Cultural transformation in Bali influences the consumptive behavior of working women in Bali in complex ways. Brand perception as the only factor to be considered in shopping, or in cultural and religious activities in Bali; tends to give rise to new patterns of hedonistic behavior, which are not only among the class, but also among ordinary people. Overall, this study shows that brand equity and cultural transformation can influence the consumptive behavior of working women in Bali. Storynomics tourism is about packaging the beautiful charm of a tourist destination in an interesting story, so that it becomes an attraction for foreign tourists visiting places of interests in Indonesia. Every tourist destination in Indonesia has its own uniqueness and this can be packaged in the form of storynomics tourism which can promote tourism and the creative economy in Indonesia. Designing storynomics agritourism at Batungsel Village, Tabanan Regency, Bali was realized through several stages, namely (1) compiling tour packages connecting one place to another with the close routes, (2) telling the stories about Robusta coffee roasting and its local wisdom, and (3) developing agritourism high quality fruits at Batungsel village. All of these steps were applied in accordance with the main focus of the Community Empowerment Program designed to develop agritourism at the rural area of Bali.

Abstract

A very crucial issue that needs serious attention for tourism development in rural areas is waste management. Thus, anticipation and solutions to problems, including the environmental impact, are needed in developing villages as agritourism areas. The purpose of this research is to identify programs required by the community to promote a tourist destination, manage agritourism, and overcome environmental problems. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a community service approach. The research subjects included community leaders, women's groups (PKK), youth, farmer groups, and relevant local partners such as tourism business groups. In-depth interviews with community leaders, women, youth, and farmer groups were used to collect data. The instrument used was an interview sheet. After the data was collected, it was analyzed using the descriptive qualitative data analysis method. The results obtained include three things. First, tourism and human resource management programs resulted in a positive attitude toward creating a tourist attraction connectivity map. Second, in the agricultural sector, farmers showed their active participation, which was realized by structuring the garden by installing QR code-based plant signboards and developing organic farming. Third, the community's positive attitude in the environmental sector is shown by making compost from organic waste produced by women's groups and diversifying coffee businesses. This research is expected to create a pattern of community empowerment for agro-tourism areas supported by the active participation of village communities.

Abstract

The rapid increase in women's employment opportunities in Indonesia’s tourism sector, particularly in the informal sector, highlights their crucial role in the economic development of tourism villages. This study examines women's participation in the hotel industry and their adaptation and innovation in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across Bali, Banyuwangi, Banten, and Jogja. Using participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies, the research finds that women play strategic roles as business managers, tourism drivers, and cultural preservers. However, challenges such as limited capital access and market constraints persist, influenced by resource availability, infrastructure, local culture, and market potential. Despite these barriers, women leverage government and private sector training programs to enhance their skills and overcome obstacles. Strengthening women’s empowerment in tourism villages is essential for sustaining local economic growth and improving community welfare.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic has weakened the economy of the world community. The resulting impact is felt by all levels of rural and urban society; among parents, adults and children. Amid the economic downturn, people must survive. Various alternative efforts were made so that people could still eat and receive education. Especially school children who are very risky if their education is stopped for a relatively long time. This condition motivates the HIMA Accounting and Management of Triatma Mulya University to implement the PHP2D program through the optimization of the Banjar Hall as a Learning Center in the Covid 19 Pandemic Era in Cepaka Village, Tabanan, Bali. used as an arena for monthly meetings. Through this PHP2D program, the Banjar Hall is now equipped with internet facilities, work desks and bookshelves for libraries. Every day at 15-18 wita the children in each banjar; come to study with the help of students and lecturers. The availability of free internet and the presence of 5 students as teachers / mentors in each banjar make a positive contribution to the community and children in Cepaka village. After four months of this activity, a very harmonious relationship was formed between students and school children ranging from elementary and junior high schools. School children, totaling nearly 150 children, are trained in their learning, academic, soft skills and hard skills in order to grow into a superior generation. This activity received a warm welcome from the community, even the Head of Kediri Sub-district was very grateful and made Cepaka Village the first project pilot village to provide a learning house with free wi-fi. It is hoped that in the next period other villages can also be developed, students help children in learning so that they can achieve their goals.
