Abstract

Cacao fat has long chain fatty acids was high mainly palmitic and stearic can be improved their character by adding of palm oil to obtain cocoa fat was low calories. The addition of coconut oil can be done only up to 20%, which is the ratio (90:10) and (80:20) cocoa fat and coconut oil with solid fat content of 5:53 and 4:58 with a melting point 33.6 ° C and 32.8oC (32oC-35oC melting point cacao fat). The process was be done by interesterification reaction produces cocoa fat that free of trans fatty acids .Keywords: long chain fatty acaid, low calory, solid fat content, melting point

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant difference between the learning outcomes of mathematics using the model Make a Match learning and Pair Checks learning model on the integer material in class VII MTs IB Silaping. This type of research is a comparative study with experimental methods. The population in this study were students of class VII MTs IB Silaping totaling 92 students. The sample of this research is class VII2 b as the experimental class 1 and class VII1 a as the experimental class 2 with the same number of 16 students. The samples were determined by non-probability sampling. The data collection instrument is a test. The data analysis technique used is the normality test, homogeneity test, and to test the hypothesis with the t-test. The results of this study indicate that: (1) mathematics learning outcomes using the Make a Match learning model with an average value of 86,88; (2) mathematics learning outcomes using the Pair Checks learning model with an average value of 80,56. So it can be concluded that (3) there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of mathematics using the Make a Match learning model and the Pair Checks learning model on the integer material in class VII MTs IB Silaping. This is in accordance with the calculation of the t-test which is obtained at the significant level is 0,05 and dk = 30 with tcount = 2,433 and ttable = 2,042 this indicates that tcount > ttable.

Abstract

Curriculum 2013 for SD / MI Basic Competence organization is done through an integrated approach .  Integration approach  aimed at shaping the character of the character super grateful for all that has been bestowed by Allah to develop their potential to be better . Learning science in SDIT Bunayya a thematic learning , which integrates several subjects are interconnected . With reference to the national education curriculum and the curriculum SDIT itself . Internalization of values Tauhid in science subjects can be seen in the ongoing learning process , where a teacher with a thematic system integrates the values of Tauhid in any material submitted .

Abstract

This research is based on the problems on low economy of the societies that make the children help their parents to have working to fulfill their needs. Meanwhile, children still need to play and to study, it is not their responsible to join to handle the needs of their economy. The purposes of this research are to know the condition of education of the children workers in TPA Batu Bola Padangsidimpuan. Beside, the researcher also wanted to know the factors caused them doing work in that place, and the parents and government effort to protect the children. The research is qualitative descriptive. The informant are children workers (pick workers/pemulung), their parents, as the primer source and other pick workers, and the district government (lurah) as the secondary source. The instruments used are questionnaires, interview, observation, adn documentation. Based on the research, it is found that the children are 12 persons from Junior High School (40%), 9 persons from Junior High School (30%), 2 persons from Senior High School (6.67%), and out of school 7 persons (23.33%). The main factors that make them work is because of the pressure of the economic needs. The reasons are asked by their parents (80%), their wants (13.33%), and asked by their friends (6.67%).  The parents effort by giving advises to their children, and the government didnot have hard regulation and solution in order to make them always in that condition.

Abstract

AbstractStudents' thinking ability is still low, there is a lack of strategies, approaches or models used to improve high old thinking skills (HOTS), one of which can be used is the project base learning approach. This study aims to determine the use of the base learning project approach. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental model, with an experimental class and a control class. The results showed the average control class was 65 and the experimental class was 80, and from the T test = -24,504 with a significance of 0.001 0.005. These results indicate that the hypothesis is accepted.Keywords: creative thinking; problem base learning; HOTS. AbstrakKemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa masih rendah kuragnya strategi, pendekatanb atau model yang digunkan untuk meningkatan kemampuan berfikir hight older thinking skill (HOTS), salah satu yang daapt digunakan adalah pendekatan project base learning Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pendekatan projek base learning.  Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan model quasi eksperimen, dengan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata kelas kontrol 65 dan kelas eksperimen 80, dan dari uji T test =  -24.504 dengan signifikan 0.001 0.005.  Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa hiptesis diterima.Kata kunci: berfikir kreatif;  problem base learning; HOTS.

Abstract

The general aim of implementing the educational unit level curriculum is to make educational units independent and empowered by granting authority to educational institutions and encouraging schools to make participatory decisions in developing the curriculum. Most elementary school teachers often fail to complete the material satisfactorily. After carrying out initial learning at the author's place of teaching at SD Negeri I Padangsidimpuan City class V, they experienced failure in completing with the following results: There were 14 students who got a score of less than 75 or 66.7% with a KKM of 75. Those who got a score of 75 or more there were 7 students or 33.3% with a KKM of 75. In this lesson the researcher carried out activities in accordance with the lesson implementation plan. At first the students looked active and enthusiastic, but when asked to do practice questions they were still confused about how to do it. After researchers analyzed the results of student work (formative tests) in initial learning, it was found that students did not understand the material. Of the 21 students who got a score above the KKM (75), only 7 students or 33.33%. With an average score of 60.0

Abstract

Teachers almost never carry out learning that is oriented towards higher order thinking skills (HOTS). The author also rarely uses learning media. As a result, the learning atmosphere in the classroom is stiff and the children don't look cheerful. .based on the results of interviews with several students, information was obtained that (a) students were lazy to attend lessons that were mostly carried out by the teacher by means of lectures (b) apart from lectures, the method that was always used by the teacher was assignments or homework (PR). Some students claim to be bored with tasks that are only theoretical. To face the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, students must be equipped with higher-order thinking skills. One of the HOTS-oriented learning models and suggested in the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum is the Discovery Learning learning model. Discovery learning is a learning process that occurs when students are not presented with information directly but students are required to organize their understanding of that information independently. After carrying out the mathematics learning model of Discovery Learning, the authors found that the learning processes and results of students increased. Better than previous studies. When the Discovery Learning model was applied to other VIII graders, it turned out that the students' learning processes and outcomes were just as good. Discovery Learning learning practices that work well, the authors conclude as a HOTS-oriented learning best practice with the Discovery Learning model.

Abstract

This research analyses the flipped classroom learning model on students' mental model on salt hydrolysis material. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Ulu Barumun, Padang Lawas Regency. The research subjects were 11th-grade science students, totalling 20 students. The study used a two-tier test instrument, student observation, and in-depth interviews. The results showed that most students achieved the scientific mental model (38.33%), which reflects deep understanding and the ability to connect concepts with phenomena scientifically. In addition, 31.52% of students were at the synthesis mental model, where they began to understand the concept, but there were still misconceptions. Meanwhile, 30.13% of students were in the initial mental model, with limited and inaccurate understanding. Factors such as teacher explanation, learning experience, and learning resources used play an important role in achieving the scientific mental model. Overall, flipped classrooms are proven to be an effective learning strategy and are worth applying to improve the quality of learning and form students' mental models on salt hydrolysis material.

Abstract

Kebutuhan cabai dalam rumah tangga sangat penting, karena dapat memberikan cita rasa pada makanan, sehinga jika tidak tersedia akan terasa kekurangan masakan tersebut. Ketersediaan cabai dari petani harus terus dipertahankan, baik dari jumlah dan harga, tetapi gagal panen ataupun menurunnya jumlah panen sebagai akibat serangan hama dan penyakit menimbulkan gejolak dipasar cabai, harga bisa tiba-tiba melambung tinggi. Penanganan OPT (organisme pengganggu tanaman) harus diatasi mulai dari persemaian sampai panen, karena serangan OPT tidak mengenal usia tanaman. Pestisida buatan/kimia sangat efektif digunakan dalam mengendalikan OPT ini, tetapi dapat memberikan efek negative, berupa tertinggalnya pestisida dalam cabai, dan juga menyebabkan resistensi pada seraangga dan mikroorganisme serta merusak lingkungan. Penggunaan pestisida hayati seperti daun papaya, daun nimba, srikaya, bawang putih, daun sirsak dan tembakau juga cukup efektif untuk mengendalikan OPT. Tetapi kelemahannya adalah reaksi lambat, membutuhkan waktu untuk membuatkan karena tidak tahan lama dalam mpenyimpanan dan juga perlu aplikasi yang rutin. Pestisida hayati tidak merusak lingkungan, sehingga pertanian dengan pola ini dapat melindungi lingkungan dari kerusakan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran empiris validitas dan praktikalitas pengembangan instrumen asesmen Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) berbasis kompetensi pengetahuan pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam di kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Tapanuli Tengah. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan Research and Development (R&D). Sedangkan metode yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek pada penelitian pengembangan ini yaitu siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Tapanuli Tengah yang berjumlah 26 peserta didik. Teknik pengumulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu berupa angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kualitas kevalidan instrumen asesmen berbasis HOTS kompetensi pengetahuan pada mata pelajaran Sejarah kebudyaan Islam di kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Tapanuli Tengah memperoleh hasil dengan kriteria sangat valid, penilaian kualitas menunjukkan bahwa instrumen asesmen berbasis HOTS kompetensi pengetahuan pada mata pelajaran Sejarah kebudyaan Islam di kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Tapanuli Tengah memiliki validitas yang sangat valid. Praktikalisasi instrumen asesmen berbasis HOTS kompetensi pengetahuan pada mata pelajaran Sejarah kebudyaan Islam di kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Tapanuli Tengah dilihat dari presentasi rata-rata respon peserta didik sebesar 83% dan guru Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam yaitu sebesar 87,5% dengan kategori sangat valid. Artinya, instrumen asesmen berbasis HOTS kompetensi pengetahuan yang dikembangkan praktis untuk digunakan dalam mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam di kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Tapanuli Tengah.
