Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Implementasi Tes Kemampuan Akademik (TKA) sebagai instrumen asesmen nasional menuntut guru Bahasa Indonesia menguasai analisis soal berbasis literasi membaca dan mampu menyusun instrumen HOTS secara mandiri. Observasi awal menunjukkan kesenjangan pemahaman guru terhadap struktur TKA dan keterbatasan dalam mengembangkan soal prediksi yang kontekstual. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membekali guru Bahasa Indonesia dengan kemampuan menganalisis dan menyusun soal prediksi TKA yang valid dan kontekstual untuk diimplementasikan di sekolah masing-masing. Pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif dengan dukungan data kuantitatif diterapkan melalui pelatihan partisipatif dan iterative mentoring, yaitu pendampingan berulang yang melibatkan praktik, umpan balik, dan revisi, kepada 40 guru Bahasa Indonesia SMA di Kabupaten Brebes. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pre-test, post-test, observasi langsung, dan angket evaluasi kepuasan. Pemahaman konseptual TKA meningkat 30% dengan rerata skor post-test 4,8; sebanyak 30 guru berhasil menganalisis minimal 10 butir soal dengan klasifikasi kognitif tepat; tercipta bank soal berisi 30 butir berbasis HOTS yang siap digunakan; dan tingkat kepuasan peserta mencapai 4,9 dari skala 5,0. Kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan terbukti efektif dalam mempersiapkan guru menyusun soal prediksi TKA, tetapi diperlukan program lanjutan untuk menjaga konsistensi penerapan di kelas. Kata kunci: Asesmen Literasi Membaca; Pelatihan Guru; Tes Kemampuan Akademik; Soal HOTS. ABSTRACTThe implementation of the Academic Competency Test (TKA) as a national assessment instrument requires Indonesian language teachers to master literacy-based question analysis and develop HOTS instruments independently. Initial observations revealed gaps in teachers' understanding of TKA structure and limitations in developing contextual predictive questions. To equip Indonesian language teachers with the ability to analyze and construct valid and contextual TKA predictive questions for implementation in their respective schools. A descriptive qualitative approach was applied through participatory training and iterative mentoring involving 40 high school teachers in Brebes. Data collection employed pre-tests, post-tests, direct observations, and satisfaction evaluation questionnaires. Conceptual understanding of TKA increased by 30% with mean post-test scores of 4.8; 30 teachers successfully analyzed at least 10 question items with accurate cognitive classification; a question bank containing 30 HOTS-based items ready for use was created; and participant satisfaction reached 4.9 on a 5.0 scale. The training and mentoring activities proved effective in preparing teachers to construct TKA predictive questions, though follow-up programs are needed to maintain consistent classroom implementation. Keywords: Reading Literacy Assessment; Teacher Training; Academic Competency Test; HOTS Questions.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Masyarakat termasuk guru masih beranggapan bahwa membawakan acara merupakan bakat bawaan yang hanya dimiliki sebagian orang. Anggapan tersebut merupakan pengingkaran dari fakta bahwa membawakan acara merupakan keterampilan yang dapat dikuasai oleh semua orang. Untuk mampu menguasai keterampilan membawakan acara, diperlukan latihan secara konsisten dan praktik langsung. Tujuan: Tujuan PkM ini ialah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membawakan acara melalui integrasi pengalaman, teori, dan praktik. Metode: Metode yang diterapkan meliputi studi kasus berbasis pengalaman, diskusi interakti, dan praktik. Hasil: Terdapat pengingkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan dasar sebagai pewara pada peserta. Kesimpulan: Pelatihan dengan mengintegrasikan pengalaman, materi, dan praktik terbukti efektif dalam membantu peserta merefleksi diri dan mengembangkan keterampilan mewara. Peserta menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan dasar dalam mewara, khususnya pada penyusunan rundown, pengembangan naskah acara, dan pembawaan acara.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the writing ability of class VII participants which was still not optimal. All of this is based on the fact that interest in writing is still low, difficulty in expressing ideas or ideas into narrative texts, often looking at original texts when creating stories or essays. This research aims to describe the application of the "Ada Tawa Ceria" strategy and short film media by Elka Sinema in learning to write narrative texts for class VII students at SMPN 25 Semarang for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use test and non-test techniques. The test technique consists of assigning narrative text writing skills according to the short film shown by paying attention to the structure of the narrative text. Non-test techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the "Ada Tawa Ceria" strategy and short film media can be applied to students, especially when learning Indonesian with narrative text learning material. This learning strategy and learning media can be an alternative for teachers in teaching narrative text material.

Abstract

The need for public speaking skills among students, especially in presentations, is the basis for implementing this community service activity. The continued presence of monotonous presentation habits and the inconsistency of content with good presentation standards support the need for this program to be implemented. The purpose of implementing this community service is to optimize students' public speaking skills, especially in technology-based presentations, at SMA N 2 Semarang. The approach used in this is a community development approach. The stages used in it are 1) experience-based discussions, 2) material presentation (knowledge of public speaking techniques), 3) demonstration of making presentation media based on digital platforms, 4) guided practice, 5) independent practice, and 6) providing feedback and evaluation. Throughout these stages, participants performed well, with an average score of 87. This value is obtained based on assessment aspects, including clarity of delivery, material structure, use of digital media, and self-confidence. This community service program is effective in achieving the stated objectives and contributes to strengthening students' soft skills, helping them meet the demands of communication in the digital era. Based on all activities, participants have been able to apply interesting and interactive presentation techniques.

Abstract

Lasem Chinatown is widely recognized as a multicultural space that has united Javanese, Chinese, and Arab communities for centuries. This interaction has shaped diverse linguistic practices, including Indonesian, Javanese, Mandarin, and Arabic. This study aims to describe the dynamics of language attitudes toward these four languages ​​within the context of diglossia. A descriptive qualitative approach was used. Data were collected through interviews with five respondents, field observations, and supporting sources of both direct and online documentation. The researcher became the main instrument assisted by interview guide and observation notes. Data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the Lasem Chinatown community exhibits positive attitudes toward Indonesian and Javanese, which are used in formal and everyday communication. Conversely, Mandarin has experienced language shift, as it is no longer actively used in social interactions and remains largely symbolic. Meanwhile, Arabic, particularly at the Kauman Islamic boarding school, exhibits positive attitudes in the religious sphere. This suggests that the use of Arabic in the boarding school reflects the continuity of Islamic tradition rather than the presence of Arab ethnicity. Thus, these dynamics highlight the clear functional distribution of languages.

Abstract

This study aims to describe media representation of the phenomenon of online gambling in Indonesia through a corpus-assisted critical discourse analysis approach, with a focus on news in Kompas.com. The method used is corpus-based critical discourse analysis, which allows systematic exploration of news data to identify language patterns that frame the issue of online gambling. The analysis was conducted on a news corpus containing 5613 words and 43042 tokens using the AntConc application. The results show that the words “gambling” and “online” have the highest frequency, signaling the main focus on this phenomenon. The dominant social actors are government officials, such as “Budi Arie,” who is portrayed positively as a pioneer in eradicating online gambling, while online gambling perpetrators are portrayed destructively. Victims are seen as suffering and in need of external intervention. The social actions represented highlight the government's efforts to eradicate online gambling, with word choices that emphasize the urgency of handling this problem. Kompas.com frames the issue of online gambling by strengthening the role of the government as a protector, the perpetrator as a public enemy, and the victim as a party that needs to be saved. This study implies that online mass media play an important role in shaping public discourse, emphasizing the legal and moral sides, and introducing various perspectives that frame this issue.Representasi Media terhadap Fenomena Perjudian Online di Indonesia melalui Kajian Wacana Kritis Berbantuan KorpusPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan representasi media terhadap fenomena perjudian online di Indonesia melalui pendekatan analisis wacana kritis berbantuan korpus, dengan fokus pada berita di Kompas.com. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis wacana kritis berbasis korpus, yang memungkinkan eksplorasi sistematis data berita untuk mengidentifikasi pola bahasa yang membingkai masalah perjudian online. Analisis dilakukan pada korpus berita yang berisi 5613 kata dan 43042 token menggunakan aplikasi AntConc. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kata "perjudian" dan "online" memiliki frekuensi tertinggi, menandakan fokus utama pada fenomena ini. Aktor sosial yang dominan adalah pejabat pemerintah.  Aksi sosial yang diwakili menyoroti upaya pemerintah untuk memberantas perjudian online, dengan pilihan kata yang menekankan urgensi penanganan masalah ini. Kompas.com membingkai isu judi online dengan memperkuat peran pemerintah sebagai pelindung, pelaku sebagai musuh publik, dan korban sebagai pihak yang perlu diselamatkan. Penelitian ini menyiratkan bahwa media massa online berperan penting dalam membentuk wacana publik, menekankan sisi hukum dan moral, serta memperkenalkan berbagai perspektif yang membingkai isu ini.
