Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence and relationship of science learning with the PBL model assisted by digital comic media on critical thinking skills in the concluding dimension and further explanation dimension. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research using a pretest-posttest control group design. The type of data used is quantitative and qualitative data using instruments in the form of interviews, question instruments and expert validation sheets. Based on the research results, it was found that the use of the PBL model assisted by digital comic media had a significant effect on the concluding dimensions. This is shown by the posttest average of the concluding dimension in the control class being 72, while the posttest average in the experimental class is 85. The use of the PBL model assisted by digital comic media has a significant effect on the further explanation dimension. This is shown by the average posttest of the concluding dimension in the control class being 75, while the posttest average for the experimental class is 88. Furthermore, there is a relationship between the critical thinking ability of the concluding dimension and further explanation in science learning using the PBL model assisted by digital comic media. This is indicated by a significance value of 0.004 and has a fairly strong relationship with a correlation coefficient of 0.595.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop, describe the level of feasibility, determine user responses and determine the effectiveness of developing a Miniature Solar System Package in Numbered Head Together (NHT) Cooperative Learning to Improve Science Cognitive Learning Outcomes for Class VI Elementary School Students. The type of research used is research and development. The research model in developing teaching materials is the ADDIE model. The type of data used is quantitative and qualitative data using instruments in the form of Pre-research Phase Interview Sheets, Media Expert Validation Instruments, materials and language, Student Response Questionnaire Instruments, Observation Guide Sheets, Question Validation Instruments, test sheets. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the teaching materials that have been developed are suitable for use as teaching materials in class IV Indonesian language content. The expert validation results were 0.824 from material expert validation, 0.88 from design validation, and 0.874 from language expert validation. The response from students obtained a percentage of 94.5% with very good criteria. The teaching materials developed are effective in improving the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDIT UMMI Elementary School, Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This research aims to produce, describe and analyze the development of STM-based science LKPD to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of fourth grade students. In science learning, students are only given verbal explanations, resulting in abstract material. Problems arise because schools use LKPD which do not meet the scope of the learning objectives, because the weakness of the LKPD used so far, specifically natural resource material, is not in accordance with the demands of KD. 3.5 and KD 4.5. The research used in this study used research and development (R&D) data collection techniques in this study interviews, questionnaires, tests and documentation. The research instruments in this study were validation sheets, interview guidelines and document analysis sheets, questionnaires, test sheets, data analysis techniques in this study were qualitative and quantitative descriptive data analysis. The STM-based LKPD teaching materials that were developed were printed teaching materials that were made systematically according to the needs of students at school. The LKPD developed has a title, study instructions, basic competencies (pkok material), supporting information as well as tasks and work steps. The use of STM-based LKPD teaching materials is quite effective because the results obtained from the control class are 0.1600 or 15.9979% moderate. Meanwhile, the N-gain score for the experimental class is 0.3376 or 33.7569%, including the medium category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyzed the influence of Powtoon media in problem based natural sciences learning on the critical thinking abilities of fifth grade elementary school students in the aspects of interpretation, analysis and inference. The research design used was Quasi-Experimental research with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group design. The type used is quantitative data non-test instruments in the form of expert validation sheets and tests in the form of critical thinking ability tests. Based on the results of the studied, it can be concluded that powtoon media in problem based natural sciences learned can improve critical thinking skills in aspects of interpretation. The average posttest in the control class was (76.36), the experimental class was (87.00). The percentage of N-Gain calculation is (81%) with large categories. The average posttest in the control class was (73.64), the experimental class was (85.00). The percentage of N-Gain value is (81%) with large categories. The used of powtoon media in problem based natural sciences learned has a significant effect on critical thinking skills in inferential aspects. The average posttest in the control class was (74.55), the experimental class was (86.00). The N-Gain value is (0.91) if the percentage is (81%) with a large category. The relationship between critical thinking skills in aspects of interpretation and analysis together with inference has a positive relationship with a very strong level of relationship with coefficiency (0.92). Aspects of analysis and inference with coefficient (0.59). Aspects of interpretation and analysis have coefficient (0.80). The used of powtoon media in problem based natural science learned can improve critical thinking skills in aspects of interpretation, analysis, and interpretation in large categories and has a positive relationship with a very strong level of relationship.

Abstract

This research aims to develop: Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on project based learning to improve the ability to write narratives in an ecoliteracy context. The research was conducted at SDN 85 Central Bengkulu in class IV. This research is development research (Research and Development) with a 4D model, namely the definition, design, development and disseminate stages. The instruments used were feasibility test questionnaires and student response questionnaires and teacher interview guidelines. The feasibility test was carried out by 6 validators. User response testing was carried out on 20 class IV students and 1 class teacher in the trial class. Data analysis was used to determine the validity of the LKPD using cross tabulation and distribution of questionnaires for student responses as well as interviews for teacher responses in using percentage technique LKPD and processed descriptively. The results of the LKPD feasibility test by the validator were reviewed from the material, language and display presentation aspects, the material feasibility was obtained 0.80 (feasible criteria), the language feasibility results were 0.70 (feasible criteria) and the appearance feasibility results were 0.80 (very feasible criteria). The results of the LKPD field test by conducting a post test and pre test with the results of the knowledge gain test showed 20 students with a high criterion gain count of 4 students with a percentage of 20% then medium criteria 14 students with a percentage of 70% then low criteria 2 students with a percentage 10 %. Then, to test the gain of narrative text writing skills, 15 people had high criteria or 75% and 5 people had medium criteria or 25%. Apart from that, the results of interviews with class IV teachers showed a positive response. In other words, the LKPD used is beneficial and effective for use as a learning medium in improving students' narrative text writing skills.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using the problem based model (PBL) on prosocial behavior and social studies learning motivation in class V of SD Gugus IX Bengkulu City. This type of research is quantitative research. The research method used is quasi experimental design with the type of design "the matching only pretest-posttest control group design." The population in this study was elementary school cluster IX in Bengkulu City. The sampling technique uses random sampling. The sample in this study was class VD SDN 82 Kota Bengkulu as the experimental class and class VB SDN 73 Kota Bengkulu as the control class. The research instrument used was a questionnaire on prosocial behavior and student learning motivation which was given through initial and final questionnaires in the experimental class and control class. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, namely the t-test. The research data were processed using the t-test by looking at the gain value, it was found that the t-count value of prosocial behavior was 15.77 and student learning motivation was 6.79 and the t-table value was 2.07. Statistically, it can be seen that tcount of prosocial behavior (15.77) and student learning motivation (6.79) > ttable (2.07) at the 5% significance level. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of the problem based learning model on social studies learning motivation in class V of SD Gugus IX Bengkulu City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the effect of using augmented reality media with flash cards in project based learning on  higher order thinking skills aspects of analyzing, evaluating, creating in grade 5 students. Analyzing the relationship between high-level thinking abilities, aspects of analysis, evaluation together with aspects of creation. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research or quasi-experimental research using the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The design of this study was through several processes, namely the pretest, the implementation of learning in the experimental class and the control class and the implementation of the posttest. The type of data used is quantitative data using instruments in the form of interviews, needs analysis, question instruments, expert validation sheets. Based on the results of the N-Gain test research aspect analysis, the control class had an average test result of 72.00, while the experimental class had an average test result of 83.24. Based on the results of the N-Gain test research, the evaluation aspect of the control class had an average test result of 72.86, while the experimental class had an average test result of 84.84. Based on the results of the N-Gain test research, the aspect of creating the control class in this study was that the average test result was 74.40, while in the experimental class the average test result was 84.80. There is a relationship between aspects of high-level thinking, analysis and evaluation together with aspects of creation. obtained sig value. 2 tailed is 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the emergence of creative thinking elements and process skills in the student handbook of the Natural Sciences subject of the Natural Sciences content. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. This study uses data analysis techniques using the content analysis method. The results of the study show that: (1) Fluency of thinking (fluency) the emergence of descriptor 1 is 21 occurrences, the emergence of descriptor 2 is 3 occurrences. (2) Flexibility of thinking (flexibility) the emergence of descriptor 1 is 47 occurrences, the emergence of descriptor 2 is 2 occurrences. (3) Original thinking (originality) the emergence of descriptor 1 is 12 occurrences. (4) Process skills observe the occurrence of descriptor 1 as many as 7 occurrences and descriptor 2 as many as 23. Questioning and predicting the occurrence of descriptor 1 as many as 31 occurrences and descriptor 2 as many as 36 occurrences. Planning and conducting investigations of the occurrence of descriptor 1 as many as 30 occurrences and descriptor 2 as many as 23 occurrences. Processing, analyzing data and information organizing data in the form of presenting data identifying patterns of occurrence of descriptor 1 as many as 18 occurrences and descriptor 2 as many as 2 occurrences, Evaluating and reflecting on the occurrence of descriptor 1 as many as 24 occurrences and descriptor 2 no occurrences, and Communicating the results of the occurrence of descriptor 1 10 occurrences and descriptor 2 as many as 27 occurrences.
