Abstract

This research aims to determine and explain the performance of Family Planning Instructors at the Sukabumi Regency Population Control and Family Planning Service to reduce the birth rate. Qualitative descriptive methods, such as interviews, observations, and documents, were used in this research. Then, the unit of analysis is the Family Planning Counselor at the Sukabumi Regency Population Control Service, who has responsibility for implementing the family planning program. Using snowball sampling techniques, researchers will use two types of informants, namely key informants and supporting informants. Data collection techniques in this research were carried out through observation, interviews, documentation, and audio and visual media. In validation, researchers examine the entire process, from data collection, analysis, and interpretation to conclusion. To validate research data, researchers will use triangulation techniques. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the quality of work of Family Planning Counselors in the last year was quite good and satisfactory. Punctuality, which prioritizes completing work on time with minimal errors, is implemented in implementing the Family Planning (K.B.) program in the field. Initiatives that emphasize independence, creativity, courage to take risks, and responsibility are implemented by family planning instructors. Communication, which includes the use of appropriate media, good communication skills, is critical factors in efforts to reduce birth rates through the family planning program in Sukabumi Regency.

Abstract

This research focuses on the quality of service provided by the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) of Sukabumi City Police. The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the services provided by the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) of Sukabumi City Police in handling public complaints. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The theory used in this research is Zeithaml et al (1988) with five dimensions namely (1) tangibles, (2) reliability, (3) responsiveness, (4) assurance, and (5) empathy. In this study, researchers used non-probability sampling and purposive sampling techniques to determine informants. The results of this study indicate that based on the five dimensions, the tangibles aspect shows quite good quality even though there are still weaknesses in terms of infrastructure such as service rooms and parking lots that are still limited. The reliability dimension is quite reliable, but there is still room to improve several things such as the delivery of clearer information regarding procedures, flow, and requirements for making reports. Meanwhile, the dimensions of responsiveness, assurance, and empathy show good results with improvements.

Abstract

In an effort to limit smoking activities among employees, the Office of Education and Culture (P&K) of Sukabumi City implements Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2014 concerning Smoke-Free Areas. This study aims to determine how the implementation of the Smoke-Free Area (KTR) policy is carried out in the Office of Education and Culture (P&K) of Sukabumi City and the obstacles faced by the Office in implementing the KTR policy. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method and employs the theory of Diana M. DiNitto with four dimensions: communication, resources, bureaucracy, and attitudes. Data for this study were obtained from interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Smoke-Free Area (KTR) policy in the Office of Education and Culture (P&K) of Sukabumi City is still not optimal due to inadequate resources, unstructured bureaucracy, and attitudes that show some employees still smoke inside the office. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the Smoke-Free Area policy cannot proceed effectively due to several inhibiting aspects, namely communication, resources, bureaucracy, and attitudes. The recommendations provided include the need for more intensive and continuous socialization and education regarding the KTR policy, the enforcement of strict laws with clear sanctions for violators, the provision of supporting facilities such as separate smoking areas, and effective supervision by forming a special monitoring team responsible for ensuring compliance with the KTR policy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the implementation of movable asset management in asset administration on asset user discipline at the Office of Population Control, Family Planning, Women Empowerment, and Child Protection in Sukabumi City. The research background highlights the administrative irregularities in regional asset utilization that hinder accountability and public service efficiency. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, using a saturated sampling technique involving 100 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation, interviews, and literature studies. Simple linear regression analysis results indicate a positive and significant influence of movable asset management on user discipline, with a determination coefficient of 68.4%. This suggests that improved asset management through inventory, legal audits, valuation, utilization, and monitoring correlates with higher employee discipline in accountable and orderly asset use. The findings reinforce the importance of systematic asset governance in fostering a culture of discipline within local government institutions.

Abstract

Children are a nation’s strategic asset and have the right to grow and develop in a safe, healthy, and supportive environment. The Indonesian government has issued various regulations, such as Law Number 35 of 2014 on Child Protection and Presidential Regulation Number 25 of 2021 concerning the Child-Friendly City/Regency (KLA) Policy, to ensure the protection and fulfillment of children's rights. Sukabumi City is one of the regions implementing this policy and has achieved the "Madya" (Intermediate) level of KLA recognition. However, the implementation of KLA in Sukabumi still faces numerous challenges, particularly in the cluster of special protection, such as the high number of child abuse cases, limited rehabilitation services, weak inter-agency communication, and low levels of public policy dissemination. This study aims to analyze how functional coordination among government agencies is carried out in efforts to realize a Child-Friendly City in Sukabumi. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis. The study uses Chandra Bose's coordination theory, which includes six key indicators: clearly defined goals, clear lines of authority and responsibility, comprehensive programs and policies, cooperation, effective communication, and effective leadership and supervision. The findings reveal that coordination has been formalized through the establishment of a KLA Task Force, yet its implementation remains suboptimal due to structural and technical constraints. The study concludes that strengthening functional coordination is essential to enhance the success and sustainability of KLA implementation in Sukabumi City.

Abstract

Introduction: Adolescence is a critical developmental stage marked by significant emotional, cognitive, and social changes, during which individuals begin to form their identity and long-term psychological patterns. Objective: This study investigates the effectiveness of bibliotherapy as a psychological intervention to enhance subjective well-being (SWB) in adolescents living in dayahs in Aceh Besar. Methods: This quasi-experimental study employed a one-group pre-test and post-test design involving 61 adolescent students with low levels of subjective well-being (SWB). Data were collected using validated Indonesian versions of the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) and the Scale of Positive and Negative Experiences (SPANE), and analyzed using paired-sample t-tests. Results and Discussion: The results revealed statistically significant improvements in overall subjective well-being (SWB) (p = 0.001), life satisfaction (p = 0.001), positive affect (p < 0.001), and a reduction in negative affect (p = 0.001). These findings demonstrate that bibliotherapy is a practical, low-cost, flexible intervention that can be implemented by nurses, educators, or librarians within school or community settings. Conclusion: It offers a practical approach to promoting emotional balance and enhancing life satisfaction among adolescents, particularly those in resource-limited boarding school environments. This study highlights the importance of integrating bibliotherapy into adolescent health programs, particularly in religious educational settings, to enhance psychological well-being and promote resilient youth.

Abstract

Program pelatihan berbasis kompetensi di Kabupaten Sukabumi dibawah naungan Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Sukabumi dan pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan di Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) Kabupaten Sukabumi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi kebijakan program pelatihan berbasis kompetensi. pada Implementasi Kebijakan Program Pelatihan Berbasis Kompetensi masih terdapat hambatan yaitu: masyarakat sebagai target dari kebijakan masih belum mengetahui tentang pelatihan, sehingga pada tahun 2017-2019 tidakadanya peserta pelatihan pada beberapa jurusan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif desktiptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan seperti observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, informan terdiri dari 3 orang dengan menggunakan teknik puposive sampling. Acuan teori adalah teori yang dikemukakan Edward III. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam pelaksanan kebijakan pelatihan belum berjalan secara optimal, karena terdapat masyarakat sebagai sasaran dari kebijakan masih ada yang belum mengetahui tentang pelatihan. Terbatasnya anggaran untuk kegiatan sosialisasi adalah penyebab dari hambatan ini. maka dari itu hal ini perlu ditingkatkan agar masyarakat Kabupaten Sukabumi mendapatkan pengetahuan tentang pelatihan dan dapat merasakan pelatihan secara merata, sehingga sumberdaya manusia di Kabupaten Sukabumi memiliki keahlian kerja.Kata Kunci: Implementasi kebijakan, program pelatihan kerja

Abstract

Dalam setiap organisasi pemerintah maupun swasta akan selalu berhubungan dengan arsip yang merupakan suatu hal sangat penting, arsip akan selalu berhubungan dengan seluruh proses pekerjaan. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi yang terus berkembang menjadi salah satu cara yang dapat membantu atau memudahkan pegawai dalam pengelolaan kearsipan agar dapat menciptakan efisiensi kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengelolaan kearsipan terhadap efisiensi kerja pegawai di Dinas Kependudukan Dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Sukabumi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, membagikan angket atau kuesioner kepada responden, dan dokumentasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling artinya peneliti menentukan kriteria ketika angket dibagikan ke 34 responden pegawai yang dijadikan sampel penelitian. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) 21 untuk mengetahui validitas data, reliabilitas, koefisien kolerasi serta besarnya pengaruh antara pengelolaan kearsipan dan efisiensi kerja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara pengelolaan kearsipan terhadap efisiensi kerja, hubungan sebesar 0,787 yang mana terbilang kategori tingkat hubungan kuat. Sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa hubungan antara variabel pengelolaan kearsipan dan efisiensi kerja kuat. Besarrnya pengaruh yaitu 81,9% dan sisanya 18,1% di pengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak termasuk dalam ini.Kata Kunci: Pengelolaan Kearsipan, Efisiensi Kerja

Abstract

Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan Daerah (BPKD) Kota Sukabumi merupakan sebuah instansi pemerintahan yang berdasarkan Peraturan Daerah Kota Sukabumi Nomor 48 Tahun 2016 tugas pokok BPKD Kota Sukabumi adalah melaksanakan urusan Pemerintah Daerah di bidang pengelolaan keuangan daerah berdasarkan asas otonomi dan tugas pembantuan. Namun demikian, terdapat beberapa fenomena permasalahan yang terjadi saat ini, kaitannya dengan disiplin kerja dan kinerja pegawai di BPKD Kota Sukabumi. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada BPKD Kota Sukabumi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dan asosiatif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu pegawai BPKD Kota Sukabumi. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian kali ini menggunakan sampel jenuh (sensus) yang merupakan bagian dari teknik non probability sampling. Maka dari itu responden yang dijadikan sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 90 orang pegawai. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner/angkat. Teknik analisis data yang akan peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Uji Validitas Data, Uji Reliabilitas, Koefisien Korelasi, Koefisien Determinasi, Regresi Linier Sederhana, dan Uji Hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara disiplin kerja dengan kinerja pegawai pada BPKD Kota Sukabumi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kepemilikan akta kelahiran di wilayah kerja UPT Disdukcapil Wilayah VII Cileungsi, yang hanya mencapai 42,98% dari total populasi, meskipun akta kelahiran merupakan dokumen penting bagi pemenuhan hak sipil masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai efektivitas pelayanan administrasi kependudukan dalam penerbitan akta kelahiran serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penghambatnya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif, melibatkan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen yang dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan dinilai cukup efektif berdasarkan indikator produktivitas, kualitas, fleksibilitas, dan kepuasan, sementara efisiensi masih terkendala oleh keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi dan gangguan jaringan. Faktor penghambat lainnya mencakup keterbatasan anggaran, minimnya literasi administrasi masyarakat, dan hambatan teknis. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan modernisasi sarana pelayanan, penguatan kompetensi sumber daya manusia, serta intensifikasi sosialisasi kepada masyarakat guna meningkatkan literasi administrasi. Implementasi rekomendasi tersebut diharapkan dapat menciptakan pelayanan yang adaptif, efisien, dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan publik.
