Abstract

This community service aims to integrate the values of customary law into modern legal outreach within local communities. The primary objective of this activity is to enhance the understanding of customary communities regarding national law and to demonstrate the relevance of customary law within the national legal framework. The legal outreach was conducted with an approach sensitive to local culture, involving customary leaders, legal counselors, and community members in interactive sessions. The results of this service show significant improvement in the community's understanding of national law and their rights within the context of both customary and modern law. Before the outreach, the community's understanding of national law was only 45%, but after the outreach, it increased to 85%. Similarly, understanding of customary law and women's rights showed a significant increase. This program also encouraged active community participation in legal processes, both in resolving customary land disputes and in utilizing national legal mechanisms. However, challenges remain, including ignorance of more complex legal procedures and the need for policies that better support the integration of customary law into the national legal system. Moving forward, further collaboration between customary communities, legal counselors, and the government is expected to strengthen the implementation of fair and inclusive law.

Abstract

The digital transformation of manufacturing companies has gained momentum, particularly through the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. ERP systems are integrated software platforms that streamline core business functions, including finance, human resources, procurement, and production. These systems significantly improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance decision-making capabilities within manufacturing firms. The centralization of data and automation of routine tasks eliminate data silos and manual errors, leading to better coordination, real-time insights, and optimized resource allocation. However, ERP adoption comes with challenges, such as resistance to change, the complexity of system integration, and customization costs. Despite these hurdles, the long-term benefits, such as cost savings, improved collaboration, and enhanced customer relationship management, outweigh the initial investments. As ERP systems evolve with emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), they offer even more advanced capabilities in predictive maintenance, real-time monitoring, and automated decision-making. This paper concludes that ERP systems are crucial for the digital transformation of manufacturing companies, helping them become more agile, cost-efficient, and competitive in an increasingly digital world.

Abstract

Hydroponic cultivation of lettuce (Lactuca sativa) offers high water efficiency, yet productivity is frequently compromised by rapid disease spread and nutrient imbalances. Traditional manual monitoring is labor-intensive, time-consuming, and prone to subjective diagnostic errors, often leading to delayed interventions. This study aims to develop an automated, real-time disease detection system by integrating Deep Learning algorithms with an Internet of Things (IoT) architecture. The proposed method utilizes an optimized One-Stage Object Detector based on the YOLO framework, specifically designed for efficient deployment on edge computing devices. The model was trained and validated on a diverse dataset encompassing healthy plants, tip-burn, leaf spot, and nutrient deficiencies, employing rigorous data augmentation to ensure robustness against indoor lighting variability. Experimental results demonstrate that the system achieves a Mean Average Precision (mAP@0.5) of 94.8%, significantly outperforming conventional Support Vector Machine (SVM) approaches and standard detectors. The model maintains high detection accuracy even under complex background conditions. In conclusion, this research provides a viable, low-latency solution for precision agriculture, enabling growers to automate plant health monitoring and effectively minimize crop losses.

Abstract

Hydroponic cultivation requires precise monitoring to ensure crop quality and productivity, yet manual identification of vegetable varieties and their growth status remains labor-intensive and prone to error. This study aims to develop a real-time, mobile-based classification system for hydroponic vegetables using lightweight Deep Learning models optimized for edge computing. The proposed method evaluates two distinct architectures, MobileNetV3 and YOLO-Nano, trained via transfer learning on a dataset comprising major hydroponic crops such as Lettuce, Pak Choy, Mustard Greens, and Cherry Tomatoes. Experimental results demonstrate that while YOLO-Nano offers superior inference speed (~55 FPS), MobileNetV3 achieves a significantly higher classification accuracy of 96.4% while maintaining a real-time performance of ~35 FPS on standard mobile hardware. The study concludes that MobileNetV3 provides the optimal balance between accuracy and computational efficiency for handheld agricultural applications. This research contributes a scalable, low-cost solution for smart farming, enabling producers to perform rapid, on-site digital inventory and quality assessment without reliance on internet connectivity.

Abstract

The management of facilities and infrastructure at Singosari Private Elementary School currently faces various challenges due to the manual nature of the process. This manual system causes several problems, including difficulties in accurately tracking the condition of assets, slow data retrieval, and the risk of data loss or corruption. To address these issues, this study aims to design and develop a computerized, web-based facility and infrastructure management information system. The system’s development employs the Waterfall method, which includes the following stages: requirements analysis, system design, code implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is designed to be easily accessible via a web browser, making it convenient for users to manage data from anywhere within the school environment. The result of this research is a functional, web-based information system application that can be implemented to manage facilities and infrastructure at Singosari Private Elementary School.

Abstract

On-time graduation is an important indicator of academic quality in higher education. However, the Faculty of Technology at Battuta University still faces the challenge of low on-time graduation rates among students. This study designed a graduation prediction system based on the C4.5 Decision Tree Algorithm by utilizing the academic data of students from the 2022–2024 batch, including GPA, IPS, failed courses, academic leave, status, and attendance. The method used is a quantitative approach with data mining classification techniques, and the system is implemented web-based using PHP and MySQL. The results show that the C4.5 algorithm is capable of accurately predicting student graduation potential and producing classification rules that are easy to understand. This system can help academic advisors and study programs detect students at risk of graduating late at an early stage so that appropriate follow-up actions can be taken.
