Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh belum terdatanya jenis-jenis pohon dan informasi ekologis hutan perlindungan di kawasan Bukit Cogong. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui Indeks Keanekaragaman (H’) spesies vegetasi strata pohon dan mengetahui faktor lingkungan abiotik di areal hutan perlindungan kawasan Bukit Cogong. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Point Centered Quarted, yaitu salah satu metode pengukuran yang tidak menggunakan plot atau metode plotless. Penelitian ini di buat 3 area kajian yaitu area kajian A, area kajian B, dan area kajian C. Secara keseluruhan luas area penelitian yaitu 17 ha atau 170.000 m2 yang diambil 20% dari keseluruhan luas areal hutan perlindungan yaitu 85 ha atau 850.000 m2, sehingga luas masing-masing area kajian 56.666m2. Pada masing-masing area kajian diletakkan 10 stand. Pada setiap stand penelitian diletakkan garis transek utama sepanjang 560 m. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh rerata di area kajian A sebesar 1,38, area kajian B sebesar 1,14 dan area kajian C sebesar 1,36. Rerata Indeks Keanekaragaman jenis vegetasi strata pohon di areal hutan perlindungan kawasan Bukit Cogong secara keseluruhan tergolong sedang melimpah dengan kriteria H’ ≤1≤ H’ 3 dan faktor lingkungan abiotik yang terukur di area kajian A, B dan C pada areal hutan perlindungan kawasan Bukit Cogong hasilnya tidak berbeda jauh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengembangkan multimedia interaktif yang layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi; 2) mengetahui kualitas multimedia interaktif hasil pengembangan ditinjau dari aspek kelayakan isi, bahasa dan gambar, penyajian dan kegrafikaan, menurut ahli materi, ahli media, guru biologi, dan teman sejawat, 3) mengetahui peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan multimedia interaktif Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R&D) model 4-D yang dimodifikasi menjadi 3-D. Tahapan model 3-D meliputi define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), dan develop (pengembangan). Penilaian produk dilakukan oleh satu ahli materi yang meliputi aspek kelayakan isi, dan aspek bahasa dan gambar, satu ahli media yang meliputi aspek penyajian, dan aspek kegrafikaan, satu guru biologi, dan tiga teman sejawat yang meliputi aspek kelayakan isi, bahasa dan gambar, penyajian, dan kegrafikan. Subjek ujicoba produk adalah siswa kelas XI SMA N 2 Wates, sembilan siswa untuk ujicoba terbatas, dan 29 siswa untuk ujicoba lapangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket, lembar observasi, dan tes (pretest-posttest).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan telah layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi; 2) kualitas multimedia interaktif ditinjau dari aspek kelayakan isi, menurut ahli materi, ahli media, guru biologi, dan teman sejawat memiliki kategori sangat baik; 3) terjadi peningkatan motivasi siswa sebelum dan setelah menggunakan multimedia interaktif dengan nilai rerata angket sebesar 29,34 dan 32,80 serta memiliki kategori sedang dengan nilai gain score sebesar 0,33; dan 4) terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan multimedia interaktif dengan kategori sedang dengan rerata gain sebesar 0,42 dan peningkatan 68,97% siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar.

Abstract

This Community Service Program is motivated by the large number of lands that have changed their function as both residential land and plantation land in the village of Mulyoharjo, especially oil palm plantations. The plantations produce palm oil waste which is largely unused, including oil palm fronds. In addition, the impact of these plantations is the reduction in open land used by cattle farmers as animal feed. Therefore the STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau PKM Team tried to apply the use of palm fronds as an alternative to cattle feed. Palm fronds are one of the byproducts or can be said to be waste from oil palm plantations. The abundant amount of palm midrib can be used as animal feed. Palm midrib itself Has nutritional content that is 48.78% dry matter, crude protein 5.3%, hemicellulose 21.1%, cellulose 27.9%, crude fiber 31.09%, ash 4.48%, BETN 51.87 %, lignin 16.9% and silica 0.6%. This activity has been carried out by involving partners namely the people of Mulyoharjo Village and was followed with enthusiasm. The output targets to be achieved by the PKM team are the improvement of community values and publications. In practice, using theoretical and practical methods begins with the preparation, material and practice of making cattle feed from palm fronds.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement in biology learning outcomes of class X students of SMA 7 Lubuklinggau by applying the student facilitator and explaining learning model. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is a study consisting of 2 cycles where each cycle consists of four steps: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection was carried out with the teacher activity observation sheet and the daily test sheet. The subjects of this study were 38 students of class X in SMA Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau. From the research results it is known that by applying the student facilitator and explaining learning model, students who reach KKM from 52.88% in the first cycle to 86.21% in the second cycle. Based on the analysis of these data it can be concluded that by applying the learning facilitator and explaining learning model the quality of learning in Biology subjects in class X SMA Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau increases. The magnitude of the increase in student learning outcomes in class X SMA Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau on biology learning using the student facilitator and explaining learning model by 33.33%. Conclusion, an increase in biology learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau by applying the student facilitator and explaining learning model. Abstract

The research aims at (1) finding the diversity index (H') of bushes vegetation stratum, and (2) abiotic environment factors at Cogong hill. This research used plotless method with Point Centered Quarter Method by classifying into three scopes, namely, research scope A, B and C with 10 items each. Based on the result, the diversity index average (H') of bushes vegetation stratum at Cogong hill in research scope A was 2,13; scope B was 1,77 and scope C was 1,61. The air temperature at Cogong hill was between 28,30C-300C, the air humidity was between 86 % - 93 %, the soil temperature was between 27,30C-29,60C, the soil humidity was between 8% - 17 % and the soil scale of acidity (pH) was between 6,3-6,7. In conclusion, the average of H' in scope A, B, and C was in medium-abundant category. Keywords : diversity , bushes stratum, protected forests, cogong hill

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of stratum vegetation in Sulap City, Lubuklinggau City based on composition, density of vegetation types and to know abiotic factors for stratum vegetation in Sulap Hill, Lubuklinggau City. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The method used is the distance method (Centered Quarter Point). The population in this study were all species of stratum vegetation in the Bukit Sulap vegetation in Lubuklinggau City. The analysis used is in the form of density, frequency, dominance, important value index, and diversity index. The results of the study, obtained data in the study area A found 16 species of pole strata. In the study area B, 14 species of stratum were obtained, whereas in the study area C, 24 species of stratum were found. Measured abiotic factors are the air temperature in the Sulap Hill of Lubuklinggau City ranging from 28.30C - 300C with air humidity of 86% - 93%. Soil moisture ranges from 8-17 while the acidity (pH) of the soil ranges from 6.3 to 6.7. Conclusion, the mean of the Important Value Index (INP) in the Pole strata in the areas of study A, B, and C respectively is ketapang, starfruit, and coffee. Abstract

This study aims to determine the diversity index of the species of nympalidae family in the Cusi Hill area of ​​Musi Rawas. This research uses exploration and description methods using transect roaming techniques. The observation station was determined to be 3 stations with 5 transects systematically with a transect area of ​​100m x 100m. Catching using net net, identification by observing the morphological characteristics of the nympalidae family butterfly. Based on the study, 106 data obtained from dragonflies from 12 species of butterflies from 6 families of nympalidae, namely Junonia athletes, Ideopsis juventa, Junoni orithya, Cupha erymanthis, Micalesis mineus, Junonia almana, Melanitis leda, Danaus genutia, Ideopsis juventa, Junoni orithya, Cupha erymanthis, Micalesis mineus, Junonia almana, Melanitis leda, Danaus genutia, Euploea mulciber, Euploea eunhaa, Phupa columella, and Doleschallia bisaltide. The lowest species composition was Phaedyma columella, and Doleschallia bisaltide by 1.89%, while the highest was Junonia athletes by. 33.01%. Conclusion The diversity index of the butterfly species of nympalidae family in Bukit Cogong, Musi Rawas Regency is in the medium category with a value of 2.48. uniformity index at all stations in the high category, stable community and dominance index (C) in all stations in the low category. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of vegetation types in Bukit Cogong, Musi Rawas Regency based on composition, density of vegetation types. The population in this study were all plant species that exist in the Bukit Cogong vegetation of Musi Rawas Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the method used is the distance method (Point Centered Quarter), which measures the diameter of the type of vegetation of trees and shrubs closest to the sampling point. As for herbaceous vegetation using the distance method (point intercept), which is analyzing the type of herbaceous vegetation that is the fastest with the help of a point frequency frame tool. The procedure of this study refers to the area of ​​Bukit Cogong, Musi Rawas Regency, to determine the area of ​​the study area. The analysis used is density, frequency, dominance, important value index, and Shannon's diversity index and canopy stratification. The results obtained for tree level vegetation are 30 species, for bush vegetation found 16 species and for herbaceous vegetation found 17 species. The tree level diversity index in all study areas is in abundance. Conclusions, the bush level diversity index in the study areas A and B was moderate, while in the study area C the category was relatively abundant. Abstract

This study aims to determine the diversity of ground insects and develop a flipbook in Sumberharta Village, Musi Rawas Regency. The method used is VES (Visual Encounter Survey). The ecological index was analyzed using the Shannon Wiener formula. The data collection on the development of the ground surface insect flipbook in Sumberharta Village, Musi Rawas Regency, refers to the stages of development research according to Borg & Gall. The results showed that the diversity of soil surface insects in Sumberharta village had an H value index of 1.036 and a uniformity of 0.154. The results of the flipbook development carried out by three validators and the practicality test of Biology Education students of STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau through small group trials of 20 people showed that the flipbook developed obtained a score of 88.2%. In conclusion, the diversity of soil surface insects in Sumberharta village is low, with the index value in the small and depressed category. The flipbook developed is very feasible and practical. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui indeks keanekaragaman jenis kupu-kupu di Kawasan Bukit Cogong kabupaten Musi Rawas Propinsi Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripsi kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik menjelajah transek. Penangkapan menggunakan jaring net, pengidentifikasian dengan melakukan pengamatan ciri-ciri morfologi kupu-kupu. Berdasarkan penelitian, diperoleh data 127 Individu kupu-kupu dari 16 Spesies kupu-kupu dari 3 famili. Komposisi jenis yang paling rendah yaitu Lariso coon sebesar 0,78%, sedangkan yang paling tinggi yaitu Junonia atlites sebesar. 27,55%. Indeks keanekaragaman kupu-kupu di Bukit Cogong Kabupaten Musi Rawas berkategori sedang dengan nilai rerata sebesar 2,48. Indeks keseragaman pada seluruh stasiun berkategori tinggi, komunitas stabil dan indeks dominansi (C) pada seluruh stasiun berkategori rendah.
