Abstract

The problem in the research is that the work given exceeds the provisions of written regulations, company leaders do not pay enough attention to their employees or do not provide enough motivation to their employees, performance fluctuates from year to year because employees are less careful in their work. The aim of this research is to determine the workload and motivation of employee performance at PT. Mandiri Abadi Permai. The type of this research is quantitative. The population in this research is employees of PT. Mandiri Abadi Permai, totaling 140 respondents. Determining the number of samples using the Slovin formula was 58 respondents, while the sampling technique was carried out randomly. The data sources in this research are primary and secondary data. Then the data collection methods in this research are observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Multiple linear regression test results Y=8.137+0.5221+0.532X2+e. The results of the test (t) or partial test show that workload has a positive and significant effect on employee performance which can be seen from tcount 6.477>ttable 2.004 and the Motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance where it can be seen tcount 11.166>ttable value 2.004. Then simultaneously (F test), the F value is 83.947> F table 3.16. So that workload and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Mandiri Abadi Permai. The results of the coefficient of determination for the Adjusted R square value are 0.744 (74.4%). So it can be said that 74.4% of the variation in the independent variables in workload and motivation contributes to employee performance variables at PT. Madiri Abadi Permai, while the remaining 25.6% is influenced by other variables outside the model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job rotation, career development and motivation on employee performance at PT. Kemuning Group Medan Branch II. The population in this study are employees at PT. Kemuning Group Branch Medan II, amounting to 56 people, while the determination technique using the saturated sampling method. The data sources in this study are primary and secondary data. And the data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis and multiple linear regression. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis are: Y = 21,162 + 0,496X1 + -0,146X2 + 0,543X3+e. The results of the t-test (partial): 1) job rotation, with a tcount value of 7.148 > ttable 1.674, so that compensation (X1) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y) partially. 2) career development with tcount 1.538 < ttable 1.674, so career development (X2) does not have a significant effect on employee performance (Y) partially. 3) motivation with a value of tcount 6.213 > ttable 1.674 so that motivation (X3) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y) partially. F count = 35.706 > F table 2.78. Then the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.673 (67.3%). So that it can be said that 67.3% of the variation of the independent variables, namely job rotation, career development and motivation in the model can explain the variables of employee performance at PT. Kemuning Group Branch Medan II while the remaining 32.7% is influenced by other variables outside the model.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of changes in organizational behavior which is considered less than optimal, especially in the environment of educational institutions in the city of Medan. In the dynamics of daily work, various challenges are still found such as low levels of discipline, weak work initiatives, and lack of collaboration and professionalism among educators and education staff. One of the factors that is suspected to be the main cause of these problems is irregularities in the implementation of training or human resource capacity development. Training should be a strategic means of instilling organizational values, building a positive work culture, and improving individual and collective competencies. Training that is designed and implemented periodically is believed to be able to be one of the important instruments in changing the work behavior of educational apparatus towards a more productive and professional direction. However, in practice, there have not been many studies that have empirically tested the extent to which periodic training is able to influence real changes in organizational behavior. Therefore, this study aims to quantitatively examine the effect of periodic training on organizational behavior changes in educational institutions, especially in the city of Medan. The main focus of this study includes three important aspects, namely improving work culture, increasing collaboration among others, and increasing professionalism. Data was obtained through survey techniques on a number of respondents from various educational institutions. The results of the study show that periodic training makes a significant contribution to improving discipline, work initiative, a sense of responsibility, and forming a pattern of work behavior that is adaptive to organizational changes and challenges.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Stres KerjaDan Beban Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Pada Pasar Swalayan Maju BersamaMedan Mall.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitianini adalah karyawan pada pasar swalayan maju bersama medan mall dengan jumlah40 karyawan dan sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 40 karyawan. Teknikpengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh. Sumber data terdiri atas dataprimer dan data sekunder. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakananalisis regresi linier berganda. Penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan software SPSSversi 22. Hasil analisis regresi linier berganda yaitu Y= 6,688 + 0,265 + 0,602 + emenunjukkan bahwa stres kerja dan beban kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikanterhadap kinerja karyawan . Hasil uji secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa stres kerjaberpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dapat dilihatdari nilai thitung = 3,715 > ttabel = 1,687, serta variabel beban kerja juga berpengaruhpositif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai thitung = 2,723 > ttabel =1,687. Sedangkan secara simultan nilai Fhitung =40,709 > Ftabel 3,25 sehingga dapatdisimpulkan bahwa stres kerja dan beban kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikanterhadap kinerja karyawan. Sementara Koefisien determinasi (R2) pada Adjusted RSquare sebesar 0,625 (62,5%), sedangkan untuk sisanya sebesar 27,5% dipengaruhioleh variabel lain di luar model.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah terjadinya fluktuasi pengunjung padaMuseum Perjuangan TNI dari tahun 2020-2024, kurangnya ketanggapan sebagianpara petugas dalam melakukan pelayanan yang baik dan promosi belum dilakukansecara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh KualitasPelayanan dan Promosi terhadap Kepuasan Pengunjung pada Museum PerjuanganTNI. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalampenelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 10.118 pengunjung. Teknik pengambilan sampelmenggunakan accidental sampling dengan jumlah sampel 99 responden. Penentuansampel menggunakan rumus slovin. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaituregresi linier berganda dengan pengolahan data SPSS Versi 23.Hasil analisis regresi linear berganda yaitu Y = 10,589 + 0,128X1 + 0,396 X2 + emenunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan dan promosi berpengaruh positif dansignifikan terhadap kepuasan pengunjung. Hasil uji t untuk variabel kualitaspelayanan (X1) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengunjungdi mana dapat dilihat nilai thitung 2.189 > ttabel 1,985 dengan uji siginifikan 0,031< 5%. serta variabel promosi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasanpengunjung. thitung 4,567 > ttabel 1,985 dengan uji signifikan (0,000) < 5%. Hasilnilai uji F terdapat pengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pengunjung dengan nilaiFhitung = 17,809 > Ftabel 3,09. Koefisien Determinansi (R2) sebesar 0,520(25,5%), sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa 25,5% variasi variabel bebas yaituKualitas Pelayanan dan Promosi pada model ini dapat menjelaskan variabelKepuasan Pengunjung pada Museum Perjuangan TNI sedangkan sisanya sebesar74,5% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain.

Abstract

Introduction: Employee performance in public service institutions remains a critical concern, particularly regarding factors such as workload and work discipline. This study examined the influence of workload and work discipline on employee performance at the Regional Library Office of North Sumatra Province. Purpose of the study: This research aimed to determine the extent to which workload and work discipline influence employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. Materials and methods: A quantitative approach was employed with saturated sampling involving 68 employees. Data were collected through validated questionnaires using a Likert scale. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted using SPSS version 22 to test the hypotheses. Results: The regression equation Y = 4.307 + 0.364X₁ + 0.510X₂ demonstrated that both workload (t = 3.132, p = 0.003) and work discipline (t = 4.099, p = 0.000) significantly influenced employee performance. Simultaneously, both variables showed a significant effect (F = 70.584, p = 0.000) with an adjusted R² of 0.675, indicating that 67.5% of performance variance was explained by these factors. Conclusions: Workload and work discipline significantly influence employee performance at the Regional Library Office of North Sumatra Province. Appropriate workload management and consistent discipline enforcement are essential for optimizing employee performance in public service institutions.

Abstract

The problem in this study is employee performance at the Sidikalang District Court, where performance is suboptimal, and there are indications of a lack of work ethic and competence in several aspects. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of competence and work ethic on employee performance at the Sidikalang District Court. This study used quantitative methods. The population and sample were 35 employees at the Sidikalang District Court. Sampling was conducted using a saturated sampling technique. Data sources in this study were primary and secondary data. Data collection methods in this study included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis used multiple linear regression, with hypothesis testing (partial test, simultaneous test, coefficient of determination test) at the Sidikalang District Court. Data processing was performed using SPSS version 25. The results of the multiple linear regression test are Y = 1.332 + 0.415X1 + 0.345X2 + e which shows that competence and work ethic will improve employee performance. The results of the partial test (t-test) show that competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance where it can be seen t count = 3.057> t table 2.036. And the work ethic variable also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance where it can be seen = 2.605> t table 2.036. The results of the simultaneous test (F test) can be seen the F count value = 96.771> t table 3.29, meaning that together competence and work ethic have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results of the determination coefficient with a correlation regression value of 0.849 (84,90%), so it can be said that 84,90 % of the variation of the independent variables, namely competence and work ethic in the model, explains the employee performance variable at the Sidikalang District Court while the remaining 15,1% is explained by other variables.

Abstract

Introduction: Employee performance fluctuation remains a critical challenge in public sector organizations, particularly in developing countries where administrative effectiveness directly impacts regional economic development. Purpose of the study: This research investigates the influence of work discipline and job satisfaction on employee performance at the Department of Industry, Trade, Energy, and Mineral Resources in Medan, Indonesia. Materials and methods: A quantitative approach was employed using saturated sampling of 66 civil servants. Data were collected through validated questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Results: The findings revealed that work discipline (t = 3.722, p < 0.05) and job satisfaction (t = 4.194, p < 0.05) significantly and positively influence employee performance. The regression model (Y = 9.102 + 0.261X₁ + 0.281X₂) demonstrated statistical significance (F = 20.237, p < 0.001), with both independent variables explaining 37.2% of the variance in employee performance. Conclusions: Work discipline and job satisfaction are critical determinants of employee performance in public sector organizations. Management should prioritize strengthening disciplinary mechanisms and enhancing job satisfaction to optimize organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji pengaruh Customer Satisfaction, Trust dan Corporate Reputation Dalam Meningkatkan Customer Loyality Polymer Pada PT. Intiplast Kemindo Pratama. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pelanggan PT. Intiplast Kemindo Pratama berjumlah 116 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 90 orang dengan rumus slovin dan teknik sampling yaitu simple random sampling. Metode statistik adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial menyatakan Customer Satisfaction berpengaruh positif terhadap Customer Loyality, karena nilai thitung sebesar 3,862 > ttabel sebesar 1,98761, Trust berpengaruh positif terhadap Customer Loyality, karena nilai thitung sebesar 4,048 > ttabel sebesar 1,98761 dan Corporate Reputation berpengaruh positif terhadap Customer Loyality, karena nilai thitung sebesar 2,886 > ttabel sebesar 1,98761. Dan juga secara simultan menyatakan Customer Satisfaction, Trust dan Corporate Reputation berpengaruh terhadap Customer Loyality, karena nilai Fhitung 76,474 > Ftabel 2,71. Besarnya koefisien determinasi membuktikan Customer Loyality cukup kuat dijelaskan Customer Satisfaction, Trust dan Corporate Reputation sebesar 71,8% dan sisanya 28,2% diterangkan variabel-variabel lain yang tidak ada di penelitian ini seperti promosi atau harga.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Village Fund Management on infrastructure development in Tanjung Putus Village, Pegajahan Distric, Serdang Bedagai Regency. This research uses a quantitative method. The 220 residents of the Desa Tanjung Putus community make up the study's population, and the sample size in this study was 69 people. Random sampling is used in the determination process (random sample). The data sources for this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data comes from observations, interviews, and questionnaires. Secondary data is obtained from data that has been documented. The analysis techniques used are simple linear regression analysis methods using the help of the SPSS version 22 program. The results of the research show that the Village Fund Management has a significant effect on infrastructure development in Tanjung Putus Village, Pegajahan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, with a value of t-count > t-table that is (2.720 > 1.99601) and a significance value of 0.008 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R2) R-square was 0.548, or 54.8%, while the remaining 45.2% was influenced by other variables not discussed in this research.
