Abstract

Lucky are the parents who send their children  to  Islamic  boarding  schools. Especially in this digital era, supervision of children needs to be enhanced. Learning in boarding schools is not only about religious knowledge but also other subjects, including Mathematics. However, many students claim that Mathematics is difficult. Various phenomena occur, such as students sleeping or skipping classes during Mathematics lessons, teachers who lack engaging lesson designs, and rigid and tense teaching methods that make Mathematics a frightening subject. As teachers, we should be able to create a fun and enjoyable learning atmosphere, so that students become addicted to learning Mathematics. The purpose of this research is to find out the fun and enjoyable ways to learn Mathematics in Islamic boarding schools. The analysis is based on literature review. Data collection techniques involve gathering various information from literature sources. Additionally, it is structured and organized systematically for better understanding. The results obtained in this research are various enjoyable ways to learn Mathematics in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Latar belakang masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajara IPA disebabkan kurangnya penggunanan model pembelajara yang bervariasi sehingga siswa belum sepenuhnya dapat memahami pembelajaran. Dalam hal ini perlu dilakukan penggunaan model Kooperatif Tipe Picture and Picture, supaya hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat.Penelitian ini bertujuan apakah dengan digunakanya model pembelajara Kooperatif Tipe Picture and Picture dapat meingkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V MIN 1 Tapanuli Utara. Dan mengetahui bagaimana respon peserta didik terhadap model Kooperatif Tipe Picture and Picture dalam mata pelajaran IPA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), penelitian yang bersifat reflektif dengan menggunakan tindakan-tindakan untuk memperbaiki atau meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V MIN 1 Tapanuli Utara dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 22 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan observasi aktivitas siswa, serta dokumentasi selama proses pembelajaran. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisi secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelotian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Picture and Picture dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa secara signifika. Pada kondisi awa (pra tindakan), nilai rata-rata kelas masih dibawah kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) dan hanya sebagian kecil siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan. Setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I, terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar meskipun belum mencapai ketuntasan secara keseluruhan. Pada siklus II setelah dilakukan perbaikan berdasarkan refleksi siklus I, peningkatan hasil belajar semakin terlihat, baik dari segi nilai rata-rata kelas maupun jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM. Selain itu observasi aktivitas siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi, kerja sama dan antusias siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan adalah dengan mencari ratarata kelas (mean) dan teknik persentase. hasil belajar siswa pada nilai rata-rata siswa pada pra siklus adalah 49,1 dengan persentase ketuntasan 18%, kemudian pada siklus 1 pertemuan 1 pada soal postest juga meningkat dengan rata-rata 60,5, dan persentase ketuntasannya 22%. Selanjutnya pada siklus 1 pertemuan 2 soal postest juga mengalami peningkatan nilai rata rata 69,1, dengan nilai persentase ketuntasan 40%. Selanjutnya siklus 2 pertemuan 1 soal postest juga mengalami peningkatan nilai rata-rata 79,1 dengan nilai persentase ketuntasan 72%. Pada siklus 2 pertemuan 2 soal postest nilai rata-rata sama dengan pertemuan 2 prestest yaitu 88,6 dengan persentase ketuntasan 90%. Abstract

The team from the Tadris Mathematics Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan organized community service in the form of training on the use of wordwall applications. This training aims to create interactive learning media. This activity was held at a school that had collaborated with the organizers. This service was held with the aim of providing guidance on the use of the Wordwall application in compiling interactive learning media. This is expected to be a solution to create interesting learning by combining theory and practice.In this activity, participants were given theoretical information about Wordwall through slide presentations from presenters, which were then followed by direct practice by the participants. The result of this training is an increase in teachers' understanding of the latest innovations in the use of interactive learning media. After the training, teachers can apply Wordwall to create teaching materials, learning media, and evaluation tools with their own creativity. Previously, the majority of teachers were not familiar with the theory and practice of using Wordwall, but after training, almost all teachers who participated in this activity were able to understand the theory and apply Wordwall in their learning. The positive impact of this service activity is that teachers can design various educational games with wordwalls according to the material taught, the establishment of cooperation between the service team and the SD Negeri 200118 Padangsidimpuan.
