Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive multimedia with non-example-based examples of inquiry-based science learning on animal digestive organs for class v students, especially the dimensions of process, product, and application. The type of research used was the research and development (Rh & D) with the 4D model (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate). Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the research, and development stage performed in three stages without the Disseminate stage. The research instrument was the questionnaires, interview guidelines, and validation sheets. Validated aspects include the appropriateness of the material, language, and appearance. The validators who validated the media aspects consisted of lecturers and teachers. The user responses were from the responses of 20 fifth-grade students and one teacher. Based on the research and discussion results, it was concluded that interactive multimedia with non-example based on inquiry was very appropriate for learning science content on theme 3 Healthy Food, material for animal digestive organs.

Abstract

This research aims to develop NHT-based teaching materials for science subjects in various styles for fourth grade elementary school students. The type of research in this research is research and development or Research and Development (R&D) ADDIE model. The results of this research show 1. The first stage was carried out by analyzing the needs analysis curriculum in Class IV of SD Negeri 119 Kaur. The design stage was carried out by preparing a product plan for NHT-based science teaching materials on materials of various styles for grade IV elementary schools based on the results of curriculum analysis, analysis of teacher and student needs. The product design carried out in developing NHT-based teaching materials is as follows: (a) compiling teaching materials, (b) format selection, (c) initial design. 2. Material suitability has an average Aiken's V number of 0.80 (Very Valid), language suitability has an average Aiken's V number of 0.98 (Very Valid), presentation feasibility, namely validation results, has an average Aiken's V number of 0.85 ( Very Valid). Based on the validation results from the third aspect, it can be concluded that the product is suitable for use. 3. NHT-based teaching materials in various class IV styles are considered effective in improving student learning outcomes in science learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to a) produce Pop Up Book learning media, b) describe the feasibility of the media and c) the effectiveness of the application to know the effectiveness of the application Pop Up Book media on TGT type cooperative learningon the results of science learning cognitive aspects of students on animal life cycle material in class IV SDN 17 Bengkulu City. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) in the ADDIE model. The types of data used are qualitative and quantitative data using interview instruments, needs analysis questionnaires, expert validation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The results of the material expert validation with a V coefficient of 0.77, the results of language validation with a V coefficient of 0.83 and the results of media validation with a V coefficient of 0.86. From the results of student responses obtained a positive response of 94.16%. Based on the results of the t test with a significance value (2-tailed) obtained 0.023 <0.025, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the N-Gain test, a value of 66.20% was obtained in the experimental class and 48.17% in the control class. Thus it can be concluded thatPop Up Book media is suitable for use in learning and is quite effective in improving science learning outcomes in cognitive aspects of class IV SDN 17 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of STEAM-based virtual reality media on Science Literacy in Science Education at the Elementary School level, specifically in terms of content, context, competence, and attitude. The research design used is a Quasi-Experimental or quasi-experimental study with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group design to examine the impact of using virtual reality media with a STEAM approach on content, context, competence, and science literacy attitude. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that STEAM-based virtual reality media is suitable for use as teaching material in the 6th-grade Science curriculum, specifically on the topic of the solar system. The validation results show a percentage of 80% for content, 78% for language, and 86% for design. The research results indicate that in terms of content, the average learning outcomes of the experimental group were 38.04, while the control group had an average of 20.23, as evidenced by the Mann-Whitney test for science literacy. In terms of context, the average learning outcomes of the experimental group were 36.69, compared to 21.40 for the control group. Regarding competence, the inferential test for science literacy showed a mean rank of 39.79 for the experimental group and 18.73 for the control group. As for attitude, the inferential test results revealed a mean rank of 89.13 for the experimental group and 82.67 for the control group. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of STEAM-based virtual reality media on the content, context, competence, and attitude aspects of Science Literacy in Science Education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop, describe the level of feasibility, find out user responses and find out the effectiveness of AKM learning materials to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes. The type of research used is research and development (Research and development). The research model in the development of teaching materials is the ADDIE model. The types of data used are quantitative and qualitative data with instruments: interviews, needs analysis, questions, expert validation sheets and user response questionnaires. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that the AKM-oriented teaching materials and the CTL approach developed were suitable for use as teaching materials in Class V Natural Sciences (IPA) content on water cycle materials. Expert validation was carried out for aspects of material feasibility, language, and design. Percentage of validation results of material aspects (67%), language (78%) and design 78%. Based on the results of the student response questionnaire to the subject matter from the presentation aspect, the proportion was 87% in the high category, the material aspect was 87% in the high category and the language aspect was 88% in the high category. AKM-oriented teaching materials and the CTL approach are effective for improving the cognitive learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 87 Lebong based on the effect size (1.24) in the very effective category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of using flipbook media with the STEAM approach on scientific literacy. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research or quasi-experimental research using the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The design of this study was through several processes, namely the pretest, the implementation of learning in the experimental class and the control class and the implementation of the posttest. The types of data used are quantitative and qualitative data using instruments in the form of interviews, needs analysis questionnaires, question instruments, expert validation sheets and user response questionnaires. The use of flipbook media with the STEAM approach has a significant effect on scientific literacy skills in the competency aspect. The average results of competency aspects of scientific literacy in the control class were (85.45). The average results of the competence aspect of scientific literacy in the experimental class were (89.78). The effect size value is (0.91) if the percentage is (82%) in the large category. The use of flipbook media with the STEAM approach can improve scientific literacy skills in context, content and competency aspects in large categories.

Abstract

One of the skills that must be possessed in the development of the 21st century is critical thinking skills. To improve critical thinking skills, an appropriate learning model is needed. . The purpose of this study are determine the influence of the diorama media-assisted Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model on critical thinking skills in elementary science learning. The method used in this study was an experimental method while the research design of this study uses Quasi-Experiment. The data for this study were obtained from collected with an instrument in the form of a test consisting of ten multiple-choice questions and five validated description questions. The data obtained were analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests. Test Pair Sample T-Test and Independent Sample Test T-Test for dimensions of critical thinking ability to identify problems, collect relevant information, make problem solving and make conclusions obtained Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. Meanwhile, for the N-Gain test, the ability dimension to identify problems by 49% in the medium category, the ability dimension to collect various relevant information by 44% in the medium category, the ability to make problem solving dimension by 39% in the medium category, and the ability to make conclusions dimension by 41% in the medium category. The results of this study suggest that by using the diorama assisted Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model can improve students' critical thinking skills in Class V science learning.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of the Snowball Throwing cooperative learning model on cognitive learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design method. The population of this study were students in class VA and VB, which consisted of 60 students. Data collection techniques in this study are through documentation, questionnaires, observation, questionnaires and tests. The test used to measure students' cognitive learning outcomes is in the form of multiple choice questions totaling 20 items related to the content of the Natural Sciences lesson, theme 7, material changes in the form of objects. Questionnaires were given to students to assess students' scientific attitudes from the dimensions of being curious and open-minded in the form of positive and negative statements as many as 15 statements. The results showed that the average cognitive learning outcomes of students at level 1 of knowledge, cognitive learning outcomes of students at level 2 of application or application, and cognitive learning outcomes of students at level 3 of scientific reasoning and attitudes of students in the dimension of curiosity using the Snowball Throwing cooperative learning model in Science learning in general is very good. The N-Gain test from the pretest and posttest results of cognitive learning and scientific attitude is included in the medium category. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it was concluded that there was an influence of the Snowball Throwing type of cooperative learning model on students' cognitive learning outcomes and scientific attitudes of fifth grade students at SDN 06 Ujan Mas, science content.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of the material, language, design, student response, and the effectiveness of the product resulting from the development of an RME-based e-module using the Bubungan Lima traditional house to improve understanding of concepts in elementary school mathematics learning. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study. The model used in development is the ADDIE model. The subjects in the study were students of SDN 82 Bengkulu City, totaling 22 students in class IV D as the control class, and 22 students in class IV B as the experimental class. The instruments used in this study were interview guides, questionnaires, and conceptual understanding tests in the form of essay questions through pretest and posttest. To measure the effectiveness of conceptual understanding, tests were carried out before and after learning took place in the experimental class and the control class. The data analysis technique in this study was validation analysis using Aiken's V, Interrater Reliability, student responses, and t-test. From the research results it is known that the results of material, language, and design validation, as well as teacher and student responses to e-modules are very feasible and well used in learning. The result of the Significance value is 0.00 which is smaller than α = 0.05. Based on the gain-score test from the use of the e-module, it gives a moderate gain score of 48%. So that the understanding of the mathematical concepts of students who use e-modules based on the RME model using the Bubungan Lima traditional house is higher than students who only use textbooks from school so that it is declared effective.

Abstract

This research aims to produce an E-worksheet product based on the Project Based Learning (PJBL) model using traditional Bengkulu food to improve the ability to solve mathematical problems in class rounding material. IV elementary school. This research is a Research and Development study (R&D with the ADDIE model. The subjects in this research were students of SDN 52 Bengkulu City, totaling 26 students in class IV B as the control class, and 26 students in class IV C as the experimental class. The instruments used in this research is an interview guide, questionnaire, and problem solving test in the form of essay questions via pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique in this research is validation analysis using Aiken's V and Interrater Reliability, teacher and student responses, as well as quantitative analysis using the t test. From the research results It is known that the results of material, language and design validation, as well as teacher and student responses to E-worksheets are very feasible and good for use in learning so that students are happy and interested in learning. The results of the effectiveness of E-worksheets are effective in influencing students' mathematical problems. Judging from the results of the scores The significance is 0.00, which is smaller than α = 0.05. Based on the gain-score test from using the E-worksheet, it gives a moderate gain score of 53%. So the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who use PjBL-based E-worksheets with typical Bengkulu food ingredients are higher than students who only use textbook worksheets from school so they are declared effective.
