Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of creative mathematical thinking skills for students studying mathematics. This study aims to analyze students' mathematical creative thinking skills in terms of gender. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. The population in this study was 20 grade IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Cimahi who were used as a sample, consisting of 10 male students and 10 female students who were randomly selected. The instrument used in this study is to provide four mathematical creative thinking questions consisting of indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The data in this study were analyzed using the value of the percentage of students who had done mathematical creative thinking problems that had been given and then compared based on gender. The results of the research that has been conducted revealed that overall, the ability of female students to think creatively mathematically is valued higher than the ability of male students to think creatively mathematically. This can be seen in terms of the proportion of overall value or certain aspects. Regarding fluency, male students score higher than female students, while female students score higher on flexibility, originality, and elaboration. It can be concluded that gender can affect students' ability to creative mathematical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study was intended to analyze the impact of distance learning on students' ability to solve math problems. Using the literature search method, this research was carried out by analyzing a range of types of information in qualitative and quantitative data from various texts based on previous studies. The literature exploration system uses a variety of references similar to books, exploration journals, and distance literacy operation modules that analyze students’ mathematical problem-solving skills. The results of this study validate that distance learning can affect students’ mathematical problem-solving skills when teachers use innovative methods and interactive learning media. In fact, students can develop their mathematical problem-solving skills through meaningful learning. This means that students can build their own knowledge with learning that requires independent study on the part of students so that they can construct conceptual discoveries from the material being taught. Students' mathematical problem-solving skills can also be affected by the active role played by students in distance learning. For this purpose, it is necessary for educational institutions to apply appropriate methods of learning and media that allow students to have an active role in the educational process. In addition, educational institutions must strive to provide effective and efficient communication, mentoring, and support services to students and parents.

Abstract

This study intends to determine the feasibility and practicality of worksheets for students of Social Arithmetic material using the Liveworksheets-assisted Problem Based Learning learning model. The development model used is the 4D method which is limited to the third step which includes: define, design and develompment stages. Feasibility test data and practicality of LKPD were collected through observation and questionnaires. The feasibility of LKPD is analyzed based on the results of validation by experts and the practicality of LKPD seen from student questionnaire responses. The subjects of this study were 5 students on a small scale and 30 students on a broad scale. The results of this study show that the LKPD tested is very feasible and very practical to use for learning. This is seen based on the results of validation by experts who get an average of 95% with very valid categories and the practicality of LKPD taken from student response questionnaires with a percentage of 87.56% on a small scale and 88.33% on a broad scale. This shows that LKPD uses the Liveworksheets-assisted Problem Based Learning learning model on Social Arithmetic material is very valid and practical to use.

Abstract

Students have difficultly solving problem in question such as when solving word problrms, asking questions, making steps to solve, and solving problems given. Problem solving skills are a very important part of mathematics curriculum. So the researchers conducted a study that aimed to determine the effect of problem based learning models on problem solving abilities in class VII set material. The development model used is an experimental research type using a quantitative approach. The research data was obtained trough test instruments or scores from the problem solving instrument on set material. Data analysis of problem solving abilities was carried out using the t-test. The subjects of this study were 78 students. The sample was taken by simple random sampling, selected class VII D with a total 10 students as the experimental classs and 10 from class VII E as the control class. The results of this study indicate thet the problem based learning model has an effect on problem solving abilities. This can be seen based on the results of working on essay test question based on students problem solving abilities which get a tcount of 2.5776 while the ttable value is 2.0378. This means that the value of tcount is greater than t table, so in this case it means that H1 is accepted, meaning that there are differences in mathematical problem solving abilities between the experimental class and the control class. This shows that the problem based learning model has an influence on problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Face-to-face learning has been re-implemented by several schools after 2 years offline, and this has caused several obstacles when implementing it. Especially mathematics learning, which tends to require more effort to deliver material. Post-pandemic learning causes didactical obstacles to student and teacher learning during the teaching and learning process. So the purpose of this study is to analyze student barriers to post-pandemic learning. The research method used in this study is qualitative-descriptive, with data collection techniques such as survey methods, observation results, questionnaires, and interviews. The object of this study was 19 grade VIII–4 students and senior teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Cihampelas. This research uses several instruments for students, and the results can be analyzed for obstacles to the post-pandemic learning process. Based on the results of the study, it shows that post-pandemic learning barriers for Grade VIII–4 students are adaptation to a new environment; understanding the material is more difficult and ineffective because the learning process does not involve technology, conventional learning methods, psychological changes, or habits when online learning is still carried over so that it affects face-to-face learning, where students are not ready to get the next material due to the material they previously did not understand due to the lack of maximum understanding of students when learning online. Not only students, but teachers also have their own obstacles when learning after this pandemic, so teachers also need time to be able to adapt to face-to-face meetings that run according to mutual expectations.

Abstract

Tahfidz Al-Qur'an learning serves as a means to enhance students' potential in understanding the Qur'an. Various methods used in Tahfidz Al-Qur'an learning play a crucial role in aligning the educational process with its intended goals. One such method is the Muraja'ah method. The Muraja'ah method in Tahfidz Al-Qur'an learning is designed to train students in reciting the Qur'an according to the principles of Tajweed and Makhrajul Huruf, while also helping to retain their memorization. This study aims to describe: The implementation of the Muraja'ah method in Tahfidz Al-Qur'an learning at MI Rohmaniyah Sukawening Garut. The success in memorizing the Qur'an (Juz 30) at MI Rohmaniyah Sukawening Garut. The influence of the Muraja'ah method on the success of memorizing the Qur'an (Juz 30) among sixth-grade students at MI Rohmaniyah Sukawening Garut. The research adopts a descriptive quantitative approach, gathering data or information related to the observed phenomena. The findings indicate that the Muraja'ah method contributes significantly to the success of Qur'an memorization, with a positive influence rate of 42.52%, which falls into the good category. Therefore, statistical tests confirm a significant relationship between the Muraja'ah method and the success in memorizing the Qur'an. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi kini membawa perubahan signifikan. Manusia menciptakan teknologi dengan motivasi dan dorongan agar hidup menjadi lebih baik. Manusia membuat teknologi dan menciptakan alat-alat untuk mendukung perkembangan informasi. Perkembangan tersebut harus diimbangi dengan hadirnya inovasi sistem informasi pelayanan publik berbasis aplikasi yang bermanfaat bagi pemerintah dan masyarakat. Penerapan sistem informasi mutlak ada di semua organisasi. Karena sistem informasi bukanlah organisasi atau lembaga itu sendiri, melainkan membantu pelaksanaan proses kerja agar dapat berfungsi dengan baik sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Informasi yang tersedia bagi masyarakat membutuhkan informasi yang cepat dan tepat waktu, termasuk penerapan informasi pelayanan publik di Kota Tangerang. Pemerintah Kota Tangerang telah meluncurkan aplikasi berbasis TIK bernama Tangerang Live yang didalamnya terdapat fitur LAKSA. LAKSA merupakan ruang virtual yang disediakan Pemerintah Kota Tangerang dalam menjawab tantangan pelayanan prima kepada masyarakat Kota Tangerang di era cyber, khususnya dalam hal penampung saran maupun pengaduan terkait permasalahan yang ada di wilayah Kota Tangerang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana upaya pemerintah Kota Tangerang dalam mensosialisasikan penerapan sistem informasi dalam aplikasi pada fitur laksa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan induktif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 5 dimensi teori data driven decision making capability yang dikemukakan oleh Lian Jia, Lagu Jiahe dan Dianne Hall (2015).

Abstract

This research aims to examine the achievement of junior high school students' mathematical critical thinking abilities, both overall and based on students' initial ability categories (low, medium, high). Apart from that, this research wants to compare two learning approaches, namely problem based learning and ordinary learning, towards this achievement. The method used in this research was quasi-experimental by selecting research subjects, namely Class VIII Middle School students consisting of 32 students with low, medium and high KAM classifications. The data collection used is based on test results based on indicators of students' critical mathematical thinking abilities. The results of the research prove that the achievement of critical mathematical thinking abilities of students who learn using the problem-based learning model and the achievements of students who study normally viewed as a whole and based on initial abilities (low, medium, high) have significant differences.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the application of the discovery learning model assisted by edpuzzle on the mathematical understanding ability of class VII students in terms of achievement, improvement, and completeness of learning objectives. The method used is a quasi-experimental method with two classes as samples, namely the experimental class and the control class. The technique used to collect data is the mathematical understanding ability question instrument. Data processing is analyzed using the Microsoft Excel application and SPSS 22 software. The results of the study explain that the achievement, improvement and completeness of the achievement of learning objectives for mathematical understanding abilities of class VII junior high school students with the discovery learning model assisted by edpuzzle are better than those using conventional learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi pelayanan publik terhadap kinerja pramusapa layanan Transjakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 1.039 pramusapa, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 105 pramusapa Transjakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada pramusapa layanan Transjakarta. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan menggunakan SPSS Versi 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung 10,107 > ttabel 1,986, nilai regresi linear sederhana sebesar 0,735 dan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,498. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara positif dan signifikan antara motivasi pelayanan publik terhdap kinerja pramusapa layanan Transjakarta. Setiap penambahan nilai motivasi pelayanan publik, maka nilai kinerja pramusapa bertambah sebesar 7,35%. Motivasi pelayanan publik memiliki hubungan yang kuat terhapat kinerja pramusapa Transjakarta. Besarnya pengaruh motivasi pelayanan publik terhadap kinerja pramusapa Transjakarta sebesar 49,8% dari total keseluruhan 100%. Sehingga ketika kinerja pramusapa meningkat maka kepuasan pelanggan juga akan meningkat.
