tries to maximize the competitiveness of an organization through continuous improvement of products, services, people, processes, and the environment. This study was conducted to identify potential causes of failure and improve the quality of woven fabrics in the weaving process in XYZ Village with the TQM method approach. Based on the calculations that have been done, it was found that there are two valid variables and two other invalid variables because the value of r-count > r-table, namely the variable color is less bright and the color is mixed. Then the main factors that cause the quality of woven fabrics to decrease and result in production failures on woven fabrics are inappropriate battens and also color spots on woven fabrics.

Abstract

Sounds that are not desired by the listener, where the sound can distract, interfere with activities, or cause danger during daily activities, can be called noise. Noise at a certain level originating from the sound of work tools in the production process can cause comfort and health to be disturbed. The lousy impact that often occurs if a person is exposed to noise for too long is the effect on hearing, which can cause deafness, but this can be controlled by using hearing protection equipment that will determine the amount of compensation value to be received by the surrounding community. The existence of the Landfill, which is often located in the middle of community settlements, has a direct impact, one of which is noise during every working hour of the Landfill's operations. One example of a Landfill that is still active today is the Klotok Landfill which is located in Pojok District, Kediri City. In this research, noise mapping was carried out to determine the pattern of noise distribution that occurs in the work environment. Making a noise contour map due to these activities will use a software called Surfer, which is a simple program to generate noise curves (noise contours) spatially the location of potentially hazardous areas. The result shows that activities at the Klotok Landfill have noise values ??ranging from 40 to 92 dB. The highest noise is in the location around landfill area 3, which is actively operating. The high noise level also can be found in the weighbridge, which is a place for transporting vehicles to pass. Evaluations at points 17, 18, and 19 indicated the need for protective wear, such as earmuffs or setting a break every 1.4, 3.6, and 2.2 hours for area workers.

Abstract

The number of emerging furniture construction industries and the limited availability of virgin materials force companies to innovate both in terms of products and services provided. One way that can be done is through reverse logistics. Reverse logistics itself has many advantages both for the company, for the sustainability of virgin material and for the surrounding environment. PT. X is a company engaged in furniture construction. The company is currently implementing reverse logistics. However, there has never been an assessment of the effectiveness of its implementation. In this research, an analytical approach is used to measure the effectiveness of RL implementation by using a reverse logistic maturity framework. The result from the assessment based on the reverse logistic maturity framework conducted, PT. X categorized in to developed level.

Abstract

Landfill management in Indonesia is mostly operated by open dumping as well as the Klotok’s Landfill at Klotok Village, Kediri City. This landfill has three lands, and the third landfill is currently actively operating. The pollution is like the occurrence of leaks in leachate storage tanks which is near the Klotok river. That situation can make the leachate enter the river and affect the physicochemical conditions of the water which have an impact on decreasing the diversity and abundance of plankton. The diversity of plankton species in aquatic ecosystems is often used as an indicator to determine the primary productivity of waters and the condition of the aquatic ecosystem, so this research was carried out to determine the diversity of plankton species in the Klotok river, so the quality of the water can be known. This research was conducted in the Klotok River, Kediri City, East Java. Samples were taken upstream of the Klotok River, near the leachate treatment Plant, and downstream of the Klotok River. Samples were taken as much as 21 liters by pouring method. The samples are poured into plankton nets. The result shows that plankton diversity in the water body near Klotok landfill is between 0,49 to 0,67, which indicates that the diversity index according to Shannon-Wiener is 0,49 where the species diversity is low, the number of individual species is low, the ecosystem is unstable, and the waters are degraded.

Abstract

Abstrak ̶ Surabaya merupakan ibu kota provinsi Jawa Timur dan merupakan salah satu kota terbesar yang ada di Indonesia. Banyak perusahaan yang berdiri di Surabaya yang bergerak di bidang industri jasa maupun manufaktur. Sektor pariwisata memiliki pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Kota Surabaya. Dengan semakin bertumbuhnya perekonomian dan pariwisata di Surabaya, saat ini mulai banyak masyarakat Surabaya yang mencoba berwirausaha dalam meningkatkan perekonomian melalui produk olahan makanan dan kerajinan tangan.Wiyung merupakan kecamatan yang ada di Kota Surabaya yang terletak di Surabaya bagian barat. Banyak masyarakat Wiyung yang berwirausaha dengan menjual produk olahan makanan dan kerajinan tangan. Di masa pandemi Covid-19 sekarang ini UMKM di Kecamatan Wiyung mengalami guncangan dan mengalami penurunan omzet. Hal ini terjadi lantaran menurunnya jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Surabaya dan penjualan produk yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Wiyung masih dilakukan secara konvensional. Perlu dilakukan pemasaran produk UMKM melalui internet dengan pendampingan digitalisasi marketing. Tim pengabdian memfokuskan penyelesaian masalah pada aspek strategi peningkatan pemasaran produk UMKM. Pada aspek pemasaran, diperlukan pentingnya foto produk dalam digitalisasi marketing yang menarik. Selain itu, diperlukan pemanfaatan internet sebagai media promosi melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam membuat konten serta teknik fotografi produk untuk menjamin keberlangsungan program pada mitra usaha. Target khusus dalam kegiatan pngabdian ini ditekankan pada pengadaan alat berteknologi tepat guna untuk meningkatkan produktivitas seperti photo studio box, rotating display, dan microphone. Kata Kunci: Foto Produk, Digitalisasi Marketing, Sosial Media, E-Commerce, UMKM.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan ini merupakan kegiatan MBKM Matching Fund 2022. Kegiatan MBKM Matching Fund 2022 ini dilakukan sebagai bentuk kolaborasi antara Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jawa Timur dengan CV. Pawon Ibun. Kegiatan ini dimulai pada tanggal 26 Agustus 2022 dan dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan. CV. Pawon Ibun merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang olahan pangan pendamping ASI non MSG. CV. Pawon Ibun berlokasi di Kelurahan Karang, Kecamatan Semanding, Kabupaten Tuban, Jawa Timur. Produk yang diproduksi terdapat dua belas produk yang terbagi menjadi tiga jenis yakni Abon, Kaldu dan Beras Komplit. Pada kegiatan ini dilakukan pendampingan implementasi HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) di CV. Pawon Ibun. Tujuan dari kegiatan matching fund ini yaitu melakukan pendampingan kepada perusahaan CV. Pawon Ibun dalam bidang HACCP agar dapat meningkatkan kualitas serta mutu dari perusahaan, sehingga dapat menjamin keamanan konsumen dan meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap produk dan perusahaan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui pendampingan yang meliputi pelatihan, observasi lapangan, serta perbaikan proses produksi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu mampu memberikan pemahaman mengenai HACCP dan mewujudkan implementasi HACCP di CV. The 2022 MBKM Matching Fund activity is carried out as a form of collaboration between the East Java “Veteran” National Development University and CV. Pawon Ibun. This activity began on August 26, 2022 and was carried out for three months. CV. Pawon Ibun is a company engaged in the processing of non-MSG complementary foods for breastfeeding. CV. Pawon Ibun is located in Karang Village, Semanding District, Tuban Regency, East Java. The products produced are twelve products which are divided into three types, namely Shredded, Broth and Complete Rice. In this activity, assistance on the implementation of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) was carried out at CV. Pawon Ibun. The purpose of this matching fund activity is to provide assistance to CV companies. Pawon Ibun in the field of HACCP in order to improve the quality and quality of the company, so as to ensure consumer safety and increase consumer confidence in the product and the company. This activity is carried out through assistance which includes training, field observations, and improvement of the production process. Abstract

The benchmark for the success of a business or product is to measure the satisfaction of customers who have used or felt the goods or services. The customer's expectations of the function and emotional happiness factors that arise from the use of goods or services are entirely the responsibility of the producer. So that manufacturers need to focus on what attributes must be presented in a product or service to increase customer satisfaction. The decrease in customer interest in providing vehicle service at an automotive company in Sidoarjo is the problem studied in this study, to analyze the level of customer satisfaction and attributes that are priority improvements as recommendations for the company. Data generated from customers is processed and analyzed using the Service Performance (SERVPERF) and Lean Service methods. Based on the results of data processing, it can be concluded that the level of customer satisfaction with service quality is 82.3%, and three service attributes are classified as a top priority and two types of critical waste.

Abstract

Social media campaign ini memiliki tujuan meningkatkan interaksi dengan potential audiences dan meningkatkan brand awareness produk Tokopedia. Implementasi Digital Marketing dilakukan menggunakan metode Social Media Analytics (SMA) yang merujuk pada pengumpulan informasi dari media sosial dan mengevaluasi informasi tersebut untuk membuat keputusan bisnis. Berdasarkan data tersebut, dilakukan campaign bernama “Man in Sports” dengan menargetkan laki-laki berusia 18-35 tahun. Melalui Instagram, Facebook, dan TikTok Tokopedia, campaign ini dilakukan dalam lima poin utama yaitu historical data insights, target marketing and pesona, social media campaign strategy, content production, dan data-driven content dengan asumsi jangka waktu 3 bulan mulai bulan Oktober hingga bulan Desember. Dalam kampanye ini KPI yang ingin diraih yaitu meningkatkan followers Instagram sebesar 10%, meningkatkan jumlah followers Facebook sebesar 10%, meningkatkan jumlah  followers TikTok sebesar 7% serta meningkatkan engagement rate Instagram Tokopedia dari 0,08% menjadi 0,2%.
