Abstract

This research aims to develop a causalytic model learning integrated of character values assisted by Go-Lab platform to improve students' problem solving and creative thinking abilities. This development research procedure refers to the steps in developing a 4D model which consists of four main stages, namely defining, designing, developing and disseminating. The practicality test is carried out after the definition and design stages are completed. The practicality test instrument consists of an observation sheet on learning implementation as well as a teacher and student response questionnaire. The observers involved in filling out the observation sheet for learning implementation were 1 teacher of science and 20 students in class VIII-C at State Junior High School (SMPN) 3 Labuapi. Meanwhile, the observers involved in filling out the response questionnaire were 3 teachers of science and 20 students in class VIII-C at SMPN 3 Labuapi. Learning tools are said to be practical if the observers' assessments state that the learning tools can be applied. The results of the analysis of observations of learning implementation by teachers and students obtained an average percentage of 97.08% and 96.88% in very practical category. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis of teacher and student responses obtained an average percentage of 90.00% and 98.00% in very practical category. This shows that the learning tools developed are easy to use, easy to interpret, and provide benefits for teachers and students.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of science learning devices with causalitic model integrated character values and local wisdom to improve students' Problem-Solving Ability (PSA). The study used a mixed method as a modify of the explanatory design and statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon t-test. The analysis results show that the implementation of devices is significantly effective in developing the PSA of students of Public Junior High School (JHS) 3 Labuapi, West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. The device developed has been proven to have the exact alignment for all learners when developing the PSA. The developed PSA includes six indicators, namely understanding (IPSA-1), selecting (IPSA-2), differentiating (IPSA-3), determining (IPSA-4), applying (IPSA-5), and identifying (IPSA-6). Statistical analysis was also performed on the difference in the final achievement of each indicator of PSA of the students of High-Group (Hi-group) and Low-Group (Lo-group) for each indicator of PSA (IPSA). The results show that the finals of IPSA-1 up to IPSA-4 have no difference for either Group, but for IPSA-5 and IPSA-6, there are significant differences. The average final PSA scores of the Hi-Group in the two indicators, respectively 77 and 75, are higher than those of the Lo-Group, 56 and 52.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of educational games based on local wisdom in science learning to strengthen students' character. The method used​ is to review the literature. Method review literature identifies, examines, evaluates, and interprets all existing research​ on an interesting phenomenon, with​ questions that study certain relevant ones. The number of articles analyzed in this research was nine articles. Implementation of educational media in learning in the form of teaching models and modules, games and traditional food. Based on the results of the analysis, several forms of local wisdom were obtained, which were integrated into educational media, such as the rumpe ritual, traditional Minangkabau food: Ampiang Dadiah, the traditional ball boy game, local wisdom Trikaya Prisudha, local wisdom of the coastal area Puger, traditional games of tug of war, making Madurese shrimp paste, and local wisdom of Manongkah shellfish. The character values that can be instilled by implementing educational media based on local wisdom in learning are twenty-four character values. The character values most often instilled in implementing.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in shaping high-quality human resources. The implementation of an independent curriculum requires teachers to foster critical thinking, exploration, and problem-solving skills in students. This study aims to develop a science module based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) with an ecotourism perspective in Tahura Nuraksa NTB using the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The developed module enables direct observation of natural phenomena, promotes systematic and analytical thinking, and employs concise, clear language supported by relevant images. The findings indicate that this module enhances student engagement and conceptual understanding, making it an effective learning resource in science education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze developmental research on science learning based on local wisdom in Sumatra Island. The method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), allowing for a structured and comprehensive review of relevant articles by following pre-established steps. A total of 10 articles met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and were included in the final analysis. The findings reveal that science learning can be effectively integrated with local wisdom values, as science is closely related to the surrounding environment. Forms of local wisdom in Sumatra identified in the articles include the Musi River, regional flora and fauna, clay brick-making, local fermented food "dadiah," "Pempek" ethnoscience, tourist attractions such as Bukit Sulap Nature Park, Water Vang Dam Park, Temam Waterfall Nature Park, and various local natural disasters. The instructional design models employed include ADDIE, Four-D, Borg & Gall, and Plomp. The majority of research outcomes focus on the development of media and instructional materials based on technology.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah mengkaji, mengidentifikasi, dan mengelompokkan berbagai nilai karakter positif anak, serta kearifan lokal Lombok. Target khusus adalah bahwa akhir pengabdian ini ditargetkan telah disosialisasilan nilai-nilai karakter positif dan kearifan lokal Lombok untuk prevensi potensi terjadinya kenakalan anak, perundungan, serta penanaman literasi pelestarian lingkungan sekitar sekolah dan sekitar tempat tinggal bagi Siswa SMPN 1 Gerung, Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Metode pencapaian target adalah pada awal pengabdian, dilakukan peninjauan dokumen karakter positif, kearifan lokal, dan berbagai potensi kenakalan anak dan upaya pelestarian lingkungan. Selanjutnya, dilakukan identifikasi rekomendasi-rekomendasi penanaman nilai karakter dan kearifan lokal esensial. Tahap akhir dari pengabdian ini, tertanam berbagai nilai karakter positif dan kearifan lokal, serta kesadaran larangan kegiatan-kegiatan negatif, seperti perkelahian, perundungan, dan pengrusakan lingkungan alam sekitar.

Abstract

Stunting is a serious health issue that remains a significant challenge in Indonesia, including in Aikmel Utara Village, East Lombok Regency. This problem is caused by chronic malnutrition, repeated infections, and improper parenting, which negatively affect children's physical and cognitive development. The stunting socialization program carried out by KKN PMD Universitas Mataram aims to raise community awareness about the importance of balanced nutrition and healthy lifestyles to prevent stunting. Survey results show that 90% of stunting cases in Aikmel Utara Village are caused by inadequate dietary and parenting practices, despite the parents' sufficient financial conditions. In this socialization event, speakers from Universitas Mataram and STIKES Graha Edukasi Makassar explained the importance of sensitive interventions from parents and provided recommendations to strengthen the role of posyandu cadres and educate the community. In addition to the socialization, KKN students also distributed Supplementary Feeding Packages (PMT) to mothers of stunted children to help improve family nutrition. It is hoped that through a community-based approach and community empowerment, the stunting issue in Aikmel Utara Village can be effectively and sustainably addressed. Abstract

Regularly checking hemoglobin (HB) levels in pregnant women is very important to prevent the risk of anemia which can have an impact on the health of the mother and fetus. Hemoglobin (HB) is a protein found in red blood cells which functions to transport oxygen from the lungs to all body tissues and helps transport carbon dioxide back to the lungs. The main work program of the Real Work Lecture (KKN) group in the form of Free HB Checks for Pregnant Women aims to increase understanding of the importance of routine health checks, especially regarding hemoglobin levels and preventing anemia. This activity was carried out on January 16 2025 in the North Aikmel Village Office Hall with a total of 20 participants, involving 15 pregnant women and representatives from the village forum, PKK and KPM.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan menganalisis kecenderungan pemahaman konsep gaya gesek secara matematis bagi mahasiswa pendidikan fisika semester I. Akhir pengabdian ini ditargetkan telah diketahui kecenderungan pemahaman  mengenai konsep gaya gesek secara matematis serta diarahkan menuju konsep yang benar kepada mahasiswa pendidikan fisika semester I, Universitas Mataram sebagai salah satu upaya pencapaian pemahaman konsep fisika yang utuh dan memadai. Metode: Pada awal pengabdian, dilakukan analisis kecenderungan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang konsep gaya gesek secara matematis. Selanjutnya, dilakukan identifikasi kesesuaian konsep berdasarkan ilmu fisika. Tahap akhir dari pengabdian ini, mahasiswa memiliki pemahaman konsep yang benar tentang gaya gesek dengan pendekatan konseptual. Hasil temuan yang diperoleh yaitu dapat diketahui bahwa mahasiswa cenderung terjebak pada perhitungan matematis dan kurang terbiasa untuk menganalisis fenomena atau kasus dalam fisika dengan pendekatan konseptual.

Akhir pengabdian ini ditargetkan telah diberikan pemahaman konsep yang benar mengenai gaya gesek terhadap benda yang diam di atas bidang kasar kepada mahasiswa pendidikan fisika semester I, Universitas Mataram sebagai salah satu upaya pencapaian pemahaman konsep fisika yang memadai. Metode: Pada awal pengabdian, dilakukan peninjauan pemahaman awal mahasiswa tentang konsep gaya gesek terhadap benda yang diam di atas bidang kasar. Selanjutnya, dilakukan identifikasi kesesuaian konsep berdasarkan ilmu fisika.
