Abstract

This study aims to develop a Discipline Control Book Based on Islamic Character Values for elementary school students and to describe the feasibility and practicality of the resulting product. The study was motivated by the fact that violations of school rules are still found even though the applicable rules already include indicators of discipline. The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis (analysis of needs, student characteristics, and indicators of discipline and Islamic character values), design (designing the book format, indicators, and monitoring rubrics), development (product development and expert validation), implementation (limited testing of the control book), and evaluation (product evaluation and revision). Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The developed product contains discipline indicators integrated with Islamic character values, such as trustworthiness, responsibility, consistency, obedience to rules, and manners, accompanied by a monitoring column involving teachers and parents to reinforce student discipline habits. The results of the development show that the control book produced was deemed feasible by the validators and practical for use in school activities, thus having the potential to become a supporting medium for fostering discipline among elementary school students based on Islamic character.

Abstract

Lahirnya Persatuan Islam (Persis) sebagai organisasi social keagamaan merupakan solusi permasalahan umat Islam di Indonesia yang terkerangkeng oleh kejumudan, khurafat, bid’ah, takhayul dan  kemusyrikan serta merosotnya akhlak umat manusia. Untuk itu, Persis melakukan perubahan berbagai hal melalui media dakwah dan lembaga pendidikan. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  peran Persis dalam bidang pendidikan khususnya dalam hal pengembangan Lembaga Pendidikan Islam Pesantren di Indonesia. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui penelusuran data kepustakaan (library research), menggunakan metode content analysis. Berdasarkan  kajian ditemukan bahwa garapan utama Persis pada sektor pendidikan dasar dan menengah  berhasil merealisasikan lembaga  pendidikan Islam Pesantren Persatuan Islam  230 pesantren di seluruh Indonesia, bahkan Persis juga berhasil mendirikan Lembaga Pendidikan Islam tingkat perguruan tinggi yaitu Universitas Pendidikan Islam. Persis juga menyelenggrakan  kursus-kursus dan kelompok-kelompok diskusi yang mengkaji masalah masalah keagamaan. Persis juga menerbitkan buku-buku dan majalah-majalah untuk menyebarluaskan ide dan pemikiran mengenai dakwah pembaruan dan Pendidikan Islam. Pada aspek kurikulum pendidikannya, Persis mengintegrasikan  pendidikan keislaman dan pengkajian Alquran dan Hadits  dengan pendidikan umum (mata pelajaran umum). Namun dalam penyelenggaraan Lembaga Pendidikan Islam tersebut, Persis perlu berbenah karena masih terdapat kelemahan dalam hal manajemen dan  minimnya sarana pendidikan, serta kualitas SDM yang belum memadai.Kata Kunci: Persis, Lembaga Pendidikan Islam, Pesantren

Abstract

Background. The emergence of the Society 5.0 era has catalyzed fundamental shifts within the educational landscape, specifically challenging Islamic Religious Education (IRE) to evolve. Purpose. This study aims to analyze the utilization of narrative-based interactive multimedia within the context of Islamic Religious Education. Specifically, the research investigates how this specific medium relates to student learning engagement and its overall effectiveness in addressing the pedagogical needs of the digital era. Method. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method to evaluate the implementation of these digital tools. Data were systematically collected through questionnaires distributed to students and subsequently analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques to determine the perceived benefits and levels of engagement. Results. The findings indicate that students perceive narrative-based interactive multimedia as highly beneficial for the learning process. The integration of technology is significantly associated with increased interest, motivation, and comprehension of IRE materials. Conclusion. This study concludes that narrative-based interactive multimedia is a relevant and appropriate learning medium for Generation Z. By fostering higher student engagement and providing more engaging narratives, these tools serve as a vital resource for modernizing Islamic Religious Education in the digital era.
